I guess, at that point, I would be awfully sorry that I wasted all of my time on Earth seeking a Being who was just a mere man, even though He raised from the dead a corpse stiff for four days, fed 5,000 people from only two fish and five loaves of bread and still ended up with enough extra food to fill 12 baskets full, transmaterialized an entire boat with it's crew while on the Sea of Galilee to it's western shore, etc., etc., etc. Who but a Divine Being could perform such feats? I'll trust Him beyond death's door to show up on the Throne of Glory and not Islam's Allah, and I will do it for those aforementioned reasons and many other personal ones that I will always treasure up in my heart.

Now hold on just a minute. Just from the quotes I can tell the people on there (at least some, I haven't even looked at the site) obviously know very little about Scripture and context.

The book of Proverbs uses a lot of poetic structure, for example:

Proverbs 20:17
Food gained by fraud tastes sweet to a man, but he ends up with a mouth full of gravel.

Anyone should be able to discern that this is poetic, not literal. Its meaning should be obvious.

Now about dinosaurs, a large sea creature called 'Leviathan' in the Bible is mentioned (this could be something like a plesiosaur) and an enormous land dwelling creature is mentioned as 'Behemoth' and its legs are described as Cedars (the tree. this could be any number of large dinosaurs for which we've found fossils). THAT'S how they have found mention of dinosaurs in Scripture, not making ridiculous extensions of metaphors into literal meanings.

I wanted to say THANK YOU for Sky Angel. We were with you for over four years, and then a friend told us about another satellite network that picked up Angel One and TBN. She deterred me because she said 'Oh, it has the History Channel, things about animals, and so much more on it, that you'll never miss Sky Angel'...

Well, we tried the other satellite company for six months and we saw a major change in our seven-year-old son. He was more hyper and picked up a lot of words and sayings that we did not like from the so-called 'family friendly' channels. And he only watched TV for an hour a day (if that)! I couldn't believe the TRASH that was on there, and many of the channels were blocked.

(Some of) the things they offered were good, yes, but WE CAN GET ALL OF THAT ON SKY ANGEL!! History like dinosaurs in the Bible, biographies of people. The Critter Gitters is an AWESOME animal show, Discovery Jones. And we LOVE the science programs--Enoch! Oh my goodness!! And the list goes on.

Since our move back to you two months ago our son is back to normal. He doesn't imitate the 'kid stars' on the other channels, or mouth off with what some of the cartoon characters say. He imitates things he sees on Sky Angel...especially Discovery Jones.

No, we don't keep our son in a bubble. We show him the REAL THINGS of life. He sees the evening news, he reads the headlines in the papers, and he sees the price of sin people pay. We are your average American family. We love to have backyard cookouts, love water parks, enjoy a good movie. We can be found in our backyard giving the dog a bath, or at a hockey game screaming at the top of our lungs for our favorite team. So, for those who think Sky Angel is for boring people, you're wrong. :o) It's great! And we have grown tremendously from it!

If I were to say anything, my statement would ditto the old saying, "Garbage in.... Garbage out"

THANK YOU! I completely agree! It makes me SO mad that irresponsible girls have premarital sex and get pregnant, and then just rely on abortion. THIS IS EXACTLY WHY GOD WANTS US TO WAIT UNTIL MARRIAGE TO HAVE SEX! It's so sad what the world is coming to. As far as rape goes, I KNOW that's hard, but I still think abortion is wrong because God did this for a REASON and He can help you through anything. You should only kill a baby if you're gonna eat it, really. Because what else is there -- you should -- I'm mean, I'm not saying you're gonna eat a baby, but y'know what I'm trying to say?

couple stories here to clear what i mean ( got more if u want );

last year, i was depressed, i used to listen lots of hardcore music ( meaning not christian; ex: slipknot ) as I was listening to this band I was looking at my wall ( no clue why lol ) and I saw a shadow passing on it.
I got scared and whent to take a shower .. after getting undressed, I started choking and looked at myself in the mirror and and their was a red mark all over my neck. The bathroom started to feel crowed, and like if I was getting pushed.

A other story; very intressting
this is recently, this summer.
I was with a bud of mine ( not doing so great in his spiritual life ) and we were helping a friend at her job, I started feeling cold and weird ( i usaly feel like this when I feel or see demons ) I tell my friend, and then I saw a man standing in the window for a split second & i tell my friend, the big touch guy as he is ( loll ) goes and checks it out, and he opens the door and gets kocked down, and the door slams, I go check him out and we turned our heads and the door behind ( witch hade a key in it ) started turning like crazy, for the rest of the night we were scared, and he slept over, we slept on the sofa ( very weird btw lol ) and while i was on my computer he was watching tv and he turned his head and saw 2 demons beside me ) so wtv, nite goes on, we go to sleep, and I hade the feelings that this will continue and we will see angels. we decided to go in my bed ( very weird once again lol ) and while he goes on my bed he takes a look outside and sees a kid growning in my pool he freaked out, so try to sleep, and we started to hear like bells or trompettes and everything became so calm and emotional, we started like crying tears of joy, it was crazy. and the next day, he saw the kid that was growning in my pool at a park.

A other quick story.
bud of mine and I were listening to some hardcore music.
And you know how in windows media player you have a colored display, a demon appared in that, no jokes, there was a face of a demon ( looked like pictures of satan ) distrubing.....

Anyways, I just wanted to take the time and tell you guys this storys and if you guys need prayers for these kids of struggles, let me know.
