Quote# 143035

I’ve thought about writing this letter for a long time. I waited, hoping that fashions would change and such a letter would be unnecessary — but that doesn’t seem to be happening. I’m not trying to insult anyone or infringe upon anyone’s rights. I’m just a Catholic mother of four sons with a problem that only girls can solve: leggings.

The emergence of leggings as pants some years ago baffled me. They’re such an unforgiving garment. Last fall, they obtruded painfully on my landscape. I was at Mass at the Basilica with my family. In front of us was a group of young women, all wearing very snug-fitting leggings and all wearing short-waisted tops (so that the lower body was uncovered except for the leggings). Some of them truly looked as though the leggings had been painted on them.

A world in which women continue to be depicted as “babes” by movies, video games, music videos, etc. makes it hard on Catholic mothers to teach their sons that women are someone’s daughters and sisters. That women should be viewed first as people — and all people should be considered with respect.

I talk to my sons about Princess Leia and how Jabba the Hutt tried to steal her personhood by putting her into a slave girl outfit in which her body became the focus. (That’s the only scene in the whole franchise in which Leia appears in such a way — and it’s forced upon her.)

Leggings are hardly slave girl outfits. And no one is forcing them on the countless young women who wear them. But I wonder why no one thinks it’s strange that the fashion industry has caused women to voluntarily expose their nether regions in this way. I was ashamed for the young women at Mass. I thought of all the other men around and behind us who couldn’t help but see their behinds. My sons know better than to ogle a woman’s body — certainly when I’m around (and hopefully, also when I’m not). They didn’t stare, and they didn’t comment afterwards. But you couldn’t help but see those blackly naked rear ends. I didn’t want to see them — but they were unavoidable. How much more difficult for young guys to ignore them.

I’ve heard women say that they like leggings because they’re “comfortable.” So are pajamas. So is nakedness. And the human body is a beautiful thing. But we don’t go around naked because we respect ourselves — we want to be seen as a person, not a body (like slave-girl Leia). We don’t go naked because we respect the other people who must see us, whether they would or not. These are not just my sons — they’re the fathers and brothers of your friends, the male students in your classes, the men of every variety who visit campus. I’m fretting both because of unsavory guys who are looking at you creepily and nice guys who are doing everything to avoid looking at you. For the Catholic mothers who want to find a blanket to lovingly cover your nakedness and protect you — and to find scarves to tie over the eyes of their sons to protect them from you!

Leggings are so naked, so form fitting, so exposing. Could you think of the mothers of sons the next time you go shopping and consider choosing jeans instead? Let Notre Dame girls be the first to turn their backs(ides) on leggings. You have every right to wear them. But you have every right to choose not to. Thanks for listening to the lecture. Catholic moms are good at those!

Quote# 143062

There’s this doctor who’s written books about all these hellish NDEs. How come he has so many people in hell and other researchers don’t hardly at all?”

The doctor was cardiologist Maurice Rawlings, in Chattanooga, who did indeed write almost a half-dozen books about hellish near-death experiences between 1978 and 2008 (he died at 87 in 2010). Here’s what I can say with any certainty about why he reported encountering so many distressing experiences.

Rawlings told the story of his patient who collapsed during a stress test, and “before we could stop the machine, he dropped dead.”

Well, apparently not completely dead, because in the patient’s own words,

“When I came to, Dr. Rawlings was giving me CPR, and he asked me what was the matter, because I was looking so scared. I told him that I had been to hell and I need help! He said to me, ‘keep your hell to yourself, I’m a doctor and I’m trying to save your life, you need a minister for that.’ … And I would fade out every so often, so then he would focus CPR again and bring me back…Whenever I would come back to my body, I kept asking, “Please help me, please help me, I don’t want to go back to hell.” Soon a nurse named Pam said, “He needs help, do something!” At that time, Dr. Rawlings told me to repeat this short prayer. “I believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Jesus, save my soul. Keep me alive. If I die, please keep me out of hell!”

The experience of the patient, Charles McKaig, then became pleasant, and he reported seeing his deceased mother and stepmother and being surrounded and comforted by the Holy Spirit. Upon awakening, he was an immediate evangelical Christian.

In Rawlings words, “After this was all over, I realized what really happened. It was a double conversion. Not only had this make-believe prayer converted this atheist … it had also converted this atheist doctor that was working on him”

Years later, Rawlings told his audiences,

“If you can catch people before they die and give them the option of accepting Jesus Christ as their personal savior, then they can’t loose [sic] whether they live or die. That is with them forever. And when they die like this, we don’t have to question where they went. And the preacher will be right when he says they are in Heaven. She went to heaven to be with God.

“But for those who die on the street, where do they go? It is the minister’s fault, your fault and mine because we did not approach them with the Gospel which is the free gift to anyone that wants it.”

Essentially, that is the backstory of why Maurice Rawlings reported so many hellish experiences: He wanted to get people’s attention in order to save them from the hell he believed in; he wanted to give them a chance to accept a faith he trusted completely, and telling heavenly NDE accounts was not going to achieve that. He was being steadfastly and thoroughly evangelical.

Despite his faith, a great many people object strenuously to that point of view and discount his work because of it. The real problem underlying the Rawlings material, however, is not theological. The problem is, as his fellow cardiologist (and fellow evangelical Christian) Michael Sabom pointed out repeatedly, a distortion of data.

A reading of any of Rawlings’ books will immediately give the impression that he resuscitated countless near-death experiencers—he himself said that his first book summarized “several hundred” cases—and heard their testimonies immediately, roughly half of them “hellish.” Sabom’s painstaking investigation of Rawlings’ data turned up quite a different picture.

Despite what was reported in Beyond Death’s Door, those “several hundred” cases “were represented by only 21 cases of ‘heavenly NDEs and 12 ‘hellish’ NDEs. Many of these were clearly not from Rawlings’ own practice, having been excerpted from other published sources. Others were simply left unidentified.”

The same situation presented with To Hell and Back, Rawlings’ second book. In a 1996 review in the Journal of Near-Death Studies, Sabom noted that of the 32 cases Rawlings claimed, twenty “were clearly lifted and referenced from other sources, and six were personally acquired examples used in his previous books. The remaining six NDEs appear to be new, previously unpublished accounts obtained from his own experience. However, two of these six cases were mentioned only in passing and never described.”

In other words, by reusing previous accounts and padding from other sources, Rawlings was able to give the impression of a greater number of distressing NDEs than he actually had. Further, his books leave one with the impression that many, many more distressing NDEs would be revealed if only people were interviewed immediately upon resuscitation. Sabom’s research indicated that conclusion also not to be supported by the data.

“In fact,” Sabom wrote, “the cases he presents actually seem to favor the opposite conclusion: out of 15 ‘hellish’ cases, ten (67 percent) were clearly shown to have been brought to Rawlings’ attention long after the golden ‘first few minutes’ after resuscitation, four were elicited at an unspecified time, and one 7 percent) was clearly noted as immediate.”

There are too many other problems to detail here. The gist of them all is that Rawlings, who was without question a lovely man, sincere in his beliefs and genuine in his concern for people, was working from a highly personal agenda more than from a desire for unbiased information.

What Michael Sabom reported after years of carefully reviewing Rawlings’ work was this:

[Rawlings] establishes himself before his audience as a cardiologist with impeccable credentials, a near-death researcher, and a committed Christian. Using these medical, scientific, and religious qualifications, he then presents the NDE as a glimpse of an afterlife and directly applies the Christian doctrine of heaven and hell to these experiences. This gridlike approach, however, poses problems to Rawlings in his interpretation of his and others’ research when the type of person (for example, non-Christian) or type of near-death event (for example, suicide attempt) does not jibe with the expected afterlife destination (for example, hell). Rawlings confronts the data of others with authoritative statements substantiated with little or no data of his own and illustrated with anecdotal accounts that, over time, appear to have been altered to fit his own designs…”

Sabom concluded, “I am a Christian and believe in heaven and hell. Based on current knowledge, however, we have much to learn about the NDE, both distressing and pleasant, before we can say confidently just what the experience means and how it fits into our spiritual beliefs.”

What this says to us is that before believing any claim about “ultimate truth,” or any researcher’s sincere pronouncement of having a final explanation about NDEs, it is wise, as Dorothy discovered about the Wizard of Oz, to look behind the curtain to find out who is providing the answers, where they are getting their facts, and what other people of substance are saying about them. This is not cynicism but discernment.

How ironic that the anniversary is still deemed worth observance considering that this "first shot" missed so wildly. This crackpot theory would never have gotten off the ground if Darwin could have seen inside the cell. It might have humbled him enough to abandon his RACIST *theory* but in the years since, you've all become much to arrogant to admit the truth.

Neverlution is totally impossible. It only works if you have a system already in place and you *want* to view that system solely through the cone of uncertainty.

(In response to the question: "How can you believe in a god who is supernatural when there is a 90% chance that he doesn’t exist?")

Your numbers numbers are grounded in nothing. But I’ll point to numbers and ground them in some kind of reality.

I would say its 99% to near 100% that Jesus lived. Bart Ehrman would probably come close to agreeing with me on that one. Ehrman says the alternative theories are conspiracy theory rather than a fair and balanced approach to academic and informed history. (not to mention the extra-Biblical proof of Jesus’ existence)

I would say its 99% to near !00% that a spiritual being or Designer/Creator God created the world. Even atheists admit that the Big Bang, the creation of organic, Evolution, and the human mind all are miraculous or near miraculous events.

(You might remember the quote about someone “monkeying” with reality to get it right, but there are a number of similar quotes from agnostic and atheistic scientists, not to mention dozens of Christian and otherwise religious scientists)

The overlap of those two truths is the nexus of reality.

I could go on…..

If there are no spiritual beings and no divinity and we aren’t spiritual beings there is zero naturalistic basis for freedom, rationality, truth, human dignity, meaning, purpose, or ethics. Also, mind, conscience, and consciousness tend to loose their grounding, not to mention identity and personality lose their grounding as well.

Everything in a world of “we’re just colliding chemistry and physics” means jack squat. Its a philosophy of absolute nothingness that ends in nihilism and dehumanization. Its a philosophical dead end. You cant’ get something akin to the US Constitution from such a philosophy. Only by looking at the ideas of natural law and the Imagio Dei (made in the Image of God).

That means naturalism is a dead end for a philosophical, value, and ethical basis of our political and personal values. It can’t find the underlying value of humans. When you say “ we’re all just atoms” without acknowledging the larger realities of human personality and identity which naturalism fundamentally denies, silences, or erases you stack the deck in favor of a dehumanized and utterly stripped down view of man and women (bare bones).

No wonder survival and sex—rather than a robust understanding of human desire and emotion is the end result.

Or lets look at how the values of Jesus Christ could pretty much end every conflict on the planet and the very roots of those conflicts in less than 2 seconds. (envy, pride, ego, are all idols that Christ as a person calls into question, and are the root cause of conflict and the vast majority of the problems of the world). But people are too interested in ego to step back and see the healing transformation that would instantly occur if we actually gave those values a try.

For more on why naturalism is a poor basis for rights and ethics, I suggest reading this post which details some of the history of this philosophy in ethics: Nathan Ketsdever's answer to What are some philosophers who have argued in favor of morality being tied to religion, and some who have argued against that?

This is the next logical read after that, as it demonstrates the contrast between the two viewpoints: If the Bible was used to control people by the government, what would it be doing to the people?

Getting back to the book I read today by Dr. Henry Makow, on page 164 he explains how Zionists are using the false accusation of “Anti-Semitism” to demonize anyone who dares to question the New World Order. ...

“Anti-Semitism used to refer to a racial prejudice against Jews. Now 'hate' is a code word for something else: Opposition to Zionism, a political program that even many Jews find repugnant. ”

SOURCE: Dr. Henry Makow, “Illuminati 2: Deceit And Seduction,” pg. 164.

This grand deception has been extremely effective to silence the churches and crush anybody who dares to tell the truth today. This matter is very important for Christians to understand, so you won't be drawn into the satanic New World Order. What is the New World Order? In short, it is the Beast system of the coming Antichrist, as foretold in the Book of Revelation. The “old” world centered around family values, patriotism, faith in God, individualism and honoring one's parents. In order to achieve a “new” world order, all these things MUST be destroyed.

I'm giving you links so you can see that what I say is true! All of the sick perversion that teenagers are seeing in music videos today, which parents are completely oblivious to these days in this wicked generation, are intentionally designed to sexualize your child. Satan knows that if he can influence your child to commit sexual immorality at a young age, he has ruined their entire life. Sex is the God of satanism! It is not mere coincidence that Hollywood, video games and music videos are saturated with blood, gore, torture and sexuality, which are all core elements of satanism!!! Listen parents, Satan wants your child! The Devil always comes to us as a beautiful liar. The Devil comes to innocent teenagers as Taylor Swift in a white dress, but she is a hellbound satanic whore! This ungodly, sicko, perverted, Christ-hating, perverse generation, laughs and scoffs at my preaching, but when you are 75 years old you won't be laughing, when you see where it all ends, when you're about to enter into eternity and face your Creator!!!

You're right on some stuff and very wrong on others. I agree man is a soul(Read genesis, the creation of Adam) but he was not created mortal either.....Adam and Eve were immortal until the fall of man and sin, that's where death came in. Only through Christ/repentance/regeneration/getting saved can we go back to God's original plan for humanity before Satan butted in and receive eternal life in Heaven....simple as that. Man was always intended to be immortal because God is immortal and we're created in His image.....it's just common sense and it's Biblical. The whole "spirit departing from the body after death" comes from Platonism and Gnosticism and is not Biblical at all.....very pagan stuff and complete bullshit. A lot of people get these things backwards including Christians who are very ignorant and don't read scripture carefully or do research. No, the Bible does not teach "annihilationism" where are you getting that? Scripture please. The Bible is very clear on eternal punishment/lake of fire(plenty of scripture for this), man is eternal either way no matter what you believe because the Bible/God says so. We're only "mortal" for a short while. The question is: where are people going to spend eternity? Heaven or Hell.....it's that simple.

Have you seen the OMG LOL WTF opening prayer at the Pennsylvania state House that's got everybody talking about what a crazy ass GOP state Rep. Stephanie Borowicz is? The one what happened the same day the legislative body swore in its first Muslim rep, Democrat Movita Johnson-Harrell, who had brought all her friends and family to celebrate the occasion with her, many of whom were also Muslims?

It was OH MY DEAR SWEET JESUS, but we don't mean that in a religious way, or in a nice way.

https://youtu.be/RLVrgWygwQo

First off, we must note that these sorts of opening prayers are fucked up and weird and seem to fly in the face of that whole "separation of church and state" thing. (There's been a bit of controversy about this in Pennsylvania!)

We also must note that Rep. Borowicz herself responded to the controversy by saying, "That's how I pray every day," she is not sorry, and we believe her when she says all her prayers are that batshit.

And oh boy, do we mean batshit! Far be it from Wonkette to make fun of a person's personal praying style, haha just kidding, LET'S DO IT.

Borowicz started out with that whole "HEY LORD" casual Southern Baptist crap, like you are just asking God how it's hangin', but then she quit fucking around and got serious. She told Jesus some things about himself and reminded Him of all His greatest hits, kind of like when Trump's Cabinet praises him before a meeting. She shouted "JESUS" no fewer than one million and eight times, we guess because you have to say "JESUS" a lot to make sure you have His holy attention, as JESUS is reportedly bad about playing with His iPhone these days while people are praying.

It's around the 1:22 mark when House Speaker Mike Turzai, who is also a Republican, kind of casually looks over at Borowicz like "the fuck is happening right now?" Around then, Borowicz begins explaining Jesus some evangelical GOP talking points about Donald Trump protecting Israel. (Is that a tell that really she meant this prayer as a dogwhistle, because OMG MUSLIMS EVERYWHERE, or is it just because Michele Bachmann types can't fucking shut up about their extremely two-faced support for Israel, which is in and of itself pretty anti-Semitic and anti-Muslim, considering why they support Israel? Only God knows her heart.)

It's at the 1:46 mark, when Borowicz is wrapping up her long-winded Amen, when Turzai literally nudges her like "in the name of Jesus CUT IT THE FUCK OUT."

We thought she might break out in tongue-speaking, but maybe Turzai's nudge interrupted the Holy Spirit's flow. Shit happens.

Are people offended? Oh yes, they are! Because even if Borowicz didn't literally mean her prayer like WINK WINK NUDGE NUDGE, MUSLIMS, it sure came across that way to a lot of people, on such a historic day in the Pennsylvania state House.

As the prayer reached a crescendo, at least one member shouted objections. Turzai, standing behind her, looked up again and nudged her elbow, prompting her to quickly conclude the address. Afterward, the protests only grew louder.

"It blatantly represented the Islamophobia that exists among some leaders — leaders that are supposed to represent the people," Rep. Movita Johnson-Harrell, the newly sworn-in Democrat who is Muslim, told the Pennsylvania Capital-Star on Monday. "I came to the Capitol to help build bipartisanship and collaborations regardless of race or religion to enhance the quality of life for everyone in the Commonwealth."

Johnson-Harrell has also said she would like Borowicz to be censured. The governor of Pennsylvania, Tom Wolf, was reportedly "horrified."

The top Democrat in the state House had thoughts:

"Never have we started out with a prayer that divides us," House Minority Leader Frank Dermody said to applause from Democratic members. "Prayer should never divide us. It should bring us together."

And this guy walked out:

I walked off the House floor in protest during today’s prayer led by a GOP member. This fire and brimstone Evangelical prayer was before the swearing in of the PA House’s first ever Muslim woman. It epitomizes religious intolerance.
— Rep. Kevin J. Boyle

And this Democratic rep, a Christian man, also had thoughts:

Prayer should never be weaponized, especially on a celebratory day for @RepMovita as she’s sworn in as the 1st Muslim woman to serve in the #PAHouse. This prayer was deeply disrespectful and meant to intimidate Movita & her family. We won’t stay silent on what matters! #LoveWins
- Rep. Jordan A. Harris

As for Borowicz, as we noted, she is not sorry, because it ain't your business what she says to the Lord, whose name is JESUS, did you hear His name is JESUS, all you Muslim people in the chamber? Oh, you knew that, because of how Jesus is a beloved prophet in your religion? OK well anyway, JESUS!

On Monday, Turzai, the GOP House speaker, reminded everyone to at least try not being total dicks while they're praying:

"As you are preparing your thoughts, we'd ask that you craft a prayer that is respectful of all religious belief," Turzai said.

At press time, Vice President Mike Pence was thinking about calling Borowicz and appointing her to be the new Space Force Secretary Of Going To The Moon And Stickin' A Cross In It For Jesus, just kidding, he's not allowed to talk to women unsupervised because Mother is worried he'll accidentally fuck them.

I'm having my morning cereal and having a good chuckle at the NSA's Team C factory trolls trying to shut down comments that don't fit their talking points (as usual).

The principle being reported here is being able to criticize, mock or disrespect your political leaders, which they insinuate is freely done in Western countries. And how these trolls go out of their way to condemn Tsinghua U. for suspending the Prof. For the benefit of the lazy trolls here, let me highlight a sample of what happened to citizens of the West who criticized their political leaders:
1. Russia Passes Law Punishing ‘Disrespect’ and ‘Fake News’ - US News, March 2019

3. US DJ fired after saying Bush "skedaddled" after 9/11
4. Phil Donahue's highly rated show was cancelled after criticizing Iraq War
5. Female cyclist lost job after giving Trump the middle finger as he was leaving his golf club in Virginia
6. Australian radio dj fired after asking then PM Julia Gillard about her partner’s sexuality during a live interview.
7. 21-year old Canadian page fired for staging anti-Harper (the then PM) protest.

First, masturbation can be a form of homosexuality because it is a sexual act
that does not involve a woman. If a man were to masturbate while engaged in other
forms of sexual intimacy with his wife then he would not be doing so in a homosexual
way. However, any man who does so without his wife in the room is bordering on
homosexuality activity, particularly if he's watching himself in a mirror and being turned
on by his own male body.

Second, masturbation is a form of monosexuality because it is sex that does not
include another person. Since sex is given for such purposes as oneness (Gen. 2:24),
intimate knowledge (Gen. 4:1), and comfort (2 Sam. 12:24), having sex with oneself
seems to miss some of the significant biblical reasons for sexual intimacy.

Third, masturbation is often done in haste because of the mortifying embarrassment
of possibly getting caught in the act. Subsequently, masturbation encourages a man to
become a notorious minute-man who will not be well skilled in the self-control necessary
to satisfy a wife.

Fourth, masturbation can establish a pattern of laziness. If a single man wants to
have an orgasm, he needs to first become a man and undergo the hard work of courting
and marrying a woman. If a married man wants to have an orgasm, he needs to first
undergo the hard work of loving, leading, and romancing his wife. But, lazy men are
prone to rub one out in the shower each morning rather than undergo the labors usually
associated with responsible masculine married life.

Fifth, though masturbation is biblically permissible, the question remains whether
or not it is beneficial for you ( 1 Cor. 10:23). God's men are quite divided on this matter,
as many find it to be very beneficial to them before they are married, during seasons of
their marriage when they are away from their wife, etc. Conversely, other men claim
that masturbating is not beneficial for them because they become mastered by it and
unable to keep it under control (1 Cor. 6:12). This is biologically caused by the fact
that masturbating does temporarily relieve sexual urges and frustrations, but also causes
greater and more frequent biological urges for additional ejaculations. Practically, as the body emits semen it then quickly produces more so that supply can keep up with
demand. So, a man who masturbates to ejaculation will find himself masturbating with
increasing frequency as his body continues to demand more frequent relief, thus negating
his original goal of masturbating to relieve sexual frustration.

Brunei bans Christmas: Sultan warns those celebrating could face up to five years in jail

Anyone found illegally celebrating Christmas in Brunei could face up to five years in prison, according to a reported declaration by the Sultan of the tiny oil-rich state.

Brunei introduced its ban on Christmas last year over fears that celebrating it "excessively and openly" could lead its Muslim population astray.

Christians and others can celebrate Christmas, but must do so in private and have to first alert the authorities.

Local Islamic religious leaders have promoted the ban, warning that adopting the trappings of Christmas is tantamount to imitation of another faith, prohibited in some interpretations of Islam.

Officials from the Ministry of Religious Affairs have also reportedly visited local businesses to ensure they are not displaying Christmas decorations, including Santa hats and banners with Christmas greetings.

Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, who has ruled the former British colony for nearly 50 years, introduced the ban on Christmas in 2014, the same year Brunei adopted a stricter penal code, based on Islamic sharia and including punishments such as stoning and amputation.

The Christmas ban is justified under the new laws - the punishment for celebrating Christmas is a fine of $20,000 or up to five years in prison, or both.

The ban has encountered some resistance - the social media campaign #MyTreedom, which encourages Christians and other in countries such as Saudi Arabia and Iran to post images of themselves celebrating Christmas, includes several contributions from Brunei residents.

At least 65 per cent of Brunei's 420,000-strong population are Muslims.

I have went searching for my answer and I figured I should post it. Firstly no, it isnt possible for a human to become pregnant with an animals child. The reason I say no, is because womens eggs are different than other species, and so the semen from an animal will not enter a womans eggs. This, I have found out, really aggravates some women who are just way into beastiality. The many women who would "love to" have there animals child are plentiful, and a many would just "love to" have the chance to do so. I have even encountered some women (on the net) who have considered going to a veternarian and asking that thier eggs be replaced by a b---- eggs or another female animals eggs, just so they can have half-human half-animal babies. Cloning animals is bad. Cloning babies and having them artificially inseminated is worse. Having hybrid animal-humans out in this world is by far the most inhumane and unmoral thing I have ever heard of. What is wrong with people?

There is NOTHING any more evil than women and young girls walking around public in their underwear. It is unthinkable! What is wrong with people today? It is now considered normal and acceptable to video and take photos for advertisements of young girls wearing only their underwear. If you don't see the harm and evil in this, then you need to get right with God. Young girls ought to wear dresses and culottes, which properly cover the body, teaching them to be chaste and virtuous. I have many places on my women's page where you can obtain such clothing. You have no excuse to dress like a prostitute, feminist hussy, or whore. Most women today scoff and laugh at what I preach, but God is on my side I assure you. What do you think God will say to you on Judgment Day when you give account for your life? Do you think God will overlook the immodesty? Do you really think it's not an issue with God, when He has commanded for all women in 1st Timothy 2:9 to dress in MODEST APPAREL? God cares about the way you dress, I assure you ladies.

Sexual immorality is not a trifle matter with God. Immodest clothing leads to immodest living. It always does. Your immodesty may causes someone else to go sin. You are accountable to God for causing that sin.

With most of the pain that comes from undocumented and unpreached reality, we should have blackpill be mainstream as an apology/ amends.

Only by getting our plights out there can we have the apology for discrimination based on lookism.
If we don't get that then we will have suffered for nothing. Minorities and their phony problems in the modern world today compare nothing to the ongoing oppression and ego-flaying of lookism.
Human narcissism is more of a hotspot than racial oppression. The victim compass/ paradigm needs to exit the 19th century and start looking at contemporary issues.
In the 21st century geno-oppression is more widespread than mere racism. Racism is a factor. But there are greater things out there that cause us all grief.
The natural order is fucked and we need to set stipulations to get it working again.
Working in the favor of humanitarianism.
Liberals are weird. they often think the world is peaceful and secure, but only flip that script when people they care about are being oppressed whilst they calim to be out there for hte sake of all the oppressed.

LGBT+ people to be stoned or whipped to death in Brunei under new sex law

Amnesty International condemn ‘heinous’ rules introduced as part of Sharia reforms in tiny kingdom

Brunei is set to permit the stoning and whipping to death of LGBT+ people under a series of reforms to its penal code that are attracting international condemnation.

New laws due to come into effect next Wednesday will see the tiny kingdom become the first nation in southeast Asia to impose the death penalty for those found engaging in same-sex intercourse.

Homosexuality was already illegal and carried a long jail sentence in Brunei. However, the country is in the process of introducing a Sharia Law-style system for criminal punishment.

Human rights groups have denounced the move, including Amnesty International, which described the new punishments as “heinous” and “inhumane”.

It said same-sex relations would become a capital offence that could be carried out by whipping or stoning.

Amnesty warned other new laws would permit amputation as a punishment for robbery or theft – a sentence that would also be carried out on children.

“Some of the potential ‘offences’ should not even be deemed crimes at all, including consensual sex between adults of the same gender,” said Rachel Chhoa-Howard, a Brunei researcher for the organisation.

“Brunei must immediately halt its plans to implement these vicious punishments, and revise its penal code in compliance with its human rights obligations.

“The international community must urgently condemn Brunei’s move to put these cruel penalties into practice.”

Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, who rules Brunei by absolute monarchy, first introduced measures under the Sharia Penal Code in 2014, imposing fines or jail terms for offences such as pregnancy out of wedlock or failing to pray on Fridays.

However, laws targeting LGBT+ people were shelved following international protests, including a boycott of the Sultan’s exclusive Beverly Hills Hotel in California.

But it appears the monarch will now implement the legislation, which he has in the past said should be regarded as “special guidance” from god.

Around two thirds of the oil-rich nation’s 417,000 inhabitants are Muslim, while it is also home to significant Christian and Buddhist communities.

There has been no vocal opposition to the new rules in Brunei, where public criticism of the Sultan and his policies are extremely rare.

The country has long been known for conservative policies such as banning the sale of alcohol and it already issues caning as a punishment under secular laws for several crimes including immigration offences.

Family Friendly Gaming, the industry leader in covering the family friendly video games is bringing back a popular series on the dark side of gaming. Thanks to your feedback this series is continuing. This time we are exploring the practice of black listing. Are you familiar with this practice? It is a way for video game companies to discriminate against those they do not like, disagree with, and/or want to punish. Too many in PR and Marketing view the gaming media as unpaid extensions of their marketing department. They view us as being there to make them money. They have this entitlement mentality that sabotages honest and transparent communications. When we say something they don’t like they knee jerk react.

The discrimination against Christians and conservatives in the video game media realm is entrenched. Family Friendly Gaming experienced this and has written about it. Nintendo is the best example. Nintendo decided to attack traditional Biblical marriage, and embrace the blowing in the wind changing standards of man. This obvious rebellion against God was bad, what was worse was their double speak where they claim to provide for all people. They obviously do not provide for Christians, as history has shown. They extended their discrimination to black list Family Friendly Gaming because we dared point out this fact. Nintendo could have engaged in the dialogue. Nintendo could have apologized for their systemic discrimination against Christians. Nintendo could have tried to debate it. Instead they showed themselves to be petty, and small minded. This is after Family Friendly Gaming had done all kinds of things to help them out and make them tons of money for nine years.

Say one thing someone within a company does not like and you could find yourself being shunned. Exercise your First Amendment right of Freedom of Religion, and Freedom of Press to be treated like a third class citizen. The lack of diversity of thought within the video game industry is closing in on Holly Weird levels. It makes me wonder if these people in these companies are violating the First Amendment. Are they violating our civil rights? Their behavior is bad by any enlightened system we follow. Sadly there is not punishment for their black listing behavior. There is no appeals process to their acting like judge, jury, and executioner. There is no checks and balance on their faulty decision making process. So this evil, vile, and wicked behavior continues in the video game industry. What solutions can you see this major problem?

I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.

I don't see how much of what you have stated contradicts what I have posted. You are correct. The polystrate fossils had to be buried within a short period of time; that is my contention as well. And we also now know that the polystrate fossilized trees in Yellowstone Park were most likely all a result of one event, rather like that at Spirit Lake, not the burial of multiple forests on top of each other--simply that different species of trees sunk to the bottom of a lake at different rates based on the characteristics of their wood (how quickly they absorbed the water), so landed on the bottom at different times as the lake filled with more sediment.

Of course, the layers are sorted by the size of the particulate. And the worldwide flood consisted of many events, not just one. The only item that is contradictory is your uniformitarian worldview assumption of billions of years.

I shook it to get the water throughout the dirt. Then I let the bottle sit. Isn't that the way you said you did your experiment? The courser and heavier particles settle to the bottom.

As the continents rose over at least months if not years after the inundation of the flood, the waters rushed off the surface causing catastrophic erosion of the surfaces, which is where the sediment from the layers come from.

And yes, during the worldwide flood there were huge amounts of heat energy released into the oceans from tectonics and volcanism. This is what is needed for an ice age--lots of moisture going into clouds from warm oceans and dropping on cool continents, which were a result of the atmosphere with significant particulate matter from volcanic activity blocking sunlight on the continents--for more than a hundred years. That also accounts for why there was no ice cover in the arctic areas of the earth--the warm oceans surrounding it. Is there a better explanation (not better storytelling) for how ice ages form? I don't think so.

I Love How He Humiliates Me

I don’t know anyone who builds shaming and liberating arguments the way the apostle Paul does. He builds with stones of insight — one on another, until the edifice stands before you with humiliating and liberating obviousness.

We are treated as rational people, not animals driven by instinct: “I speak as to sensible people; judge for yourselves what I say” (1 Corinthians 10:15). If we should be ashamed, he will show us with arguments, not slurs. And he will show us the way out.

Twice in 1 Corinthians, Paul uses the noun for shame (Greek entrope). In both cases, the issue is similar. Believers are walking in the counsel of the godless. They are acting like the world has more wisdom than they do in matters of relationships and resurrection.

(in the comments of a YouTube video where Alex Jones is roaring abuse at restaurant customers, who are laughing at him)

Alex is arguing with the same morons who said: Brexit wouldn't happen. Trump wouldn't be president. The Kavanaugh accusers were telling the truth. Elizabeth Warren is a Native American. The Coventry High School kids harassed a Native American. Jussie Smollett was telling the truth, and of course (drum roll please)... Trump was colluding with Russia. I don't watch InfoWars but leftists in the democratic party have shown time and again they are Hyper-Emotional, Manic, Self-Important, Nonfactual, Liars. If the Dunce Cap fits, leftists...

[CHUCK U FARLEY: They're also laughing at the psycho who believes aliens are reotoids shapeshifters that have infiltrated the government...]

He never gave out a single address. Google before you speak. More FUD. He believed it was staged, which is wrong but his opinion he is FREE to express. He was de-platformed for his opinions and for helping Trump get elected... a sore spot to this day with pansy, immature leftists. #1A

[CHUCK U FARLEY: Trump had nothing to do with him being deplatformed that's just crazy talk. Guess what the company's that deplatformed Alex are private companies so they have all the right to kick you to the curb if you break their guidelines.]

Your sad little political party is on suicide watch. The whore "Stormy Daniels" attorney, Michael Avenatti has just been arrested on multiple charges that carry 5-20 year sentences! Can't stump the Trump! Sad trombone playing for you. AhhhhhHAHAHAHAA! Get help.https://edition.cnn.com/politics/live-news/michael-avenatti-charged/index.html

[CHUCK U FARLEY: You assume I'm a Democrat just because I see through Jones's craziness is retarded. You have no bullshit detector so you cling to an idiot that spouts off nutty conspiracies.]

Tell that to your wife's boyfriend. He'll love it. Cuck. I don't watch InfoWars, but pussified men like you are cancer to a free society and free exchange of thought, right or wrong. Freedom of speech is the most basic of human rights. Applauding the shutting down someone because you don't care for the sounds they make with their mouth makes you a fascist little tyrant. Emphasis on "little" (you're wife talks....).

Quote# 143026

Ever since the fall, hell’s mouth has gaped open. Many will be swallowed up today. More will the next day. And the next. This reality caused even the apostle Paul profound sorrow and unceasing anguish (Romans 9:2). Does it for the rest of us?

This world is a doorway into eternity — a fact that few today consider and fear. Sinners frolic before the Almighty God, daring to provoke him to his face. Although God hates all evildoers (Psalm 5:5), burns with indignation towards the unrepentant every day (Psalm 7:11), and is even now whetting his sword and bending his bow in judgment (Psalms 7:11–13), the unrepentant go about life unmindful of their predicament. They slumber atop an active volcano.

They mistake the God of delayed wrath for the God of no wrath at all. They hear about the nuclear bomb of eternity, but are self-assured that it will never detonate. They approach the God of the Bible like some do those British royal guards: mocking, poking, and testing him to see if he will move — never realizing that the rifle has lowered until it is too late.

And they love the god they’ve created. Their god is never angry with them. Their god, if he even hates their sin, only loves the sinner. Their god is only merciful, only forgiving, only compassionate. Their god does not take sin personally, nor would he require the shedding of blood to forgive it. Their god serves the creature and simply pours forth unconditional love when and how the creature calls for it.

But this god is a pipe dream. This god is a demon. This god is absent from the Old and New Testaments. Even now, the true God holds the unrepentant by the nape of the neck to do them unspeakable injury if they will not bow to his great love and mercy, and take up his terms of peace and eternal joy offered them in the blood of his own Son.
