I took my kid to see Enchanted yesterday and of course the ads for Golden Compass came on and my kid was like "oh cool". I explained to her why that movie is trash and she said "too bad" because the trailer looks cool. But she doesn't want to see a move that makes God out to be the bad guy.

Quote# 32744

Man labeled the animals, put them in classes, families, species, etc. Of course the apes look a little more similar to humans than other animals, but they are still animals. They are not humans. They are trainable like other animals, but that is all. Trying to compare animals and humans together is absurd, and so is the idea of saying we came from animals. Once again, those who do this truly have no love for God, they would rather worship the creation, rather than the creator. And then their are others who have just tried to fit in with the world and bought the worldy view of origins. The only common ancestry we have with apes, is we all come from the dust per the Bible.

I think the verses speaking of God frustrating the intelligence of the wise, is very appropriate here. Most of the people trying to push the evolutionary views are atheists who do not want to believe in God, and they will find anything and everything to justify to themselves that he does not exist. And evolution and the ape to man theory (hypothesis) is just the latest (since 1800's) idea they have been satisified with. Still doesn't change one iota that God will judge them for their wickedness when they take their last breath.

Quote# 32780

These are characteristics of African Americans. Do you recognize these characteristics?
Relationships
Black Men: You can't trust black women. Black women are mean, spiteful, and they use you. Women are only good for having babies and cooking. You have to slap a woman around every now and then. You have to love them and leave them. Black Women: all black men are dogs. Women must take charge and never let a man control them. I can't live without this man. He beats me, but he's a good man. Black Youth: My parents don't deserve obedience.

Morality and Character
Black Men: It's all right to have more than one woman. Drugs and alcohol are not that bad. The only thing that is important is what you do for yourself.
Black Women: You've got to sleep with a man in order to get him.
Black Youth: Everybody else is doing it and so can I. I will do whatever I want. I will hurt others before I hurt myself. I have to do whatever to look cool to my friends and I have to have sex to be accepted by my homeys.
Religion
Black Men: I am God. The Bible is the white man's religion. Islam is the black man's religion and the Masons are a good thing.
Black Women: Following my horoscope is all right to engage in and to use to find a mate. Eastern Star is a good thing. Islam is the black man's religion. The church is full of hypocrites. Christianity is a crutch for weak black folks. The Masons are a good thing. I go to church, but I need some stuff from the occult shop too.
Black Youth: There is no God.

Quote# 32774

WATCHERS is a term used by the occult, whether it be witches, satanists, or whatever. It is usually a picture or similar object that has one or more eyes on it. It is stuck or hung some place to act as a spy. For instance, someone hangs it on your house, or your church, or your office, or on a corner. Look at it like a hidden camera and microphone. The person comes back later to the WATCHER, and the demon in it tells the person all that it SAW and heard.

This may sound like science fiction, but you DIDN'T think you had demons living inside you either.

A Prophet friend of mine just told me that she saw four stars in the sky that were very strange looking, and were NORTH - EAST - SOUTH - WEST. She asked the Lord what they were, and He told her "they are WATCHERS".

Something big appears to be going on in the spirit world, and we need to be doing some extra Warfare against WATCHERS.

Quote# 32761

There are four main religions in this country that are engaged in a holy war against Christianity. The number one religion, The Abortion Charismatics. The abortion religion in truth has as its foundation the worshipping of anti-submission to men. These death Stalinists use accusations of oppression as their guardian while marching on, putting the sword to the enemy, the trespassing fetus. Conversly, The Bible advises us to choose life and states that those who side with death are with the devil.

Religion number two, The Orthodox Homosexuals. The homosexual hit squad, they worship immoral sex and preach its acceptance with a formidable vigor. The religion of orgasms, just as long as you partake with someone of the same gender.

Religion number three, The Pentecostal Environmentalists. They worship myths and have as their god mother nature. This includes the global warming cash cow. They worship animals, the same animals God instructed us to subdue in Genesis. They worship the earth, the same earth God advises us in the Bible not to love due to the fact that it is fallen and ruled by Satan.

And the forth religion, The United Church of Envy. The religion of envy has as its decree welfare, social programs of all kinds, and higher taxes. It wishes to crucify anyone who is successful. The wealth of others is condemned. They fiercely seek conversion, not conversion of souls...conversion of other people?s money - to themselves. This faction is represented by Poverty Pastors from all status levels in society.

The Mega Church of Liberalism houses all these religions. They are extremely tolerant of any religion so long as its not that of the true God. Their enemy is not Satan as in Christianity, but their common enemy is in fact Christ. Hence the unity among the various religions.Their strategy is to incrementally replace Christianity with their false gods and religions of idolatry. At the same time they are attempting to diminish the credibility of God of the Bible and of Christianity.

Quote# 32778

As I was reading stories about the secularization of Christmas on WorldNetDaily, I got to wondering if the secularization was actually the paganization. Think about it. If you're secular, what reason is there to celebrate anything this time of year? Who would want to celebrate Winter with the snow and cold? I myself like Winter and prefer it to Summer, but I don't celebrate it. The only people I know of who celebrate Winter are the pagans: Witches/Wiccans, Druids, etc. Today they are celebrating the winter solstice. If this is true, wouldn't the "secularization" actually be as much a violation of the Constitution as they claim Christians publicly celebrating Jesus' birth is?

So all those dead animals and birds and fish layed there for millions, or billions of years while the layers covered them at a rate of 1/4in. every million years or so and they didn't decay, they just laid there till they were covered?

Now that's extrordanary science.

How did that work?

-----------------------------
(next post)

I seen it again the other day on the news, that man is 94% the same as Apes. They said man and Apes came from the same ancester because of it.

But does that really make it so?

A cloud is 96% water
A water mellon is 96% water
A jellie Fish is 96% water

Did they all come from the same ancester?

The other 4% makes a big diferance I would say, but science seems to not take the other 4% into account. IMO

In Response to Mike Huckabee's recent ad wishing everyone a Merry Christmas

Wyatt: Well, he went and did it. Mike Huckabee spent campaign money to wish everyone a "Merry Christmas" and acknowledge that this is the season where we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. I just saw Bill O'Reilley's show and he was getting trashed by the Dems (which is predictable) but then Ron Paul was also trashing him stating that this was the beginning of fascism (my interpretation). He actually said that fascism would come cloaked with the flag and a cross. So now it appears that we cannot discuss Christmas as a Christian celebration of the birth of Christ and even our public figures are going to be criticized for such a statement. The Democratic analyst said that this would hurt Huckabee in the general election. As for me, I am now leaning more toward Huckabee just because of this ad. And while I was looking at Ron Paul, that is now over.

Freed_From_Sin: AMEN! Preach it, Brother Huckabee!

It's about time we had a man of faith who isn't afraid to let everyone know where he stands. I imagine the secular media is going to make a fuss about him and in today's climate, I can't see a christian getting elected - but at least he took a stand.

CHRISTinCheryl: Hey, IF the LORD comes before the election, since the Rapture is Imminent, he wont be our Prez,.but we will see Mike in Heaven celebrating with us at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb!!
Come LORD and soon

Quote# 32743

Here we go again. You know that evolutionists don't even have the most basic answers for any of those questions. Nobody never saw a chicken come from an elephant and to say such is just retarded. Evolutionists basically have a neat little theory that contains a few facts (i.e. that there are different kinds), but ignores all the evidence for a young universe and a global flood.

Furthermore, how does something come from nothing? Case closed, we need to stop this nonsense funding of education is all it does is say this type of stuff. At my prayer group, I was told that there are countless creation scientists that are looking to prove that the world come to be the way the LORD said it, but they can't get the funding because the money always goes to the evolutionists. How scientific is that?

We have all the facts, we knew them at the beginning - and we find more and more facts that confirm the living truth. The stupid evolutionists start out by looking at facts without any idea what the outcome is - and that's how you get these weird evolution and big bang ideas. Basically, they want this theory so they can get rid of the LORD so that they can live out their life doing all their wicked sins

As far as intelligence goes, it's ridiculous to make a statement that women are smarter than men. In certain ways, women might have an advantage. In other ways, men may have an advantage. As far as making rational decisions and being less prone to deception, I think the men win hands down. Even the Bible refers to women being more easily deceived.

Oh, and about being outraged by the pledge: I am extremely conservative, as are the vast majority of people in my area of the Midwest. We listen to Rush Limbaugh, cut taxes, and we all voted for President Bush. This action is outrageous, and I can't imagine the U.S. without the pledge. You British people don't know what you're missing out on. And secondly, if it Unconstitutional to have the words, then it is Unconstitutional to take them out. Atheism is a form of religion, and I quite honestly believe that if you people have a problem with the words "Under God," then you can go form your own private schools where you can say whatever you want. Or, even better. Home school your children. We Christians do. But whatever you choose, leave us and the way we raise our children alone. Not all of us can afford to send our kids to private schools. Believe me, if we could, we would. So, we must do with the absolutely atrocious Public Schools, and we have to deal with you. But whatever you do, don't impose your beliefs on us. The country would be better off without you.

This notion of "expanding" marriage is dangerous. Think of it as restraining a serial killer. Today its "well lets just expand marriage to cover gays", in other words lets remove the handcuffs, at least we restrain him by the feet. Before long people will be making excuses to the let the serial killer, and they do. And then he kills everyone. Think about it. Where does it stop? someone answer me that.

Zags, I could have written this very same thing! I keep asking God what is wrong with me. I almost feel like I am being sifted. I am tired of watching the people and things of this world running around doing their own un-godly, self-centered evil stuff. I am tired of christians who need to "get real". I am tired of not having time to spend with the Lord praying & talking to Him, I am tired of praying for people and situations that haven't changed in years. I am tired of my friends & relatives thinking I am "too religious, too christian, always talking about Jesus". I am tired of trying to converse with people about things going on in this world & how it relates to prophecy & having them look at me like I have 2 heads. I am tired of work, tired of dealing with people, I am tired of not having a heart full of mercy, love & compassion because I feel like the world is choking it out. And I am just barely hanging on.... trying not to take my eyes off the prize and trying to run this race to the end.

You are further warned not to assume that, just because a people are non-violent, peace-pursuing, and lawful, that they are pacifists. The Scripture declares that the Christian who fails to provide for his own is worse than an unbeliever, I Timothy 5:8. Protection from physical harm is an integral part of provision, and the true, Biblical Christian stands ready to protect both his own household and other Christians, using any and every means at his disposal.
