God never answers a prayer that is against his will. If I pray that some hot guy would ring my doorbell today so I could have an affair (which I would never pray, but this is just an example) he wouldn't answer that because it would be bad for me. Similarly, if God was sending the hurricane to bring people closer to him, he would bring the storm with full severity no matter what we prayed. Perhaps he is able to achieve the same effect with the storm that he did/is sending.

There are generational curses. Homosexuality is one. These people are born with a genetic disposition for the same-sex lifestyle, just as a drug addict or alcoholic are born with. Demons come in and affect the human genes. When they say they were born that way, they are correct. And once they engage in that act, they open themselves up to that demon becoming active, then from that moment on, they have no choice in which way to be. The desire or pull into living that lifestyle, becomes so strong, that they cannot resist it. And even if they try, the result will be giving in or suicide.

The people who drifted into far northern climes became darker not because of the sun, but because of their exposure to wind and the reflection of the sun off snow fields. I have lived in West Texas and know that people can get windburn from long exposure to strong winds.

Definition of a "Theistic Evolutionist:"
1. One who believes in God but not in His word.
2. One who doesn't believe anything God said but believes He must exist because there is no possible way the universe could invent itself.
3. One who doesn't understand evolution or God, but who wants to go to Heaven without wasting his time reading the Bible.
4. One who believes in the goodness of God but couldn't recognize evil if he were drowning in it.
5. A self deluded person who believes truth and lies can co-exist.
6. A warm weather Christian who buckles under when others lie about creation, thinking that if those who are smarter than he believe it it must be true.
7. An agnostic who pretends to be a religious to impress his neighbors.

The only way to believe in both the Word of God and evolution is to have a firm understanding of neither.

Problem is, we've got two utterly false religions abroad in the world right now, i.e. I-slam and evolutionism.

Here's the difference:

A Christian can be an asshole, but he has to be in violation of the major tenets of his religion to do so.

An evolutionist has no system of religion or ethics other than what he makes up for himself. He can be an asshole or a saint at his own discression without fear of consequences. [...]

A slammite has to be in violation of the major tenets of HIS religion in order NOT to be an asshole.
