(How come my Hindu friend is so calm and relaxed has such a wonderful homelife and beautiful family?
He's got huge statues of various god's in his house).

Is "calm" the sign of a non effected person spiritually? He's HINDU... rejecting Christ.
I don't know how "calm" prove someone isnt' demonically blinded or influenced?

As my earliier post said, it doesn't mean demons are throwing you around the room or making stuff levitate to be there.
What did Paul say? The DOCTRINES of false religions are OF DEMONS.
You don't think since the religion CAME from them, that they don't put on the show to make Hinduism seem plausible & true? Sure they'll give them a false sense of peace. They lie & keep people bound to false religions.

We as American's need to break out of our stereotypes of things.
Satanists are prominant people in society, not lowlife freaks you can spot a mile away...

It's more sophisticated than you would know. Just like pedophiles & serial killers are normal family men that you'de never suspect to be able to do such things.
They go to church too.......

(part of a list of student rules)

You may not put up a picture of unmarried people in physical contact unless they are "little kids." (these are sold in the bookstore).

A few simple observations indicate that the Baptists differ radically from Protestants on a number of points.

The Protestant groups look to some human being as their founder, often even taking their name from a man. The Lutherans hark back to Luther. The Reformed look to John Calvin. The Presbyterians were rounded by John Knox. The Methodists openly acknowledge John Wesley as their founder. Who rounded the Baptist churches? Here is a historical question worthy of serious investigation. It is impossible to find any one man who gave rise to Baptist churches. Rather, if we would name human founders, we must look back to Peter, Paul, James and John.

We differ from Protestants in our birthplace. Lutherans came from Germany, the Reformed from Switzerland and the Netherlands, the Presbyterians from Scotland, Episcopalians from England, but Baptists would have to give Palestine as their place of origin.

Furthermore, the creed of Baptists is not the Augsburg Confession, the Canons of Dort, or the Westminster Confession, but the simple Word of God. So it is impossible to identify Baptists as Protestants.

Well, first, let's clarify what the admin's definition of a 'testimony' or 'testify' is! When I speak of a lady testifying, I am speaking of her praising the Lord for something the Lord has done for her in her life. i.e., this is what the Lord did for me.

As for why it is wrong for a woman to 'preach' in church, we need only look to the qualifications for a bishop (pastor):
1 Tim 3:2-7 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; (3) Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; (4) One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; (5) (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?) (6) Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil. (7) Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
One of the qualifications is 'husband of one wife'. This qualification eliminates several groups of people:
Unmarried the pastor must be a husband! This means that unmarried men are not qualified!
Remarried the pastor must be the husband of one wife. This means he cannot be divorced and remarried.
Women No matter how hard she may try, a woman cannot be a woman.

As for the other positions some women have taken in churches, the passages from Paul are on point. The Bible is not extreme, it is our guide.
