[Upon being found guilty of second-degree reckless homicide for refusing to give her daughter insulin for religious reasons.]

"My faith in God does not waver in the midst of this storm. We have peace in God, regardless of the decision made yesterday. Our emotions do not hinge on how, or if, the rest of the world approves of our actions. We live for God’s approval alone, standing with the apostles and many others willing to be thrown into the fiery furnace if need be, but we WILL NOT worship or bow down to any other God. I did what I thought was lawful. I didn’t realize it would be a crime to pray for my daughter. I didn’t realize the medical experts for the prosecution would consider me a medical expert concerning my daughter’s condition. I have never read a medical book. I do not watch TV and, therefore, have never seen a medical show. I do not know what a coma is, nor was I saying this word. This word came out through the press and other witnesses. Later on Sunday, I recognized a change in Kara’s condition, as we witnessed the deep sleep and a completely limp body, but for reasons some may not understand, I was not fearful -- thinking this was something my daughter could fully recover from. Again, I did not understand what the changes in Kara’s body meant, whether good or bad, so we sought for answers from God. Doctors themselves depend on modern medical equipment to help them develop a diagnosis and determine the condition of a patient after many tests. My leaning is spiritual, so I, along with others, did believe God would supply the answers through prayer.

"This trial was completely unfair, in our opinion, and it is going to take a higher power to bring Righteous Justice. I have given Brian Gordan, my stepfather, the liberty to be my spokesman in the natural realm to fight against the injustice of these actions against us. I, along with many others who believe in True Justice, will continue to fight on in the spiritual realm. The battle is far from over and the verdict shows us how much more work needs to be done in our fight for religious freedom and parental liberty of decent, law-abiding citizens who love their children."

[About an ordinance to ban discrimination against gays in Anchorage]

Here are just some of the reasons I am against the homosexual ordinance.

It would allow any man to dress like a woman and use any public women's restroom. Ladies, do you want that to happen? If not then you should contact the Anchorage Assembly and show up at the June 9 public hearing.

A man in a highly visible sales job could come to work dressed like a woman.

A person of either sex who indulges a taste for extreme sexual promiscuity and pornography during working hours could not be stopped or fired even though it damages the company's image.

Maybe, worst of all, this ordinance would allow a man who teaches a second grade class or any grade to show up as a woman in the classroom and the School District could do nothing because of this ordinance.

Muslim leaders say Islam should be the only faith to use it, saying its use in other faiths could lead to confusion and conversions.

Do gays pushing for gay marriage realize what they are asking Christians to accept?

They are asking not only for sodomy to be recognized as normal, but on top of that they are asking that the traditional relationship between man and woman where children are created is to be legally synonymous with two sodomites engaging in what God's word calls a grave sin.

I've heard it said that white people don't have culture. That is a lie. White people have a Christian culture that is being torn apart at the seams by special interest groups such as this. You don't hear about Jewish or Muslim people pushing for gay marriage recognition in Israel or Iran. But for some reason it is being pushed in America and Europe.

You know, I was out doing something I found meaningful the other day... I came across a gentlemen and we briefly chatted. He used to be a high school teacher--something he found purpose and meaning in doing--but he resigned his position. He quit on principle. The school in which he taught pushed the same kind of agenda that this school in Alameda is trying to push on Kindergartners. He described to me the aftermath... a bunch of confused teenagers who wore their bi-sexuality like clothes--as if it were a fashion accessory that came and went in or out of season. It wasn't about being homosexual or being straight... the lines were blurred between the two. Sexual orientation was all a fad. The most troubling was the ones who were most hurt by this confusion. This was evident by the suicide attempts--some successful, some not. In all good conscious, this man could not stay... so he took the bold move and resigned. I should say--that in a city with a 12% unemployment rate... that says a lot for this man.

The Bible: a book of hate that will be banned?

If the Sodomites are allowed to be married and their act of copulation is viewed as an alternative lifestyle how long will it take the Bible to be banned since it condemns these actions. Wouldn't it be classified as a book of hate?

I can tell you, I had no Godly training on how to chose a husband and I don't think anyone else in my family did either. So, really, I chose my husband, I didn't wait for God to chose him for me. In a way, I think many women make their own choice thinking on their emotions instead of waiting on God. This is how they get "stuck" with the abuser.

(when subsequently challenged over the Crusades:) Ummmmmm, FYI, The Crusades were done by Catholics, not christians. Yes most everybody puts Christians all in one catogory with the catholics, but there is a huge difference. The fact that we use the same religiouse book (sort of) dose not matter.

Dear Margo: Our daughter started college a year ago, and we’ve noticed during her visits home that she’s not the sweet, innocent girl we sent away for higher learning. We raised her with strong Christian beliefs, but lately she’s saying that she’s joined an atheist club on campus and is questioning everything we taught her. Now my husband refuses to let her in the house and is threatening to turn her in to the FBI. I’ve tried to cure our daughter and reconcile with her, but nothing seems to work. I’ve prayed over her at night while she sleeps, enlisted friends in a phone prayer tree and even spoken to my priest about the possibility of an exorcism. I’m at my wits’ end. How can I recover my daughter and keep her from hell? — God-fearing

Our son was in boy scouts for a little over one year.. During the second year, December rolled around and the parents starting planning a party.. We would exchange presents, eat good stuff and play games.. We offered to have the "Christmas party" at our house and provide all the food... The leader said it would have to be called a "Gift Exchange" and nothing more.. hmmm.. We argued that if it was to be at our house, it would be a Christmas Party.

The next day, an email was sent out and the "Gift Exchange" was to be held at the Leader's house. Our son decided to quit that night.. he didn't understand why it couldn't be called a "Christmas Party" ...he was 8 at the time. None of the boys in our troops came from non-christian families so it didn't make sense to us either.

Boy Scouts are supposed to open to ALL religions.. even Christianity. That was our argument to the Leader, but it fell on deaf ears. Two other boys dropped out also.

(Fundie believes dinosaur fossils are a hoax)

The possibility exists that living dinosaurs never existed. "Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth” (Mark 9:23).

The dinosaur industry should be investigated and questions need to be asked. I am unaware of any evidence or reason for absolutely believing dinosaurs ever were alive on earth. The possibility exists that the concept of prehistoric living dinosaurs has been a fabrication of nineteenth and twentieth century people possibly pursuing an evolutionary and anti-Bible and anti-Christian agenda.

The past existence of living dinosaurs has not yet been proven. Questioning what is being told instead is a better choice rather than blindly believing the dinosaur story. Issues should be carefully considered for the sake of good science. "O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called” (1 Timothy 6:20).

The choice between believing the word of man, the evolutionists, or the word of God, the Bible, is a matter of faith.

Christian Conservative Politicians

I want Christian Conservative Politicians to run for office that state they will represent good people and rebuke/execute evil people.

I want a Christian Conservative Politician that will represent the Christian side in the Cultural War.

There is a cultural war in America between Christians and Atheists. This war is being fought on the battlefield of politics. The battles are in the voting booth. The prize in the cultural war is the hearts, minds and souls of the children. The Atheistic liberal news media greatly influences both domestic and foreign policy by constantly reporting only bad news about Christians, Conservatives and Republicans and only good news about atheists, liberals and democrats. The agenda of the Atheistic liberal news media is to promote evolution, extreme environmentalism, socialism, feminism, pornography, abortion, adultery, homosexuality and the Atheistic Lifestyle by having democrats in control of government.

[...]

The government should rebuke evil as in the Stop Smoking campaign where people are told, "Is there anything dumber than smoking". There needs to be a similar program for adultery, homosexuality, obesity, etc.

The Church needs to rebuke sin/evil in obedience to God and the government needs to rebuke evil because of health and safety reasons.

Quote# 62630

The Bible states that the beings of the heavens came down to earth and defiled themselves with woman and had giants as offspring and taught man many sinful things. The punishment was to be thrown out into the waste land and pile on large stones to trap them into the depths of the earth. They were also forbidden to have any more interaction with the humans.

This is the reason for the original Pyramids to cap the entrance of where they were cast into the earth to be held until the coming judgement for their acts. This is also the reason there are different Pyramids around the different regions of the earth. I would even venture to say that if we were to count the original ancient Pyramids we would come very close to the number of heavenly beings that came to earth and defiled themselves and were cast into the earth. Further I would say that the reason for each Pyramid to have a different astrological significance and being built in direct alignment with there original constellation in the heavens is because that's where they came form. Also the date can be calculated as of to the alignment of when they were cast down.

The Bible is a divine book with several messages and to me the most important besides the actual existence of God is that it is a History book and history always repeats itself.

Look one time at EZEKIEL 1 it tells of God riding in on an extraterrestrial machine and giving instructions to warn thous around him. He is also told latter in the book that if the people he gives the messages to warn others does not warn them, that they themselves will die.

Again look at the message in Revelations , it calls for the destruction of the surface of the earth and the cleansing of the human race. This tells me not only has it happened before but it will soon happen again.

The messages are once again coming in from the same source and once again most of society is not listening. The exact messenger as before in the form of an extraterrestrial machine has left what we call crop circles and these can be easily seen as signs of warning of the coming devastation.

The first crop circle I saw that gave me no doubt of this warning was the one of a simple triangle with a circle around each tip. This is clearly the sign for shelter. I started looking at other crop circles and of course found many to be misleading and more than likely fake, but some are truly fascinating and elaborate with definite links to the Mayan calendar and other ancient cultures. This is not to be taken lightly and if God delivered his messages in the past with this method I for one plan to listen to them.

I am for some reason getting these and other messages from like a thought that is not mine for about a month and would like some help to process them. Thank You

I think people are hurting and lonely because they need the Lord Jesus Christ in their lives, hearts, need to be born again. I don't think hugs or kisses are going to make it better. The Lord intended us to keep the huggin/kissing to our spouse. Hugs between women sure but men and women who ain't married should not be coppin a free feel (lets be honest here). This huggin campaign whatever it is - it's not aboat giving out hugs - it is about soliciting them. They are attempting to turn women into prostitutes who give it away for free. Just cause we want something does not mean it is right to have. Just because we wish we could touch everything we see does not mean that is what the Lord intended us to do, touch every piece of flesh we see whether it be a hug, smooch, whatever. Tvs gotta get turned off folks along with all the trash on the kiddie flicks.

Smoking is questionable because it doesn't affect everyone the same way. Drinking does not need to be illegal, but getting drunk should remain so, yes.

[Yeah, but that's the thing. Promoting polygyny narrows it down by making sure women don't have the same rights, thus keeping them enslaved.]

I didn't write the bible and the MEN that did write it were writing what God told them. And you're the one that would keep single women from having a husband. Yes, Social Security can take care of them.

It is not a matter of women belonging to man versus women being independent. It is either women belong to man or women belonging to the State.

Those telling the lie to woman that she can get a better deal by 'working for herself' always leave out that no one wants to marry an old spinster. That is why Match.com and other dating websites are making money hand over fist. Its because these women that either put off marriage till late in life or divorced their husbands thinking they would trade up have begun to realize they were sold some magic beans.

Woman was not made independent. When she was made, the man was already here. As the writer or I Corinthians puts it, Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man, 11:9.

Actually, I think this is the crux of evolution theory. It is a theory cloaked in "bait and switch" word semantics. I often hear that evolution "has no goal". Nevertheless, whenever the mechanisms of mutations and natural selection are modeled in a computer program, I am able to uncover the "goal" in the program code every time. Something is amiss. Why can't someone design a generator that spawns two random binary files. Execute both of these files and see if they communicate. More than likely they will crash without a proper PE header, but if so, delete them and start the process over again. Perhaps eventually, one program will produce some stdout and say, "I'm alive!", "Viva Las Vegas!", or "I want to marry the other binary. Please don't delete her (or it)."

The hateful emotion and blatant bigotry directed at those who believe in God's creation by those who cling to a worn-thin theory of Darwinism only reveal how weak their position is and how much even they sense this. True security in belief does not result in irrational words and deeds, such as those posted here and elsewhere by folks outraged that someone would dare to disagree with them. Their "science" is actually a religion.

If they had any real science to talk about, why are they not posting that? No one has adequately answered how the first protein formed out of inorganic matter - or how the inorganic matter originally emerged.

Genuine scientific inquiry is shut down by the same people who attack Christians for believing the evidence of creation revealing the truth of God's Word.

I wouldn't be moved a bit even if some alleged link were found. There were plenty of odd creatures destroyed in the Flood, which is referenced in ancient cultures around the world and by the oldest written communication: The Epic of Gilgamesh. The most unique aspect of humanity is the soul.
