Quote# 37956

(this is just a small piece of the crazy pie.)

"Satan has a strong foothold in our government and military, in fact he's running both, literally as the military/industrial/government complex is nothing more than a Luciferian takeover of our country. Through the "aliens" he controls the world today. Who are the aliens? They are the fallen angels who rebelled with him, Lucifer, during his rebellion against the Most High. Part of their punishment was to lose their angelic looks. And even yet, some of the alien races such as the small greys that are one of the most popular today, are manufactured and created. Something like our own auto industry today. Need a grey? Just pump one out. They are created beings by the fallen angels to do their footwork on the frontline. The frontline being the closest one between them and us and that many times includes actual contact with humans."

I just saw Horton Hears a Who. I don't know if the movie went along with Seuss's book-I have only ready two or three of his books. . . he's not one of my favorites. Did anyone that saw it get the distinct feeling that the elephant is an allegory for the US and the who is an allegory for Israel? Maybe I am just imagining things. . .I could not figure who the kangaroon would be an allegory for--Germany?

*Do you support the separation of church and state?*

You mean this one....

First Amendment
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

The one that says *nothing* about separation of church and state* and the mockery that our politicians have made of it?

I'm all for it.

Religion is never a force for good. These people are so blind and it's so sad. Religion only enslaves. It's the problem not the solution.
I'm so glad I don't have a religion with Jesus, I have a relationship!

religion+god=slavery

relationship+Jesus=freedom

We believe in talking birds (African Grey Parrot). Why is a talking snake such a stretch? We have evidence of an animal that speaks today, yet no one can prove that snakes have never spoken. It all seems so silly. If atheist want to label faith as fantasy, perhaps they should pick better examples.

Quote# 37885

[ This is from the introduction of the book Evolution: A Fairy Tale for Grownups Subtitled: 101 questions to shake believers' faith in the theory. ]

This book will no doubt be seen by some as "quote mining." This is the practice of taking a quote (often out of its context), and using it in a way that was never intended by the author. However, every gold nugget is legitimately mined out of its context. No one seriously values the earth that encases the gold. So, when I uncover an evolutionary expert quietly admitting that he has no evidence to back up his theory, I don't see any value in the soil of his surrounding words. I merely extract what I believe is of value for those who want to discover the truth about the theory of evolution.

Secondly, I don't support or oppose [homosexuals] getting beat up and harassed at school. I don't do it to them but I also don't try to stop it. I do believe they deserve it.

[When questioned,]

You say I'm not a Christian because I don't help them whent hey get ebat up or anything.
Well that shows your lack of knowledge of the faith. The Bible says to stay away from gay people. I'm certainly not about to help them out.

And why do I feel that they deserev it?
Because homosexuality is an abomination and is disgusting, and all the gay people at my school are really annoying, I don't like them at all.

Quote# 37845

The focus of courting is on marriage, not on just finding someone to have a good time with, and breaking up (which is practice for divorce) at the drop of a hat.

The parents are completely involved and actively counseling the couple.

The couple is chaperoned and never completely alone to maintain a high standard of purity.
This doesn't mean that they don't have any privacy, but that there is someone close by to help them keep a good testimony,
and "abstain from all appearance of evil".

Emmanuel, I hate to take the draconian act of deleting an entire post. However, your last post was all quotes from a woman who is a self-proclaimed 'prophetess' and from a group of people who have several doctrines and practices which do not agree with the Word of God (claiming to be a prophetess, and a woman preaching to men, for example).

First off, God doesn't use magic, He does miricales. Our minds can't really understand that. But, if you read the whole Bible, you will find that it has prophecies, yes? Well, some of those prophecies has ALREADY come true. How can people believe that we evolved from... some goop or monkies. It just doesn't make any sence.

If we came from monkies, then we would have proof already because then the monkies we have in captivity would turn into a human. It's just not right. In order to understand everything, you really need to read the whole thing to understand. Even go to a church if you're stuck.

[Regarding a man who was pulled off a plane because he continued to pray at the back of a plane despite airline personnel's demands that he be seated for takeoff.]

This is a classic instance of attack on religious people by these modern people - the people who build and run these planes and other such tools of modernism. It is similar to another instance in which some christians baptizing in a public lake and park were asked to stop the process and leave the park. Which flight was getting delayed then...? These modern people need to be properly attacked... physically if need be.

[about Expelled: The Movie]

Darwinism, of course, does not permit for the existence of a supreme being, a higher power, or a God. His interviews with some of the professors who espouse Darwinism are literally shocking. The condescension and the arrogance these people have, they will readily admit that Darwinism and evolution do not explain how life began. One of these professors said it might have been that a hyper-intelligence from another planet came here and started our race. This from some professor either in the UK, I forget where it was, but can't be God. These people are so threatened by the existence of God, they will not permit intelligent design to be discussed. Professors have been fired, blackballed, and prevented from working who have deigned to try to combine the whole concept of evolution with intelligent design.

Quote# 37826

SANAA (AFP) — A Yemeni court on Tuesday granted a divorce to an eight-year-old girl whose unemployed father forced her into an arranged marriage this year, saying he feared she might be kidnapped.

"I am happy that I am divorced now. I will be able to go back to school," Nojud Mohammed Ali said, after a public hearing in Sanaa's court of first instance.

Her former husband, 28-year-old Faez Ali Thameur, said he married the child "with her consent and that of her parents" but that he did not object to her divorce petition.

In response to a question from Judge Mohammed al-Qadhi, he acknowledged that the "marriage was consummated, but I did not beat her."

Yemen, one of the world's poorest countries, has no law governing the minimum age of marriage.

Nojud was a second grader in primary school when the marriage took place two and a half months ago.

Quote# 37841

You don't get it, do you? When the next big swathe of religious violence starts happening it won't be the religious people who are doing it, it'll be the aethiests. Aethiesm is turning into what christianity was hundreds of years ago; an intolerant faith that has to break down or sideline anyone who won't convert to its beliefs. At the current rate I'd say it'll be about ten years before we start seeing laws introduced to remove the rights of religious organisations, and twenty years before we start seeing aethiest violence against priests and members of christian organisations.

"Acknowledgments of God in public are important because this nation was founded and its laws are predicated on a steadfast belief in God. Without that foundation the country will cease to operate as a free and prosperous nation able to serve as an aid and example to the rest of the world. The acknowledgment of God recognizes the source of our inalienable rights, to life, liberty, and property and the only proper source of our morality."

Quote# 37822

Most Athiests usually use the "Problem of Evil" argument to prove that God doesn't exist. This argument asks the question: if God is perfect , all knowing, and omnipressent (everywhere at once) then why are there imperfections and suffering in this world?"

My rebutle to that--my philosophy is that perhapse God allowed things to be imperfect to prove his existence. Try to stay with me on this. Man is imperfect, right? Therefore the ideas of man must be imperfect. however, God is perfect, right? So therefore, God can not be a man made idea because He is perfect, thus God exists as an actual spiritual being.

I find it ironic that two leaders of false doctrine visit the US within days of each other. First Dalai Lama in Seattle, and now the Pope in DC. Feels like the one-world religion is merging from west to east. We know that this is just another attempt by the father of lies to have his way with unbelievers.

Prayer and listening to the Word of God are our best weapons of mass destruction.

Quote# 37813

We have never and will never advocate the establishment of a state religion. The founders of this nation specifically wanted America to be free of the problems of state religions and the ludicrous notion of the "divine right of kings." Instead they desired to establish a nation "under God" in which the rights of man were understood to come from divine inspiration instead of an all powerful and intrusive government that could revoke those rights at any time it wished.

[Emphasis my own.]

Quote# 37805

Society also hurts marriages through incarceration. Prison is sinful and wrong. The Bible teaches either restitution or execution (depending upon the crime). There were no prisons in Israel during early Old Testament times. It is sinful to separate a husband and wife. God never intended for humans to be caged like animals. This is one reason God instituted the death penalty. It is unfair for a wife to suffer because her husband goes to prison for life. The Bible says she is committing adultery if she remarries (Matthew 5:32). So what does she do? The same is true with the husband, what is he to do if his wife is taken away from him for a life sentence in prison? It is happening right now in America! It was the heathen world that created prisons as a means of obtaining free labor, which is still happening in some places in America today. Prisons are big business! God did not create prisons. It is man's own wickedness that has made the entire planet a big prison. So again, no one should ever come between a husband and wife! This is what God says!
