Quote# 41340

Talking about George Bush:

I hate to say it, but W scares me. After hearing some of the things he's said and seeing what he's done, I get the overwhelming feeling that he's a wolf in sheep's clothing. If folks really do their research on his behavior (i.e. globalism, dividing Israel, placing Allah in the same league as Jesus, etc., etc., etc...), then they will come to see that there's something rotten in the state of Denmark, so to speak. I cannot judge a man's heart, of course, but the blasphemy of equating our God with the gods of Islam et al is something no true born-again believer would do - and that's just the tip of the iceberg with GW.

I have already posted this on another thread but it needs to go here to. I worked with a homosexual 35 years ago. I tried to witness to him but he just kelp saying he had a home in heaven and what he was doing was not a sin.. He also said that the gays would take over and have more rights than others through the SCHOOLS AND CHURCHES. And their goal was to have homosexual marriages broadcast on the TV. Everyone just laughed at him (35 years ago) and said that would never happen. Well it has. People say they don,t recrute well he tried way back then. Days of Noah again indeed! People now say OH thats the way it is suspose to be before Jesus comes back. I agress. But I don't think we are to just let it happen

I have some questions for you?

You live in a house right?
Was your house made out of thin air?
How can you prove to me that a builder build it Right?

You probably have Paintings hanging off the wall right?
How can you prove to me that a Painter Painted that Paintings?
Was the Painting made out of thin air?

You probably have a car right?
Was the car made out of thin air?

Accidents are ugly cause I was in one.
How can Big Bang made stuff so beautiful like flowers or Trees or Mountian?

Why does the season Changes each year?
Why does leaves fall not in spring?

I seriously feel we are at the door right now of eternity! I mean I will even be surprised if He doesn't come by this weekend, I feel it is that close! It's a little scary because I keep wondering what will happen to our sweet loyal pets, not to metion loved ones that aren't saved!
It's hard for me to stay focused on anything because I constantly feel like we are at the end!
Maybe I'm reading these posts too much??

(in an article about the unfortunate "Teen Pregnancy Pact" in Massachusetts)

The reality is society has created a generation of callous, spoiled people, which is so clearly demonstrated with this teen girl pregnancy pact. No amount of sex education or birth control would have prevented at least 9 of these pregnancies, but the first response from the Left is more money, more education, more birth control!

How about more discipline, a stronger sense of responsibility, and no public funds used to support any of the girls involved in such pregnancy pacts. They made their “choice,” and they can live with the consequences.

I wasn't trying to say that he was the a/c.....I just find it strange how people who aren't Christians are so easily drawn to him....and most Christians can see right through him....there is nothing charismatic about him to me....I think he is a pawn to help set up the world for the a/c....(are we aloud to say that? if not, please let me know and I will delete..)

I undertand why you dont want to read it.
You have to have motivation to do virtually anything.
So what if its written over eighty years ago?

Instead of being a "reasonable" Catholic, you should be a staunch Catholic, following Church teaching and rejecting birth control.

Our Catholic brothers and sisters pointed out that birth control is the cause of unwanted pregnancy, and I say they're right. Birth control led to a lax moral attitude, giving way to unrestrained sexual activity, which means more chances of children born out of wedlock. Therefore, it would seem the Church's position is the correct one.

God bless.

I CAN'T WAIT to go fishing with the mortal humans, and teach them of our LORD! Oh baby a bucket of refreshments, a nice boat, and fishin' all day rather than driving through congested highways trying to make appointments on time, and selling technology in the heat of the day as I do now...No weeping, no broken heartedness, just the Glory and Light of the Messiah shining throughout the earth lighting the way for the population.

No, what's sick is you twisting the context to suit your own ends (unbelief).

Michael, how many times have I said to stop bringing my dead friend in to this? At least twice. Indeed, this confirms the evil and depravity of man evident in even your own heart. You are trying to make a point using emotional arguments rather than facts. And THAT is what's sick.

If you don't repent, you yourself will face the horrors of God's judgment.

It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. (Hebrews 10:31, ESV)

*a woman pointed out a man who tortured her in court*

Indeed, any female will point to the guy at the defense table. If the defense had been allowed to switch the accused with some spectator, and put the accused seated in the third row with the tourists, she still would have pointed at the man at the accused table. Witness testimony is worse than useless. They would convict a ham sandwich if the rules allowed them to accuse one.

Quote# 41339

There are higher priorities in the universe than one's own life, don't you think?

Faith is better than medicine and far more effective. Science cannot help solve everything Faith can.

Make as many medical discoveries as you want, but why allow the world to suffer and keep from supplying those most in need from medicine? Science is getting almost hypocritical in the purpose by which it exists. Neither Faith nor religion created the atom bomb; science did, and yet, modern technology is seen as some sort of "savior" of mankind's problems. People are still suffering, and they suffer far more where most needed while in first-world countries, well, why would they even want to care? It's like scientific research and medicine is only for high-society; medicine only for the rich.

Consider that. If people cannot afford an appropriate way to access medicine, what else do they have to look to?

Also, blood transfusions are like turning human beings in self-righteous, desperate Frankenstein monsters. Why extend life a 5, 10, 25, or even 50 years when higher priorities reap greater, everlasting benefits? Maybe medicine focuses on the short term benefits, not the long.

Science is getting at the worst in human beings' value of themselves and the world.

Title: ANSWERED CONTRADICTIONS IN THE BIBLE
This is too easy!

...

Contradiction:
1. Genesis 17:1, 35:11, 1Chronicles 29:11-12, Luke 1:37 God is omnipotent. Nothing is impossible with (or for) God.
2. Judges 1:19 Although God was with Judah, together they could not defeat the plainsmen because the latter had iron chariots.

Response:
What is this supposed to mean?

AMEN! Being Gay is an IMMORAL AND DISGUSTING LIFESTYLE CHOICE! All they have to do is STOP choosing to have feelings for people of the same sex! Gays are an ABOMINATION!!!

Disgusting. Utterly disgusting.

Gay 'people' (if you can call them that) are drug addicted, promiscuous sex addicts, (some have thousands of partners!!!) who Hate God and want to destroy your family. They would probably molest your children if you weren't paying attention.

God's gonna have to apologize to Sodom and Gumorrah if he doesn't do something soon!

Quote# 41319

If you read the rules God gave to have a perfect society, they are phenomenal. [...] Whenever somebody commits the following crimes they are to be executed, publicly. And whoever is the offended party gets to throw the first stone [...] There is just the relief when you get to throw the rock at the person who offended you, or harmed you, or raped you, or stole from you, or something. I think Man is designed to need that satisfaction, that relief of taking vengeance. I think that is way God - I think that is the way human nature is.

Okay so...

Lets pretend that there is this guy..

Lets call him Rob.

Okay so Rob just got this amazing new book that he absolutely cannot put down. So he goes out side in his back yard to read.
Well all of the sudden, his neighbors child slips into his back yard...
He dosn't pay much attention and keeps reading.

All of the sudden he hears a splash and This child is drowning in his pool.

He doesn't want to let go of the book, so the child dies in the end...

Thats exactly what happens when you do not share the gospel of Jesus Christ with others. Their soul will die and be condemned to Hell for all eternity. If you are okay with that, then thats your deal, but I'm Not at all okay with that, and I was commissioned to be an On Campos Missionary to my school last Summer along with wherever else I go, and I intend to carry out my mission till the end of my days...

The time is coming and He IS coming soon so be ready because the End is near.

The world is corrupt as it was in the Days of Noah, and it wont be a flood this time....

I have always looked at Ameirca as Gods last stand. America was founded by christian leaders and groups who fled persecution. Now if you look at a map, there is no where else to go, no where to run, or hide. This is it. With our country slowly getting rid of God in every matter of life from school, to politics and so on, there isn't anywhere else for us to run to. Which brings up my thoughts that may be similiar to others, and that is that we must be brought down so Israel can be held up. Also remember that when Israel is attacked in the gog and magog war no one comes to help her, so God must, maybe shows a little more of how we must be brought down so God can show the world his judgment and his defense of Israel as his chosen people. Anyways don't want to get off topic, think I made my point!

GLADSTONE, Ore. — Authorities say a teenager from a faith-healing family died from an illness that could have been easily treated, just a few months after a toddler cousin of his died in a case that has led to criminal charges.

(Continues...)

If the condition had been dealt with earlier, a urologist could easily have removed the blockage and avoided the kidney damage that came with the repeated illnesses, Nelson said.

Benton said a board member of the Followers of Christ church contacted the authorities after Beagley died at his family's home. The teen had been sick about a week, and church members and his family had gathered to pray Sunday when his condition worsened, Benton said.

God had to allow man to fall into sin so that Jesus COULD die; the death of Christ was always God's aim from eternity past.

And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. (Revelation 13:8, KJV)

The whole purpose of creation was so that Christ could die for and bring into existence His Church. And He will also glorify His righteousness in the destruction of sinners.
