On atheists having a burden of proof

this is going around in a never ending circle... I realize you don't have a claim that God doesn't exist, but you've still claimed that such a proposition is more rational than saying "God exists." so nice try, you still can't avoid burden of proof.

"Although Americans take for granted that scientists are geeks, in other cultures a gift for math is often seen as demonstrating that a person is intuitive and creative."

Yes. And in these cultures, women are required to be virgins at marriage (at an age of 22-25, no later), *and* women are required to marry beta providers, without the ‘no fault’ financial guarantees that she gets from corrupt US divorce laws. THAT is why men in STEM are still valued in those cultures – for reasons that feminists would shriek about if imposed on them.

The cultures where STEM men are valued are precisely the cultures where a woman’s gina tingles are heavily controlled and cannot be acted on, through substantial cultural restrictions.

Women don’t understand cause and effect very well.

‘Feminists’ only became interested in the sciences one they saw that money was being made there.

Same goes for the military. Once the pensions and health benefits looked attractive to women, they wanted in.

Women are biologically wired, via millions of years of evolution, to go where resources are being generated, with the sole hope that some of that will be given to them before some other woman gets there.

[A woman attempted to break her boyfriend out of prison]

What is the point of CH posting an endless procession of these chicks dig jerks stories? Is it to gloat? Well, yes. But it’s also to remind everyone how utterly different female sexual psychology is from male sexual psychology. Most people lose sight of that difference, or they try hard to ignore it. And with good reason; it’s unpleasant to ponder. But game as it’s understood wouldn’t work if men and women responded to the same mate value cues. If that were the case, whatever women did to maximize their appeal to men would work equally as well for men seeking to maximize their appeal to women.

It doesn’t, because men and women are radically alien to each other in some very important respects. There aren’t any men landing choppers in prison yards to free the thug babees they luv.

What Captain Capitalism failed to realize is that I don't see the growing preponderance of women in higher education as evidence that women are going to run the world. To the contrary, I see it as evidence that higher education is in the late stages of collapse. Because women ruin everything. The final stage will be reached when Title IX is successfully applied to the STEM degrees, which is already federal law, and math and the hard sciences are sufficiently dumbed down to permit women to receive what is determined to be an equitable number of those degrees.

By that point, men will have likely created alternative systems to the university credentials that are as unpalatable to women as the universities once were, and successful businesses will be increasingly prone to utilize those systems. Some sort of online achievement-based system like those popular in the IT world would appear to be the likely candidate, especially as the availability of online degrees from prestigious institutions continues to increase. Once 50,000 Indians and 100,000 Chinese are graduating with degrees from Harvard, its social cachet will plummet.

There is VERY VERY VERY little difference between a black feminist and a white supremacist in terms of the overall destructive impact that these ideologies and methodologies have had on black families and black progress as a whole.

Black Feminism itself amounts to nothing more than mammy wenchery, clitocratic ejaculation, and minstrel masterbation from the bottom rungs of section 8, to the top echelons of the black bourgeoisie.

It was Feminist Cointelpro FBI informants like Angela Davis and Elaine Brown that helped the United States Government destroy the Black Panther Party…. But I digress…..

Ultimately yes, black women have an IMMENSE amount of privilege over black men in white society(Look at the murder rates, the conviction rates, the arrest rates, the employment rates etc.) Black Women with their mammy privilege have essentially become an integral part of the oppressor class and have played a very treacherous role in the destruction of black families over the past 50 years.

The Black Man is indeed the lowest of the low and young black boys are the most beaten raped abused drugged demonized and terrorized human beings on the face of the earth.

So yes, I will make absolutely no apologies for my vigorous advocacy of the sovereignty of black men and I will never hold back in my assault against the terroristic parasitic entity known as “Black Feminism”, because it is a primary, secondary, and tertiary enemy of Black Progress. In terms of Black Progress, if the sovereignty leadership and dominance of Black Men does not come first second and third, nothing will be produced for the Black Family.

There will not even be a Black Family, without the perpetual advocacy and construction of a strong militant and sophisticated institution of Black Manhood.

Lively to Run for Massachusetts Governor

The people of this state need a candidate who can clearly and unapologetically articulate Biblical values without fear or compromise. They need a candidate who will tell the simple truth that abortion is murder, and homosexuality is condemned by God (but that Jesus forgives and heals those who repent). That parents and not the state have authority over their children, because government is our servant and not our master. That socialism is slavery and humanism breeds corruption. But mostly they need a leader who will remind the people that Massachusetts was founded upon Jesus Christ and the Bible and that our future security and prosperity depend on restoring our trust in Him. “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord!” Psalm 33:12.

These are very dark days in Massachusetts and across America, and growing steadily darker. I believe it is time for Christians with a strong Biblical worldview to rise up and preach the whole truth of the Bible as widely and boldly as possible. Massachusetts is the bluest of the blue states: the first to adopt socialized medicine and “gay marriage,” the national model for promoting homosexuality to children in the public schools, and the most aggressive defender of child-killing through abortion. The Mass Republican Party is solidly controlled by moderate to liberal “progressives” and the Democrats are virtual communists. They both embrace and champion the culture of death. With these two liberal parties splitting the liberal vote, a true conservative independent could win the governorship.

I feel both called and well prepared to meet this challenge. I am a fifth-generation Bay-Stater, born and raised in the Village of Shelburne Falls, with roots in the region going back to the early 1600s. I am a former left-wing liberal, who has learned by hard experience the folly of those ways. I am a constitutional lawyer and internationally-recognized authority on family and human rights issues from a Christian perspective. I have run my own successful businesses and know how to keep a budget. I am a missionary pastor with a doctorate in theology who for the past five years has founded and run an inner-city mission serving the poor and disadvantaged — a mission that is a model of racial harmony and community service — without accepting a dime of government funding.

My personal life theme of “redemption theology” is clearly reflected in all of my endeavors, and exactly what Massachusetts needs to recover from four decades of decline under Godless socialism.

[...]

I expect to often be asked by reporters what I think my prospects are for winning this election. To this I reply that it would take a miracle from God for Scott Lively to become Governor of Massachusetts — and I wouldn’t want it any other way. God should get the glory for any good thing that comes from this campaign. So don’t expect me to campaign like a politician. I will do nothing more than travel the state to offer what I believe are Biblical solutions to Massachusetts’ problems — and leave the rest to Almighty God.

May He Heal this Commonwealth

However, in tandem with state enforcement of male provision to women, a new dowry system emerged among the middle classes and above. Instead of directly compensating the husband with cash or an allowance, parents train their daughters to be paid employees who will bring home a sizable contribution to the family, and who can support themselves financially. This is the upper-middle-class marriage norm today. Well-educated urban men simply will not marry women unless these women can provide an income to the family. This is the basis of the marriage gap that has emerged in recent decades.

Women in the lower classes cannot provide the income desired by higher-status males, and they have nothing to contribute to the home of a working man, so few men are willing to take the chance and marry them. In fact, for many working class men, it is cheaper and easier to pay child support and be a part-time father than to put up a woman who can neither run a home nor earn any income to speak of. I have noticed that a working class urban culture is slowly developing in which men no longer even take the idea of marriage – even to the mothers of their children – seriously at all. On a positive note, I see many more of these men out and about with their children today than I did a couple decades ago.

Neither of the above trends amounts to empowerment of women, and for most women they are a step down. It still may not look that way today, but the trend is headed clearly in one direction: a restoration of reciprocity. The short-lived era of one-way obligations in favor of women is drawing to a close.

[Another fundies has asked if others have noticed that the year seems to be going by fast.]

Not only has this summer flown by, the days, every day, seem to come and go far too quickly. I once heard an explanation for this on some Christian TV show but I cannot remember which one; take it for what it's worth:

The days are going faster to give evil doers less time to achieve their goals. Even though a minute is still 60 seconds, we don't realize those 60 seconds are going by faster than 60 seconds would have 40 years ago. Everything is being sped up to bring us to the end of the end of days while keeping the powers that be from taking over before their time. It is a partial fulfillment, an indication, of Mark 24:22 and Mark 13:20. As I say, take it for what it's worth.

Lesbians Adopt Boy, Chemically Transform Him Into Pseudo-Girl

The sexual molestation that inevitably results...is hardly the only reason that the liberal push for more homosexual adoption is morally abhorrent. How can it be called decent to put children into situations like this?

The lesbian parents of an 11-year-old boy who is undergoing the process of becoming a girl … defended the decision, claiming it was better for a child to have a sex change when young.

Thomas Lobel, who now calls himself Tammy, is undergoing controversial hormone blocking treatment in Berkeley, California to stop him going through puberty as a boy.

[Adoptive guardians] Pauline Moreno and Debra Lobel warn that children with gender identity disorder forced to postpone transitioning could face a higher risk of suicide.

Whereas if they are freakified through grotesque medical practices best left on the Island of Doctor Moreau, they live happily ever after. Just ask Nancy Verhelst. No wait, you can’t; she had herself put out of her misery like deformed dog.

Thomas’s transition into a make-pretend girl began at age eight. His guardians are inflicting hormone suppressants to prevent him from developing a male voice, broad shoulders, and facial hair. If this doesn’t qualify as child abuse, the statutes need to be rewritten.

Whatever the motivations involved in this particular situation, given the pathological fear and hatred of males that often characterize women who base their identities on being lesbians, situations like this are an inevitable consequence of homosexual adoption and the bizarre moonbat notion that a person’s sex can be altered. The progressive ruling class is dragging the rest of society down a path that cannot lead to anything healthy.

The problem with women voting -- and your Communists will back me up on this -- is that, you know, women have no capacity to understand how money is earned. They have a lot of ideas on how to spend it. And when they take these polls, it's always more money on education, more money on child care, more money on day care."

Imagine the effect on our culture, particularly on the young, if the kind of fame and adulation bathing Lady Gaga attached to the more notable achievements of say, Warren Buffett. Or if the moral praise showered on Mother Teresa went to someone like Lloyd Blankfein, who, in guiding Goldman Sachs toward billions in profits, has done infinitely more for mankind. (Since profit is the market value of the product minus the market value of factors used, profit represents the value created.)

Instead, we live in a culture where Goldman Sachs is smeared as “a great vampire squid wrapped around the face of humanity.” That’s for the sin of successful investing, channeling savings to their most productive uses, instead of wasting them on government boondoggles like Solyndra and bridges to nowhere.

There is indeed a vampire squid wrapped around the face of humanity: the Internal Revenue Service. And, at a deeper level, it is the monstrous perversion of justice that makes the IRS possible: an envy-ridden moral code that damns success, profit, and earning money in voluntary exchange.

An end must be put to the inhuman practice of draining the productive to subsidize the unproductive. An end must be put to the primordial notion that one’s life belongs to the tribe, to “the community,” and that the superlative wealth-creators must do penance for the sin of creating value.

And Ayn Rand is just the lady who can do it.

It’s time to gore another collectivist sacred cow. This time it’s the popular idea that the successful are obliged to “give back to the community.” That oft-heard claim assumes that the wealth of high-earners is taken away from “the community.” And beneath that lies the perverted Marxist notion that wealth is accumulated by “exploiting” people, not by creating value–as if Henry Ford was not necessary for Fords to roll off the (non-existent) assembly lines and Steve Jobs was not necessary for iPhones and iPads to spring into existence.

Let’s begin by stripping away the collectivism. “The community” never gave anyone anything. The “community,” the “society,” the “nation” is just a number of interacting individuals, not a mystical entity floating in a cloud above them. And when some individual person–a parent, a teacher, a customer–”gives” something to someone else, it is not an act of charity, but a trade for value received in return.

It was from love–not charity–that your mother fed you, bought clothes for you, paid for your education, gave you presents on your birthday. It was for value received that your teachers worked day in and day out to instruct you. In commercial transactions, customers buy a product not to provide alms to the business, but because they want the product or service–want it for their own personal benefit and enjoyment. And most of the time they get it, which is why they choose to continue patronizing the same businesses.

When you go out of your way to hurt other people like today's liberal Democrats do it's hard for me to get upset when they get a little of what they deserve in return. I don't tolerate intolerance and today's Democrat party is built on hate and intolerance, I say let them fend for themselves since they created these problems.

There is very good reason to call the ToE "just a theory." All that has ever happened is the piling on of more and more credulity that "confirms" the original theory. There is no objective evidence for it. What evidence there is supports creationism just as well or better. You guys are caught in an amazing delusion and it's so convincing to you there's no way you'll even consider an argument against it. All you have to do is make up a NEW speculation to answer anything anyone says against the ToE. It's really an amazing exercise in self delusion. I really often wonder if it will ever be recognized or we'll have to wait until the Lord returns before any of the Toe Faithful will have the ability to see what's really been going on here.

"The connection between contraception and abortion is primarily this: Contraception facilitates the kind of relationships and even the kind of attitudes and moral character that are likely to lead to abortion. The contraceptive mentality treats sexual intercourse as though it had little connection with babies; it thinks of babies as an 'accident' of intercourse, as an unwelcome intrusion into a sexual relationship, as a burden. The sexual revolution has no fondness —nor room for—the connection between sexual intercourse and babies..."[1]

Of course, there is big money to be made by Big Pharma in the population control enterprise, especially if governments can be persuaded to buy these powerful, steroid-based drugs (which pollute not only women's bodies but the environment as well) in huge lots and distribute them indiscriminately in the Developing World. A lot of the anti-people propaganda out there is thus profit-driven, which is reason enough to question it.

As a Christian, I do not believe that the same God who created us could have failed to provide us with a planet sufficient to our needs over time as our numbers expanded. Of course we need to intelligently respond to the challenges that our growing numbers cause, and we do, but those solutions should never involve eliminating human beings. Do you really think that the same God who brought us into existence to be fruitful and multiply now wants us to be barren and reduce our numbers?

Both atheists and islamists have no deity, atheists : God does not exist islamists : cannot define God, don't know who or what He is, in effect there is no God, only killing innocent women and children in His name and taking over their lands, wealth, minds and bodies

Who profited from available contraceptives ? Women or men ? It will be the latter. Sex without responsibility. And if woman got pregnant they could explained to be blamed and abortion was still illegal "you should have taken the pill, you daft hag !" and both sex outside marriage (for women only.. of course) let alone abortion carried a huge stigma and desperate women tried to have all sorts of illegal abortions. And the man.. freed of his responsibility got away with it more than before because then it would have ended up in a shotgun marriage.
Who profited from the new "beauty ideals ?" The fashion industry did.. leaving many insecure about their own looks and aspiring to ever more unrealistic looks.
Who benefited from the abolition of grading as based on ability and publishing what the best schools were ? The rich who moved in and who snatched the homes closest to the better schools, forcing the poor out.
Who benefited from the country culture ? Phonies like Warhol who made good money out of it ?
Who benefited from tearing down traditional neighbourhoods and building miles after miles of a new concrete jungle ? Entrepreneurs.
Who benefited from all the festivals ? Entrepreneurs.
Who benefited from the "live now, pay later"that the liberals came up with ? Well.. at the end of the day the banks since people got themselves in debt where a generation before the word debt was seen as a curse.

What the 1960s and liberalism have done is not liberating people: it's wanton destruction without providing a real alternative to the old world. It's quite the opposite of "liberation". DId the decolonisation liberate Africa btw ? Hardly.. some African areas were still relatively wealthy in the early 60s. By the 1970s they were dirt poor and in perpetual chaos all because of hasty decolonisations and a lack of common sense.

And you may not like to hear it but there it is ? Relaxed immigration laws ? And more women entering the workforce ? Who benefitted ? Industry did as wages could be slashed. In my grandfather's day (50s, early 60s) people earned a living wage enough to feed a family. Today both husband and wife have to work and their only just make ends meet.
