[Gloria writes in, "Why did Dr Hovind say Special Relativity is wrong when particle physicists say it's correct and they test it everyday in particle accelerators? So why is it wrong?"]

I don't get into much of the Special Relativity and Einstein Theories [sic] and, ah, ah, you know, Newtonian Physics, ah, that kind of stuff doesn't interest me much. So I guess I haven't put a lot into it. [...] So, some of the ideas are just absurd on their face, you know, that space can be bent.

*about the musical Wicked*

Since it's a musical, I will post it here. I would advise everyone, as Christians, not to take your children to this. For those who don't know, it's about how the Wicked Witch of the West, in Wicked named Elphiba, eventually became evil and went against the Wizard. I went and saw this yesterday, and was horrified. I've always liked the Wizard of Oz because the Witch, who was evil and used witchcraft, was defeated by a little girl who didn't have any evil powers, at all. Remember, even "good magic" is bad. Even the Wizard uses no powers, and is just a man. But in Wicked, they make this Elphiba out to be good natured and not really evil deep down, because the Wizard just wanted to use her. It teaches children that this witch is good, even though she uses witchcraft. Just a heads up.

I am expressing my feeling towards the very Idea of Atheism. I almost pity those who have such beliefs. I'm not saying they are wrong or right. I'm just saying that what they believe in is more depressing than any other possibility.

So I made this simple picture to express my feelings for somebody who believes in nothing.

here we see a person sitting in a blank room without any doors or windows. What is most troubling is the fact that this person wants to be here, and is unwilling to move from his chair. Alone, neglected, and lost to the ravages of time. without anything to grab onto and hold as a symbol of his own identity. Those who seek nothing as a reward shall ultimately receive it.

I don't think Atheists can even believe in love, which is the saddest part.

[[Part of a whole page advocating abolishing the 19th amendment]]

Until the Nineteenth Amendment is repealed, Christian women are invited to sign the following proxy statement, file it with their local county recorder, and fax the signed statement to 866 721 5995:

"I, as a submissive woman of God, and of sound mind, do hereby give my vote to this man of God: __________________ to exercise for the glory of Yahvh, our Creator. I make this statement publickly as an example for other godly women to emulate, and for the edification of the world through which we are passing.

I make this statement bona fide dei gratia, for Christ Jesus my Lord. Amen."

Atheistic denial is the tendency of atheists to deny obvious truths, such as:
1. the existence of love beyond chemical reactions in the brain
2. the far greater achievements of Christian scientists compared to atheistic scientists
3. how atheism is the ideology of public schools
4. how many atheists ultimately go insane or commit suicide
5. how materialism fails to explain basic phenomena, such as bird migration

Dionys, you really should either learn more of Christianity, or get over your hatred of Bush. I say that because if you knew your Bible, you would know that there are many characters in the Bible who were responsible for death and war to a much greater magnitude than you give Bush credit.

Have you ever read about David? I mean other than what you learned in school about the stone and Goliath. David was a warrior and a king. He killed by the thousands and he was loved and blessed by God.

I don't expect you to understand what the Bible teaches. It isn't rocket science, but it does require a wiling mind and heart to understand that our's, as humans, is not to question God, but to honor him.

"Citizens and others present (in court) will be surprised by the presence of a woman judge. A woman judge will also become pregnant at some point, and that will certainly have an impact on the judiciary’s prestige and on judges’ public image. Giving birth can also have an impact on the cases she is dealing with being dealt with correctly."

Quote# 35737

Those arguing against creation may not even be conscious of their most basic presupposition, one which excludes God a priori, namely naturalism/materialism (everything came from matter, there is no supernatural, no prior creative intelligence).2 The following two real-life examples highlight some problems with that assumption:

A young man approached me at a seminar and stated,‘Well, I still believe in the big bang, and that we arrived here by chance random processes. I don’t believe in God.’ I answered him,‘Well, then obviously your brain, and your thought processes, are also the product of randomness. So you don’t know whether it evolved the right way, or even what right would mean in that context. Young man, you don’t know if you’re making correct statements or even whether you’re asking me the right questions.’

The young man looked at me and blurted out,‘What was that book you recommended?’ He finally realized that his belief undercut its own foundations —such ‘reasoning’ destroys the very basis for reason.

I hope we got the bad guys, and that the kids are okay. If not, let's pray that they were below the age of accountability and will not be held responsible for the brainwashing of their families.

Yes I think slavery is accetable even today but not the type of slavery the American's used on the African nation.

When one hears the word slavery all sorts of different thoughts spring into the mind but in Islam a slave should not be treated like the Americans treated the African's but should be treated with respect.

Also look up slavery in Islam.

Quote# 35728

The ‘hate crimes’ gays complain about are infrequent and seldom involve more than name-calling or snide remarks. The FBI reported 431 hate crimes against homosexuals for the U.S. in all of 1991. Only one was "confirmed" for Washington, D.C. – yet D.C. gay activists claimed 397 incidents! When pressed, they admitted that at least 366 of these "crimes" consisted of "verbal harassment." (23)

In line with traditional psychiatric opinion, violence goes hand-in-hand with the ‘gay’ lifestyle. Almost all the exposure by homosexuals to violence and disease is encountered in the gay subculture. Most of the murderers in the lifespan study whose sexual orientation could be determined were also homosexual. While violence toward homosexuals is deplorable, most violence involving gays is self-induced (and the gay subculture may export more violence than it absorbs from without).

I wouldn' t say delusional, but foolish, yes. When we have all we need spelled out in the Word of God and creation itself speaks volumnes, I'd say someone's not looking at truth. Magic is for fairytales. Truth is for realtiy seekers. God bless

If you told me that liberal teaching promotes homosexuality, I would have to say hell yes it does. Not only does it promote but encourage such thoughts. Animals do it? WTF? So it is ok for humans? Boy, America is so messed up.*** Thousands upon thousands of years, homosexuals were looked at as deranged individuals. Now, our generation is so smart, smirk. Eventually, the homosexual movement will die out without reproduction. But at the same time, we must not let our youth be indoctrinated to this evil.

Another objection we will encounter from proponents of the first amendment is, they will say "Even though the first amendment allows for a heterogeneous society, it also allow those who want to worship the true God to do so. You are not being prevented from practicing your religion and expressing the same."

But those who would make such an assertion do not really understand what it means to honor, worship and obey the true God under a heathen government and in a heterogeneous society. True worship and obedience to God puts saints in direct conflict with a heathen government and with all of the idolatrous religions and ideologies. The principles of democracy and manmade beliefs are the direct antithesis to the principles of the kingdom of God. If there are certain righteous practices of the saint which the heathen government thinks should not be practiced, the government is going to seek to prevent those practices by seeking to bring the saints into obedience to the heathen laws of democracy. Therefore, because the saint lives in a heathen and heterogeneous society, he is going to suffer as a result of his worship and obedience to God.

Another high-ranking George W. Bush administration official has resigned. The Department of Veterans Affairs Undersecretary for Benefits Daniel Cooper quit Thursday amid mounting criticism over a backlog of disability claims for injured veterans that runs six months long and an appearance he made in a fundraising video for an evangelical Christian organisation where he said Bible study was more important than doing his job.

Cooper has been under fire for using his office to proselytise for evangelical Christianity ever since he appeared in a 2004 fundraising video for Christian Embassy, which carries out missionary work among the Washington elite as part of the Campus Crusade for Christ.

In the video, Cooper says of his Bible study, "It's not really about carving out time, it really is a matter of saying what is important. And since that's more important than doing the job -- the job's going to be there, whether I'm there or not."

Cooper's declaration inflamed veterans who saw the number of veterans waiting for the Veterans Administration (VA) to decide their disability claims balloon to 400,000 on his watch, with the average veteran waiting six months for a decision from the government.

I don't beleive they were killed off before Adam! And the site you posted was not a Christian based review. In it the author said "Hovind has just used his conclusion of the Bible being literally correct as the foundation for his use of evidence from the Bible. Circular reasoning is called a logical fallacy for a good reason."

Well of course the bible is literaly correct, we shouldn't have to argue that point.

Well John, as an Ambassador of Christ, and a citizen of the Kingdom of God, I am forbidden to have any opinion or belief that goes against the Word of God. The beliefs and conclusions of this world are suspect until verified by scripture.

After diligently looking into these matters in the Word, I can see no other conclusion. The Word plainly and unequivically disagrees with the stated scientific "facts". I have to believe the Word, and so should you.

Search the scriptures to see if these things be so.

For older kids, this might be ok. But for our 4 year old we saw some episodes we did not feel comfortable having our child watch. Arthur (the program) tends to occasionally get on a soapbox on current issues. One episode I saw made those not in favor of "Harry Potter" type books look like fools: as if we were back in the day of book burnings and witch hunting. As one who firmly believes Potter's teachings are not in line with Scriptural principles, it comes as a slap in the face. I don't want my child being brainwashed with some of the producer's ideas of reality.
