Quote# 5521

Also, the ridiculous number of people who would inhabit earth these days if the universe was more than 6,000 years old... For example, the population of the United States has doubled over the last 50 or so years... At a rate of doubling every 50 years, the world would go from 2 people to 8 billion people... in a mere 1600 years!! Can you IMAGINE if man had been around for 2 million years? Or even half that? Or even half of half? It's unfathomable. Absolutely unfathomable.

Quote# 5522

The stay-at-home wife should do it. And since every wife should be a stay-at-home wife, every wife should do it... The woman's role is to keep the HOME. Not to earn money, not to make business deals; she is to keep the home. And if a job keeps her from so much as taking out the trash (so long as she is physically able), that job is disobedient to the Bible's instructions on marriage.

You shouldn't make the mistake of thinking that Biblical PRINCIPLES change over time. The Bible should not be tailored to conform to society. It doesn't matter what your spouse thinks your role is. It matters what GOD says your role is.

It still boggles my mind why someone is a Christian who doesn't believe in the inerrancy of the Bible, at least in its original manuscripts. It's incomprehensible. You need to get out of this seminary, now. Drop out. Don't even 'get your money's worth.'

When I was a teenager, I took all my secular music records and busted them up in my room with a hammer. Why, cause the lyrics were not of God, his thoughts, his desires, and promoted witch craft, perversion, and satan worship.

Isn't this what the atheists and secular humanist religions are doing? By taking God out of the schools you have to replace it with something else. So, instead of biblical truths we now have teachers telling us we were once apes a billion years ago. Your statement makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Actually, we do have the right to judge which lives to take away. The bible was quite clear to the jews of the O.T. what behaviors warranted the death penalty (as it were). I don't recall the practice of putting people to death going away with Christ's arrival here. He came to fullfill the law, not abolish it. Though we would have a population crisis if we put all of the adulterer's to death, that does not mean that if we chose to do so - that it would be unbiblical.

Quote# 5529

From my perspective, the two men are saying 'Look God, we have found a way to enjoy the excitement and pleasure you invented for men and women without the down-side of rug-rats consuming our time and spending our money'. I see the life style as selfish in the extreme in that it consumes for its own enrichment the entire product of its life and passes nothing on to the next generation because there is none... As for the argument that 'What people do in the privacy of their bedroom is not my business' -- this tries to create a see-no-evil zone based on visibility. But aren’t all crimes and sins hidden as much as possible? Thieves come in the dark of night -- not at high noon. In conclusion, I see homosexuality as a selfish escape from human maturity. It is unhealthy and a financial burden on the society in which it exists.

Quote# 5530

Correct [the boy killed by a Christian drunk driver goes to hell, while the latter goes to heaven]. However, you seem to forget that God is the One Who determines when a person will die, and if He allowed the young boy to die in that state, the implication is that he never would have changed in heart anyway. The man, though sinning by driving dangerously, is still saved for eternity, since in his heart he is willing to accept Jesus' offer of salvation. He does lose some rewards, though. Again, justice and mercy are maintained.

I will allow that he certainly did not deserve to die, but how many here know that [Matthew] Sheppard grabbed one of those guys on the a$$, and that he had tried to kiss the other?... Those rough-necks were so insulted that they led him on a bit, got him out of the place and into a venue that made him a bit more vulnerable, and proceeded to give perky Matty boy a little lesson in Wyoming manners... Was it bad? Yes, it really was. But they didn't want to kill him, and it wasn't like they chose him -- HE'D chosen his lifestyle and he'd chosen THEM. The Sheppard story is a masterpiece of leftist propaganda.

What's the matter arthur? Still tick you off that these red necks in Wyoming were better equipped to fend off some sick and twisted, disease-ridden, child molesting pervert [Matthew Sheppard] than all the little boys your ilk likes to intimidate, rape and torture? I suppose this is why homosexuals like coming onto children more than adults eh? Children can't fight back right?

What is practical is that many homosexuals use their homosexuality as a crutch to protect themselves from real emotional and spiritual problems. This isn't true for everyone, but for a large amount it is.
