Quote# 95668

The clear common motivator in all oppressive movements [slavery, anti-suffrage, Jim Crow racism] was financial gain, not biblical dishonesty which facilitated systemic power over another group. The bible’s words became a convenient tool in the hands of these people. Not only the Bible, but the US Constitution was misused as well.

But there exists no such financial benefit for people who correctly interpret scripture in reference to homosexual practices. No one who believes, teaches and upholds the sexual standards of the bible stands to benefit financially from doing so. In an ever increasing age of intolerant tolerance, such people and organizations actually are penalized for not falling in line with homosexual inclusion ideology. Logically, for the church to be compared to the aforementioned oppressive movements, it would have to allow homosexual inclusion.

Therefore its the religious progays who are financially benefiting from the misinterpretation of scripture just like slaveowners, the anti-suffrage sexists and the jim crow racists.

If the progay clerics and organizations and had any intellectual honesty, they would inform their followers that they are part of a longstanding tradition of lying for financial gain. American slaveowners did it, the anti-suffragists did it, the jim crow racists did it and the pro homosexual apostate church is doing it.

(on the Seattle anti-gay preacher beign attacked at a Gay Pride parade)

[Steve] Crampton and Barber warned that these sorts of attacks on anti-gay Christians will only increase in the months and years ahead because, as Crampton explained, “the life of the average homosexual is not controlled by reason” but a perverted lust and passion that has “overwhelmed them.” And thus, when you couple that “a lack of self-control” with “the taste of blood,” you have a recipe for further bloodletting.

[Matt] Barber agreed, declaring that gays “define their entire identity based up aberrant sexual behaviors and sexual temptations and acting on those temptations” and so, as Scripture proclaims, they are eventually consumed by this “lust-filled, sex-centric, perversion-centric lifestyle” and ultimately driven by a “dark soul” to commit this sort of violent behavior.

However for many tasks, tasks suitable to stupid people, tasks for bad people, tasks where you want people to reliably do as they are told rather than make good decisions, the sort of tasks that most black people are suitable for, slavery was markedly more productive and efficient than free labor, with the slave producing more value for himself and his owner with less labor, than he did when freed.

...

If masters and slaves were better off than employers and employees, an economist would ask, why could they not just cut a deal to do what they previously did, only without chains and beatings, do the same tasks in the same way, only as employees?

The answer is that question is: that the former slaves, once freed, could not credibly commit to stick to such a deal, and generally did not stick to such a deal, thus economically worse off. Stupid people, prone to violence, with short time horizons, needed masters.

What is obvious is that George Zimmerman never should have been charged with anything. The entire perverse spectacle, from beginning to end was a political show-trial. The only reason Zimmerman was charged is because he was white and Trayvon Martin was black. The fact that the black-shyster, Martin family attorney, Benjamin Crump, could compare Trayvon Martin to Emmet Till and civil-rights hero Medgar Evers, is a testimony to the racist sickness that ironically and sadly infects many black people in this country today.

For as long as Whites and Blacks lived side by side in the United States, there have been laws on the books forbidding miscegenation. In those days adultery and fornication and sodomy were all also illegal. At least 95% of the people had no problem with these laws – they simply married somebody of their own race and stayed faithful. And getting a divorce was difficult – you were expected to remain in the lifetime commitment you had made.

Well those “brilliant” legal minds who sit as the black robed judges in America decided to throw out all the laws criminalizing adultery, fornication, sodomy, and race-mixing – and made divorce as simple as filling out a form. What possible rationale did these crazy judges offer to justify these acts of absolute lunacy? In a word: RIGHTS.

According to the Supreme Court of the United States, everyone has the “fundamental right” to copulate with anybody else. Two sodomites who continued to fornicate even after the police caught them in the act, must not only be charged with no crime – they deserve “respect” according to SCOTUS.

According to SCOTUS it is “cruel and unusual punishment” to execute a sick monster who rapes a little baby. That would be against his “Constitutional rights” so his sentence must be commuted.

The homos are demanding full “marriage equality” as they term their aberrant notion of sodomites “marrying” other sodomites, and lesbians “marrying” other lesbians. What is their precedent for demanding such a thing?

Hopefully your mature enough to talk about the topic of masturbation because very very few people are tackling this demonic attack!

Yes, I called it a demonic attack!!!

It seems our evil flesh with the demonic together tag team us on this topic of masturbation!

It seems our sinful carnal nature wants us to masturbate, it seems the flesh gets stronger and stronger as we children of GOD masturbate!

The flesh acts like a beacon that calls the demonic spirits to it. The flesh is like a beacon of light flashing on and off to the demons!

Now some of you might be wondering why on earth is masturbation evil? Well, that is a great question!!!!

As a child of GOD, one of our main goals is to be more and more like JESUS, or this should be one of our main HUGE goals in life!!

Now JESUS never masturbated!!! JESUS never ever did anything that would build up the flesh, or anything to attract the demons!

Beck has really played that same game of finding - and I'm just going to be blunt - what I call modern day Judases who are willing to sell out the faith for money to basically stand next to Beck and give his lie that he's a Christian credibility.

Just so your audience understands, I don't care what Glenn Beck wants; If he thinks he's going to die and become the man in the moon, that's great, just like I don't care what Tom Cruise believes, obviously. But the difference is Tom Cruise doesn't want to run around paying high-profile evangelicals to give credence to a lie that he's a Christian like Beck does.

And that's my whole issue with Beck and my bigger issue with guys like Barton, John Hagee, James Robison to name a few, Ralph Reed again. People that have come alongside Beck, have utilized his media empire - that's been their lure - and in return, they never confront Beck on his false beliefs, they never speak out against this cult that is leading souls to Hell. And so, I believe that God's really going to hold these people accountable for literally selling out the Gospel for thirty pieces of silver.

Homosexuality ought not be allowed to exist in our country. It should be banned and punished by law, as it used to be a century ago. In many countries it is still a capital offense, as it was in Old Testament Israel. Lesbians and gays ought not be permitted to marry, let alone pastor churches. I am so glad that God's Word and every Bible-preaching Christian will be vindicated in eternity. The days of gay-rights are numbered. Job 20:4-5, “Knowest thou not this of old, since man was placed upon earth, That the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment?” If I were a king, I'd ban homosexuality! I'd ban abortion! I'd ban gossip! I'd ban booze! I'd ban immodest dress! I'd eradicate television and the internet from existence!

Feminism exists as a defender of the selfish sexual and reproductive interests of aging and/or unattractive women. This is its entire raison d’etre, the reason it first came into existence with the social purity movement reformers of the 19th century, led by their harridan battle cry – ‘armed with the ballot the mothers of America will legislate morality’.

...

To feminists, and indeed, to the vast majority of the female sex who give feminists the power to speak on their behalf, morality is little more than ensuring the reproductive and sexual interests of a post-peak fertility female who relies on heavy parental investment from a committed male partner. The extent of female desire for involvement in the political process is directly proportionate to the threat that women feel in a free sexual market.

Michael Carneal was 14 years old when he walked into a prayer group in Paducah, Kentucky in December 1997, and began shooting defenseless teenagers with a stolen gun. See id. at 75. There were several tell-tale signs that this massacre was incited by a violent video game. For example, he never moved his feet during his shootings, and never fired far to the left or right; instead, he fired only once at each target that appeared, just as a player of video games maximizes his game score by shooting only once at each victim, in order to hit as many targets as possible.

Quote# 95592

Many Christians live in the shallow area of their soul— they live by what they want, think and feel. That’s where I was for a good part of my early years as a Christian. But thankfully, God didn’t leave me there. He began calling me to come out into the deep— to begin following the leading of His Spirit instead of the dictates of my flesh.

God dealt strongly with my emotions and my will. Then He moved to the area of my mind, where I had some major strongholds of wrong thinking that needed to be changed— reasoning being one of the worst.

I was a person who was heavily into reasoning, always trying to figure out the "why" behind something and planning excessively for what was ahead. But one day God required me to give it up. He showed me that reasoning is the opposite of trust and that I couldn’t do both at the same time. He then led me to some specific scriptures that opened my eyes to the condition of my mind and showed me what I needed to do to bring about change.

[on a lesbian being assaulted by an anti-gay protester]

The guy that assaulted the lesbo had no more right to assault her than he did someone that proudly displays that they are having a incestuous or bestial relationship (i.e. the law protects those kind of people from assault as well).

If the law were righteously enforced, then the lesbo wouldn't be running around showing off her perversion, and hence most likely wouldn't be attacked.

As it is, the rate of domestic violence is very high inside the sodomite so-called "community", so violence isn't anything new to those that partake in the homosexual lifestyle.

Regarding the assault against the street preacher:

As I've shown in another thread [this one, WHMBR!], the silencing of Christians that speak out against homosexuality (or anyone for that matter, they don't have to be Christian) and the agenda that goes along with it is a mainstay of a well organized movement. The white gorilla and the cute little lesbos that were involved in the melee were just following their gaystapo "marching orders".

[In answer to the question of whether there is any reason for not cooperating with global human rights organistation]

Praise be to Allaah.
The Muslim should not be deceived by the so called western and European “human rights” organizations, because although they outwardly appear to support the oppressed and to take a stance against torture and undermining of human dignity in prisons and detention centres – which in general terms are good ideas – they also play other roles, and support other principles which are aimed at destroying the family, and opening the door to slander against Islam and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), and all his fellow-Prophets. They are opposed to the rule of sharee’ah which enjoins hadd punishments such as stoning for the adulterer, execution for the apostate and cutting off the hand for the thief, becoming part of legislation and being implemented, which is in fact very rare. These organizations are also opposed to the shar’i rulings that have to do with women, such as the necessity of her wali’s consent for marriage, the command to observe hijab, and the prohibition on her mixing, in addition to other principles where they claim that they want to liberate man from religious obligations and to make man free in the way he conducts his affairs, not restricted by good morals or sublime shar’i rulings.

To sum up what these organizations promote: it is that man should be able to do whatever he wants, no matter how perverse. They support lesbians, homosexuals and bisexuals, and religious deviance. They regard it as a human right to disbelieve in whatever religions one wants and to express one’s opinion – even about the Prophets – without any fear or shame, and they also support the liberation of woman from the control of her father, husband or religion.

Robert, since you believe every tenet of Christianity is false and Jesus is not the savior, why do you even bother to comment? I was raised as an evangelical to respect science, every church I have ever belonged to (Conservative Baptist, Disciples of Christ, American Baptist, Anglican and now Foursquare) have always left the door for a God directed evolution (not Dawkin's Blind watchmaker). Standing against homosexuality is not an evangelical position, it is the teaching of Genesis, Leviticus, Dueteronomy, Judges, 1st Kings, Ezekiel, Luke, Romans, 1st Corinthians, 1st Timothy, Jude, 2nd Peter and the very last chapter of Revelation. We don't reject homosexual marriage because it is harmful, but because it is wrong. The Bible has always been neutral on slavery regarding it as a cultural matter. However it has always been adamantly against abusing people. But the Bible has never been neutral on homosexuality. Read how the early church fathers dealt with the subject.

totally different kind of slavery there. slavery in the bible isn't like the slavery of modern day. Jewish culture slavery was a way of paying off a debt. it as more of being a servant for a certain amount of time. After a certain amount of time they were set free. the problem isn't about homosexuality. The problem is failed worship. That goes for anything. Obesity, anorexia, bulimia, anger problems, disobedience, etc. there are three things that would need to happen for a Christian to ostracize any one living happily in sin. 1. The person says that they are a Christian. Not a church goer, been baptized when I was a baby, give money to the church, do good deeds person. They say that they profess Jesus Christ as the king of their life. 2. An individual confronts the person about their sin. If the person is/does seek treatment from a counselor then they can remain in the church and you are to support them. But if they continue you grab another person. Then an elder.

JOPLIN, Mo. — Regarding Anson Burlingame’s guest column (Globe, July 8), as a Christian, I agree with his premise of “live and let live, do no harm to others.”

We Christians also believe there is no “freedom from religion” clause in the Constitution. For the past several years this seems to be the aim of some politicians in our country, i.e. the teaching of homosexuality to some young children in our public schools as acceptable “alternate lifestyle,” excessive gun control, excessive taxation of guns and ammunition, forbidding Christian members of our armed forces from sharing their faith with others, and forbidding the chaplains to mention God and prayer. The list goes on and on.

Yes, Christians know we are in the minority ... always have been and always will be.

See Matthew 7:13-14.

Well any lib media will always make Christian history sound crazy or more false than fact. Such as the history channels story of the devils bible and how it is true and passed down, but the Holy bible is full of errors etc... Another example, anything theory from Universities is fact. For example, the missing links which turned out to be a primates, not even remotely human,(Natgeo, discovery ch) and the false reporting of Thomas Jefferson fathering a slave girls child. Jefferson, for example, had no male child that lived long enough to reproduce (less than 1 year old i think when his only son died), therefore, you cannot trace his line/genes (Y) specifically. Also, out of the 500 lib outlets to cover the false report by a known lib university professor, liar, only 11 outlets would print the truth and the retraction 6 weeks later by the scientist who actually performed the dNA testing stating, there was no way to link the childs family to Thomas Jefferson! Never trust the govt. media complex. They only want to make you think man created God when truly God created man, and that the Govt makes you free and who you are and not that god makes you free and gives you free choice to be who you want to be! Our world history and especially the US history is so libbed up that the true history of this continent is mostly lost or just plain hidden, esp in public schools!!!

I remember in the early 90's being upset with my Grandfather because he quit subscribing to the National Geographic. He had every issue ever made. The first issues were very large and had excellent photos and illustrations. Even the issues in the 80's were great. The photography was second to none and the articles were engaging and interesting.

Always wondered why he quit subscribing.

Well, today I wanted to show my daughter bears so she would know what they are while hiking this summer. She likes stuffed bear animals the best and can say bear and bears at almost 2 years old. We did a search of bear on Netfilx and a show about bears from the National Geographic showed up.

The ammount of anti-industry propaganda was amazing. As I type this, it's playing in the background. All I'm hearing is clear cutting, last strong hold, endangered, etc.

What a shitty production. A bunch of hippies running around with guns, going into bear country to spread their parasites, germs and illness on the bears they capture and harrass in the name of science. Not sure which is worse, shooting a bear or knocking them out and putting a collar on them after taking multiple samples.

All the shit they are against, the researchers do. They are baiting bears, trapping them, shooting with drugs, carrying guns and harrassing them.

Now I know why National Geographic was taken out of my Grandpa's subscription list. It's a liberal rag with a political agenda.

Too bad.

The question read, "When we 'like' things on Facebook, if it's something that goes against what is written in the Bible -- such as pictures of same sex couples -- is that considered condoning behavior? How do you explain this to new Christians or youth?"

Robertson, who has never been shy of voicing his feelings, candidly responded to the concerned viewer.

"You've got a couple of same-sex guys kissing. Do you like that?" Robertson answered. "Well, that makes me want to throw up. To me, I would punch 'vomit,' not 'like,' but they don't give you that option on Facebook."

Evolutionists often say that if creationists were real scientists, they would publish articles in the premiere science journals such as Science and Nature. However, when creationists do submit papers for publication, they are often rejected simply because they are creationists (and not actually on the content of the paper)! So it’s stated, “You’re not real scientists, because if you were you would be publishing in our journals.” But then when they do submit something, the response comes, “We can’t publish anything from you… you’re not a real scientist!”

In reality, most creationists do publish in mainline journals, but almost without exception, they do not include any statements that reveal their belief in creation (which would almost certainly lead to the rejection for publication).

Quote# 95562

Atheism is a psychosis

The presence of God is surprisingly easy to ‘sense’ and thus prove. I have never properly understood why atheists denied His presence until I had an ‘aha’ moment yesterday: Atheists suffer from psychosis in much the same way that a serial killer does.

The serial killer feels no guilt for his actions. There is no point asking a serial killer why he has committed his foul deeds, because when Satan enters one’s soul the possessed person becomes unable to grasp what the rest of us take for granted. He can’t fathom why normal people feel compassion. There is a missing link in his thought process and he needs to be jailed until he comes right with God.

Indeed, asking an atheist to define our moral code is like asking Jack the Ripper to run Life-Line.

But . . . back to that ‘sixth-sense’ which we Christians have of God. I feel it is acceptable to state that there is a sense of what is True in this world, and that it cannot be put into words. The French call it a ‘je ne sais quoi’ -- a certain something! Hence the silly assumption that man (scientists and atheists) can try and find Jesus under a microscope. It doesn’t work like that. Knowing Jesus is a profound ‘feeling’ that cannot be denied and in fact drives everything a True Christian does. Christians automatically have that ‘je ne sais quoi’ and others can sense it in them. The way a person who walks with Christ carries his or herself will even appear different. There is a spring in their step that only a fellow believer will understand.

I mention all this because to us as Christians, atheists appear as prisoners in a glass box, screeching to get out yet denying what they see through that glass. That is the irony! All they have to do is smash the glass and step into the light.

If there are any seekers out there who are sick of the cobbled-together lies peddled by ‘science’ then I suggest that you start by asking God for help. Put some heart into it! You have to make the first move.
