The next proof of Jesus’ divinity lies in the well documented miraculous healings that have been worked through the centuries. Medical science has failed to come up with an explanation for the miracles at Lourdes and other places in which people have purportedly seen the Blessed Virgin Mary, Christ's mother.

We resist the redemptive work of Christ because it is an uncomfortable reminder of our need for repentance and living according to God's laws. It is easier to not believe in the saving work of Christ than to admit that there is something larger than ourselves that we are being held accountable to. To know that there is a God who judges our deeds is a truly humbling experience. It is much, much easier to think of ourselves as “ little gods”. However, we must acknowledge ourselves as creatures created by God and redeemed out of love.

Let us not be so proud that we think ourselves to be “gods” of our own destiny and that there is no God or No One who loved us so much that He paid the price for our many offenses against His sovereignty. If we humble ourselves in prayer and ask for faith, it will not be denied us.

I think my husband is the most handsome wonderful man alive and someday he may think something good about me, but if not, Praise be to GOD, because I am free. South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster had a request regarding faith-based foster care providers from an Obama administration regulation make an exception for groups in the Palmetto State.

The regulation initially said that faith-based foster and adoption groups could not discriminate against families who wanted to adopt but did not adhere to the agency's beliefs and still accept federal money to fund their operations. Those beliefs could mean that families of different religions or sexual orientations could be denied a chance to foster or adopt children if they went against private organization's beliefs.

In a statement released Wednesday, the ruling made by the Administration for Children and Families at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has granted the governor’s request. It says, in part:

The governor of South Carolina, Henry McMaster, asked ACF to grant the state an exception, highlighting discrimination against faith-based organizations arising from the December 2016 grants regulation, which became effective in January 2017. It is a well-established process under HHS regulations that states can request an exception. HHS's grants regulation establishes that any grantee can seek an exception (or deviation) from particular grant requirements, and sets forth a process for seeking such exceptions. "We have approved South Carolina's request to protect religious freedom and preserve high-quality foster care placement options for children," said Lynn Johnson, assistant secretary for ACF. "Faith-based organizations that provide foster care services not only perform a great service for their communities, they are exercising a legally-protected right to practice their faith through good works. Our federal agency should not – and, under the laws adopted by Congress, cannot – drive faith-motivated foster care providers out of the business of serving children without a compelling government interest, especially now that child welfare systems are stretched thin as a result of the opioid epidemic.

Gov. McMaster joined the fight against this policy when a Greenville faith-based center, Miracle Hill Ministries, whose requirement for Christians-only became a contested issue.

"I will never stop fighting for your religious freedom. The generous foster families at Miracle Hill Ministries make sacrifices to protect our vulnerable children, but the government cannot force them to sacrifice their faith. Will you stand with us?" McMaster wrote in February 2018.

In considering the request of the state of South Carolina, ACF consulted with department subject-matter experts including the Office for Civil Rights (OCR), to which HHS has delegated the responsibility to ensure compliance among its programs and its grantees with the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA). "This decision preserves all of the foster care agencies currently available for children in South Carolina by ensuring faith-based organizations can continue to serve this vulnerable population. It protects minors who are in need of as many options as possible for being placed in loving foster families," said Johnson. "The government should not be in the business of forcing foster care providers to close their doors because of their faith. Religious freedom is a fundamental human right." As before, all qualified persons interested in becoming certified foster care providers will continue to have multiple avenues for doing so within the state. Additionally, as a condition of the relief HHS provided the state of South Carolina, subrecipients of grant funds will continue to refer any potential foster care families not accepted into subrecipients' program to other placement agencies or to the state. "By granting this request to South Carolina, HHS is putting foster care capacity needs ahead of burdensome regulations that are in conflict with the law," said Johnson.

In response, the ACLU tweeted: "The Governor of South Carolina asked @HHSGov for permission to discriminate against prospective adoptive and foster families based on their religious beliefs — and HHS just granted it. Children who are waiting for loving and supportive homes deserve better than this."

Terry Schilling, executive director at American Principles Project, released the following statement applauding HHS for approving the exception for South Carolina faith-based foster care providers and urging further progress toward dismantling the discriminatory Obama-era regulation:

"Just nine days prior to President Trump's inauguration, the Obama administration implemented a discriminatory regulation that made it the policy of the federal government to viciously discriminate against faith-based foster care providers.

"Today, HHS took an important first step toward reversing that shameful policy by providing the state of South Carolina with an official exception to the regulation, allowing these charities the ability to continue serving poor children who desperately need homes without having to violate key tenets of their faith. It was like the intro to a sex offender version of "The Real World." It seems he's spent that year listening to right-wing media and stewing in his own bile. His December act was repulsive and cruel. It's not the product of self-reflection but incensed rage that he has been held mildly accountable for his actions.

Where do you start with such garbage? How about where he implicitly blames women -- you know, the people he victimized -- for the PC culture that he doubtless believes led to his downfall. In the minds of men like C.K., it is always nagging women, or emasculated men, telling them what they can or can't say.

"I was kind of excited to be in my 50s and see people in their 20s and be like, 'You're crazy! these kids are nuts,' but they're not! They're fuckin' like 'Nyeaah.' They're just boring. No, he's callously attempting to monetize the suffering and struggles of others.
C.K. doesn't drop the mic after mocking children. He has more cruelty to spread. He goes after marginalized people who have the audacity to believe they deserve respect.

It has become a feeding frenzy of bizarre claims, blatant lies and lunatics! An ungodly person focuses on any negative aspect of a person's life to destroy them, while deliberately overlooking the thousands of positive things and admirable accomplishments of the same individual. Thankfully, when God judges each Christian, He is going to look at the whole life, the big picture, and not just the few sins or mistakes that the person made. Praise God for His fairness. 1st Peter 4:17, “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?” Far too many people place them self in the position of judge, jury and executioner, which is NO ONE'S right to do concerning sin, except God alone (James 4:12).

I refuse to live without love, I must have it! I cannot live without loving everyone. It matters not if people love me back, and most don't, but I have a need to express God's love for every creature! The apostle Paul said that the more he loved others, the less he was loved in return. 2nd Corinthians 12:15, “And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved.” I became a lonely man long ago, loving others beyond their capacity to reciprocate that love. I wouldn't have it any other way! I would 10,000 times rather love people, than not love others with God's unconditional love. Who am I that a King should bleed and die for? People can be difficult to love, but at the end of the day, as a redeemed child of God, my conscience as a Christian will not allow for anything else than forgiveness and love. I choose to let things go, and forgive, and love, and let every day be a new day, looking ahead in the Lord. I sometimes have to block people out, because they are too negative in their e-mails, attacking me with their hateful words, but I love them anyway in the Lord. If God can love a woeful sinner like me, then I can love others as God commands me to do (Matthew 22:39).

This doesn't mean that I don't contend for the faith, which is a necessity, but I love those whom I refute, sincerely. ...

Ephesians 4:15, “But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.”

Galatians 4:16, “Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?”

Anytime you tell THE TRUTH, you will make enemies. Telling the truth sometimes splits a church! For that very reason, and this is tragic, many churches and pastors in today's apostate generation refrain from telling the truth, lest they risk a church split. Ladies and gentlemen, the Lord Jesus Christ Himself warned that NO MAN can serve God and mammon (Luke 16:13). The Bible tells us that many of the chief rulers believed on the Lord (meaning they got saved), but they did not confess Him, because they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God (John 12:42-43).

There has never been a man greater than John the Baptist (Matthew 11:11), because John prepared the way for the coming of THE GREATEST of all, the blessed Lamb of God (John 1:29). John lived out in the wilderness, not dependant upon people for his food, clothing and necessities. Therefore, John could preach the truth without worry over how he would survive. God only knows how many preachers have been starved out by an angry pulpit committee in a church. In his youth, Pastor Jack Hyles didn't receive a salary for eight week, because the bigshots in the church were trying to starve him out. ...

In 1945, Brother Hyles became the pastor at the Grange Hall Baptist Church in Marshall, Texas. They didn't pay him for the first 8-weeks, and when he did get paid, his salary was $20 a week. In his sermon titled “Good Ol' God,” Dr. Hyles says that during those 8-weeks that the church deacons refused to pay him, he bought a push-lawnmower and cut the grass of church members for $1 to $2 to keep food on the table. He faithfully pastored that church and walked with God. Oh, how we need to get back to old-time Christianity in our churches today.

I also decided as a young preacher that I would tell the truth, even if it offends people and costs me fake friends. As Dr. Hyles says, there's no such thing as losing a “friend.” It is not the preacher's duty to make friends and influence people, but to speak THE TRUTH!

Politics of the Alexandria Library

The Scripture informs us that one of the sons of Japhet, the son of Noah, was called Javan Gen. 10:2. He was the founder of the Greek nation. Greece in ancient time was known to have descended from Javan. It was Phillip of Macedonia who united the scattering Greek states. He was assassinated in 336 BC'S and consequently, his son, Alexander, ascended the throne and eventually became the star general of the world. In 332 BC during his campaign in North Africa, he founded the city of Alexandria.9 For over a thousand years, Alexandria remained the capital of Egypt.10 It was one of the most prosperous cities of the ancient world. Its prosperity included learning. Alexandria harboured the largest library in antiquity." Alexandrian library might have harboured information such that could have frustrated the birth of evolutionism. There was some wealth of information stacked in that library that could have answered some puzzling questions, especially issues that relate to creation and religion.

The great library preserved more than 700,000 books of antiquity. Goodasave reports that there were two "royal libraries" that boasted of those collections: one was named Serapeum containing 300,000 volumes, while the other, Bruchion, housed 400,000 volumes.'2 The library had quite a lot to offer the ancient world as observed by Goodasave:

The Alexandrian Library was also a research institute and a university that had full facilities teaching mathematics, science, literature, philosophy and medicine. There was an astronomical observatory, a chemical laboratory, a botanical and zoological garden and500-bed hospital with a huge surgical theatre for operations and dissection.

History informs us that this wealth of knowledge was destroyed. The library was established by Ptolemy I Soler. After him, his son, Ptolemy II Philadelphus assembled more books to beef up the collections.14 Unfortunately, the Alexandrian Library with all its custody of ancient and rare history, was destroyed. The destruction was politically motivated. The dragon, in history, was successful in using politics to suppress truth. Truth can be suppressed but not destroyed.

In 47 BC, during Julius Caesars campaign against the followers of Emperor Pompey, the fire that was set to destroy the Egyptian warships spread through the library. About 40,000 books were destroyed in that fire outbreak. Emperor Lucius Domitius, in AD 272 ordered the burning of the Library. In AD 391, Emperor Theodosius also burned the Library. Finally, it was destroyed by militant Muslims in AD 640 under the Caliph Umarl.

The systematic destruction of the Alexandrian Library is an indication that there must have been some invaluable documents that could have substantiated truth as revealed in the Holy Scriptures. Such truth as the creation of the world and the Biblical deluge; and the division in languages that encouraged the post-deluge race to scatter over the face of the earth, must have attracted the wrath of the dragon. The truth of the matter is that the Renaissance of the 13th century AD, was not really the birth of learning. Men and women of antiquity believed in the divinity, although the dragon corrupted their understanding of God's real nature.

Unconsccrated politicians became powerful tools in the hand of Satan. Julius Caesar was a pagan. The civil war between him and emperor Pompey's loyalists led to the burning of over 40,000 books in the Library. Emperor Lucius Domitius was an idol worshipper, a tool in the hand of evil spirits. He burned the library in AD 272; likewise, Emperor Theodosius I—a pagan king. In AD 391, he ordered for the destruction of the library. What the dragon could not accomplish through religious manipulations, he employed the political powers of the state. In the name of religion in AD 640, the caliph Umar I led militant Muslims to wipe out from Alexandria whatever had been spared of the library. Thousands of years of scholarship were thus buried in the dust bin of history through political and religious maneuverings.

The Word of God, the Holy Scripture, is also one of the books of antiquity reaching the present generation. At about 1500 BC, Moses wrote the Pentateuch (the five books of Moses). The power of God protected and preserved the scriptures. The discovery of the Dead Sea scrolls of the scriptures has demonstrated the protective care of God over the holy scrolls. The scrolls were located at Qumran in a monastic ruin probably belonging to the Essenes sect.

Notwithstanding the efforts made by the dragon to frustrate some knowledge harboured by the Alexandrian library, the Word of God remains intact, protected by holy angels. There were other attempts made by the dragon, through political instigations, to monitor and frustrate the first advent of the Messiah.

Same-sex marriage should not be a thing. Marriage is a constitution that should be exclusive to healthy non-life threatening heterosexual non-pedophile relationships. To a certain point, marriage is about procreation and child-rearing, but it does not necessarily have to be about procreation and child-rearing. Marriage is about the recognition or consecration of a healthy romantic relationship, or it at least it should be. Therefore, homosexual couples should not have the right to be recognized or consecrated through marriage.

Homosexual couples do not love each other, and are sick unions. Their relationship is a behavior deviant of the laws of nature, and of God. They are sick relationships whose 'love' is very alike a mental-disease, except it is actually an evil choice or result of wicked confusion. Governments should not recognize through marriage sick deviant relationships as if they were normal relationships, or even a form of love. The state must not embrace evil or immorality, but discourage it. By recognizing sick unions though same-sex marriage, the government is encouraging immorality.

Like Confucius said "Societies will achieve social and civil harmony only when individuals achieve moral harmony within themselves." Hence, encouragement of immorality and sickness will do naught but harm society, and threaten the harmony tying everything together. Same-sex marriage is alike allowing psychopaths to become doctors, or allowing a man to marry his own mother. It is not the recognition or consecration of a normal loving union, but the recognition or consecration of sickness as normality, and evil as good.

Homosexuality is a condition which is known to be exceedingly harmful, or at least this is what facts have shown. Studies have proven homosexuality to be a behavior which reduces the lifespan by 20 years precious years. This reduction in the lifespan of gays is not due to stigmatization since the studies were done in countries where opposition to homosexuality was basically none. Religious and ethnic groups which suffer from genuine discrimination ( I'm not talking about the ones who suffer from discrimination so severe so as to be killed due to what their country considers a crime, but about the ones who get beaten or prevented from getting good jobs due to what their country considers a crime) in other countries do not suffer from this appalling state.

Studies has also proven that homosexuality is a condition which increases risk of many deadly cancers, breast cancer among them. Some say this condition is because of gay's tendency towards unhealthy society-disapproved behaviors or states (smoking, drinking alcohol,...). But in all of the studies which revealed this execrable fact, heterosexuals engaged more often in unhealthy society-disapproved behaviors and suffered more of society disapproved conditions than did gays, leaving no other factor to be held accountable for gay's increased risk of cancer other than homosexuality.

There are plenty of other sicknesses caused by specious homosexuality, but due to their sheer number only this number shall be covered. Thus, the government or any other organization should not consecrate homosexuality through same-sex marriage, for it is a dangerous condition that should be discouraged not encouraged or considered equal to heterosexuality.

Homosexuality is no different from incest, both being sins against God, and medically unhealthy (homosexuality is also similar to zoophilia and other sick romances, but since most people are tremendously ignorant as to why they are similar; they shall not be discussed here for the sake of brevity). The consecration and embracement of one sick romance through the ceremony of marriage means that the other sick romance has an equivalent right to be consecrated and embraced through marriage.

Now, the fact that sick relationships should not be married does not mean that infertile couples should be prevented from marrying. Though infertile couples suffer from the sickness of barrenness, their sickness is not detrimental to the nature of the relationship or should it be an obstacle to marriage. Regardless of their inability to reproduce, their relationship is normal, not a relationship deviant to the laws of nature (opposites attract) or to the laws of God. The sexual acts committed by an infertile heterosexual couple pose no threat to their lives, and in no way are a cause of sickness. They are fully capacitated for child-rearing, and can efficiently bring up kids. Therefore, infertile couples have a complete right to be married, for they fulfill the essential requirements of marriage, and have the capability to satisfy all the optional wants of wedlock. They have the right to be married for their love is love, not sickness.

Marriage equality is a good thing, but this should not include equality among completely unequal relationships. Marriage equality should never include sick harmful relationships; marriage equality should only be for healthy heterosexual relationships. A fish should not have be treated like a cow. Unfortunately, marriage is not anymore what it actually is, the consecration of heterosexual relationships. As people became more detached from reality, and intertwined with immorality; the meaning of marriage and love has been lost. This ignorance has led many to belief in the myth that homosexuals couples can raise kids as efficiently as straight couples even though many recent and non-recent studies has said otherwise. Some in their ignorance has argued that the non-recent studies are wrong for they do not cover the well being of children raised in same-sex married couples. But, this train of thought ignores the results of recent studies which has covered random large samples of children raised in same-sex married relationships. One of these studies being the study done by Mr. Sullins (2015).

In their dark ignorance many have come to compare the performance of same-sex couples in the process of child rearing to that of single parents, even though children in same-sex couples fare worse. Homosexuality is not an inborn condition, and it is harmful. Thus, it is not a cause for special rights.

A politician in India is getting criticism after referring to her opponent as “worse than a transgender person.”

Sadhana Singh, who represents Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the regional Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, made the comments at a rally on December 19.

The elected politician had taken aim at Kumari Mayawati, the head of the rival Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), for entering an anti-BJP pact in the region with the Samajwadi Party (SP).

According to the Mumbai Mirror, Sadhana said: “Former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mayawati sold her dignity for power and joined hands with those who disrespected her… She is a blot on womankind.

“Cannot say if she can be counted among men or women, she is worse than a transgender person.”

The comments alluded to a 1995 violent incident in which BSP chief Mayawati was briefly held hostage by SP supporters.
Sadhana Singh criticised by India political leaders

The remarks led to a wave of criticism, with the National Commission for Women demanding an explanation from the politician.

BSP leader Satish Chandra Mishra said that it shows “the level BJP has sunk to,” adding: “They do not have strength to win even a single seat in Uttar Pradesh.”

SP leader Akhilesh Yadav said: “These kind of derogatory comments are grossly unacceptable.

“It is a sign of BJP’s moral bankruptcy and desperation. This is also an insult to the women of the country.”

Sadhana Singh told News18 that she does not regret the comments, again accusing Mayawati of letting down “all women” by working with the SP.

However, she added in a statement: “My intention was not to insult anyone… I apologise if my words have caused grief to anyone.”

Outcry as wombat in ad mistaken for a pig

PETALING JAYA • Do you know what a wombat is? Some Malaysians apparently do not, according to The Star daily yesterday.

It said Kuala Lumpur City Hall had to temporarily remove an advertisement from an electronic billboard at Bukit Bintang because some people had mistaken a wombat featured in it for a pig.

There was an outcry on social media after a screenshot of the animal in a traditional Malay outfit went viral. A message accompanying the screenshot said it featured a "pig wearing a songkok and baju Melayu while accompanied by a Selamat Hari Raya greeting".

Agreeing that the animal featured was a wombat, Mayor Ahmad Phesal Talib said: "An irresponsible person perceived it as a pig and spread false rumours on the Internet which led to the public misconception."

The advertisement was placed by Servcorp, an Australia-based company offering serviced offices in the region, which uses a wombat in suit called "Sidney" as its mascot.

Sidney has been touted by the company as the "world's wisest wombat", and it even has its own Facebook page as well as website.

The company yesterday issued an apology on its Facebook page for "any confusion caused".

"It would seem some people mistook the wombat for a pig and during the holy month of Ramadan, this might lead to some sensitivities," the statement said.

The company added that it had no intention to offend any race or religion although it noted that there were no prior issues with the use of its mascot anywhere else in the world, including in the Middle East.

Pork is considered haram, or forbidden, by the Muslims, who form about 60 per cent of Malaysia's population.

Native to Australia, wombats are marsupials, like kangaroos, wallabies and koalas.
