The Brooklyn Nine-Nine star has become a celebrated figure for advocating for women and for his 2017 testimony about allegedly being assaulted by another man.

But public opinion might be shifting against Crews after he made a series of tweets about parenting.

It began on February 25, with him complaining about a New York Times article that accused President Barack Obama of "scolding" young black men.

Here is the thing though. His advice would have worked like 50 years ago, but it doesn't necessarily help today.

We are now living in a culture (in the West) that gives absolutely no value to masculine men in society. It doesn't value male courage to fight and it doesn't value war heroism or any kind of fighting heroism. In fact, it teaches people the opposite. The only men who are praised for being masculine are the ones who look like Chads, even if their masculinity is largely fake or non-existent (Chad movie actors). If you're not good looking, women won't give a damn about your fighting skills and your courage.

This is the first civilization in history where being a masculine man acting on his natural manly impulses is looked down upon.

This will definitely have very tragic consequences. Back in the old days, it was very different. If you remember my thread about dueling scars, 100 years ago in Germany having a huge scar all over your face was seen as highly valuable because it revealed manly courage. Now it's the opposite, men have to worry about their looks like women basically, it has become ridiculous.

50 years ago, being a working class manly man who knows how to fight would have landed you a woman even if your face was ugly. Today, it doesn't mean absolutely anything.

I can speak from my experience. I've trained boxing and MMA for a long time and have been around the men in this circles. Their success with women is mostly down to looks. The ones who look like Chads will get plenty of women while the ones who don't fit the modern beauty standards will struggle. I've met people who were great badass fighters, had solid jobs and worked hard and are as manly as possible, yet they can't get women and live very lonely.

I'm not saying it doesn't help, it definitely does help those who are high tier normies or chadlites, but for someone who is bellow average in looks it doesn't help much, if at all. If anything, it just makes you look like a brute, and if your body and face get damaged from fighting, your SMV is devalued even further.

Media Matters caught me saying something naughty on a radio show more than a decade ago. Rather than express the usual ritual contrition, how about this: I'm on television every weeknight live for an hour. If you want to know what I think, you can watch. Anyone who disagrees with my views is welcome to come on and explain why.

The newly released tapes reveal that in 2006, Carlson defended Warren Jeffs by saying that he didn't do anything that bad because he didn't rape any of those underage girls himself, insisting that forcing a girl to marry an old dude and have sex with him the rest of her life just is not as bad as pulling a stranger off the street and raping her.

CARLSON: He's not accused of touching anybody; he is accused of facilitating a marriage between a 16-year-old girl and a 27-year-old man. That's the accusation. That's what they're calling felony rape. [crosstalk] That's bullshit. I'm sorry. Now this guy may be [crosstalk], may be a child rapist. I'm just telling you that arranging a marriage between a 16-year-old and a 27-year-old is not the same as pulling a stranger off the street and raping her. That's bullshit.

Yeah. If Warren Jeffs had only ever forced underage girls to marry and have sex with old dudes, that would still be illegal. However, that was not the case. While the charges Jeffs faced in Utah and Arizona were for facilitation only, he was indicted in 2008b on felony charges in Texas for personally sexually assaulting two girls, ages 12 and 15 (the conviction on which he is currently serving time, as both the Utah and Arizona charges were thrown out so that Texas could pursue the more serious charge). In May of 2008, The Smoking Gun released "first anniversary" pictures of Jeffs, taken in 2006, with a girl he had married when she was 12.

Now, had Carlson only said these things in 2006, it would have been fair for him to say "Well, that information was not available to me at the time." Yet, all of this information was available to Carlson in 2009 when he made these other statements about Jeffs, which repulsed even the shock jock hosts:

CARLSON: Look, just to make it absolutely clear. I am not defending underage marriage at all. I just don't think it's the same thing exactly as pulling a child from a bus stop and sexually assaulting that child.

CO-HOST: Yeah, it's -- you know what it is? It's much more planned out and plotted.

THE LOVE SPONGE: Yeah, it should be almost -- you almost should put a premeditation --

CARLSON: Wait, wait! Hold on a second. The rapist, in this case, has made a lifelong commitment to love and take care of the person, so it is a little different. I mean, let's be honest about it.

CO-HOST: That's twisted.

That is, indeed, twisted.

By no measure is rape somehow more OK if you marry a woman and rape her for the rest of her life. It's not more OK if the rapist "loves" the victim, it's not more OK if they buy the victim dinner first, or if that rape is part of their "religion." A father who rapes his daughter has also made a commitment to love and take care of her, and I don't think anyone would say that is somehow "less bad" than if he grabbed another girl "off the street." Jeffs forced hundreds of underage girls to marry adult men and have sex with them. He also married and had sex with underage girls himself.

In 2009 -- which was, I remind you, a full year after Jeffs' Texas indictment and the pictures released by The Smoking Gun -- Carlson continued insisting that Jeffs absolutely did not marry underage girls himself.

CO-HOST: Yeah, that's what Warren Jeffs' in prison for. He's not in prison for polygamy, he's in prison for child rape.

CARLSON: Well, actually, he's not in prison for that. He didn't -- Warren Jeffs didn't marry underaged girls, actually.

CO-HOST: No, he's in prison for facilitation of child rape.

CARLSON: Whatever the hell that means.

CO-HOST: That means that --

CARLSON: He's in prison because he's weird and unpopular and he has a different lifestyle that other people find creepy.

CO-HOST: No, he is an accessory to the rape of children. That is a felony and a serious one at that.

CARLSON: What do you mean an accessory? He's like got some weird religious cult where he thinks it's OK to, you know, marry underaged girls, but he didn't do it. Why wouldn't the guy who actually did it, who had sex with an underaged girl, he should be the one who's doing life.

Wait until he finds out about Charles Manson!

And then he said:

I should make the -- you know what, I should make the laws around here, and Michael Vick would have been executed, and Warren Jeffs would be out on the street.

For the record, of his own 78 wives, 12 were 16 when Jeffs married them, and another 12 were 15 or under. So not only was Carlson's defense of Jeffs "twisted," he was also incredibly factually wrong about what Jeffs was accused of doing.

Of course, Carlson's defense of Jeffs isn't that far off from what other conservatives have said in the past about rape. Notably, Todd Akin tried to argue that there was a difference between "grey rape" and "legitimate rape," while claiming that women could not get pregnant from "legitimate" rape.

These weren't the only horrific statements Carlson made on the program. He also defended a teacher sleeping with a 13-year-old male student by saying that the teacher was actually doing a "service" by raping a child, so that the girls in his class wouldn't have to have sex with them.

So my point is that teacher's like this, not necessarily this one in particular, but they are doing a service to all 13-year-old girls by taking the pressure off. They are a pressure relief valve, like the kind you have on your furnace.

Again, child rape is bad. It's not up for discussion.

Carlson also laughed gleefully at the idea of abusing women, called Martha Stewart's daughter "cunty" and offered to give her the "spanking" she deserves (Carlson notably flipped out over Samantha Bee using the word "cunt" to describe Ivanka Trump, saying that he didn't know any man who would ever dare use that word because of how degrading it is), he compared women to dogs and called them "primitive," he repeatedly accused Hillary Clinton of wanting to cut off all of the penises in the world, and claimed that there is "no Canadian woman" anyone would pay to sleep with.

Will Carlson face the same fate Milo Yiannopoulos faced after he defended child rape? That's doubtful. The fact is, none of this is any worse than what he says on a daily basis on his show. He says terrible things all the time, and that is why he is so beloved by so many terrible, terrible people. It's not surprising that he is standing by his statements, or that people like Erick Erickson think the real crime is unearthing the things he said many years ago in the first place, suggesting that defending child rape as an adult man is just some kind of youthful indiscretion that isn't worth being concerned over.

I can’t remember that case now, but there was another case with a TIM and the newspaper headline said “woman commits fraud by pretending to be a man.” But he was a TIM who changed his identity back to his old male one to defraud people!

The job of journalists is to check and then report the facts. It is NOT their job to push a political agenda by lying about the sex of the person committing crimes because they think they’re winning social justice points or something. At this point I no longer trust anything I read about a ‘woman’ committing a crime until I go into the article itself and read the comments – sometimes the media will include a photograph of the criminal so we can see the person is a biological male that does not happen very often.

Great job, news media. I no longer trust what I read when it’s anything about women committing crimes.

I've seen it suggested elsewhere that the attacker might actually be a TIF, which would track with one of the victims identifying the attacker as a woman and with the rather female body shape of the attacker. (That's all I have to go on anyway. I haven't been able to find a good image of the suspect.) It'll be interesting to see if this is ever clarified as the case progresses.

Regardless, this story is yet another example of how trans bullshit makes it impossible to report the news accurately.

When males grow up, society tells them that being a gentlemen and having a interesting personality will eventually earn you a relationship with a female who will be drawn to you because of said personality.

This strategy works, if you are good looking. Males who are good looking will enjoy female attention and believe that the strategy will work for everyone. Meanwhile a different results happens with an unattractive male.

The ugly male will think that he has to be patient. He believes that by using clever jokes, spending time with his female friend, and showing respect for her will cause the female to eventually build up an attraction for him.

Of course the ugly male wants sex. But what he really wants is a relationship based on mutual attraction, in which sex is simply one of many benefits.

However, the ugly male is shown a completely different response. The female is not interested in his advances and only sees him as a friend. The male is confused? Did society lie to me? Is this female different from the rest? Usually, the male will respectfully decline. However, he now notices that the female is no longer interested in the friendship anymore, as she grows distant. The friendship ends and they never speak again. Eventually the male finds a new girl to hang out with.

After many rejections, the ugly male will realize something. The strategy society told him to use is not working. He will look around him at his peers in school and see what they did. His handsome tall and sexually active peers display a behavior different from his. They aren't gentlemen, they are cocky and display a nonchalant behavior when with their female friends. Of course there may be some handsome peers who are respectful, but the ugly male notices they are the minority. He chooses to copy the cocky bad boy behavior of his better looking friends.

When he attempts this new behavior, he is met with disdain and humiliation. The female will reject him immediately, and will show anger towards him. He is then taunted by his peers for being unsuccessful with females. Behind his back, they will mock his appearance.

The ugly male grows isolated and sad. He looks everywhere for advice and help on how to get a relationship. However, everyone is telling him it's his fault. People on the internet say those females were sour grapes, yet whenever he tried again, the result is the same. No matter what method he uses, he always faces rejection.

After trying to work out, dress nice, and work on his personality further, he realizes nothing is working. He becomes desperate. But amid his failure, he becomes angry. Upon being rejected, he lashes out on the female with rage. He doesn't really mean what he says, but his hatred of himself drove him to vent out in a mindless rant. The female will accuse the ugly male of having a bad personality, and maybe will screenshot what he says and post it on Reddit.

This is how incels are made.

We weren't born this way, we just know how things really work in the world. Appearance is the only thing that matters. Anyone can have a good personality, humans are social animals.

But not everyone can have a nice jawline, a tall stature, and hunter eyes.

Also, marriages with an unattractive male and a female aren't relationships. They are merely transactions, the female is not sexually attracted to the male. She is only doing so out of security and financial stability. Chances are, she is also over 30 and can no longer sustain her old lifestyle of chasing good looking males who treat her like shit.
