Admit it, Tony, the truth is that you believe in God with everything that you are. You're just angry with Him for some reason. NOBODY would spend as much of their time doing what you do for no apparent reason. You're obcessed...do yourself a favor...GET A LIFE!

(FSTDT or RSTDT, whatever)

"Sounds to me like Christians should obey the law, then they wouldn't have problems. Just like if Denny's and Cracker Barrel would have obeyed these laws, just with Blacks instead of gays, they would also have fewer problems."

What if thugs wearing their pants sagging below their buttocks, their underwear touching seats where other people have to sit when these thugs are done, demand to be served at Denny's or Cracker Barrell?

Now, I agree with you that Christians should submit to gays ruling over them in the secular realm. We survived Nero and Hadrian without a First Amendment to protect us, so I'm sure we can get through the current phase of socially motivated perverted miscreants forcing themselves on us in todays modern world.

Quote# 42948

I doubt if anyone here knows what you're talking about. And, I doubt very seriously if YOU know what you're talking about.

African Americans are depicted as "the ten horns" in Daniel and in Revelation.
In fact, their whole history is recorded in the book of Daniel.

They're the ten horns upon Babylon in Rev.17.
And, they're the ten horns in Rev.13.

Hell, if all we had to go by was Rev.13, we'd know that African Americans are that ten-horn beast!

African Americans had a wound caused by slavery. America healed that slavery wound, and today the whole world wonders after (idolizes) them.

An image has been created of African Americans, which causes all; the small and great, the rich and poor, and the free and bond in America to receive and accept them.

They have to be worshipped (given preferencial treatment) in America's schools and universities (the forehead), in the workplace (the right hand), and in all places of business (that buy and sell).

Their name is "the ten horns", and their number is 600, 60, and 6.
You have to multiply by 10 (by the ten horns) to get those numbers.

Thus, when you multiply the ten horns by 6 you'll get the number 60. And, when you multiply the ten horns by 60 you'll get 600.
And, when you multiply the ten horns by 600 you'll get 6000, and so forth and so on.

See?! That wasn't so hard, was it?!!

a little odd (I mean that in a good way), when you are out and about doing things like going to the gym, grocery store, talking with a group of other parents when your waiting outside for you child at preschool, etc. I mean knowing the times we are living in and that Jesus is coming so soon.

I seem to be lately feeling or having these thoughts when I am at places like the gym and everyone is casually talking; "does anyone else here know whats going on". I know we are suppose to go about our business, but, do ever think things like this too: "I wonder who else here knows about the times we are living in?

A lot of people at church don't even realize this sometimes. Maybe I feel this way lately also, because I have had a few dreams (I wont go into them) not that long ago that we pertaining to the end times. Do you feel sort of like you have a big secret?

you can be homosexual and christian. you're either one or the other.

THE WHOLE PREMISE of christian [those who follow Christ Jesus] is that if you're a sinner or have committed sin [as defined all throughout the bible old and new testament] you MUST repent [admit the sin before God and yourself and your church elder[if that's your particular interpretation] and then "SIN NO MORE".

you can't have both. you can't steal and be a christian, you can't cheat and be a christian,

[About JohnLArmstrongs video pointing out the bible says to kill homosexuals]

I had alot to say, but God won't let me say it. He will let me say this, all the scriptures you've read is about sex, not love. Loving someone of the same sex is not a sin, lust, and lustful acts are a sin. And finally, a non believer has no right to quote the bible. It is clear that you're understanding is limited on the topic. Stop putting all Christians in a box. You CAN'T undestand us, for you are not one of us. To the glory of God.

Quote# 42928

Also Evolution is supposed to have happened according to the humanists, but I have a question to ask. If in Evolution and survival of the fittest are correct and also Evolution is a science according to the humanists then there shouldn't be any purpose in life. But since I'm a biology major and I'm currently taking Organic Chemistry and Lab, I have noticed that in our Lab Notebooks we have to have a purpose why we're doing the experiment. If Evolution is a science should it have a purpose why evolution has occurred? Also, why does the atheist cry when his wife dies in a car crash? Life has a purpose. We all have a purpose. Can you imagine that someone wants to be good to you? God wants to be good to us all. He's not bad at all. God looks for good and finds good. Ever since Adam had sinned, God wants the relationship with man that he once had. So he gave his only begotten Son Jesus to save us all from hell and eternal damnation. But whoever is not a christian already has to make the choice whether to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior and let God love you just the way you are or to reject God and his free gift for a lowzy place in american society with no purpose other than to feel good.

Quote# 42968

[The bold sentence is beautiful. Also, a new spelling of atheism !]

I have had an unbelieving brother have a visceral reaction to a discussion about God and what happens when we die and an unbelieving sister go ballistic over just the mention of the bible.

My sense is that deep down they both know God is real, and that there is a judgement coming. They surround themselves with others who validate their aetheism so they don't have to deal with any conflict in this area in their daily lives. But when the topic surfaces and the Truth is mentioned, there is a deep negative reaction because the Truth registers somewhere deep inside and aI think they can't deal with the reality of that Truth. So they strike out at the messenger. I have been so surprised as well at the intensity of the attacks.

Only the bible, and the name of Jesus and God as creator bring about those kind of reactions. False religions and spiritual ideas don't seem to bother people, and they don't create those reactions. Just the Truth. They don't want to hear the Truth. Its a deliberate choice to reject the Truth whether they realize it or not.

I had another family member reject the Truth recently, and I have been down about it too. I get discouraged as well. However I heard in my heart Jesus saying, "They are rejecting me, not you." And that just makes me want to cry - both for Jesus and for them. I wish they knew what we know and would say YES to Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Evolution and a billion. Do you know how long a billion is?

A billion SECONDS ago it was 1978. (How many of you were born after 1978?)
A billion MINUTS ago, Jesus (you know, the one you might not believe in) was alive
A billion DAYS ago, mankind was in what some refer to as "the Stone Age"
And we're supposed to believe that it took things billions and billions and billions of years to come about. Then billions and billions and billiions of more years to go through billions of changes to get to what we have today.
Scenario: After billions of years the first tree comes about. The first tree eventually grows into a palm tree. After billions of more years, some palm trees develop the ability to go through billions of change and becomes non fruit bearing maple trees, Billions of years later, maple trees go through billions of changes and becomes fruit bearing apple trees. I could go on but you get the idea.
It has been shown just how large & long a billion is
but you still think things happened that way?
Creation takes a few words.
Creation doesn't need billions and billions and billions and billions of years and have to go through bilions and billions of changes. Creation is instant. All that time and all those changes aren't necessary. Why? Because they were created that way to begin with. An oak tree didn't have to change and develope into an apple tree (or vice versa). It was created as such a tree and no changes are necessary,

why has abortion been adopted as an acceptable escape from motherhood?

Quote# 42967

An instructor at Southwestern Community College is charging that the Iowa institution fired him last week for having offended some students by telling them that he wouldn’t teach the Bible as being literally true.
---
Steve Bitterman has been teaching at Southwestern since 2001, and said he’s never had any trouble with students in his courses. He’s an adjunct who teaches history, while also teaching philosophy at Metropolitan Community College, in Nebraska.

This fall, he is teaching Western civilization at Southwestern’s Red Oak campus, and his lectures are broadcast to students at the Osceola campus, with a live hook-up so he can see students. Much of early Western civilization focuses on the myths and beliefs of ancient peoples. Gilgamesh was no problem for students, Bitterman said. But when he got to the Bible on Tuesday, a student walked out of the Osceola section when, Bitterman said, he wouldn’t agree with her that the story of the Garden of Eden was historically true. Several other students appeared disturbed by the incident, he said. From their questions and statements, he believes that they are evangelical Christians.

“A few of the students thought I was knocking their religion by not promoting it,” he said. “They were upset that I didn’t say that the Bible was literally true.” Bitterman said that he treats the Bible as a historically significant, important work, but that he does not accord it status beyond that. “That really seemed to come as a shock to some of them,” he said.

[From page two of the discussion following an article about a man who was excommunicated from the Mormon church for producing a missionary cheesecake calendar]

The LDS Church members are not perfect, but the doctrine is. If someone falls away, or decides to take a different path, it is from human error. I speak from firsthand experience, and have many family members who are not associated with the LDS Church any longer. There are temptations in the world, and those who fall victim to them suffer the consequences.

I am doing my best as God instructed to submit to my Husband as head of the house hold, but I just don’t agree with his choices.
We are behind on rent and other bills, but he keeps spending the money on “investments”. Like home businesses that don’t work.

He loves me, and this is his way of “providing”. I have tried to talk him out of it, but he won’t listen. I am afraid he has us stretched too thin. Yes, we still have a roof over our heads, he keeps reminding me, when I ask him to re-think things.

I went to our pastor and asked him to intervene. He asked my Husband to come in and we would all talk. My Husband said “yes” at first, but then canceled the meeting. He told me not to involve our pastor again, because he had a “plan” to provide for our family, and no one understands it enough to appreciate it. He accuses me of not having enough faith in him OR God to see us through.
I have been praying.
What should I try now?

Quote# 42900

It was the devil and his ilk who have turned this world into a cess pool. It is sin which cause men to trade their eternal Souls for a brief transitory pleasure. Nothing in this world is real. Nor will it last. Even if you own it and it is yours when your flesh suit stops working you can not take it with you.

The hatred you feel should be directed towards the devil. It is his hatred of you and your loved ones that has caused so much pain and suffering.

JESUS CHRIST our KING loves you more then you could ever imagine. JESUS CHRIST is the ONLY truth in this world. JESUS CHRIST is the only way home out of this world. JESUS CHRIST will not abandon nor forsake you. Even if the whole world turns aganist you JESUS CHRIST will not.

I thank ALMIGHTY GOD in HEAVEN for HIS SON JESUS CHRIST. No one else in this world ever gave a crap about me except for my Savior JESUS CHRIST. Only the love of ALMIGHTY GOD through HIS SON JESUS CHRIST gives me a reason to hang on till HIS soon return. I hate what this world has become. I hate the evil people who think they have the right to enslave the rest of us for their evil pleasures. This world is not my home. HEAVEN is my home and I want to go home ASAP!
