The Fllod is not a myth, scientific evidence or not. God could have erased all the scientific evidence if He wanted to, because He is God!

God must have erased the evidence of the Flood, so the only place we could find out about it is in the Bible.

[After being told that would make God a deceiver who made believing in the Bible difficult on purpose]

God does not want anyone to go to hell, but that's beside the point. I don't know why God erased the evidence, but He did. Maybe He wanted us to believe on faith instead of trying to come up with proof of what happened.

Quote# 520

God did not erase the evidence, God simply jumbled it up with a pole shift at the time of Babel.
Everyone seems to want to ignore what happened at Babel. Why?
To frightened to think of the earth actually turning over?
Because it might happen again, like the Bible indicates?

[Let's go back to the golden age of spirit theories of disease and sacrificing virgins to volcanoes!]

The IDers are quite correct, naturalism adds nothing to science, makes no specific predictions, generates no theories, contributes nothing to method. It is so devoid of scientific content that it doesn't even make sense to call it a 'science-stopper.' Its simply irrelevant. It does serve well for what I call an 'intellectual cudgel.' We can use it to browbeat recalcitrant religionists over the head with.

Technology is nothing more than an attempt to make our lives easier (a distraction from work) and all science (save the medical field) is nothing more than an attempt to explain what God has done (a distraction from just saying 'thank you' and going on with your worship).

[Solid advice on when you have doubts of Christianity being true!]

Lucifer questioned God's authority.
That's how he became Satan.

Nothing wrong with seeking truth.
There is much wrong with doubting it.

[The definitive disproof of aliens!]

And once more as a remider, read Genesis 1. God created the earth first and then the heavens and then the sun, moon and stars. This is important. The universe as we see it was not even made until God formed the earth.

There are no other beings besides angels, animals and humans.

What is the use of arguing about if God would exist if the Bible was false? God exists, and the Bible is true. There is no reason to consider non-reality - God is a reality.

How do I know the Bible is true? That's a whole 'nother topic, but in short ... 'I believe, therefore I know.' It is true.... and it can't be proven wrong, and never has, and never will.

Since neither of us are moving anywhere, I'm withdrawing myself from the issue. I used to keep arguing, but it never got anywhere

All objects whose creation has been observed have been man-made, and require design and intelligence. Even a ball of mud requires design and intelligence. We've never observed something being made without design, intelligence, or method."

"It's pretty much a fact that if you ask anybody if they like grapes with seeds or grapes with no seeds better, they will say grapes with no seeds. The way grapes produce is by using feces as fertilizer to spread their seed that is eaten, but if "early man" only ate seedless fruits as a preference (and he spit out all the seeds), how would fruits reproduce in the first place?"

"Humans wear clothes. Scientists are still trying to decipher at how clothes came to be. But the point is, we all wear clothes, but why? Because it's in our "genetic makeup" to wear clothes when it gets cold out? What about in tropical areas? Why not just move there and go naked? Even though people wear less there, they don't go naked. Man is shameful of his nakedness because he discovered it to be that way (Genesis). Also, if man developed his shamefulness of his nakedness over time, how would the species reproduce "millions of years ago", if a man was afraid to be naked in front of a woman?"

"The Creation was directly observed by Adam and Eve

[After being told Christians can accept science just fine]

In anyway, why should any Chrstian compromise his/her beliefs to make them fit into the 'scientific truth'? Didn't Christianity come first? When the Mayans were conqurered by los conquistadores, they integrated their religious beliefs into Catholicalism. As a result, their religion was basically destroyed. We see the similar happening right here.

Unbelieving parents do not have a covenant with God and are in his disfavor. Their children would not be under a "spiritual blanket" and would face the same punishment as their parents.

I think this idea is supported by the cleansing of Canaan. Joshua was commanded to kill every living thing, which included children and babies. Infants were considered unclean since they were members of a pagan culture that their parents participated. Israeli children were considered clean because they were part of God's chosen culture.

Sometimes God lets the righteous/innocent die or get hurt so that his punishments can come upon the wicked. If God were to not let the people on the plane die, the hijackers wouldn't have hijacked the plane and crahsed it etc. Thus God wouldn't have been able to send them to *hell because they didn't do anything bad.

What Christians are doing the exact same thing as what Islam teaches? Could you name one and if you do are they:

--advising people they must convert to Christianity or be put to death?

--advocating special labels for non-Christians like infidels, Crusaders or comparing people to pigs?

--advocating populating inside a country and then declaring their goal to take over the country as a Christian theocracy?
