Quote# 9583

how could organisms complexity develop, without first having an organism to start with? Wouldn't that then mean an organism was dormant even before our earth supposedly broke away from one giant rock? And if this organism was dormant even before the big bang, how is it more believable to say that something existed, without anything to make it exist?

Yes, I do in fact suppose that the atheists believe my God exists, and simply ignore Him. Thus, that the person is an atheist is your premise, not mine. If atheists by definition do not believe that God exists, then I am asserting that atheists are not what they think they are. You have defined yourself, but you are incorrect in your definition.

What do you know about the gibbering, drooling village idiots who infest FSTDT like maggots on a turd? We've dealt with them for quite a while, and nothing can be said about them that is not completely believable. The combined IQ of that gang of imbeciles is numerically equally to the freezing point of hydrogen.

The title for this is wrong ... should read "Terri Shiavo's MURDERER Remarries." Not that it matters -- him [Michael] and her [Jodi] were live in lovers, shacking up, parenting children out of wedlock WHILE he was still legally married to Terri ... what's the big deal about a scrap of paper NOW?

One thing, that new wife better be watching her back , he doesn't have as good a track record with wives as he does with girlfriends.

['I've never read those books, but I have heard many a time that children raised by homosexual couples are very cool kids, definitely better than those raised by white trash parents who should not be allowed to breed. Most of those children are also heterosexual too, so there must not be too much "militant gay propaganda". Reminding me of propaganda, that's why I don't listen to James Dobson or FAUX News.']

Would some admin kindly BAN this turd from the toilet? It keeps floating to the top instead of properly flushing.

That evidence comes from scientest who are Trying to prove that evolution is true. Carbon dating is totally off, they're trying to date dino's that died in the flood, and prove that they're from a million years ago. Even though we all know that the earth is really about 5,000 years old.

Now you are making yourself sound stupid. Creationism was science until Darwin. It is the evolutionists that ahve set out to prove creationism wrong. THEY HAVE YET TO DO IT!!! Evolutionist claim to prove evolution but they can not disprove creation. Therefore how can Creationism be a movement to counter the effects of evolution??

As a fellow Christian I don't think it is appropriate that you even mention the name of another god, let alone say you like him, Arunma.
"Thou shalt have no other gods before me" … "for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God …"
I think you may evoke God's jealousy here Arunma. It's just my opinion, but I would not do that.

You know I used to think severe bad weather was due to God's judgement on countries. I used to think the countries that flooded a lot kind of were always non-Christan countires.

But I'm reading some new stuff where a comment by Pentagon a decade ago that they would own the weather. Nuclear and other undeground devices can set off tsunami tidal waves. Makes you wonder about all those other earthquakes. Texe Marrs examines the reaons why earth's weather seems to be going haywire. He asks 'Are new technologies secretly being used to manipulat extreme weather and use it as a miltiary and psycholgocial warfare tool agianst nations and peoples?"

I know it all sounds to far fetched, but it makes you wonder.

Quote# 9559

[Responding to: "It's been about a month since 7-year-old Nixmary Brown was brutally murdered by her mother's boyfriend, Cesar Rodriguez, in a small NY apartment. Police say she weighed a mere 36 pounds at the time of her death and showed signs of chronic severe abuse. Police also found a chair with rope tied to it, suggesting that Nixmary was often restrained, as well as evidence that she was forced to use a pet litterbox as the only means to relieve herself. Police say she was severely beaten and repeatedly held underwater in a bathtub before being dealt a severe blow to the head which finally caused her death.

For the many Christians who often say that God regularly helps them and has intervened in their lives when they needed it most, how do you reconcile what God has done for you with what he didn't do for Nixmary Brown? Why didn't he help an innocent child who desperately needed it?"]

How do you know he didn't help her?

[Response to someone talking about feelings and culture surrounding the context of a passage of scripture, in order to attain an alternative interpretation of it]

Depending on 'feelings' can be unreliable.
It can lead you here and there, depending on how manipulative a TV or movie script is.

After compiling many scriptures, this is what I think may happen
chronologically in the coming years.

1. Pope Benedictine may make a peace treaty between Syria and Jerusalem in 2007.
2. 3 1/2 years later, the Jews are going to building a Temple on the Temple Mount.
3. The Syrians are going to get Angry with the Pope for allowing the Jews that priviledge and will Destroy the Vatican.
4. Then they will go down to Jerusalem and Capture it for 3 1/2 more years.
5. Europe will attack the Syrians and the Moslem community and there will be a War.
6. The Comet Churyumov-Gerasimenko, which Rosetta will encounter in 2014, will be nocked off its Trajectory by the Landing of an American Lander will go around the SUN and come back and hit the Earth .
It will Land in the Mediterranean Sea and Destroy many nations.
And just before this happens, the Pope will flee to another country.
7. Christ will arrive and land on the Mount of Olives and take over Jerusalem.

[On the movie "Ice Age." No, it's not sarcasm.]

Yeah, and it proves man existed with Sabre Tooth Tigers and Mammoths and that animal trying to get the acorn was some prehistoric Squirrel or Raccoon. And with the animals trying to reunite the kid with his tribe it proves we lived with them doesn't it ? Weird huh ? I just love producing hard evidence for these born again evolutionists.

And for those of you who wonder why i refer to you like that, it's because your betting your soul on evolution so you must be born again evolutionists, see how clear it is?

the thing is, the atheists in this arguement don't like things that are unexplained. They want everything to be known and have a logical explanation to them. They just don't understand that everything doesn't happen naturally or as it should.

Yes, God does exist. I am a christian, and frankly I find it easier just to believe than to try and prove existance through science. If you're just like "Yeah, some entity made universe, the end, good game." It's alot easier on your mind and stuff.

[in response to retort of original argument, which was that we don't really know that 2+2=4, so a belief in god is equally justifiable]

You missed my point. You do not experience the number '4' as you do with the other senses. Yes, you can see two objects and another two objects that equal four, but it is not something you experience. That was my point.

An Atheist cannot smell, touch, taste, or see the beginning of the universe, thus they really have no idea whether a transient being exists, or not, despite all the overwhelming evidence makes the possibilty of current state of things in the universe being an "accident" or random like how If the elements in our atmosphere were even a few percentage points different, every living thing on earth would die. Are you kidding me, you ask me to believe that something that random to have occured? Sorry but I'll keep my transient being theory, though how irrational, it is far more rational right now than anything anybody has thought of.

I wonder how men can fight when the blood will be as high as the horses bridle? Wont that limit visibility and range of motion? Wont all that blood be diffiicult to walk/drive through? Maybe there will be some new technologies that allow for seeing and breathing while immersed in a huge pool of blood? yuck... what a mess...
