Anyway, the point of all this is to say that I feel that time has just lately begun to move faster, so to speak. I could never attempt to set a date for the Rapture, but man, I all of a sudden felt my normal sense of urgency become significantly more urgent! And with this heightened sense of urgency has come a feeling of calm like I have never felt before. Does this make sense to any of you? Are you feeling it too? Do you feel even more surprised that you're still here? Do you feel sad, urgent, happy and calm all at the same time?

I'm a college student that is studying geology. In one of my professor's lectures he mentioned plate techtonics and continental drift. I was wondering if you could provide me with an explanation for this.

This is the theory that I came up with. What if Pangea did exhist? What if, after the flood, there was just one continent? I think that humans tried to build the tower of babel exactly where babylon is today. In reference to Pangea, Babylon would be in the exact center of the continent. God confused the languages and different groups went in different directions (north, south, east, west etc.). Then, to make sure that humans didn't find some other way to communicate and reunite the languages he separated the continents to separate the people. Makes sense. I read a passage that says, "where God looks at the earth it shakes and where his finger touches it smokes." Sounds like earthquakes and volcanoes to me. I propose, instead of taking billion/millions of years to separate, that God separated the continents in a much shorter span of time. Maybe, even overnight.

email me and let me know if I'm on target.

I know I'm not wrong, because I know that God exists and that the Bible is his word. Sure, you can say, "There's no proof," and you can try to shove your so called "Scientific explanations," at me, but I know I'm right. Once a person has truly accepted the Lord as their savior, you can feel his presence. Some may deny it, but I know it's true from personal experience. I am tired of being laughed at, true enough, but I'll do it all my life rather than change my views and burn in hell. I can be just as stubborn as you are, and I'll never change my views. Keep trying to put me down. You might actually lower me a few centimeters.

Logic is a point of view. Your logic is polluted, and as such will be your destruction.

The laws of physics don't apply to God. What part of omnipotence do you not get?

[The number of strawmen, and other logical fallacies in this document should probably be used as a way to teach how "not" to argue.]

The arrogance displayed by the evolutionist class is totally
unwarrented. The facts warrent the violent expulsion of
all evolutionists from civilized society. I am quite serious that their danger to society is so great that, in a sane society, they would be, at a minimum, denied a vote in the administration of the society, as well as any job where they might influence immature humans, e.g., scout, or youth, leader, teacher and, obviously, professor. Oh, by the way… What is the chance evolutionists will vote or teach in the Kingdom of God?

(In response to the question, "How does legalized gay marriage force anything upon anyone?")

A good question. Here's something you might not have considered:

Let's say John and Martha marry and have a long life together. If John dies before Martha, Martha receives John's pension until Martha dies as well. But, what if Martha dies first and John decides to give his pension to his son, so he marries his son. Nothing wrong with that, right? I mean it's a same-sex marriage and they can't have kids so why not? Well, what about that pension and how does that affect others by continuing the payments for another 30 years? What about social security?

Why limit marriage to a single same-sex couple? Why not 5 same sex couples forming one marriage? Why not 5 opposite sex couples forming one marriage?

There's a well-known homosexual activist named Frank Kameny who says bestiality is okay as long as the animal doesn't mind. Should we allow marriage to animals or just let some people have sex with animals because they have the freedom to do so?

Should transgenders get medical benefits for surgery? How does that affect your medical premiums?

How does alll this affect our culture and society? Where do we draw the line?

Quote# 40880

Should Evolutionists Be Allowed to Vote?
--They do not and can not know the purpose for Man. In
fact, all of them believe Man has no purpose.
?-Therefore, they cannot make informed judgments about
how men should behave toward each other, or what would
be "good" or "bad" for any group of men to do, or not do.
--Thus, they have no sane foundation upon which to base
“laws” or rational for insisting that other men obey the
laws.
--Thus, the religion they profess to believe renders them incapable
of participating in any decision about what men ought
to do. But, that is the purpose of all law.
--Therefore, in a sane society, evolutionists should not be allowed
to vote, or influence laws or people in any way!

They should, perhaps, make bricks to earn enough to eat.

Christians HATERS

(^ that's the title of his journal entry. Now get ready for a heaping pile of WTF)

Sense I was a kid after I'd saw SNOW WHITE & 7 dwarfs. I'd wanted to have girlfriend that look like SNOW WHITE . In 2003 I got. She'd happen to be my Pastor's oldest daughter.

When I was watching the OLD WCW.
I'm the one of that prayed to my God to save Sting the wrestler.
Now I'm prayed for the WWE's fall and have to sell it to TNA.
I'm talking to GOD to make WWE Fall like Roman Empire did but sooner than later cause Vince and Shane said that they could beat GOD in a wrestling.

So we all could play a video game that have all of the wrestlers from WCW/ECW/WWE/WWF AND OF COURSE TNA.

[O]nce Obama gets into office, Christians are going to be targeted in this country more than ever. His cousin (who he's close to) is responsible for all of those Christians in Kenya being burned alive in their churches. Why do people in this country think that they're immune to such persecution?

Fidel Castro was openly democrat when he got office as well.

Christians need to seriously be thinking in terms of what to do when Obama takes office. The Bible says we'll be persecuted, but it also says we can flee from persecution if it's possible.

Isn't it strange that the Bible never mentions anything about evolution? Have you ever thought of that, or wondered why? Wouldn't you think that if there was an ounce of truth to evolution, that there would be something written in the Bible that would, even if accidentally, agree with evolution? Could it be that evolution is just a theory to eliminate God and/or gods?

[On why Evolution has been disproved, and how rocks are born]

Yes, Evolution has been disproved, but those who believe in the religion of Evolution are unwilling to admit it.

NASA uncovered lots of raw data showing that the moon is only about 10,000 years old, in the late 60's and early 70's and the Evolutionist refuse to admit it.

Many 25 year old Rocks from Mount Saint Helens which blew its lid in 1980 have been tested by "experts" who did not know where the rocks came from and those rocks were consistanly dated as being millions of years old.

And with the mapping of the human DNA completed that was the death blow since there are 10^87 possible DNA codes.

Proving that there has not been nearly enough time if evolution was to have occured on a random basis.

Leap Seconds as well as the fact that the Moon is moving slowly away from the earth is even more proof.

Quote# 40814

I am still very much convinced that Evolution is simply an idea in some people’s minds and not the reality of the natural world. It is no coincidence that it parallels Christianity so closely - this was where Darwin stole most of “his” ideas.

Both Evolution and Christianity are about the transformation of one species into another. For Christianity it is the creation of the new man. Darwin’s scenario begins with one member being different at birth. This follows Christianity as Jesus was different – being conceived by the Holy Spirit. In Evolution this “mutation” gives the individual an advantage in survival. Having been raised from the dead proves that Jesus was a survivor. Finally in evolution the member of a species are not like this new individual becomes “extinct”. This too follows the Christianity in that those who do not accept Jesus are lost. Please note that none of these ideas are self evident in the natural world. They are read into it by our preconceived ideas.

Even if I am completely wrong - evolution itself points to Jesus as mankind’s savior. We can easily see this by asking the question “from an evolutionary point of view who will transform and “save” mankind?”

We know enough about the nature of both the earth and the sun to eliminate as hypothetical and irrational the idea that the earth should stop spinning on its axis or orbiting the sun tonight.

Problem is, you have exactly zero foundation for assuming that the ‘nature’ of the earth and sun will not change 5 seconds from now.

If I held any doubt about my consideration that the sun will rise tomorrow morning - if I considered an alternative like the sun transforming into a penguin overnight - I might dedicate some thought to the alternatives.

Problem is, you borrow your confidence from my worldview, as you have zero foundation for it in yours.
