Here's what I see as a big issue: A minority of people (Sodemites, and yes, that's what they are according to the Bible, hate crime law or not!) are trying to slowly take away the freedoms we've had for several hundred years. Whether people want to admitt it or not, these people have an agenda, and unfortunatly they find people willing to help them in our government it seems.
I haven't looked into this bill too deeply, but my pastor did read it from the pulpit and had a petition available for us to sign (and I signed it buddy, you better believe it!) and what he read gave me cause to worry. Even if, as you say, this bill doesn't prohibit us from condeming homosexuality, or preaching against it, That time is pressing ever closer, and that means we need to be on guard. (The Bible warns us to be vigilent against the devil because he's constantly looking to devour us...and the devil is DEFINATLY behind the Sodomite's agenda!)
This wicked sin NEEDS to be preached on with fervor in our day because it is running rampant. We must do what we can to protect our right to have preachers preach the Word without fear of imprisonment. Our forefathers fought for that, and we need to have enough guts to stand up for our freedom before it gets taken away from us.

What evidence is that? The evidence that not a single positive mutation that adds information to an organism has ever been discovered in nature or proved in a laboratory? Creationism is 100% science-based! There are over 10,000 practising scientists in the USA alone that believe in creation.

I would say many (most) Catholics are lost. Mainly because they have a works salvation....confession, communion, their form of baptisim, the sacraments, mass, eucharist....you CAN NOT be saved by works, or it's no longer grace.

No wonder the nuns got in a tizy. They don't have the truth and don't know how to respond to someone who does. They've been lied to, and taught that lie all their lives.

I read in one of your posts that you are Baptist in a Catholic school. Be careful. Stand for the truth and don't let their teachings get under your skin. At the worst they are heretics and at the best they are deceived. Hold fast the KJV and it's truths as your sole authority and you should be just fine.

I also believe the state should either pay for the education of all students, according to the parents wishes, or none of the students. I know this may mean that the state would pay for some students to be educated in error, but many would have the option to learn the truth. As it is now, in order for children to be taught the truth, their parents must pay for the education of their children twice.
