"Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then He is not omnipotent. Is He able, but not willing? Then He is malevolent. Is He both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is He neither able nor willing? Then why call Him God?"

I love this quote, made by a greek pedophile centuries after the old testament had been finished and clung to by generations of God-haters.

So you want God to stop you whenever you want to do something bad? You want him to make you into a robot and force you to love Him, is that what your idea of perfection is?

[About the sixth day of creation]

This means that each kind of dinosuar was created on the same day that god made the first two people, Adam and Eve! Do you realize what that means?
It means dinosuars and people lived toghether!

In a column yesterday in the Christian Post, Chuck Colson points out that public school sex educators indoctrinate children into a radical ideology commonly called “sexual freedom.” The result? Twenty-five percent of American girls now have sexually transmitted diseases. Even so, sex educators ignore the scientific data. I say it’s time to reign in public school sex education. What do you say?

[A response post on the Facebook fan page for "Revocation of tax-exempt status from churches engaging in political action."]

You could argue ALL churches engage in political action. Who would make that decision? People who practice (and push) the religion of Atheism just want to ruin everyone else's fun.
Yeah, but federal funding of abortions is ok? What about taxes on the Socialist government health option?

THE U.S.A. WAS FOUNDED ON CHRISTIAN PRINCIPALS. Separation of Church and State is a fallacy you fell for, hook, line, and sinker.

Quote# 67762

(A short excerpt of a much-longer article describing some of the cruelties of Ron Williams' school)

Several of the adult women living at Hephzibah House at this time actually stayed on as staff once the home began taking young girls. In fact, one woman is still on staff at Hephzibah House now, over 25 years later. In the late 1970's, HH began taking in young girls. Some of these girls were as young as 12 years old, and ranged up to about 18 years old. Still living at the School Street location, nearly 30 girls would be housed in the cramped upstairs of what is now the office of HH. Numerous former students from this time period have given explicit details of the treatment that they received. In the School Street house, everyone knew what "the Blue Room" was. This was the room where the girls were taken to receive their beatings. The girls living at School Street received beatings literally on a daily basis. Once the girls were in bed for the night, it became a waiting game, as each girl waited for her name to be called, indicating her turn to be taken down to the Blue Room. Each girl knew what was being done to the girl who was called down. They knew from having experienced it themselves. They also knew what was happening because they could hear the cries coming from the girl who was being beaten. These girls were beaten to the point of having bloody, oozing wounds on their backsides (buttocks, legs, and backs). These bloody wounds often had to be bandaged. The proof of these bloody wounds was evident in the trash cans, as girls would see the dressings from another girl's wounds. Several former students have recounted the story of one particular girl who got up from her folding chair to see that she had bled completely through her bandages and through her uniform onto the chair. This girl was one of the few who was able to successfully run away from Hephzibah House.

<<In reply to if evolution isn't true, how do you explain things like the blind spot in the human eye?>>

I don’t have a blind spot in my eye. Both of them see very well and I am thankful for the 137million light sensitive cells that make sight possible. Do you have a blind spot in your eye? If you do, I suggest that you see an optician and see if he can either fix it, or get you another eye.

[In response to "Some of the comments on this thread serve as evidence that laws protecting the rights of gays are sorely needed."]

They do not deserve nor should they get special treatment for their sexual deviancy. There is nothing that makes them special. I think we need a law that makes us all equal. Oh wait, we have that already. This is a load of bull stuff and I am surprised anyone is buying in to it. Homosexuality is a mental disorder, it was listed as such until about 40 years ago and nothing with the behavior has changed. No one is born gay or lesbian, it is a conscious choice made and a habit acquired though those choices. The Church says it is intrinsically disordered and I will not adjust my views from that because some politician's or group of liberal no it alls say so. I don't hate gays, I only wish they would stop acting like they are better than everyone else as well as shoving their sexuality on the world, it's beyond old now.

(Responding to another fundie who says he went to see "Paranormal Activity")

You open doorways to the demons that way.. and there probably was one or many there... In opening these doorways it is just like inviting satan to come live with you... just because you went home also doesn't mean the demonic forces didn't come with you and while prayer can work it still can be present in your home... You must call on the name of christ that all evil be commanded to leave your house and yourself and through that power in christ be banned.. This will help in driving them out but remember those chills you had are called discernment.. No I won't go see it as it's only purpose is to open the door to the Occult and to the demonic forces there are no ghosts nor familar spirits... I would encourge you to actively and openly discuss this with your pastor.. Do not let pride fear or shame deter you from that nor isolate you away from your church family

[Washington Post reporter interviews a creationist]

MARC KAUFMAN: What I would be very interested to hearing that how the issue of evolution first came up for you and how and why became such an important part of your life?

ADNAN OKTAR: Given the very explicit, solid evidence, Allah’s existence, creation is evident. This being the case, attempting to deceive all humanity, the world in general, claiming that the universe came into existence by chance is an extensive hoax. I realized the existence of a great plot hatched against the world. Even during the elementary school years I did not believe in evolution, the theory of evolution. During the college years I was more informed about it. However, the extensive research I made during the university years led me to see the existence of a very comprehensive conspiracy; a masonic plot was imposed upon the people in the world. There were 250 million fossils which we did not know about; we became aware of their existence. These fossils prove creation whereas not a single fossil exists that validates evolution. Not a single one. I examined the structure of proteins; their coming into existence by chance is impossible. So I decided to make people aware of this plot and proclaim it by my works, books and articles.

Letter to the Editor: Stop rocketing into space; that will help with weather

So much is being said and written about all the flooding problems with so many solutions to those problems that I think we should build a dome completely over North Dakota and put in a sprinkler system for the land. Set the dome bottoms on all the waterways so the dome would restrict any water more than what the waterways could without flooding.

Or on the other hand we could just stop all rocketing into space, that would curtail the flooding problems. Germany invented the rocket in 1929. They wanted to stick something in the giant blue above our heads (well today it is mostly gray and cloudy), we had the Dirty ’30s, could not beg a decent rain. This happened again in 1988 after Russia put up the Mir space station. I read where we had the least amount of moisture ever. Now NASA can’t blast off enough and we are mud city.

The Bible talks about the Tower of Babel, where the people of that era were going to build a tower to the heavens. The Almighty confused them and they gave up on that. If NASA would do that at least it wouldn’t be breaking a law of the earth, the speed of sound. And we would have something to look at for all the billions NASA spends. Not to mention all the money the world could save from rebuilding and redoing because of the weather devastations. Climate change is rocketry and not pollution. Wake up!

[Comment in response to a poll question: "Do you believe in evolution?"]

Hmm, we should define the meaning of evolution here:
a.) Change from bacteria to bacteria or virus to virus
b.) Change from bacteria to bacteriologist or virus to virologist

I am not against the first definition. However, I am against the second definition.

The first definition is usually called mutation. It is scientific and observable.
The second definition is non-observable and non-scientific as there is no evidence to it.

The key differences:

a.) The first definition: there is no additional information in the genome (in fact, most of the time, it is loss of information in the genome)
b.) The second definition: there is additional information in the genome.

a.) The first definition does not violate second law of thermodynamics.
b.) The second definition violates second law of thermodynamics (how can ordered structure-especially in terms of stereochemistry-such as DNA and enzyme arise from a pool of blind chemicals?)

Quote# 67896

Not in the least. Anyone who has read Genesis knows that man was created to be like God. That means Adam had all of the knowledge of God. Ancient man was a race of super geniouses. If you look at ancient Sumerian (the first archeologically known civilization) tablets, you will see maps of the solar system, accurate descriptions of planets we just visited in this last century, pictures of rocketships, accurate depictions of men in space suits and much more. There is even evidence that a ship of some kind had a collision many thousands of years in the past with one of the moons, and that is what caused it to go in a reverse orbit. Man was in space LONG before NASA. However, the bible also calls Satan the prince of the power of the air, so man is not the only thing that has been in space. Demons are also there. So, I don't see how believing the bible would be a problem for Christianity, no.

The question of homosexual rights has been addressed many times, from Genesis to Leviticus to Romans.

So who said that homosexuality is wrong? The God that created the world, created you and me; the God that placed the stars in place; the God that requires punishment for sin. God is the judge. God said homosexuality is wrong. That is the final answer.

Quote# 67864

Sullivan was working as an analyst at the Veterans Benefits Administration in Washington in early 2005 when he was called to a meeting with a top political appointee at the VA, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Policy Michael McLendon. McLendon, an intensely focused man in a neatly pressed suit, kept a Bible on his desk at the office. Sullivan explained to McLendon and the other attendees that the rise in benefits claims the VA was noticing was caused partly by Iraq and Afghanistan veterans who were suffering from PTSD. “That’s too many,” McLendon said, then hit his hand on the table. “They are too young” to be filing claims, and they are doing it “too soon.” He hit the table again. The claims, he said, are “costing us too much money,” and if the veterans “believed in God and country . . . they would not come home with PTSD.” At that point, he slammed his palm against the table a final time, making a loud smack. Everyone in the room fell silent.

The new leftist reasoning:

Homosexuals deserve our respect soley because of the way they abuse their sexual equipment and flaunt natural law.

It matters not if they are worthy, honest, honorable people or if they are unworthy, dishonorable crooks or pederasts. A long as they engage in sexual perversions with members of their own gender they deserve the respect of society at large.

And any retro retard left over from the age of the Flintstones who doesn't see the beauty and wonder of homosexual perversions is just a hate mongering homophobe who probably was around to support the impeachment of Chief Justice Earl Warren back in America's sexual Dark Ages.
