Proof Of God
-------------------
1. Nothing, can only create nothing. Therefore, before the
universe began, something, had to have always existed.

2. That "something", is energy. Energy is eternal. The 1st
Law of Thermodynamics proves that by stating "energy
cannot be created or destroyed".

3. Athiests cannot claim this eternal energy always existed
IN the universe, because science itself acknowledges
that the universe, and time, did not always exist.

4. The source of this pre-existent "eternal energy", was of
such immense power, as to create trillions of galaxies.

5. The eternal energy outside the universe, at some point
applied itself TO the universe in order to birth it, which
leaves 2 possible explanations...

#1- That this eternal-energy source, defied scientific law to
exist, defied it again to transfer to the universe, and obeys
nothing science knows...or...

#2- This un or "super" natural energy, is God manifest.

--------------------------------------...
Never doubt the Word of God.

It is written in the Bible (Galatians 6:7):
"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Here are some men and women who mocked God:

JOHN LENNON:
Some years before during his interview with an
American Magazine, he said:
"Christianity will end, it will disappear. I do not have to argue about that. I am certain. Jesus was ok, but his subjects were too simple, Today we are more famous than Him" (1966)". Lennon, after saying that the Beatles were more famous than Jesus Christ, was shot six times.

TANCREDO NEVES:
During the Presidential campaign, he said if he got 500 votes from his party, not even God would remove him from Presidency. Sure he got the votes, but he got sick a day before being made President, then he died.

CAZUZA:
During a show in Canecão ( Rio de Janeiro ), whilst smoking his cigarette, he puffed out some smoke into the air and said: God, that's for you. Ironic how we died of lung cancer.

THE MAN WHO BUILT TITANIC:
After the construction of Titanic, a reporter asked him how safe the Titanic would be. With an ironic tone he said: "Not even God can sink it"
The result: I think you all know what happened to the Titanic.

MARILYN MONROE:
She was visited by Billy Graham during a presentation of a show. He is a preacher and Evangelist and the Spirit of God had sent him to preach to her.
After hearing what the Preacher had to say, she said: "I don't need your Jesus" A week later, she was found dead in her apartment.

BON SCOTT:
The ex-vocalist of the AC/DC. On one of his 1979 songs he sang:
"Don´t stop me, I´m going down all the way, wow the highway to hell".
On the 19th of February 1980, Bon Scott was found dead, he had been choked by his vomit.

I agree that things can focus demons' attention to you. My family was under spiritual attack, and my parents and I prayed through the whole house .... I won't go into great detail, but afterwards, I sat my kids down and talked about praying for spiritual protection, and evil.

Well, doesn't DD11 say that she doesn't like DS7's Yugioh cards? DS7 starts crying, then stops, and says, "Yeah, let's get rid of them!" So we gather them up, rip them into little pieces, and burn them in the outside fire pit. DD said a prayer, proving she knows who to put on the full armor of God!

ITS A LIFE. so my solution, dont have sex until you are ready for a possible child, and if your married they if you get pregnant WAHOO. you CAN take care of it. if you were raped im really sorry, but if you get pregnant, keep it, dont do the immature thing and abort. be better than the guy who raped you.

[Later on in the post...]

and just a heads up, within the next 3 years: abortion WILL be illegal. and dont complain on that, because unless you have a severe health problem where your only option is abortion, you have no right ot do it.

(In a thread discussing a poster’s non-believing brother and his children, someone responds…)

When your brother's children are playing with your children, turn on one of the original veggie tales videos (I love the one about Nezzar's chocolate bunny factory - I think it's called Rach, Shach, and Benny but I'm not sure...I still have the Bunny song in my head and I love the one about the Ducky). Start teaching his children subtley so that you plant the seed without making it so big that your brother can crush it. That way, it has time to grow and be nurtured.

While this may seem a bit sneaky, you are fighting an enemy who would resort to much worse.

When 26 year-old Danilo Giuffrida told doctors he was gay at his medical examination for [Italian] military service, they passed the information to the transport ministry, who told him he must repeat his driving test or have his license withdrawn due to his "sexual identity disturbance."

Giuffrida agreed to re-take his test, passed it for a second time, but the ministry renewed his license for just one year rather than the usual 10 years because of his homosexuality.

Hi there.

As a creationist, I get a lot of people saying that I believe in religious crap. But I found that more religions are based on evolution than creationism, and that the idea of evolution was taken from the Hindu's incarnation philosophy.

Just want to know if any 'evolutionists' are willing to accept that their science and their religion go hand in hand?

And no, cancer is not God's plan to let us die, cancer is the result of wrong living ... the kind that God warned us about. Perhaps it wasn't you who lived wrong, it was a grandparent of one kind or another .... but it can be passed to the 4th generation.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- An Oklahoma church canceled a controversial gun giveaway for teenagers at a weekend youth conference.

Windsor Hills Baptist had planned to give away a semiautomatic assault rifle until one of the event's organizers was unable to attend.

The church’s youth pastor, Bob Ross, said it’s a way of trying to encourage young people to attend the event. The church expected hundreds of teenagers from as far away as Canada.

“We have 21 hours of preaching and teaching throughout the week,” Ross said.

A video on the church Web site shows the shooting competition from last year’s conference. A gun giveaway was part of the event last year. This year, organizers included it in their marketing.

“I don’t want people thinking ‘My goodness, we’re putting a weapon in the hand of somebody that doesn’t respect it who are then going to go out and kill,'” said Ross. “That’s not at all what we’re trying to do.”

Ross said the conference isn’t all about guns, but rather about teens finding faith.

What do you mean "no organism evolves on it's own"? Isn't that the point of macroevolution? That we come out of nowhere as a pile of goo that swims into the ocean, turns into a fish, crawls onto land, grows legs, grows hair, and all other human features?

Oh yeah, and I've been waiting to ask you something since you know so much, how could an event so accidental cause organisms that can (intelligently perhaps) randomly multiply and randomly select the right aspects of itself (Survival of the fittest) correctly each time it did it until it evolved into what we are today and then randomly decide that it no longer needed to evolve?

I know you say you have fossils and all that kind of evidence to prove your point but can you prove how such an event could happen? Lucky organisms?

Dumbest astronomically misconstrued comment I can ever remember receiving is when, at the end of a planetarium program I had just ran, a teacher approached me and said she wished the show hadn’t talked about evolution so much. The show never mentioned evolution and I told her so. She then said, “The narrator said ‘evolution’ many times over!” “Wait,” said I, “Are you talking about ’stellar evolution?” “I don’t know what kind of evolution it was, but I don’t agree with it.” I felt obligated to explain that stars evolve and that the word doesn’t always have to be about her. She ended with, “Well they should pick a better word to use then.”

No, I'm saying that while some degree of dogmatism is a possible component of belief in a truth like intelligent design, it is a necessary component of belief in a lie such as human evolution.

Ask your stereotypical fundy why he thinks homosexuality is wrong, and he'll say, "Because the Bible says so." Ask him why he thinks the Bible is the final authority on moral issues, and he's stuck for an answer.

Ask the stereotypical evolutionist why he believes humans evolved from other primates, and eventually he'll end up citing "scientific consensus". Ask him what makes that authoritative, and he changes the subject.

What it boils down to is that people who believe lies, or who believe the truth for the wrong reason, can't think for themselves.

Yes, Christianity is the one true religion. That may sound awfully dogmatic and narrow-minded, but the simple truth is that Christianity is the only true religion. Jesus said that He alone was the way to the Father (John 14:6), that He alone revealed the Father (Matt. 11:27; Luke 10:22). Christians do not go around saying Christianity is the only way because they are arrogant, narrow-minded, stupid, and judgmental. They do so because they believe what Jesus said.

Young adults who were raised by openly homosexual parents were more likely to engage in homosexuality and to later self-identify as bisexual or homosexual -- and it's quite a stark difference," Hansen shares.
