(Question: For those of you who are atheist:
You don't believe in "god" or dogma, I think that's pretty well established; but what if your child eventually adopted a form of spirituality or religion?
What would your reaction be and how would you deal with and/ or nurture this?)

I would challenge his beliefs as frequently as possible. If he couldn't rationally defend them, our relationship would probably dissolve.

Faith is pretty much the opposite of reason. Becoming religious is pretty much a guarantee that I will no longer be speaking to my child.

If he has a rational foundation for that belief he won't be discarded.

If my child has faith, he is obviously defective, and I will have no use for him.

If I had raised an adult who had baseless fantasies about gods, unicorns, and afterlives, I would not continue a relationship with him, effectively purging my progeny from my life.

I know that America was created by God and it was created by God, not for wealth, personal wealth. It wasn't created by God so that we would have the resources that we now have. It wasn't even created by God to have the freedom that we have now. America was created by God to spread the Gospel; to spread the word of Jesus Christ and to propagate Christianity. And the reason I know that is because my entire political career is exhibited by that. The Lord walked with me …I came to Christ in the first year in Congress and now I've been walking with the Lord he has trained me and showed me why he created this nation: to spread the Gospel

Even Fox News hasn't been very anti-Obama like it has with previous Dem candidates, IMHO.(Even Bill O'Reilly praised Obama for not trashing their network)

Yes-whether or not these networks are liberal, conservative, communist, corporate, or whatever, they seem to be just fawning over him.

Also-take Keith Olbermann, a LONG time supporter of the Clintons, for example. Since the Dem primary started, his biases toward Obama just switched in a HEARTBEAT.

I agree-the AC is really at work here with the press.

Patterns on the skins of dinos would show evidence that man lived with dinosaurs. Pictures in native american caves showed dinos, with spirals and such on the skin. This has been used to prove it was made up, but if we "discover" that yes, dinos had patterns on their skin, it becomes a much more solid question as to how people a couple thousand years ago knew this.

Art of dragons in europe and asia are the same. Dino looking, but with patterned skin. It's only modern scientists who draw em simply green with maybe a lighter belly.

That's how it ties into creation/evolution, and only one way of a couple.

Posting about the church shooting in Koxville TN: This has Satan writen all over it.

Now he needs to seperate the true Churches from the False ones. He will try to make the True Churches look like

fanatics and hateful and the False Churches look like the ones to be in because they love everyone.

Satan will use the media.

Now the media is going to use this shooting by some crazy guy to show that Christians that don't agree with homosexuals are hateful and fanatical but a (False)Church that agrees with the homosexuality is OK and being targeted by the fanatics.

(about the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Church shooting)

True - they are not a Biblically based church. The gunman was not affiliated with the church. I suspect he has no idea about what a Unitarian church is....but just wanted to kill "Christians." The larger lesson here is that the world is becoming increasingly hostile to the church. Our church gets death threats all the time.....

(typical RR compassion)

My next door neighbor's family grew up in this church. My neighbor came outside and was clearly upset. She stated some of her husband's family in Knoxville was attending the Sunday service. She said the congregation was watching the children put on the play "Annie" for the church service. I was shocked to here they were watching the play "Annie" and asked her what religion the church was and she stated it was Unitarian. She said they knew the parishioner who stood up in front of the gunman to block him from shooting other people and that he was the first to die. My heart grieved for the dead because the chances are they were not followers of Jesus Christ.

I don't think a lot of people realize what this country could potentially turn into being lead by Obama. Liberals have become very dangerous indeed, and their agendas although they may not believe it will lead to our further decline and downfall. If Obama thinks he can be buddies with the nations who threaten us and others and get them to change their minds, ask this, can you be buddies with the devil and get him to change his mind? He'll act like your buddy for sure to start with, but soon thereafter you will find that he is a user and he thinks of any followers or "buddies" as expendable. He has no true friends. Because he is not a friend at all. He will use you for what you can get him, and then discard you without so much as a second look. So, why does Obama think he can change their minds? That would mean he thinks he can get them to give up their strong religious convictions and beliefs. That's what Ahmadinejad believes he is working at and for. To pave the way for their mahdi.

We would become a nation who has no morals, and is luke warm through and though. Abortionists, gay marriage would arise maybe be federally legalized, they might even completely open the borders because they are the ones that believe in these "sanctuary cities." What else? We almost definitely would be forced to become underground churches. Would they ban the Bible for being "hate speech"? That's the standpoint Obama has taken on people who try to tell the truth about him. You can't speak the truth if the majority and the president thinks it's hate speech. Idunno. This whole idea of him becoming president just literally makes me ill. And scared. I guess I shouldn't be, but I'm not sure how much we'll have to live through before the return of our Lord for us.

[An article about a girl who made a Facebook site praising James Dobson, founder of Focus on the Family.]

It was about a year ago when I got Facebook. I grew up listening to Dr. Dobson’s program, so I was browsing through groups and I decided to search his name. I did and (the groups) were all negative. They were all against him or making fun of him. That kind of bothered me because he had been such a role in my life. My mom had read a lot of his books to us when we were younger, and they had also really helped her. It had never occurred to me that people wouldn’t like him. I know that sounds childish, but growing up, my extended family – everybody – was such a big fan and listening to his programs was a learning time and a stability for me. So I just decided to create a group about him, about what he was doing that was really good for the family.

Clearly does not allow women to preach in church. This isn't being "trapped in the dark ages," but compliance with the loving Word of God.

I'd bet that you don't believe in the Bible Code. I don't believe in the Bible Code too until I'd find my Birthday, Birthmonth and birth Year and my name in the Bible Code.
But I'd hear it from the Bible Coders said that tribulation starts in the 2012. I'll be in Heaven. You would probably be dead or get the mark of the beast on you right hand or your forehead.

Anti-Christ is coming soon. Just a friendly Warning.

Quote# 43652

I encourage people to go to church, especially if they are new in the faith, and to only seek out Churches that teach strictly from the Bible. I warn them of the Apostosy and the different types of Apostosy so they can have that in the back of their minds when and if they do attend. I then check in with them to see how things are going...and help them if they have any questions about a particular subject.

Being "persecuted" with the actions of the apostate church is, imho, a tool to refine us, to help us draw closer to the Lord, to see His wisdom and discernment, Grace and Knowledge and to draw upon the Holy Spirit to help us endure each day we have and to be a light to those that have not accepted Jesus. Those being persecuted "see" and "hear" the words and are going about the Fathers business.

Soy is feminizing, and commonly leads to a decrease in the size of the penis, sexual confusion and homosexuality. That's why most of the medical (not socio-spiritual) blame for today's rise in homosexuality must fall upon the rise in soy formula and other soy products. (Most babies are bottle-fed during some part of their infancy, and one-fourth of them are getting soy milk!) Homosexuals often argue that their homosexuality is inborn because "I can't remember a time when I wasn't homosexual." No, homosexuality is always deviant. But now many of them can truthfully say that they can't remember a time when excess estrogen wasn't influencing them.

Although I do not adhere to the pre-tribulation Rapture theory, I would speculate that the resurrection bodies that we are "changed" into is a much more refined body that is able to move interdimensionally, being able to transmutate from energy to matter, and vice versa, somewhat like Christ's resurrection body.

I also have heard of people who have grown limbs miraculously without having to have any "replacement parts" available to have the miracle. All that would be needed to produce a resurrection body part is energy, not mass, so your donated body parts are safe in the recipients body....I think
