Looking at my ratings, you might think I didn't like the movie. That's not true, as I did enjoy the movie very much. However, looking at this from a CHRISTIAN perspective, there is much to find offensive in this film. For me though, it wasn't the violence and language that offended me, but the character of Nightcrawler. His obsession with Roman Catholic tradition (praying rosary and self punishment among other things) marred what could have been a great character with Christian beliefs. Remove the rubbish, leave in the prayers (except for Rosary) and you have a Christian character, which would have been cool.

Many die in the hospitals; in the presence of the Physicians and Surgeons; they were helpless to do anything. Physicians and Surgeons themselves die even taking the latest treatment. Many of them would have survived if they would have prayed also alongwith the treatment by medicine. Prayer as well as medical treatment in essential for cure. Please don't be unrealistic and superstitious.

When confronted with the old earth idea, And it's evidence there of. I like to ask them if they would mind explaining eternity to me. And when they cannot, then I say: Could it be that God was showing his awesome power over time, through eternity, by making things look older than they really are?

Which means we have a choice. We take the evidence as truth in physical time (not of God), or we take the evidence as God's power to create through the eternal (which is where God lives). And when they try and explain it away through scientific terms, I ask them: What scientific laws apply to God? And what scientific laws apply to eternity? To completely disprove 6 day creation, God and eternity would have to be testible. For that is the scientific way, right?
