Quote# 67138

African Americans are largely descendants of the original Black Jews! The original Biblical Jews were Black African people who were ruthlessly persecuted by the white man (Romans). The prophet Jesus was a Black Jew who was born during this time. The Roman-Jewish War in A.D. 66 marked the peak of this persecution and the end of the original Black Jews (Hebrew-Israelites) as a nation. As predicted by Jesus, in this war Jerusalem was overthrown, the Temple was destroyed and the Black Hebrews were scattered. (Mat. 24:15-21, Luke 21: 5,6, 20-24)

Atheists how can you justify homosexuality?

"Love is Love" how many times have you heard this diatribe? NO Animal is the entire animal kingdom would even think about having gay sex, because the whole point of living is to breed, Homosexuality does not promote this, it makes it go back.. Lets go to logic class for all yall. 10 Dodo's are on a island, 5 are girls, 5 are guys, now if every single one of these birds were gay, then their species would die out. If only 1 of each gender was straight then breeding would be slow, and thus they have a higher increse as a species to die out. Love is only a chemical imbalance, it does not really exist, we just think it does except God's love, so technically you're "love is love" argument is flawed.

Additional Details
Yes, and every animal that does engage in homosexuality is endangered.

This is my last post here. I am finished with you.

You are the least of all the children. Practitioners of deceit, your souls are the devils playground. Your inequity permeates every syllable off your forked tongues; your lie is the only vestige of light left in you.

You have wasted everything of value and seeded ignorance as repayment. You are slaves to the darkness, open doorways for evil. You have rejected that which protects and heals you, now your life is in the hands of RUIN.

HIS day will come as a thief in the night. Repent now before its too late.

I saw that, and my heart broke for him (Glenn Beck). I prayed out loud, "God, help him" as he was choking back tears, looking for words. I believe he is absolutely sincere in how he feels and what he says. You can tell he really has a heart for his country. I feel the same way. He just puts words to how I feel/he feels. Plus, I'm a "nobody" and he is a well-known TV face/personality. Where nobody would likely listen to me, he has a wide audience. Maybe God is using him in these last days to try to wake people up from their Kool-Aid stupor. I pray it works!!

You claim that evolution and the big bang are two entirely separate theories that explain different aspects of the universe, yet, in what school of learning can you find any real separation or distinction between the two?

[Response to if court finds Prop 8 backers of discrimination]

The point of the lawsuit is ludicrous on it's face. Of course it's discrimination! The premise of Proposition 8 is discriminating against and immoral and unhealthy lifestyle that can do considerable harm to children and is endorsed by a very small percentage of the population in favor of a moral lifestyle which gives balance to children and naturally represents an overwhelming majority of the population.

(Concerning the bombing of the moon)

The reason for this is more interesting than you would think though... the scientists are hoping that if there is water it can sustain a moon colony, so that astronauts can launch research on the many fossils from earth that are undisturbed on the moon (Yes there actually is a lot of matter from earth on the moon).
This could even be neat for us all to learn about, as it should further prove that the flood of Noah happened and the Bible is true!

Young Christians, or those with children, what do you tell them about the Atheists?
I found this advice online:

If you find an Atheist in your neighborhood,
TELL A PARENT OR PASTOR RIGHT AWAY!

You may be moved to try and witness to
these poor lost souls yourself, however
AVOID TALKING TO THEM!

Atheists are often very bitter and will lash out at children or they may even try to trick you into neglecting God's Word.

Very advanced witnessing techniques are needed for them.
Let the adults handle them.

Quote# 67077

[A preacher responds to the news of an interracial couple being denied a marriage licence.]

My friends and my church members know what I believe about interracial marriage.

[...]

Now, for the record, this is what I believe about interracial marriage:

Is it sinful? No.

Is it wise? No.

Why?

1. It limits your effectiveness for the cause of Christ. I am a realist. Throw a dart at a US map. Whatever town it points to, go there. Choose a street. If you are white, take a negro counterpart and knock on doors. Introduce yourself as husband and wife. Try to share the gospel. Now, choose another street in the same town and go with a white counterpart. Gage the difference. Then ask yourself, "Why choose to pursue a relationship that will limit my effectiveness for reaching others with the Gospel of Jesus Christ?"

2. It does create a problem for the children. Period. And undeniably. Why do this?

3. Common sense. "Doth not nature itself teach you..." It is easy to decide that your inner discomfort with seeing a bi-racial couple is just some handed down racist views, but is it? (I know....to appear P/C you will swear you experience no inner conflict of discomfort.... but you do...) Or is it something else?

4. Parental guidance. Most of the bi-racial marriages are not embraced or blessed by both sets of parents. A young person -- who goes through with this knowing his/her parents do not agree with it -- dishonors his/her parents. As one young lady once told me, "When I found out my dad didn't want me dating a black man, I was the more determined to do so." Wow... that was of God....

If all of this still does not convince you..... try sorting socks until a light comes on.....

[re: Newlywed Game show has first gay couple]

There is only so much outrage one can voice before they have to realize that there is a bigger issue at play.

I don't care that this game show has decided to host a homosexual couple. I really don't. I'm no longer surprised, I'm no longer outraged...I just am surprised it hasn't happened yet.

Most Americans are opposed to homosexuality and even more to homosexual marriage. Yet the media doesn't care, they have pushed their agenda. Look at most of new shows out, homosexual couples are completely in the mix. The media elites don't care about your voice, your wallet, or your letters. They are deadset on pushing their culture.

For most Christians and citizens they realize this conundrum and just ignore the issue. At this point the media elites are running the issue into the ground. Yet they haven't really changed public opinion.

Quote# 67069

I find it troubling that so many Homosexual Activists (and other sexual deviants, for that matter) have attached themselves to the Libertarian movement. I think Libertarianism can and should promote values and liberty at the same time. To be sure, it is possible to support libertarian principles while opposing the Homosexual Agenda. In a true Libertarian society, government would criminalize homosexuality, which would consequently expand the liberties of Christians and other religious people to freely believe that homosexuality is a criminal offense. If homosexuality is not criminalized, then that limits my freedom to believe that it should be. I think that is the key here.

What are your thoughts on this? Do you believe the homosexual influence on the Libertarian platform has become too powerful, and what do you think we can do to curb it?

[Matthew 6] verse 22: Translating the reference to the dancer as a "bimbo" (or something similar) seems to fit the context. I wonder if the Greek word ever meant that. This may be a case where the Greek itself is inadequate and there may be richer options in English to choose from. It seems obvious what was meant and thus justified to convey what was meant despite inadequacies in the Greek

Quote# 67051

Nerves can grow about an inch per month, but their path is not guided. Anyone who has had severe nerve damage knows this. Example: When I was about 6 years old, my sister, who was around 10, was leaning up against a glass door which suddenly broke. The glass severed all her nerves in her wrist. They grew back. But she has places in her hand that still have no feeling. She is now 46 years old. If evolution and natural selection were so easy to happen, my sister's nerves would have all grown back perfectly. The DNA code was still there to go by on where everything was to go. But it did not, and she is left with a hand that does not completely work right. You can't tell by looking at it, but she is reminded everytime she goes to use it.

So as you look at each part of the brain, see if you can determine the order of evolution that would work for both the organs it controls, and how the brain would have had to evolve to control them. You will soon start to see that a quick creation, by a creator, would be the only way it would work.

Atheism has it's merits I admit, but Rationalism?

Rationalism is a crutch for weak minded people who are too big a punch of cowards to create their own reality and hence, they lazily submit to a reality that has been made for them instead of having the courage and making the effort to forge a reality of their own. Do enjoy waddling in your own emptiness and meaningless quest for meaning in a world that you simply accept, much like a pig waddles in it's own filth.

You mindlessly accept and never question the Dogma of the Scientific method, empirical evidence and all other forms of Rationalists BS and never look within, to the Heart.

Laughable, utterly laughable and pathetic.....and no,I am not attacking your Atheism, I am simply attacking your Rationalism and the fundamentalists viewpoint you obviously carry that Rationalism works best for EVERYBODY when perhaps it only works best for YOU. You seem to want to impose your own philosophy on the world and expect everyone else to conform with Logic, Reason, and a whole host of other nonsensical anti-human buzz words.

So today at work i was watching foxreport on fox news and they were talking about how religions/the church are doing their part to reduce H1N1 spread by doing such things as not handing out communion and not shaking hands at the door and such.

It was a pretty "meh" report like all the other H1N1 stuff flooding the airwaves lately till the very last line the reporter delivered. He said and i quote, "Looks like this one is going to take more than prayer"......WHAT??!?

I let out a shocked half laugh, half gasp. What more is there than prayer? What more is there than G-d??

Quote# 67023

You've got to realize that an atheist's perspective is by definition irrational and not therefore subject to "rational argument".

What I mean is this: Atheism is a universal negative which is a logical contradiction...and to affirm a logical contradiction is irrational...therefore there isn't a thing in the world that you can say from a "human" perspective; because any argument you present will be filtered from a view that has irrationality as its very foundation.

What you can do however is to speak the word of God...let that word do God's work. It has been my experience that people forget what I said...but once they hear the scripture it gets into their head and heart and can really "nag" at them.

Your friend probably gets quite agitated when you start quoting scripture (I've had people come completely un-glued on me)...but that's a good thing...because it tells me that the Holy Spirit is doing His job of bringing conviction to a hard heart.

If that wasn't the case, they wouldn't be so bothered by it, would they?

Therein lies the problem. You obviously spend much time in fantasy (TV, movies). If you spent half as much time in reading the bible as you spent watching fantasy, I don't think you'd have these ideas about aliens and such. You were born a Christian, not born gay. Religion is not a choice.

Or so the spokesman for House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-OH) would have you believe. Questioned about why the House's top Republican opposes a hate crimes bill penalizing violence against gays, his spokesman said he "supports existing federal protections (based on race, religion, gender, etc) based on immutable characteristics," just not protections for things like being gay -- which conservatives occasionally claim is a choice.

"He does not support adding sexual orientation to the list of protected classes," Boehner spokesman Kevin Smith added. The statement was made in an email to CBS News.

Marge Simpson, mother in the Fox cartoon The Simpsons, is on the front cover of the November issue of Playboy magazine, which hits newsstands today. AFA believes that using an animated character on the cover of a pornographic magazine is deceptive and harmful because it will attract the attention of children and create the kind of curiosity that can easily lead them into an addictive porn habit. What do you say?
