*Gay Marriage in DC*

This is so infurating! and disgusting! The sick thing is these people think they are married and they will never be married, marriage is sacred in the eye's of the Lord only Blessed between a man and a woman....they are living in sin, in abomination...but I pray that their eyes, heart's and souls are opened to the truth, and to his will, alone. I was thinking maybe if we all pray for these woman and others that are going to these cermonies at the court house, I know that pray is powerful, and it will make a difference...

Darwinism is a flat out bizzare case indeed,
There is absolutly no proof to any of it, and those claiming otherwise, know there is no proof, which makes them really spooky. If anything they prove some kind of satan entity, and send me running straight for god, so Darwinism backfired, ha. Hey maybe that's the magic of God?

Marital sex tends toward the boring end. Generally, it doesn't deliver the kind of sheer sexual pleasure that homosexual sex does. If you isolate sexuality as something solely for one's own personal amusement, if all you want is the most satisfying orgasm you can get, then homosexuality seems too powerful to resist.

[Re: School cancels prom after a lesbian student seeks to attend with her girlfriend while wearing a tuxedo.]

Personally i agree with the school because i feel she was trying to go into a community where she knows moral convictions are against her lifestyle, and force them not only to admit her but to accept it as normal, essentially spiting in the face of the values of the community. She had no regard for their feelings on the issue. Its like sticking your nose some place it doesn't belong. Its sort of like a white supremacist going to a Harlem school demanding to wear a shirt with the confederate flag on it and swastikas, and then demanding he be allowed to do that every day, essentially saying "learn to live with it". People can always move, why do they have to force people to throw away their values and adopt theirs?

I won't expand on why i agree with the school other than i have my own reasons as well, so as not to get flammed here.

[Note that this article was written for children.]

Scientists recently uncovered the fossilized footprints of an animal in southeastern Poland. It had feet and appeared to walk like a four legged creature. Why is this important?

It's important because some scientists have dated the fossilized footprints ten million years earlier than Tiktaalik, a fish-like creature that they believed was the “missing link” between water-dwelling creatures and land-dwelling creatures. Finding “older” fossil footprints, indicating that animals were already walking on land, makes these scientists doubt that Tiktaalik was first to begin walking on land.

Evolutionary scientists have made up an interesting story about how they believe fish eventually became land animals. They tell us that fish, living in water with low oxygen, first developed lungs. How could this happen? How could fish grow lungs so that they could breathe air? Then, supposedly, these fish changed their fins into front legs, to drag themselves out onto land.

The evolution story reads like a science fiction novel, and it is hard to believe that some scientists can present these theories and expect people to unquestionably believe them. When people turn away from God and His account of creation, they become “willingly ignorant.” The strangest ideas can be accepted as fact—even the idea that fish decided to grow all the body parts they needed to survive on land!

[In a review of Victor Stenger's book "God: The Failed Hypothesis"]

Victor Stenger is a physicisist and therefore does not have the values and common-sense way of talking that me and my friends have - this angers me.

What makes me even angrier is that Victor seems to think that just by knowing "stuff" he can show that the gospels are wrong and there is no God. He should be more humble and admit that me and my friends are 100% right that God exists and that science cannot explain mysteries such as thought or how birds fly. Only through the eyes of faith can we really understand that Stenger doesn't know what he's talking about, because by believing in Jesus we strengthen our beliefs that we have the answers and Stenger and secular humanists should stop dissing us - this is a Christian country and they are guests.

Also, do not think that the false guess of evolution is true, because Charles Darwin thought of that while on opium and never practiced good science like Jesus and the apostles did. If evolution were true, Jesus would have told us about it, since he didn't Darwin was wrong and animals have always existsed the way they do now (except dinosaurs- people photoshopped pictures of them and fooled everyone and they never existed.)

reject stenger and all he surveys, for it is wicked.

So heterosexual servicemembers should be forced to live with, dress and disrobe in front of, and shower with openly homosexual individuals?

How is that different from forcing heterosexual men and women to live in the same room, dress and undress in the same room, and shower in the same open bay showers?

Homosexuality is the product of a genetic defect or mental illness. The fact that homosexuals cannot procreate within their sexual identity makes it self-evident that it is not viable as a "lifestyle." It is a non-self-sustaining deviation.

As far as the individual who stated he would leave the service if "gays" are allowed to openly serve, I urge him to reconsider. I would advocate him joining what will undoubtedly be a very large sub-culture in the military (comprising both officers and enlisted) that will devote itself to thoroughly intimidating "open servers" to the point that they want nothing more than to permanently walk out the front gate and not look back.

The line has to be drawn somewhere.

The first time a couple of "open servers" walk into an NCO or Officers Club holding hands -- that club will become a "gay" bar.

Of course, you just write the names down of those who patronize the establishment. Then deal with them later.

God puts into our being in the beginning of life that nakedness is wrong. Some would say that’s a cultural thing. We hear people defend sensuality, immodesty with that very argument – that nakedness is a cultural thing.

When Adam and Eve sinned they lost the glory of God – their nakedness showed – they sought for leaves.

As a person moves toward reprobation, they drift more and more into deeper perversion.

Things that used to bother them don’t anymore.

So a day after Washington, D.C. and Mexico City legalize gay marriage, both a Vatican official and an anti-gay California legislator have been caught in high-profile gay sex scandals. Does anyone honestly believe this is mere coincidence?

Clearly the creeping acceptance of gay marriage is driving otherwise straight men directly into the arms of other men. Just as gay marriage opponents predicted would happen! So please. Think of the Stanley Kurtzes of the world. It’s damned time we stopped gay marriage, before another vigorously, outspokenly, Pet Shop Boys-loathing hetero man is driven . . . er . . . to his knees. H.R. 1283 is being pushed by gay activists and their gay allies in Congress. The bill is misnamed the “Military Readiness Enhancement Act” – but it should be called the “Legalization of Sodomy on the Battlefield and Barracks Act” because that’s really what it is.

Incredibly, this bill will add “sexual orientation” as a protected minority within the military, and this will include “actual or perceived” heterosexuality, homosexuality or bisexuality.

The legislation leaves out “transgender” – which is a term that describes cross-dressers, gay drag queens, transsexuals and she-males (individuals who go through half of a sex change operation).

I suspect the omission of transgender is deliberate – because it might be a difficult sell to Congress to pass a law that permits open cross-dressers, drag queens or she-males to serve. A man with female breasts and male sex organs probably would cause a stir in the barracks and might also encounter disapproval from his barracks buddies.

Wouldn't they? All the Scientists that think that- then where is the logic in all that? Cause it just makes no sense to me. I believe in the Bible. I have never believed that we come from Monkeys/Apes. But, what is your thoughts on this?

But, who cares about a bunch of kids and homeless people as long as leftist elites get their "in yer face."

QUESTION:

Again any concrete evidence for evolution? All 'evidence' offered so far 'cannot hold water'. Differentiation and adaptation do NOT prove evolution. At best fossil finds
support a global deluge by virtue of petrification. The Bible is in fact silent re
the age of the earth itself, and does NOT specify an exact time in years for each creation period. Notice that "day" does not literally mean 24 hours, as used. The Bible does say however that each specie was created according to its kind. Show me a fossilized intermediate specie and I know it must be concocted. by TrueTruthseeker

ANSWER:

show me the billions of years of impact craters

on the earth and the moon

how many times has the earth been hit by meteors

if it is billions of years then where are the impact craters

look at the moon

you will see some

but not enough

the earth is not that old

One time I went into a Border's bookstore in a mall and couldn't BELIEVE the ridiculous number of witchcraft books available, placed in a very prominent spot.

Outraged, I stepped to the cashier's counter and asked them why Border's was carrying such DARK, DARK material. I promptly got brushed-off. The clerk didn't even look me in the eye, but kept her head lowered over the cash register and mumbled something about not being able to help what books management ordered.

I told her to tell "management" it was NOT appreciated for them to stack those kinds of books (The Satanic Bible, for one) in a prominent spot, so that every teenager that walked in would see it!!!!!!!!! I told her they shouldn't even ORDER those kinds of books because it is influencing the younger generation!!! She just basically ignored me.

So long as IT SELLS, they don't give a hoot!!!!!!! The Almighty Dollar is what counts!!! I wish MORE people would complain and/or boycott those stores selling GARBAGE.

Honestly, when I was a teenager (okay, back in Prehistoric Times, lolol), if a store carried a book like that, there would be a Lynching Party!!!!!!!!!!!

[Ascythian can you link to some published works of those people? I somehow doubt we'll be seeing many credited reports but I'm intrigued to see what kind of investigations they've done and how they've gone about interpreting what they've collected.

These people may exist but it's what they've contributed to the scientific community which should be focused on in this debate.]

And what exactly have evolutionists ever contributed to anything?

All the theory of evolution has done is promote poor morality, promoted abortion, homosexuality (and other bad acts) and gave rise to bad ideologies such as Liberalism, Socialism, Communism and Nazism.
