If the theory of Evolution were proven wrong tomorrow, how would that make God real?

Answer :
That's just another reason why I trust what God says about life and how it got here since He was here to see it and He doesn't make mistakes, unlike people who make plenty of mistakes and were not here to see what happened.

Question for fellow Christians. Matthew Shepard?

I am requesting that ONLY Bible believing Evangelical Christians answer this.

I was watching a segment on the "Crime and Investigation" network on the death of Matthew Shepard.
The first thought that came to my mind was "if he had accepted Jesus Christ into his life then he would have not been gay and then this wouldn't have happened to him". I do not condone violence, but I can't help but feel that if he had been following God's will that he would still be alive today and living a nice life.

Someone tell me that you feel this way too.

So let me get this straight. You won't believe in God, what proof do you need?

You won't believe in what the Bible says (even tho there are countless manuscripts that were copied letter by letter)

you won't believe people's personal testimonies

you won't believe in people's near death expierences

you won't be in miracles

you won't believe that the complexity of our planet, universe, and even our own bodies is proof of a creater (even when we have not searched the entireity of space, or can drill to center of our own planet, and science has been wrong in the past, you will not admit that).

you just have a rebuttle and an answer to everything, no matter how logical it sounds or not.

So what proof do you need to believe in God?

It sounds like you want Him to fly out of Heaven, land on your doorstep, and make your life perfect. What you want is a personal genie, and have an unlimited ammount of wishes. If God doesn't make your life perfect, there's no reason to believe in Him right??

That's where sin comes in, and the problems in our own lives are because we live in a perfect world. If you don't want to believe in God, fine, no one can force you, but stop ignoring the facts and having childish answers to everything I listed above. Just be honest about why you don't want to follow God. The purpose of knowing God is having a personal relationship with Him!

It says that you MAY purchase slaves, but doesn't say you should. Therefore, I don't see what's so bad about this whole thing. I would never own slaves, I think it is morally wrong and despicable. If God thinks it's okay to own slaves, so be it. I don't care because he loves me enough to send his only son to die on a cross and he is not directly forcing me to own slaves.

I really don't like Buffy The Vampire Slayer at all. #1. it's boring #2. It defys God. #3. We all know witchcraft, vampires, and deamons are bad, so why watch them create more evil.

Personally I feel that, the more kids that watch shows like Buffy, the more kids/adults we will have that turn to satan because they think all that stuff is cool. Yes there are some people out there today that are insecure enough to let television actually suck them in. I don't blame everything on tv, but there are some dumb people out there that let it influence them.

I'm not judging you, maybe you are strong enough to see past it. But, IMHO, I don't think it's right to be watching it. Just my 2 cents

He's not saved, he is the devil's child, so, how can you be sure that he's not just saying he's against it to get the conservitive Christian votes?

McCain is Episcopalian - They condone same sex unions, they ordain openly gay bishops and clergy. And, they are one of the Catholic Churches offspring. What does the Bible say about the Catholic church calling her babies home during the end times?

[This is the purpose of the "Truth for Youth" program]

An army of God's young people
are being enlisted with a mission... to legally smuggle Bibles into America's public schools!

In response to the tragic killings of students and teachers, we have launched a national “Bibles Not Bullets” campaign to legally smuggle Bibles into the public schools of America! Consider this: There has never been one law passed to prohibit the distribution of Bibles in America’s public schools. It is lawful for young people to give “The Truth for Youth” Bible to other students in their school, on school grounds.

Pay special attention to the powerful comics in this Bible. They tell the youth the absolute truth about the moral issues confronting them today.

Recently, I joined my dad, Cecil Todd, founder of the Revival Fires Ministry, for a missions project in Moscow, Russia. We were asked by the Ministry of Education, who oversees the entire school system in Russia, to assist in providing Bibles as textbooks in their public schools. Vladimir Saprykin, vice-president of the Ministry of Education, gave the approval. His enthusiastic endorsement prompted him to ask, “What kind of a Bible program do you have for the public schools in America?” I responded, “Russia put God in school, but America kicked God out!”

All the way home I pondered: America is a country that was founded on Biblical standards but today many are trying to stop us from giving Bibles to the students in America’s public schools.

Thank God, thousands of people across America are concerned and outraged that Bible reading and prayer in our public schools is prohibited. And yet, Bibles are being distributed freely in public schools of Russia and even required reading in some of their classes! Now, our public schools have become a breeding ground for sin and lawlessness. Young people are being given condoms, but Bibles are forbidden! We have had to create drug free zones today as a result of creating Bible free zones in the sixties.

I am determined, if students can distribute Bibles in the public schools of Russia, our young people should be able to distribute Bibles in the public schools of America too!
I believe our public schools are the biggest mission field in America. Certainly, much more is needed than just handing out Bibles, but this is a good place to start. Over one million students carry guns to school every day. Let’s replace those bullets with Bibles and return God to our public schools!

[Q: question for christians, do you think atheists are bad people?]

I feel sorry for them. Atheism is the false and very foolish belief that there is no God (Psa. 14:1; Rom. 1:20). Like agnostics, most atheists have been educated beyond their intelligence. No I don't know anyone who professes to be an atheist.

A Feathered Dinosaur?

A common idea among those who believe molecules-to-man evolution is that dinosaurs have turned into birds over millions of years. But, from the Bible (Genesis 1), we know that God created all things about 6,000 years ago—birds on Day 5 of the first week, dinosaurs (land animals) on Day 6.

So what about the “feathered dinosaurs”? Do they prove that dinosaurs changed into birds? For example, some scientists have recently found bumps on the forearm of a velociraptor. They suggest that the bumps were where feathers attached to the bone.

Although no actual feathers were found with the velociraptor fossil (or any other dinosaur fossil, for that matter), it may be that some dinosaurs had feathers. But this group of animals would merely be a kind of feathered reptile—descendants of the animals that God created in the beginning. Feathers on reptiles have nothing to do with proving that one kind of animal changed into another kind. They just show the creativity and diversity of our wonderful Creator God!

For thousands of years, people believed that the Earth was stationary and that the sun orbited us as all the references in the Bible talk about the Earth being fixed and the sun doing the moving.

In the 1500’s, Polish astronomer Copernicus published a book which put forward a theory that the Earth was in fact orbiting the sun and that it was the sun that was the centre of the universe.

This has since been dropped in favour of another theory which proposes that the Earth is just an insignificant spec in the universe, and it is this theory that we accept today and have been conditioned to believe all of our lives. But is it true?
On this web site, Malcolm Bowden reveals 4 scientific experiments that prove that the Biblical view is correct and that we do live in a geocentric universe.

Why does this destroy the evolution theory? - It proves the universe was planned.

Q. If you can find some evidence for an alternative theory (to evolution), I'm all ears. Until then, you don't have a leg to stand on.

A. Ok, my theoruy is that God made it all. The evidence is that it takes intelligence to make complex, sophisticated and intelligent design. There are NO exceptions. That proves my theory of inteliigent design od all creation. You lose.

Q. So, who designed god? Who designed god's intelligence?

A. No God is not intelligent - He is all knowing. Big difference. There is no physical brain with intelligence to design.
