The problem is that the conservatives are social liberals. what we need is a new party which is founded on christian principles and takes the 10 commandments as its constitution and stands for sex only in the marriage bond between a husband and wife and is not afraid to do so. This is the only way to strengthen family values. it means that those who have sex outside this bond can feel the full force of the law. And well we are about it we should pay compensation to the Bulls and others who this govt has persecuted for daring to disagree with them.

We want big government? You think that?

You are clueless. I’ll tell you what we SoCons want.

For starters, how about a return to Sodomy Laws. What’s wrong with that? All 50 states used to have them. And we were a better, more prosperous county then as well.

But noooo.... You libertarians with your progressive “get the nanny state outta my bedroom” attitudes screwed things up for conservatism.

Now - thanks to you - we have homo’s in the military and Obammie in office and things are getting worse.

When I was eighteen years I noticed the 3_4_5 right at the start of pi. I thought it odd that the Pythagorean triplet would begin right at the start of pi but gave it no more thought. Years later I noticed the 1_1_2 at the start of the square root of two and thought that this discovery was strange. These two oddities both at the same position fanned my curiosity. During the many years of examining pi (p), v2 and S I found that these three constants have a very odd interwoven relationship which I illustrate in Document A.

These what I call oddities could not have been made by chance alone on pi, our most popular constant, v2 and S so therefore must been made intentionally. If these oddities are the result of chance alone then one should expect these oddities to appear on many random numbers. This is not the case.
Only one entity could manipulate these three constants to produce oddities that we can detect. Only one entity could do this specifically on these three constants and not on other numbers. It seems that God not only could but has formed the geometry of space and even defined the fundamentals of mathematics. He ingeniously manipulated the geometric fabric and the default mathematics of the universe so that we can detect and analyze the oddities and conclude that only a great intelligence can accomplish this and therefore we can know that God exists.

Call it hypocritical, but we can't give freedom to people who want to use it against us, it's a form of cultural masochism and generations from now, I don't want my family to live in a Europe plagued by social unrest because we allowed immigrants who despise everything about us and refuse to live in the 21st century.

Quote# 86585

And another interesting point is that our seeking of gods is one of the biggest things that differentiates us from all the other creatures. I mean, is any atheist/scientists saying that a being with our intelligence HAS to wonder if there is a god? I mean, chimps are pretty smart, and it never occurs to them to wonder if there is a god, or an afterlife. It's almost like God created us with a God-sized hole, a God vacuum of sorts.

My son, although only in high school, has been in some lessons where they touch on adaptation, and evolution. He adds his point of view accross and has untill now been issued with 2 negative points! He pointed out that if the human adapted to its surrounding, why didnt the humans that live in cold climate evolve with fur? Wwhen we look at all the animals that humans are supposed to evolve from, why didnt humans evolve with more usefull functions, like a built in sting from a scorpion, or a knife like claw on hands etc. and where did humans get the ability to think from? And, obviously some animals will have adapted wrongly, for example a sheep could have had the thought to evolve wings, and then died out. why cant we find evidence of these wrong adaptions? Of course the teacher can only say, we have to move on now, thus omitting her obligation to answer these questions, and my son keeps on and on with such questions and gets a negative point!

And you wonder why things are going so godawful over there.

If you read over my articles on Obama’s massive social engineering on the military – such as imposing homosexuality on our troops – you ought to see that this is frankly no surprise. These days, if a gay soldier in your unit fancies you, you’d better just bend over and let him sodomize you; because if you don’t he’ll file a sexual harassment suit against you – and under this administration you will be found guilty and punished to the fullest extent of the law.

It’s also no surprise that our first “emperor” president would begin to implement the first “Praetorian guard” approach to our soldiers.

I find it despicable; but of course everything this president has done has pretty much been despicable.

Speaking of aid... my family and I give money each month to support a girl in Africa through one of the big parachurch organizations that does that kind of thing. I've begun to wonder though what it is we're doing through this: this girl apparently has no father--and thanks to us she doesn't need one? I wonder if this kind of support ends up strengthening families or making them worse. In the immediate term it provides food and education for a kid, but I'm afraid our money may be a barrier rather than a help for fathers to take their place in their families.

In short, I'm afraid we may be contributing to the fatherlessness of Africa by our aid.

New polling shows a majority of Americans are so far unconvinced - they see the fight over access to contraception coverage as a women's health issue - not a matter of religious liberty. What's more, they don't think religious liberty is generally in peril.

The Catholic Church is not stopping ANYONE from purchasing contraception. The Catholic Church should not be compelled to participate in an act (through funding) they find morally abhorrent.

Suppose the issue was government mandating employers provide all employees cafeteria services (everyone needs to eat). But, not only that, the government has decided that all cafeterias MUST provide pork products. Most people would have no problem with this mandate. But suppose your corporation is PETA (or a mosque) -- Why should the government tell you that YOUR cafeteria MUST provide pork? (When people who want to buy pork are FREE to buy pork anywhere else (from people who are NOT vegetarians) AND you are feeding them (which is the purpose of a cafeteria).)

This was settled church doctrine long before the United States even existed. The Catholic Church did not seek this conflict -- this conflict was imposed on the church. The constitution guarantees the free exercise of religion -- that liberty has been seriously undermined here.

America is suffering a pandemic of harm from pornography. A wealth of research is now available demonstrating that pornography causes profound brain changes in both children and adults, resulting in widespread negative consequences. Addiction to pornography is now common for adults and even for some children. The average age of first exposure to hard-core, Internet pornography is now 11. Pornography is toxic to marriages and relationships. It contributes to misogyny and violence against women. It is a contributing factor to prostitution and sex trafficking.

Every family must now be concerned about the harm from pornography. As a parent, I am concerned about the widespread distribution of illegal obscene pornography and its profound effects on our culture.

For many decades, the American public has actively petitioned the United States Congress for laws prohibiting distribution of hard-core adult pornography.

Congress has responded. Current federal “obscenity” laws prohibit distribution of hardcore (obscene) pornography on the Internet, on cable/satellite TV, on hotel/motel TV, in retail shops and through the mail or by common carrier. Rick Santorum believes that federal obscenity laws should be vigorously enforced. “If elected President, I will appoint an Attorney General who will do so.”

The Obama Administration has turned a blind eye to those who wish to preserve our culture from the scourge of pornography and has refused to enforce obscenity laws. While the Obama Department of Justice seems to favor pornographers over children and families, that will change under a Santorum Administration.

I proudly support the efforts of the War on Illegal Pornography Coalition that has tirelessly fought to get federal obscenity laws enforced. That coalition is composed of 120 national, state, and local groups, including Morality in Media, Family Research Council, Focus on the Family, American Family Association, Cornerstone Family Council of New Hampshire, Pennsylvania Family Institute, Concerned Women for America, The Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention, and a host of other groups. Together we will prevail.

there was a study a few weeks ago that also showed that 30-40% gay and lesbian youths were raped with intercourse before age 12, and that fifty percent of them had “forced intercourse’....the study also included bad health habits like drinking sodapop, and I had to email the writer to find where the statistic that showed the statistic on male gay vs female gays...(that was on page 41, she emailed back)...

You don’t just go “homeless”, and one doubts the parents threw them out for being gay (in Massachusetts). So why are they homeless? Is dad absent and mom on drugs? Did they run away? Are these runaways from outside Boston who now work as prostitutes?

The point is that if this is true, it means that maybe gay youth have more social problems than normal, and maybe the abuse caused them to chose to be gay. (I suspect some of my lesbian patients chose that lifestyle because they had been abused by men as children).

Another thought: We are also told in another study that gay children’s mental health is normal.

The subject needs to be checked, but alas too many studies just try to confirm the pc theories.

Homosexuality is slavery. Period. Those who are homosexual and act upon it are chaining themselves up to the Devil and to the world.

People who are gay...

Well, first, let me clarify. The verb "to be" is inappropriate. "I am gay" is a wrong statement; it does not define who I am (or you, or them, whatever). Saying "I/You struggle with same-sex attraction and passions" is more appropriate.

Anywho. Being gay in and of itself is not wrong. The bible makes it pretty clear that it's wrong... If anyone really needs me to point out that common Scriptures in "debating" homosexuality, I suppose I will. I am sure they have been thrown around plenty enough, however.

Acting upon these same-sex passions, however, is very sinful. Same with opposite-sex passions--they must abstain from lust and other such. However, "homosexuals" struggle even moreso, unable to marry or date or any of that. Acting upon one's "gayness" is slavery in its highest form. Acting upon it means you are giving in, submitting to the Devil, and allowing him to place shackles on you and tie you down. This is slavery, with same-sex passions or with any other sin. It's pure slavery.

Jesus will set you free! Live a celibate life in secular society or in a monastery! Seek God! The cross we "homosexuals" bear is surely heavy, but God will give us nothing we cannot bear!

(/Edited in) I do not say these things out of malice, but out of love. All too often I seek the false happiness and desire to fall in love with a man. But I cannot escape the reality of God, and I try to seek true happiness and true joy found only in Christ. I pray that y'all seek it as well.(/)

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy spirit, Amen.

Lord, have mercy.

hey that exodus text isn't saying the woman miscarried its saying she went into labor prematurely.
Exodus 2122 “When men strive together and hit a pregnant woman, so that her children come out[she gives birth], but there is no harm[to either the woman OR the child], the one who hit her shall surely be fined, as the woman's husband shall impose on him, and he shall pay as the judges determine. 23 But if there is harm[miscarriage or injury to the woman],then you shall pay life for life, 24 eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot," emphasis added She and the baby are NOT hurt in verse 22. In verse 23 it is clear that causing a miscarriage is a capital offense; life for life. You have to read the text. As for the passage in Numbers 5, God causes miscarriages and he is the only person who can. I don't think it is not our place to kill unborn children even if it is our own. A parent can be arrested for neglecting their child because that child has a claim on the parent for life support. It's the same for unborn children. We just refuse to recognize "fetuses" for what they are, people.

Also just because some christian wrote in a magazine 30 years ago does not make the Bible contradicting in anyway. That person is just failing to interpret the text but he's not perfect neither are you. Even Christians are going to have their differences and thats ok as long as we can agree on who Jesus is and what he's done.

There is science and there is science that is falsely so-called. See, the Bible doesn't have trouble with science, but it's talking about beware of the stuff that's falsely called science. There's a lot that masquerades in the name of science.

How do you know false science? False science leads you to a certain end. What is that end? That it undermines your faith. So a good definition of false science, at least based on the Bible verse, science that undermines faith is false science and science that's wrongly used it false science.

God's into science. He created everything. He's the great botanist, He's the great zoologist, He's the great every one of those things. He knows better than anyone else because he made it all. But when science takes you to a position that causes you to doubt your relationship with God, causes you to doubt the Bible ... that's called false science.

Quote# 86516

The Bible says [the worker] started grumbling about what happened, grumbling about his wages and Jesus answered and said to him "am I being unfair to you friend? Didn't you agree to work for a day's wages? You take your pay and go. I want to give to the one who was hired the same as I gave to you. That's my choice." Here it is, Matthew 20:15. "Don't I have the right to do what I want with my own money?"

Now, two things come out here, is if an employee agrees to work for an employer, that's a contract between the two of them ... and Jesus points out that you can go to a different vineyard if you don't like what I'm paying. You've got the free market, you can go choose a different employer. You agreed to work for me for this wage and that's what you're going to get. So first you get the inviolability of contracts between employers and employees ... and whatever is fair has nothing to do with it. That's not their responsibility to be fair, it's "I gave my word, that's what I agreed to work for." So Jesus says, as an employer, isn't my money mine to do with as I please?

Second point is, where were unions in all this? The contract is between an employer and an employee, not between a group. He went out and hired individually the guys he wanted to work.

On March 22nd, 1972, the Supreme Court undermined the boundaries and benefits of marriage. In the decision Eisenstadt v. Baird, the Court struck down a Massachusetts law prohibiting the distribution of contraceptives to unmarried people, and implicitly sanctioned unmarried non-procreative sexual intimacy.

While the decision may seem archaic and insignificant by modern sexual standards, Eisenstadt v. Baird dealt a decisive blow to the legal and cultural norm that marriage was the institution for the full expression of the sexual relationship between man and woman. The decision and its legal consequences affect us today. Forty years ago, the Court ruled that unmarried couples could not be denied their birth control. Today, the Federal government is forcing us to share the cost, for said contraception and some states are giving marital status to homosexual relationships.

Quote# 86514

Turning the tables on an advocacy group that has long supported victims of pedophile priests, lawyers for the Roman Catholic Church and priests accused of sexual abuse in two Missouri cases have gone to court to compel the group to disclose more than two decades of e-mails that could include correspondence with victims, lawyers, whistle-blowers, witnesses, the police, prosecutors and journalists.

The group, the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests, known as SNAP, is neither a plaintiff nor a defendant in the litigation. But the group has been subpoenaed five times in recent months in Kansas City and St. Louis, and its national director, David Clohessy, was questioned by a battery of lawyers for more than six hours this year. A judge in Kansas City ruled that the network must comply because it “almost certainly” had information relevant to the case.

The network and its allies say the legal action is part of a campaign by the church to cripple an organization that has been the most visible defender of victims, and a relentless adversary, for more than two decades. “If there is one group that the higher-ups, the bishops, would like to see silenced,” said Marci A. Hamilton, a law professor at Yeshiva University and an advocate for victims of clergy sex crimes, “it definitely would be SNAP. And that’s what they’re going after. They’re trying to find a way to silence SNAP.”

Lawyers for the church and priests say they cannot comment because of a judge’s order. But William Donohue, president of the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights, a church advocacy group in New York, said targeting the network was justified because “SNAP is a menace to the Catholic Church.”

Mr. Donohue said leading bishops he knew had resolved to fight back more aggressively against the group: “The bishops have come together collectively. I can’t give you the names, but there’s a growing consensus on the part of the bishops that they had better toughen up and go out and buy some good lawyers to get tough. We don’t need altar boys.”

He said bishops were also rethinking their approach of paying large settlements to groups of victims. “The church has been too quick to write a check, and I think they’ve realized it would be a lot less expensive in the long run if we fought them one by one,” Mr. Donohue said.

Quote# 86512

Yet saying all that, we dare not lose sight of two other facts about the contemporary homosexual agenda. The first is that it is an extreme in-your-face challenge to God's order. We learn that both from the Bible and from common sense. As we've noted here before, if heterosexual immorality is like driving 85 mph in a 35 mph zone, then homosexual immorality is like going 85 mph the wrong way on a one-way street. Never mind what prompts you to drive the wrong way; just doing it is dangerous. We're no more judgmental saying that than we are when we encourage folks to avoid any behavior that is demonstrably destructive—spiritually, emotionally, or physically.

The other important aspect of the current homosexual agenda is its zeal to establish itself as normal. It's bad enough when wrongdoers work hard to keep their wrongdoing secret. When instead they flaunt what they do, and pull out all the stops to make it public, then society has problems of a different order.

For decades now, we've witnessed an all-out effort to portray homosexual behavior as typical and mainstream. It's pointless to worry about battles being waged in literature, the library systems, the entertainment industries, the information media, fashion, higher education, and most of the liberal churches—for the battles in those venues are long since over. When the armies of homosexual advocacy have nothing left to conquer but the kindergarten class down the street, you know you're almost certainly too late on the scene.

Homophobic gay-bashers? Not really, Eric. But realistic about what's happening all around us? Indeed, yes. And I hope we say that these days with a tear—and never anything you might mistake for a leer.

Perkins: Let me get your first impressions, the Governor who you know well and the legislature whom you’ve worked with, they said, ‘We’re not going to be part of funding Planned Parenthood.’ They took the steps, that’s rightfully theirs, and so now I can’t explain it as anything other than blackmail from the Obama administration cutting off funds to some of the most needy people in the state of Texas.

Cruz: Tony you’re exactly right. The Obama administration has been the most radical administration this country has ever seen, he is the most radical president this country has ever seen. On this issue, his concern is quite simply political, it is ensuring that the money flow continues to Planned Parenthood and to the abortion industry, and he is willing to hold 130,000 low income Texas women hostage in order to make sure that Planned Parenthood makes their money. It’s cynical, it’s partisan and it’s wrong.

Perkins: I wonder if the timing here, it seems very suspect to me, but after Texas decided to stop this funding of Planned Parenthood, I think it was a week before last the story came out of Texas that Planned Parenthood as a result of losing this funding was closing about twelve of their abortion clinics in Texas. That was a story that was beginning to get traction around the country, giving other legislatures encouragement to take steps like Texas. Is this an effort to cut that off at the pass and try to say ‘hey, you better slow down or else we’re going to come after funding in other areas’?

Cruz: I think it was exactly that. The disturbing thing Tony is you and I and every American are involuntarily the largest funders of Planned Parenthood in this country because the federal government and the Obama administration is fighting tooth and nail to send millions of dollars to Planned Parenthood. You and I are both strongly pro-life, have been fighting to defend the right to life for many years, the idea that we are facing an administration that is so radical that they will do anything they can to defend and expand the taxpayer money to pay for Planned Parenthood and to fund the abortion industry, that is really dismaying and it is typical of the assault on our liberties that is proceeding relentlessly everyday under the Obama administration.
