Quote# 23807

They did come back with a fury, and they got all the new neighbors and the other satanist in town to back them up. They came around the house here honking their horns, and reving their engines, and even peeling out in front of our house, as well as the train whistles blowing signalling the neighbors to attack. They even had a few helicoptors do a few fly bys for an extra intimidation factor. so what I did was to multiply the hits I was taking into a grievious whirlwind of pain, according to Jeramiah's prophecy of Babylon, and each hit multiplied the entire package by three times the pain, and each person who participated in it was aflicted by the entire whirlwind of pain. By 5:00 P.M. They had all they could stand, and the train whistle blew, and everybody stood down. That was last night, and I haven't had one hit since. All glory to the Lord Jesus Christ who gives wisdom to His warriors, and defeats those who rise up against us.

They don't realize that intimidation, torture, and threats have the exact opposite effect on a Christian than it does to them. It was in the time of persecution that Christianity had it's most fervant growth in the first century. So great was it's growth, that by the third century Constatine had to legalize it for fear that it would take over the entire world. (despite what the history books wrote) The pagans determined that infiltration and pagan influence from the inside was the answer. Unfortunately they were right. Untill the next great battle

Has Anyone Seen Evolution?
Two questions immediately come to mind after evolutionists attempt to explain our world and we who live in it and ask questions about who we are and how we got here. First, who is this “evolution” person who did these things? Point him/her/it out to me.
When pushed, evolutionist would have to admit that no one has ever seen the invisible entity that has been named “evolution.” Is evolution like the Force of Star Wars that “surrounds us, penetrates us, and binds the galaxy together”?

Quote# 23826

The increasing occurences of this kind of terrible tragedy began when we kicked God out of classrooms across this nation. Our students have been taught to devalue life as we have murdered 40 million babies since 1973 with the passing of Roe v. Wade, and have taught our children that they came from monkeys and then we are amazed when they act like animals. Because some of our students don't really see an purpose beyond this life, and find no joy in much of the life they are living without God, these things will continue no matter how many man-made programs we put into the schools. How sad that parents in this generation have to be fearful when they send their children off to school wondering if they will ever see them again.

I can hear the heathen screaming, "Oh no, another religious freak blaming everything on liberalism or athesim, or evolution or whatever other system pushed God out of our schools." Truth won't change because people don't want to hear it. Evolution and abortion have created a mindset that robs our young people of hope that there is something worth living for on this planet and beyond this life.

I attended school when we opened each school day with prayer and could sing Christian songs in the classrooms. The major problems in our schools then were talking in the halls and chewing gum in class. The students called the teachers maam and sir with respect, and there were no racial wars, rape, murder, drug traffic, alcohol consumption, and other such things happening in our schools as are happening now. The students that came from that environment were very productive in whatever field of work they entered, and families were intact because that was the way people believed they should be. The idea of same sex marriage was shocking to people because they believed that heterosexual marriage was the norm and homosexuality was a perversion of God's purpose for sex. People could leave their homes and go on vacation leaving their doors unlocked because nobody was breaking into homes. Children could go out and stay out after dark and their parents knew they were safe. Sexually transmitted diseases were rare among adults and never heard of in children. Stores were closed on Sunday because most people attended a church of one denomination or another. Children spent their time playing outside because we didn't have all the horrible time-wasting devices children sit and play for countless hours every week. It was a better world, and one we should return to, but it is far fetched to believe we will ever recover from the fall this nation has taken.

Thre is only one hope for this nation, and that is the return of God to the schools, homes and the public arena. The lack of respect for the Bible and God in this generation is appalling and easily verifies what is written here. The people of this country will never return to God until we are on the verge of national collapse, and sadly we will institute more and more programs that will solve nothing and just be stop gap measures while this nation goes down the path to self-destruction.

(Regarding "militant" Christianity in the US)

I would love to see your proof of this. Please give us your proof. This is being spread around by the far left gay atheist extremists in the USA, but no one can find any proof of it whatsoever, and many people have done research on it. They are very angry at Christians because they are against gay marriage. This is nothing but pure politics. I seriously doubt you will ever find another group of Christians picking up their guns and going to war with anyone. It just isn't going to happen. If you do a search on google for "Christians domionists" and you sort through all of the gay websites accusing Christians of this, you will find a few Christian websites in there among them debunking everything they accuse Christians of and making them look like total fools. There is nothing to this but politics. And if there did happen to be a small group of people calling themselves Christians doing this type of thing, I am certain the FBI will take them down and an overwhelming majority of Christians in the USA will be standing behind them. Radical groups cannot grow unless the majority of people allow them to grow.

An example of how I know these far right Christian extremists do not exist in the US, unless it is a very small group, is when Bush was going to nominate Harriet Miers for one of our judges and the far rights would not except her nomination. The news stations went on and on about how religion Miers was, but the far rights were furious at Bush for wanting to nominate her b/c they didn't think she was qualified for the job. They were not worried about how religious she was, as almost all Americans could care less about their politicians' religion. They were only worried about her qualifications. This really put a damper on the far left extremists' propaganda.

It's hard to realize what is really going on in another country. The Christians in the USA have never fought one another or anyone else following any other religion and have always been very peaceful people. There are many Christians in the USA who are involved in politics. Separation of church and state was NOT meant for all Christians not to participate in politics as the far left extremists wants everyone to believe. They just want Christians to stay out of politics so they can further their agenda and this is exactly why they have started all of this ridiculous propaganda. From the beginning of this country, Christians were involved in politics. You can take the religion out of the government but you can't take the religious people out of politics. Christians are people, too, and they have just as much of a right to get involved in politics and worry about their country as anyone else does. In fact, it was an overwhelming majority of Christians who built this country, who wanted religious freedoms and fought and died to have religious freedom in this country.

It's not enough to these individuals to believe (or lack to believe as the case may be) what they hold to be true and leave it at that. They want to stop you and I from believing in what WE believe as well, especially if that belief is in the God of the Bible. [...]

Best-selling atheist authors Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris and Michael Onfray are the sort of men leading the charge for New Atheism, blindly spreading a new and far better-packaged version of a very old lie but with a new twist. It goes something like this: "There will be no punishment for a simple act of rebellion against God because THERE IS NO GOD and you are an absolute fool to think there is one![...]

While the proponents of New Atheism would never admit it, the majority of those I've encountered are not nearly as anti-theistic as they are anti-Christian in composition. Because I find this to be the case in almost every scenario I've faced since countering the Rational Response Squad's Blasphemy Challenge on YouTube.com, it isn't hard for me to believe that these individuals, having accepted an old lie of Satan's with a new twist, will readily believe another big lie and, ultimately, begin worshipping the Antichrist (as many will) as foretold in prophecy. And why shouldn't they? They presently think just like he will in the future! [...]

In 2nd Thessalonians 2:4, we see that the Antichrist to come is going to oppose and exalt himself above all that is called God or worshipped in order to show himself to be the god of this world. While I could be completely wrong in suspecting this, I believe there is a strong likelihood that those presently practicing New Atheism are going to love him and ask, "Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war against him?"

[You are invited to back that charge up - but you won't be able to do it - and thus you continue to bear false witness against me by accusing me of things i haven't done.]

You sound more like a secularist than any kind of a believer. The atheists are always demanding proof and never accept any proof that is offered. An atheist accuses a believer of being a false witness. A brother in Christ won't do that.

[you've lied continually. you've lied in this post. you've lied even after proof has been given to you that you have lied. frankly i don't know when to believe you.]

You show me that you are no follower of Christ. A fellow Christian would never accuse a brother in the Lord of lying.

[About "The God Who Wasn't There"]

I've not seen this movie nor will I see it. I'm not going to contribute my money to this movie, the director, or the producers. As far as I'm concerned when they are burning in Hell for eternity they will be wishing they never even made this movie. That is assuming they can think about anything other then the unimaginable amount of pain they will be feeling for again all eternity. Normally I wouldn't wish Hell on anyone but the most evil of people. But I wish Hell on Brian Flemming because even though he thinks he just sharing his views with the world he is getting people young and old to think their is no God which in effect is sending them to Hell. You can get on here and try to explain to me that there isn't a God try to give me all this proof and stuff but you'll just be wasting your time. I'm the most hard headed person when it comes to my religion. You can try and tell me to listen to what you call reason but I don't care about your pathetic atheist mindset. If you want to belive you evolved from apes be my guest but I believe we are better then that. If you want to believe something as stupid as all this life, this universe was created from the big bang your more stupid then any ape you believe you evolved from. I think Brian Flemming's and that *beep* who's trying to get kids to get on the internet and deny Jesus should be assasinated. What are two damned souls compared to hundreds of thousands or millions of souls that can be saved?

Why do people attack Christianity like that? Why do they distort the truth? Sure, Christianity has been used to do bad stuff in the past, but that is only because people can be bad. It's NOT the religion that's bad, it's the SOME of the people who follow it.

Religion does not kill people, people kill people.

There is no such thing as separation of church and state in the Constitution or any of its amendments. The first amendment prohibits only two things with regard to religion: 1) the establishment of an official national or (since the 14th amendment) state religion and; 2) any law that prohibits the free exercise of religion. In other words, government may not establish an official religion and may not, in any way, put restrictions on the free exercise of religion.

I also said that atheists who WRITE CHECKS TO THE ACLU are supporting an organization that supports and defends child rapists and murderers using sophistical arguments about what "free speech" is. As an atheist, you should denounce the ACLUE for that ALONE. Instead, we have endless pontificating on this board, IN THIS THREAD about the virtuous ACLU. What a bunch of bunk. The truth is ugly and it hurts, but debating with you or getting into some kind of gutter argument debate about what atheists believe will NOT change my opinion of atheists or their belief system that is built on sinking sand.

So as far as this ministry goes god promotes and you tow the line, like it or lump it thats how it is.
To ask for a right of vote on mod's is showing a lack of spiritaul authority and matuirty so why would one want to consider your request, that's in like, of the devil saying, Eve, have you considered this.

[NotOurKids.com, is a website designed for fundie parents to have resources to 'combat' the national Day of Silence, a student organized day of silence to reflect the violence committed against GBLT youth. Below is the 'sample letter' parents are encouraged to use to keep their kids out of school on that day:]

[Date]

Dear [_______________________________],

Due to the administration’s decision to allow the politicization of the learning environment through GLSEN’s (Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network) Day of Silence, we feel compelled to keep our child/children out of school on Wednesday, April 18, 2007.

The administration errs when it allows the learning environment to be disrupted and politicized by granting students permission to remain silent throughout an entire day. The homosexual Day of Silence’s protesters have a captive audience, many of whom disagree with and are made uncomfortable by the politicization of their classroom. How many political protests will the school allow, and who decides which political issue will be allowed to disrupt the educational process?

The Day of Silence participants have a First Amendment right to wear t-shirts, put up posters, and set up tables on which they provide their information. However, the Day of Silence participants go even further by usurping the classroom of every student in every class for an entire day in the service of their controversial philosophical and political purposes. Their silence, and in some cases, the silence of their teachers, transforms the activities and the learning environment of the entire school day.

Administrations must allow for appropriate ways for students to express their views while protecting the classroom from intrusive, political and morally controversial exploitation.

Allowing this disruptive Day of Silence protest to take place is completely unacceptable.

Respectfully,

[Your Name]

Only creationism can teach children morality
Addressing the concern for our youth:

Why is teenage suicide up? Why is teenage meth use up? Why are teenage pregnancies up?

I think we are teaching this stuff in our schools:

(1) By teaching the religion of evolution, we are telling our children that you are an accident and have little or no value.

(2) There is no purpose to life except to have fun and pass on your genes.

(3) There is no absolute right or wrong; in fact, there are no absolutes.

(4) Your presence here is a burden on the planet since you are one of the polluters and it would be better for the world if you died.

When we teach the religion of evolution in our schools, this is what we are telling our children because there is no real future. Since there is no way to tell right from wrong, survival of the fittest becomes a way of life. It is unthinkable that we would dare teach intelligent design and give eternal value to our children.

Maybe they (educators) will come up with a new program for morality like they did for fatherless children in the '50s, drugs in the '60s, HIV in the '80s, all of which was a miserable failure. Only creationism teaches morality.

Good luck, Mr. and Mrs. America
