Kabul, 9 March (AKI) - Afghanistan's Supreme Court has upheld a 20-year jail term for blasphemy handed to Afghan journalist Sayed Parwez Kambakhsh, who claimed men and women were equal. Kambakhsh's brother said the family had just learned of the closed-door ruling delivered a month ago in the absence of Yaqub Kambakhsh, his lawyer or family members, the Information Safety and Freedom media watchdog reported on Monday.

If you are a parent who has read the Bible, and believes it to be the inerrant Word of God, then this book is for you. The Bible teaches us, in no uncertain terms, that we are to "Train our children up in the way they should go". Biblically, there is use of a "rod" or other implement that is used for spanking. This is NOT hitting or anything even close to it. It is carefully controlled, calm spanking that is issued on the bottom or upper thigh. The Bible promotes this. But, it does not just start or end in spanking. Spanking is a tool God has given us to help us direct our children, but it is not the ONLY tool. It is critical to spend time with your children, getting to know them, by having them close to you (tomato staking), and leading them in paths of righteousness. Love on your kids everyday, all day, by having them near to you. Don't send them off to their rooms, don't send them away to day care, don't send them off to school. Keep them with you and near you where you can see each attitude and problem as it comes up, and lovingly correct, whether through training a different attitude, sending to a corner, or spanking, or all of the above.

i dont have any stories to tell, but i know that our weekend dinner outs are going to have to stop. Every weekend we go out to dinner, and i just feel like a fight is going to start. My husband is a big man, not fat, just big. He is clearly a republican. he is looks like a biker. (and was back in the day, kinda) his leather jacket has CHRISTIAN patches on it. The two donimate ones are one on each sleeve and that are crosses with the words Jesus above the cross and Forever at the bottom.

So God hating, obama loving liberals sneral at my husband. I can see that his size intemidates them or they would say some thing to him. Enough together of the young punks in a group and im sure something would be said.

My husband wont start a fight , but he is a bully enough to say something if the person is a rude in traffic or something ( them with a Obama sticker on the car) and we end up in the same parking lot at the end.

it is just to much. what use to be my nice nights out, have become just more Drama then i care to deal with.

I will be staying home more.

I am inclined to disagree with the reviewer who felt the book read like a "1950's Home Ec. Book." I'm in my late 20's, and while the book is not written with the modern feminist movement in mind, it is still a great book with wonderful ideas. Yes, women were created to be a "help-mate" for men, specifically, to our husbands. Women were/are instructed by the Apostle Paul to respect and to submt ourselves to our husbands, which is what Mrs. George emphasizes.

As for being "physically available" for our husbands, not only is it Biblical - but in the book, Mrs. George is referring to women who withhold sex from their husbands as "punishment" for some transgression.
As for the comment that the author commends a woman for dropping out of Bible study to spend time with her husband, it was taken out of context. In the book, a friend of the author had to choose between her Wednesday "morning out/ladies brunch/Bible study" and spending the day with her husband, whose day off fell on Wednesday.

I commend the author for standing up for the traditional marriage relationship. No, everything she says won't work for every couple, but the main idea is to make your husband your #2 priority (after God - of course) I believe that author makes a very good argument for the relationship between a husband and wife. So often in marriages the couple grows apart and children, careers, and selfish behavior take over.

"I saw 7 minutes of a BBC documentary. They managed to portray a piece
of grassy meadow in terms of a bloodcurling struggle for survival.
This is not science anymore just Nazism. This bloodthirsty vision of
nature is not accurate, meadows are not really like this, it is just
the Nazi view of things. Pure evil. Its crystal clear the Darwinists
caused the holocaust by teaching the Hitler youth natural selection."

Nicolas, you say you believe in both God and evolution. Exactly what "god" are you talking about? It certainly isn't the God of the Bible, as the God of the Bible is kind, compassionate, fair, forgiving, and loves unconditionally. The "god" of theistic evolution is wicked, wasteful, and stupid. Why would God use evolution, which is a religion of death, to create things? Also, as far as REAL scientific facts that go against the evolution theory are concerned, here's one for you to chew on: Animals never produce anything but their own kind. For example, dogs never produce anything but dogs. Have you ever seen a dog give birth to a chicken? Have you ever seen a hamster give birth to an apple (or vice versa?). Also, when was the last time you saw a news story with a headline that read like this: "Polar Bear Gives Birth to Cactus"?

I have this at home with my liberal husband. I cannot say ANYTHING about politics. He gets completely unhinged and I do not want him raising his blood pressure. I promised him I would never bring up politics up again. And to think, THEIR man is in power. You would think they would relax a bit. But, no, everything is the Republicans fault. They wear me out with their constant simmering anger bordering on violence. I've decided that liberal Democrats are pure emotion and no reason. They are incapable of holding a sane, normal discussion about politics. Incapable. It's almost like the powers of darkness have overcome their reason, which it probably has. I feel as we get closer to meeting our Lord in the air, the lines are being drawn in the sand. "Chose today whom you will serve..."

People die . Perverse spirits, demons need a body to fulfil lustful desires and when given a place to have legal ground to possess a person such demons can infest a person to such an extent that they become zombie like under demonic influence.

...

When a person is under demonic possession they are driven to indulge in sexual perversion that debases the reproductive act of procreation just to satisfy demonic lusts that will condemn them to hellfire like the wicked population of Sodom and Gomorrah.

...

They couldnot stop the judgement fire of God. God destroyed those filthy dreamers witj fire and brimstone. Archeologists have found radioactive particles in the burnt ashes of the remains of Sodom and Gomorrah.

What will destroy the world in the end times ?
Fire. The heavens will be dissolved with fervent heat.

Transexuals are gay men who dress as woman and then "do whatever" with men !
Gay men who are compelled to dress as a female , yet sleep with men ... Genetics strike again !

Why am I grouping them together ? because by my estimation they are deviations all !

I dont really care how many different species homosexuality can be documented in.. ! That doesn't prove that its normal behavior...in fact, the rarity of it in most species should prove that its not !

Im not homophobic...Im anti gay rights ! Men and Women already have rights and that covers everyone I can think of ...there is no reason for sub groups to attain special rights and thats what gay marriage is all about !

Well, I have no problem with newfangled idears, as long as those idears are based on good evidence. And 1800 years before Darwin came along, the Bible warned us to beware of science falsely so called. It's obvious the Bible knew long ago that some in science would try to pass off ideas that would attempt to show the Bible to be false, when in fact, it was the science that is false. And this science is now being pushed without any clear evidence of it's truth. And the evidence we are told to believe in, is based on nothing but speculation. A bone here, a fragment there, and the next thing we have, is a whole new story of how man evoloved. The Bible of course has much more evidence for it's truth, yet that evidence is ignored. And it is ignored, even when historical discovery shows us it is true.

Just my personal assessment, but I think the "save the earth" heavy environmentalism mantra is basically a religion, as is "evolution". These are alternate gods to worship: "anything but the LORD, the CREATOR of the earth!! It is part of the New Age movement (New Spirituality/religion of Oprah) where all is one, the earth is a spiritual entity (Gaia) and you are part of the cosmos spiritually, etc. It is simply, IDOLATRY, the breaking of the first and second commandments, and fulfilling Romans 1.

It is also my understanding that the original meaning of the symbol of the "peace sign" is/was actually an occultic symbol of the broken, upside down cross of Christ, representing the defeat (they wish) of Jesus Christ.

But He will defeat all who hate him and His sheep! (us).
Praise Jesus, the creator of the earth, the creator of all things, our salvation!
Thank you Lord, for the cross. Praise Jesus!!

If Genesis is true, we are descendants of an incestuous relationship. However, if evolution is true, we are descendants of a bestial relationship - the first man/woman to evolve had to mate with a sub-human (i.e. beast) partner of the opposite sex.

(CNN) -- Saudi Arabia's religious police detained two male novelists for questioning last week after they attempted to get the autograph of a female writer at a book fair in Riyadh, according to local media reports.
According to the Saudi daily newspaper Al-Watan, Abdu Khal and Abdullah Thabet approached female writer Halima Muzfar when they were stopped by police.
Both novelists, who were held for questioning but not charged with a crime, are demanding an apology from the conservative Muslim kingdom's Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice.
The commission, feared by many Saudis, is made up of several thousand religious policemen charged with, among other things, enforcement of dress codes, mandatory observance of prayer times and segregation of the sexes.
Saudi Arabia follows a strict interpretation of Islam called Wahhabism and punishes unrelated men and women who are caught mingling in public.

The "peace" sign is from witchcraft, It comes from a ritual they do when someone from a "church" upbringing wants to join a coven. The witches get antsy and a little uneasy when someone that wasn't raised in witchcraft wants to join, so they take a cross (usually made out of clay) and make the initiate turn it upside down and break the sides down, to signify the rejection of Christianity. This gives the coven "peace" that the person is 100% into it. That's why the symbol is also referred to as a "broken cross' by witches. So remember this the next time your kid tries to tell you it's just a cool hippie symbol.

But you know what's really difficult? Being a straight, Christian, white male, who has consentual missionary position sex with his wife.

Quote# 60248

From the beginning, the producers of television have had an agenda. Even in the most “harmless” of shows, alternative lifestyles are being promoted. Consider, for example, “The Andy Griffith Show.” The show centers around a single parent who lives with his aunt. Admittedly, his wife supposedly died, and he is not divorced. However, we are still being desensitized to the idea of a single parent which is neither the norm nor God’s plan. The show also features a character, Gomer Pile, who is played by a man who is a homosexual in real life.

Consider the show “The Odd Couple” from the 1960’s. Aside from sinful content, we are being exposed to an alternative lifestyle of two men living together as roommates. Genesis 2:24 tells us God’s normal plan, “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.” Although neither man in the show is a homosexual, this show was obviously a forerunner of the sitcoms of today which feature homosexual characters.

Consider “The Brady Bunch.” The show is about a widowed man and a widowed woman who have three children each. Now they are married and have six children collectively. This is an extremely rare scenario but mirrors the very common scenario of divorce and remarriage. We are subliminally being exposed to the idea of stepparents and stepchildren which is far more common in divorced situations than in the rare circumstance of young widows.

Sorry, but I reject your leftist definition of "love," which isn't how traditional love is defined or expressed.

Conservatives offer love unconditionally. That's why conservatism lends itself to nationalism and nationalistic pride.

Leftists do not believe in unconditional love, so they'll say they "love" a country while at the same time they rip it apart with harsh criticism. Sorry, but you wouldn't treat a truly loved one that way.

The former is the traditional view of love, while the latter is the sick and twisted post-modernist view, which is likely why so many people cannot endure the responsibilities of matrimony. They would rather make a lifelong commitment to a political ideology than to another person, which is also rather sick and twisted.

You either love or hate something. There is never an in-between
