Quote# 47896

I understand where you're coming from.
The world isn't perfect.
People die everyday.
But we are so quick to speak and accuse negativity.
We don't realize that people are born everyday.
God gives and he takes away.

One other thing:
No one would believe in anything without evidence.
It's part of human nature.
But, I, a Christian, have faith.
And I live on that alone.
And the Bible is evidence.
Why do you think that it's the most referenced book in the whole world?

are hypocrites. How can you celebrate a day which is about the birth of jesus christ, who you do not love, care about or follow?

The answer I usually get from this is 'The presents' then they laugh off the question.

Your still spending money funding corporate conglomerates who twist your arm up your back to make you think you need all these presents to celebrate a day which you do not believe in.

Gays are not people. They are instruments of the devil sent forth to perpetrate gaudy fashion and horrible perfumes. They're also there to take that hot girl or guy you got your eye on just so you can't have them. Since gays are biological robots they cannot love, but they are programmed to spite.

Re: pre-Christian Britain

Many druids taught Old Testament principles. See Celt, Druid and Culdee by Isobel Hill Elder.

Apostolic Christianity was well established in Britain by the end of the 1st century AD, as Winston Churchill shows in Volume 1 of his History of the English-Speaking Peoples.

i.e. the Britons of those times largely rejected whatever remained of the old heathen religion (see Babylon Religion by David W. Daniels) in favour of what the Lord Jesus Christ called the words of spirit and life, John 6:63. They made the right decision.

I have to agree with Donovan with this one. You are given the choice to follow God or not too. Being Gay is a choice, just as murder is a choice, just as Adultery is a choice, just as choosing not to agree with Christianity, just as choosing to write a comment on RIA. So many people want an excuse for this or that, So many people want to walk away from a God that has given everything to man. It saddens me that we always find a way to excuse sin, just look in the courtrooms today!!! As for rights for gays, God gives them free will! This country is based on rights for its people, why should Gay's be any different. Know that although I state what I state in my last sentence, that does not in anyway mean I agree with Homosexuality.

Quote# 48560

In these troubled economic times, many members of my congregation are struggling to find well-paid jobs: As their pastor, I do my best to help such as preparing them for interviews. However, I always insist that they discuss their past times and social activities at my church to gage the reaction of their future employer. If there is no interest in what they say, I tell them to suspect an Atheist. Thereupon, they should excuse themselves and leave the room immediately.

The same applies to acquiring the services of Atheists. If I suspect that my local barber is an Atheist, I prefer to let my hair grow long. If the pharmacist refuses to accept God, I prefer to remain sick.

So long as we fail to economically embargo the Atheists, how can we expect to beat their ideology at home and overseas?

"Scientists have never said anything else!
Has it never occurred to you that if you read a few books about evolutionary biology you would not make such a stunning display of utter ignorance?
But then you fear education because it threatens your faith."

[in response to the above quote by a vertbrate paleaontologist after drf333 claimed that "evolutionists" say that pterodactyls were dinosaurs]

That was what they taught in my days at school. Then that is true about those who believe in evolution, change the story every other decade. The articles I read on evolution and some of the articles that you and others have provide has strengthen my faith. You do realise that you need faith to believe in evolution?

Impressive list, Greatwood, but I'm certainly not going to look up a copy and pasted huge bunch of links.

I will say however, it was Richard Dawkins who refused to debate certain scientists, especially A. E. Wilder-Smith. He was offered numerous times and refused to debate him. So did the others. His credentials also aren't very impressive which is why I'm sure he was afraid to debate scientists of that caliber.

That is right! Closed minded to the things of this world and open minded to the things of Christ. She (Palin) stands for everything you are against? So what, are you a baby killer? Have you ever seen a partial birth abortion wher a baby is literally ripped apart? Or how a Doctor holds a live fetus in his hands and while it is still moving shove a syringe in the back of its skull and suck its brains out? This is what Barry Obama is for, is this what you are wanting to support. The fact that he is muslim scum and support homosexuals and he is everything that is wrong with this country. His lack of experience is scary, he will say or do anything that he thinks people want to hear. He can't speak unles it is already written out for him. He is a moron and I can't imagine why anyone could possibly support such an idiot!

Summary of Evolution's Third Fatal Flaw:

Every Helpless Baby Born Proves Darwin Was Wrong

The Theory of Evolution in a nutshell is "Survival of the fittest." But most mammals and birds give birth to helpless babies - instead of strong and fit ones. Neither Darwinism nor Neo-Darwinism can explain infantile helplessness. Every baby that is born contradicts Evolution Theory and this is a fatal flaw.

Carver I'm with you, I have had the thought forming in my mind over the summer that there are a "few" people who understand whats going on. One has to remember that the vast, vast majority of people on this planet don't study the Bible or come over to Christian message boards everyday. The ones that do are in a minority, you wouldn't know that around my house because I talk about the end times all the time but think about it, out of the billions of people on Earth we are indeed chosen.Thats what I think ...

Answer : How could you even compare the two? Creation is based on scientific fact, as well as a written record by eyewitnesses. Evolution is just a religion.

Chrisitans, do you ever feel this way towards atheists?
Because I do. whenever anything to do with God is mention, they spring on you like a pack of wolves, tearing you up with all their science and what not. I mean, it just goes to show how insecure they are and they have to rely on science, can't they just leave us be? I feel like screaming when i see all of their "Gods fake" stuff on YA.

One day they're gonna have to face the facts that God loves them more than anything

[What would you say about Adam and Eve? They were the first people and they were not monkeys. neither were Cane and Able.]

I would be really disappointed if my ancestors are monkeys. Next time I go to the zoo, I'll see which ones look like kin. Why didn't those poor monkeys evolve into humans yet? And the gorillas? When are they going to start talking and wearing clothes? I guess those Gieco caveman commercials have some merit. Some of us haven't fully evolved yet.

I think Adam and Eve makes a little more sense.

Oh yeah, and 'The Big Bang' theory. Isn't that where suddenly two atoms exploded and people emerged from it? Wow.

For all you doubters, you better all go to bible dot com and read a choice of bibles. Evil spirits are real and they control many people in Washington, New York and especially Hollywood. It's time for reality people. You cannot deny that Lohan and others like her are not being manipulated by evil spirits. Just because you are not a drug addict does not mean you are not influenced.
