The ethic of conservation is the explicit abnegation of man's dominion over the Earth. The lower species are here for our use. God said so: Go forth, be fruitful, multiply, and rape the planet -- it's yours. That's our job: drilling, mining and stripping. Sweaters are the anti-Biblical view. Big gas-guzzling cars with phones and CD players and wet bars -- that's the Biblical view.

The first book of the series, entitled "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone", finds the orphan, Harry Potter, embarking into a new realm when he is taken to "Hogwart's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry." At this occult school, Harry Potter learns how to obtain and use witchcraft equipment. Harry also learns a new vocabulary, including words such as "Azkaban", "Circe", "Draco", "Erised", "Hermes", and "Slytherin"; all of which are names of real devils or demons. These are not characters of fiction! How serious is this? By reading these materials, many millions of young people are learning how to work with demon spirits. They are getting to know them by name. Vast numbers of children professing to be Christians are also filling their hearts and minds, while willingly ignorant parents look the other way.

It also doesn't speak of incest or bestiality much more neither?
Guess you want to make them legal and not a sin also!

Here’s my last word for the teenager: Nobody on the abstinence side of the sex spectrum is trying to keep you from having fun. We’re just trying to keep you alive so that when you meet the right person and get married you can have a healthy sex life with no regrets, diseases, infertility or untimely death, that’s all. And yes, it’s come down to that. The sexual revolution is over, and we all lost. In this, your day, my young friend, there is a very real pay day for buying the BS our sex-obsessed culture is selling you. This is the hand you’ve been dealt. Be afraid.

It is a good thing that people expose Animorphs for what it is. Even though the series ended 4 years ago, there is still a wide fan-base. Even after 4 years they still have a hold on me. Reading Animorphs once a month became a sort of religious ritual for me. Delusions filled my head and are still there to this day. I really believed they were real for a time and I could see them following me, judging me. I still have these delusions. It infringes on the love I have for Christ and all that Christ has done for me.

September 14, 2007 (RFE/RL) -- Since the creation of the Islamic republic in Iran in 1979, the acceptability of dog ownership has been debated by the authorities.

Iranian officials say that according to Islam, dogs are considered to be dirty animals, and people who own dogs are viewed as being under Western influence. Some conservative clerics have denounced dog ownership as "morally depraved" and say it should be banned.

Friday prayer leader Hojatoleslam Gholamreza Hassani, who is known for his hard-line stances, was quoted a few years ago as saying that all dog owners and their dogs should be arrested.

In the past, dog owners have received warnings or were forced to pay fines for having a pet dog. Despite such harassment, dog ownership has increased over the years, especially among young people in Tehran.

One of them is 23-year-old Banafshe, whose dog was recently detained in Tehran for 48 hours and then released on bail. Banafshe says she was walking her young puppy, Jessica, when Iranian police snatched the dog and took her to a dog "jail." The dog's crime was "walking in public."

Wacky- if most people are making the right decision, then why is it increasingly common for children to be born out of wedlock?

This is well known to be the #1 predictor that a child will be raised in poverty.

You are doing young people no favor if your fail to teach them to save themselves for marriage. We need to return to the time when there is a stigma against being an unwed mother.

We have managed to convince these girls not to have abortions, but they go get pregnant anyway, and think they can live like Madonna, when they haven't got her dough.

As a culture, we not only need to shame girls into not having children out of wedlock, we need to shame them out of having abortions and shame them out of acting like $lu+s in the first place.

More questions on evolution
By Letter to the editor from John Fisher- Cook, Minn.

In the The Scientist, Melissa Lee Phillips writes on recent genome mapping research:
"The genome of the sea anenome, one of the oldest living animal species on earth, shares a surprising degree of similarity with the genome of vertebrates, researchers report in this week's Science. The study found that these similarities were absent from fruit fly and nematode

genomes, contradicting the widely held belief that organisms become more complex through evolution. The findings suggest that the ancestral animal genome was quite complex , and fly and worm genomes lost some of that intricacy as they evolved."

In other words, the study found life started out very complex genetically and got less so as things "evolved". Evidence of the pervasiveness of the Darwinist religion in academic culture is the inability (due to fear, mainly) to spell out the implications of such findings.

How do you find it so hard to believe in the Bible? Why do you automatically assume that time differentiates things. One can believe that a handful of Spartans held off half of the Persian empire, yet not believe that Jesus cured the sick. One can believe that Achilles was a mighty warrior yet had a weak ankle, yet cannot believe that Noah had built an ark. One can believe Alexander the Great conquered almost the entire world in his twenties, but cannot believe the Earth was created by a God.

I neglected God this weekend..got out of my routine and was talking with Him about it this morning and He told me I need to spend my first fruits of the day(morning), my last fruits(bedtime) and He wants me to nourish my spiritual body at lunch time now(read the Bible) while I nourish my physical one. It is very easy to get oppressed by this world and culture we live in. God told me to I need to keep my self absorbed by Him...

Man is depraived! Completely depraived. Left to our own devices we seek our own needs even at the expense of others. What drives us to reach out and help others? Why do we give to the poor? There is certainly NOTHING Darwinian in helping others. It is by the grace of the Holy Spirit the we feel the twinge of our conscience (which is the Holy Spirit) helping us feel/express compassion, forgiveness, love.

SHAME ON YOU SISSY MEN (1 Corinthians 11:14)
Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? - 1 Corinthians 11:14

Do I need to say any more? One thing I would like to say is that Jesus did not have long hair at all! AMEN! AMEN!
The great Apostle Paul would have never said it was a shame if the Lord that he loved had long hair. You say, "Brother Johnny, I saw a picture of Jesus, and I want to be like Jesus." Well, dummy, if you want to be like Jesus, sell your car, walk everywhere, or perhaps ride a jackass. Like Paul, I say, if you like long hair, then "SHAME ON YOU!!"

(Regarding two gay men who wanted to share a bed at a hotel she works at:)

I'm just so into marriage....man/woman...faithfulness & Christ/the Bride & all of that....how His plan is so wonderful in this regard pertaining to even our own sexuality and child-bearing/parenting etc.

Truth be known, if it were my hotel, I would have turned those two men away who wanted one room, just as quickly as I would have turned away a man or woman involved in an affair.

I just feel strongly about the good God created.

Science is: testable, repeatable, observable.
now that you know what science is you tell me which of the two fit.
1. dogs birth dogs, fish birth fish, humans bith humans, ect.
or
2. dinosaurs birth birds, monkeys birth humans, ect.

You don't need to be brilliant to know that when your wife is pregnant she is going to have a human baby. Not even an atheist evolutionist is foolish enough to expect any thing else. Ask Dick Dawkins if he thinks a the hospital prepares for any other species to be born when a pregnant woman enters. It makes great speculative chat and sells books but in reality when the doctors go to work they don't think twice as to what comes from mom.

Humans giving birth to humans is a testable, repeatable, and observable fact of nature. so why make a theory up to say it happens any other way?

If the Sun were the center of the universe, then we would expect to see a difference in the speed of light through the ether depending on which side of the Sun the Earth was on. Since we see no difference in the speed of light at any time of year, we have to conclude that the Earth is at the center, not the Sun.

This puzzling fact was used by Einstein in his development of special relativity. SR is complex though, so Occam's Razor suggests that the better interpretation is that we are at the center. This does away with the need for SR.

There're so many deterministic sciences (and arts and trades) out there for students to learn, why would TE be taught or a student choses TE?

...

Why TE shouldn't be taught in high school:

1) TE doesn't lend to lab experiment
2) TE is tautology
3) TE is not causal
4) TE is not useful in real life
5) TE is amoral, or can lead to amorality (anything goes kind of mentality)
6) TE may reduce creativity
7) TE language is full of "could" "may"
8) Prerequisites: statistics and probabilities.
9) TE is contrary to every day observations (cat begets cats, cars are made, houses are built)

God first created the earth before he created the sun, moon, and stars. logically, the first thing that is created is naturally the center of the creation and everything else revolves around it. if the sun is the center of our galaxy, then God would have created the Earth and just have it stationary until the sun came into existence. he would have had to jump-start the earth's rotations and orbit once he created the sun. obviously, God could do this, but it doesn't make sense.

If we decended from Chimps or Apes or whatever else that they can come up with then why aren't there some of the same physical traits showing up? Why doesn't my cousin Tom not have a tail like a chimp? Why does my daughter not have a nose like an ape? Why does anybody NOT resemble the monkeys? Why isn't one person born with a body full of hair and have a protruding mouth and nose with arms to their feet? Why not just one human?
