[We weren't made in the image of anything. We resemble apes because of the closeness of our DNA and the fact that we shared a common ancestor.]

We don't resemble apes, Maragon.

Tell that to a black man. He will sue you.

(From "Letter of refutation to an atheist")

What about the co-existence footprints in the riverbed in the Paluxy River near Glen Rose Texas? Man and dinosaur together? How can that be? It doesn’t fit into our theory of evolution! Even more footprints in the Paluxy riverbed - giants in the land! Gee, genesis talks about this, but we don’t believe it so we will close our eyes and hope it goes away.

This is a response to someone's post about the new conservative French president invading Syria. His "Biblical" solution is astounding.

Syria, unfortunately, can never be “liberated”.

They have the government they want and if you take it out they will simply replace it with another one just like it, or worse.

The only way you can liberate syria is to extinguish all life in it and move people in who do not have cultural roots to the land.

I look back in the old testament where God ordered the Israelites wipe out every living thing in the land they moved into.

Seems there was a good reason.

Ok I really don't know where to start. This topic has me really thinking about why all of the non religious people even go in the forum which clearly states RELIGION. If you are so set on your belief of a nonGod why even read anything in this forum? And as it has always been said by God fearing and believing people, the reason innocent children and other innocent people are killed, injured, or born with defects, It is to test our faith in him. To me it doesn't matter how much anyone tries to take God out of my school, courthouse or anywhere He will always be in my heart. There used to be bumper stickers everywhere that said "God said it, I believe, That settles it" As far as I'm concerned you can leave the part about believing it out. God said it and that settles it. And it is non christians that are for the most part doing the stuff to the innocent. But when it comes time for them to pay the price they start praying to the God they do not believe in. You never hear anyone praying to the monkeys they seem to believe we come from or the dirt or even more ridiculous the sonic boom. And another cliche you don't believe in God cause you can't see him, do you see the air you breathe? Not. so that theory is pure moronic. Anyway there is my vent. And I will continue to pray for the nonbelievers, as well as for myself to be more of a better witness and to walk in his footprints.

My husband and I do not fly anymore for two reasons -
We refuse to let the governement search us bodily.
We refuse to fly with Muslims.
Our preacher rarely flies also. He has started driving to his preaching engagements.

This is America. We should not cater to the Muslims who hate us and are out to "murder the infidels."

[WhiteRider tells us of what he learned from an 'Satanist']

She was the one who had to show me through scriptures that the Nephillim were still here. It was her that told me who she was, what her position was, who her contacts were; what her illuminati programming type was. She told me all about the underground bases, then one night in the spirit showed me them on a tour. She was the one who told me that UFO's were time/ dimensional machines, and told me all about how they worked. It was her who told me about the circle of six, and how that each king or queen of the six are in charge of one sixth of the worlds wealth. It was her that showed me the dimensions were multi layered. It was her that told me all about time travel, how it was developed, who the scientists were that worked on the top secret projects, where some of the bases are located, and why Windyville is such an important hub of occult activity. She is the one with all the expertise.

(Also, isn't it a bit absurd for God to sacrifice himself TO himself, in the form of Jesus? Also, a sacrifice implies that you're not going to get it back, but Jesus DID get his life back, so how is that a sacrifice?)

But did he get his life back? Your evidence is but very thin and a little circumvent to say the least.

They don't see a problem with introducing alternatives to the theory of evolution.]

they fear christians, they fear it not because they REALLY believe christians want a theocracy, but because christians remind them of how lost they are ::Winking Smiley::

(responding to a t-4-c poster who admitted to being there to defend Catholicism.)

God is not the author of confusion. Since God has called and ordained me to this ministry, there is no way you could be called to 'have a God-given duty to educate people' against us.

Finally, your 'legitimate sources' are in conflict with the Word of God. Since they are in conflict with the Word of God, they are inaccurate and unacceptable. The Word of God is our final authority for all matters of faith and practice.

Yes, now that you have clearly stated your goals, I have disabled your account.

I have said it before, and I will say it again. I do not believe in atheists. They don't exists. Sure, there are people who are immoral, who lie and say they do not believe, but there are none who truly do not believe. Even if there were one who is a true atheist, when he closes his eyes in death, and opens them in Hell, he will believe. Sadly, then, it will be too late. Now is the time to choose to repent and to serve God.

Quote# 26005

Answers in Genesis is not attempting to debunk science. It is, in fact, explaining God’s creation scientifically. If you will take the time to explore what they are doing, I think you will be impressed, not only with this fact, but also with the scientific credentials of those who support Creationism as opposed to evolution. Expand your thinking to include the scientific possibility (I personally believe it to be fact) that God’s word is true and that He did, in fact, create the world in six literal 24-hour days. God’s Word clearly says He spoke creation into existence. Science does not prove it did not happen that way; it simply theorizes that it did not. Take your family and get all the facts. Then you will be in a position to make an intelligent decision as to whether or not this is a ministry worth taking seriously and, perhaps, getting behind with your support.

Through the centuries, "mainstream science" has changed its tune over and over. So many of the "proofs" for evolutionary theory have been found inconclusive, and the evidence (when viewed objectively) can point both to evolution and creation. The question is, which is more likely? I believe in order for all creatures to have evolved first from non-life into life, and then from one simple creature into millions of complex ones, seems miraculous. And then we're back in God's territory, aren't we?

There have been many comments saying that Creationism is bad science and those who believe it are idiots. But consider this, our DNA is 97% similar to a chimps, however, it is a 98% match to that of a (drumroll please) ........ Banana! Also, if you believe that you evolved by chance then that means that your logic evolved by chance, and how do you know that it evolved the right way? You can't even be sure you're using the right arguments against the museum and the theory of creation! (Yes, I said theory of creation, just like the theory of evolution) So if you want to believe that you're just a better looking monkey than "Lucy", I guess you're free to do so. I, however, prefer to believe that I was created in the image of God for a special purpose. Here's to you my Monkey friends, I wish you luck (I guess you believe in that) in your random chatterings! A major liberal falsehood of the mid-20th century was that intelligent life in outer space must exist, and that America should spend billions looking for it. This falsehood had political overtones in favor of nuclear disarmament, globalism, environmentalism, government spending and atheism. Political and Atheist leaders who were strong advocates that intelligent life must exist in outer space were:

Jimmy Carter
Adolf Hitler
Carl Sagan

Other Liberal Falsehoods
Population Bomb
Evolution
Global Warming
Global Cooling

i have some homosexual friends and its such a powerful feeling 2 pray for them to overcum there sinful ways. for some reason they dont apreciate my love-the-sinner-hate-the-sin ways and they get realy angry at me.

the other day i was talking 2 my friend Becca, who is a homosexual, and she was telling me how much she loves her gurlfriend and wants 2 marri her someday. and i just told her strate up "sorri but i love you so much Becca, but i hate ur loving and monogamous relationship u have, and i will do everthing in my power 2 make sure u cant marri the person u love and want 2 marri. sorri but i'm a compasionte conservative"

i dont understand why more homosexuals do not like to hear that i love the sinner but hate the sin. shouldnt they be so releived and appreciative of my love for them? sorri but sometimes being a compasionate conservative is not easy.

pls tell me ur story.
