[There is no denying, Reverend, that God metes out his 'justice' with pain and suffering on a grand scale...]

just because God's acts are mighty and violent (in a holy sense of justice) does not mean either he or his law is to be looked down upon... in the same way that both the President, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Chief of Intelligence, the Supreme Court, etc. deal with matters on a much grander scale than your local Barney Fife.

So? Just because I've never had sex doesn't mean I don't know anything about it. I've learned a LOT from my friends and family. And reading Brad Henning's book. Oh, and uh, the Bible.

[Referring to the global flood which violently ended the lives of billions of men, women, children, kittens, and everything on the planet. 'Why are you still justifying mass murder?']

Isn't there a difference between mass murder and the simultaneous enactment of justice?

[On what circumstances South Dakota should allow an abortion to be performed}

BILL NAPOLI: A real-life description to me would be a rape victim, brutally raped, savaged. The girl was a virgin. She was religious. She planned on saving her virginity until she was married. She was brutalized and raped, sodomized as bad as you can possibly make it, and is impregnated. I mean, that girl could be so messed up, physically and psychologically, that carrying that child could very well threaten her life

Thinking about it, another change in a merged universe is gravity. There, -why would the distance between, or size of PO [Physical Only] objects matter? There are no PO objects! Matter is spiritual and physical. As evidence of this, we simply need to look to New Jerusalem. 1500 miles high and wide and long, and it comes down to earth! It doesn't smash into it!!!!! Floats like a butterfly, and lands in a world where bees sting no more!
Earth, as the center of the universe, with no gravity as we know it! Yet, people still walk those streets of gold! We can go flying off in space if we want, but it is ordered better than gravity. Now, let's apply that to the earth in the past, before the split! We, in our physical fallen state walked like normal, no problem. But not with gravity as we now have in a physical only world!!!!!!! Wow. This gets better all the time'
Now, let's knock off the old problem of how did they build the pyramids right away! If they were built in the still merged world in the century after the flood, (or some before as well) hey, no gravity as we now have!!! How about the canopy or rings?? Piece of cake!
And, for the piece de resistance, the continental sliding--No wonder it was easy!!!!!

[Implying its women's fault for being abused]

I don't blame anyone for being abused. Of course that's not your fault. But what I'm trying to say is that if you walk out into a street, you're at the risk of being hit by a car. It's not your fault you got hit by the car but I mean....you were in the middle of the street.

If you're married I don't think it would be rape...because technically you already consented to sleeping with him when you married him. But that's a different situation. If you are married and don't want to have sex with the person then why'd you marry them?

This past Saturday morning I found myself in a five-car caravan cutting across the Kansas plains with about 30 religious protesters. In the back of a truck, there were signs that read "Thank God for IED's" and "Thank God for Dead Soldiers."

a few Sunday's ago our pastor was recounting the story of Johhny Cashes' brother,Tommy, when he was dying in the hospital he was seeing on the other side. I have tried to hunt it down on the net, but so far no luck....so have to go by memory hear of what our pastor said. Tommy lay dying and told someone he was on a boat going down a river and headed for flames of fire....he cried out...'wait a minute! I am saved! I am not suppose to be going this way'..then his boat suddenly turned and he was headed the other way.

[If a woman in South Dakota is willing to risk undergoing an invasive, unsafe procedure in an illegal clinic, don't you think she might have a damn good reason?]

Breaking the law is never done with a "good reason." That's like saying that why else do murderers kill someone, if they don't have a good reason, would they put themselves at such risk for jailtime/capital punishment/etc.? If abortion were banned and made against the law, if the parents choose abortion, it was their CHOICE to break the law. Nobody's forcing them to break the law. There are many other options besides abortion.

An interesting case, very louche — fascinating and repellant. Fascinating because like Noam Chomsky he has the strange power effortlessly to command attention. Just possibly both men are descended from a line of simian carnival barkers, great apes who adventitiously found employment at a circus.

I would not be opposed to forcing men who have raped women to undergo a sex-change operation, complete with hormones, castration, the full nine yards.

I don't know what I would do with men who have raped other men (which I assume can happen), or women who have raped other women (which I believe has been performed with various and sundry instruments)--neither of which crime, no matter how despicable, would ever result in pregnancy.

Quote# 9978

What we are seeing with the Harry Potter movies and books is a seduction of young people into the world of magic and evil by dark seducing spirits. What do seducing spirits do? They seduce--and they are very good at it. It's the same with the Harry Potter magic as it is with pornography and drugs and Halloween, the so-called "Innocent" demon celebration. What seducing spirits do is start with pretend innocence--"oh, it's just a little harmless magic;" or "it's just soft-porn;" or "it's just a little weed;" or "Halloween is just an innocent holiday." Once they get people on the hook, then they draw them deeper and deeper into the seduction of spiritual darkness. From what I've heard, the latest Harry Potter movie was the darkest one yet. For Christians, participating in these things is like throwing "just a little incense" on the altars of these idols...It may seem innocent, but innocent-looking demons are still deadly demons

God started out as a spirit floating in the black emptiness of space. It must have been very lonely. I asked him once that if his spiritual being could be seen, how big it would be. He told me that if I could see his spiritual being, it would be about the size of the sun.
