My husband was brought up in a devout Christian home, but somewhere in his teens, he decided to rebel and got heavily into the occult and witchcraft. He got to the point
of status of Warlock in a local coven, casting spells, etc. One night he was sitting in his room alone evoking spirits when he realized that something came in with considerable power. The room turned ice cold, a horrible smell of sulfur filled the room, and he saw a very large manifested being. While this was something that he normally would be accepting of, he felt a great sense of evil that he never had before. He actually got scared, so he turned immediately to his witches bible to see what could be done to get rid of this thing.
(Stay with me now, this is where it gets exciting!!!!)
As he opened the book, it led him to somewhere near the end, and it told him that there were several options he could use, however in this case, the only option that would really work with this sort of thing was to "Quote scripture from the Holy Bible" and it actually gave verses to recite. My husband doesn't remember the verses, he knows that the presence left, and from that moment on, from that encounter, God changed him. My husband, of course, shares this testimony much better than me, but for awhile he sat there and contemplated. If a book which promises so much power and control, has to ultimately use the Bible to thwart off itself, then where does the real power lie, only with God Himself!

1 - The Big Bang theory is based on theoretical extremes. It may look good in math calculations, but it can’t actually happen. A tiny bit of nothing packed so tightly together that it blew up and produced all the matter in the universe. Seriously now, this is a fairy tale. It is a bunch of armchair calculations, and nothing else. It is easy to theorize on paper. The Big Bang is a theoretical extreme, just as is a black hole. It is easy to theorize that something is true, when it has never been seen and there is no definitive evidence that it exists or ever happened. Let us not mistake Disneyland theories for science.

2 - Nothingness cannot pack together. It would have no way to push itself into a pile.

3 - A vacuum has no density. It is said that the nothingness got very dense, and that is why it exploded. But a total vacuum is the opposite of total density.

4 - There would be no ignition to explode nothingness. No fire and no match. It could not be a chemical explosion, for no chemicals existed. It could not be a nuclear explosion, for there were no atoms!

5 - There is no way to expand it. How can you expand what isn’t there? Even if that magical vacuum could somehow be pulled together by gravity, what would then cause the pile of emptiness to push outward? The "gravity" which brought it together would keep it from expanding.

6 - Nothingness cannot produce heat. The intense heat caused by the exploding nothingness is said to have changed the nothingness into protons, neutrons, and electrons. First, an empty vacuum in the extreme cold of outer space cannot get hot by itself. Second, an empty void cannot magically change itself into matter. Third, there can be no heat without an energy source.

7 – The calculations are too exacting. Too perfect an explosion would be required. On many points, the theoretical mathematical calculations needed to turn a Big Bang into stars and our planet cannot be worked out; in others they are too exacting. Knowledgeable scientists call them "too perfect." Mathematical limitations would have to be met which would be next to impossible to achieve. The limits for success are simply too narrow.

Matching of continental borders has been a primary reason why continental drift was initially accepted by scientists. But *Corliss explains that the "matching coastlines" proof is no proof at all.

I know this may sound strange but last night I was fixing my supper and the TV was on the teen awards of some sort. They gave out an award for something or another for best what ever. The recipient was a transvestite and it was thanking all the fags for voting for it for this award. My point is that I was appalled on how acceptable this behavior is even to teens and small children on prime time television. I wonder how many parents were watching this with their kids.

The award show actually shocked me. Even more so no one is saying anything about this. Homosexuality has been around for thousands of years I realize but to be so in your face with this behavior around children is just plain wrong.

Never needed the gospel to be candy coated, because it doesn't taste bad. I can only say that by putting my faith in God and in the scripture's, everything written as far as promises for my life are concerned come true. My prayer's are answered and all my needs are met. People from all different backgrounds and beliefs notice that I am blessed and often ask me why, and I have to tell them that my solution is Jesus. If he doesn't exist what should I do next? Turn my back on him since my prayer to heal my cancer was answered and I'm alive and cancer free for 10 years now. Reject him after I received an unexpected $250000 as an answer to prayer from a company merit award at a time when I was financially broken. A lot of my associates are filing bankruptcy while my business is turning away clients because we can't keep up with demand. And why are we succeeding? Because we have a promise that non believers don't have, Isaiah 45:3 "I will give you the treasures of darkness, riches stored in secret places,so that you may know that I am the LORD".

Each to his own and I wish you all well, but atheism has never been able to explain why the bible works and why it is prophetically so accurate.

It is illegal and against the word of God. I don't want my child who is 9 years old to go to the same school with the child whose godfather is Satan. No, no! I shall not tolerate this any longer! You atheists walk the earth only to blaspheme His Holy Name and His only Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost! How dare you? Live your pathetic lives and only when you surrender your life to the Christ shall you proliferate by the blessing of the Church.

Healthcare is a RESPONSIBILITY.

Each individual and family bears the responsibility of healthcare for themselves, where in a free market they can pick and choose from among competing providers for the benefits and payments that best suit their individual needs, and where they have personal choice and authority over their own health and healthcare. No government panel decides what meds they can or cannot have - or whether their lives are "worth" the dollars spent to treat them.

When liberals try to turn a personal responsibility into a universal right, we end up with SOCIALISM.
