The wave of doubt in the Word of God is rising to a tsunami. Two lies are the primary sources for this doubt: 1) homosexual orientation is God given, and 2) evolution.

“Christian” proponents of the first lie include Matthew Vines, author of “God and the Gay Christian,” recently released by Convergent Books, and Vicky Beeching, popular CCM singer and social commentator.  

Vines discounts the biblical accounts of God’s view of homosexuals by claiming that Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed over an attempted gang rape; and that Leviticus 18 is old, outdated law.

Beeching recently “came out” as “gay,” declaring that God’s love would approve her affection for another woman. And she stated her determination to spread the lie: “I feel certain God loves me just the way I am, and I have a huge sense of calling to communicate that to young people.”

Another “Christian” singer has gone public, promoting the other lie, evolution. The false science of evolution presents biblical history as so many myths and legends. Michael Gungor, with his wife, Lisa, form the Christian band, Gungor. Like many who doubt the biblical account of creation, Gungor has bought into “theistic evolution,” the belief that somehow, God used the evolution process to create the world and all of creation. Of course, to do this, the biblical account has to be discarded as just myth and legend.

To Gungor, the Genesis account of creation is simply a poem, one of great intrinsic value, but not to be taken literally. But, as someone asked, “If you don’t believe the first 11 chapters of Genesis, why do you need John 3:16?”

This attempt to shove evolution into God’s narrative of creation demonstrates monumental ignorance of the evidence. Author Vance Ferrell, has compiled nearly 1000 pages of evidence in his book, The Evolution Handbook, confounding the “theory” of evolution.

Part two of the chapter on age of the earth illustrates King David’s declaration: “The heavens declare the glory of God...” “Ferrell describes stars so enormous in diameter that they could not have existed for millions of years, or their initial mass would have been impossibly large.”

Also in those “heavens” there are enormous stars that radiate a million times the energy of our sun. But the evolutionist’s own theory about star energy indicates these stars don’t contain enough hydrogen to maintain fusion longer than 300,000 years.

When it comes to our own sun, its radiation that warms our planet is causing it to slowly shrink. To be its present size, it would have been so large 50,000 years ago as to boil our oceans.

Ferrell’s book is a very thick read and a huge indictment of evolutionary theory. Key topics such as big bang, mutations, age of earth, inaccurate dating methods, effects of Noah’s flood, tectonics, archeological dating, DNA, are included in devastating detail.

A whole chapter is devoted to the intelligent design movement of scientists, Christian and unbelievers, who have concluded, from the overwhelming evidence, that creation must have a designer.

This fact sits deep in the heart of man who always assumes that cars, wrist watches, smart phones and bandwidth are all designed by someone. Yet, evolutionists, with a straight face, teach our children that millions of years of accidents created such wonders as their mother, puppies, whales and sunshine.

With resources such as The Evolution Handbook, you can easily counter the lies that Satan is feeding you and your kids at every turn.

Younger and younger children are encountering the question of homosexuality. As they are able, tracts like, Sin City, Home Alone, Uninvited and Doom Town can be used to guide them to the truth. We also need to salt these truths widely into our communities to strengthen those who really want to stand up for righteousness.

The fact that Roberts considers the genre's greatest writers to be "Ursula K Le Guin, Octavia Butler, James Tiptree Jr, Margaret Atwood, Karen Joy Fowler, Pat Cadigan, Justina Robson" shows that he is speaking only of the genre's left and also suffices to show the inferiority of the works produced by that side of the genre. With the exception of Le Guin and Sheldon, no science fiction fan would trade a single Herbert or Heinlein novel for the complete collected works of all the others... well, perhaps some of the later Heinleins.

The fate that awaits the world of professional published science fiction is that which ultimately befell the art of Socialist Realism. Because it is imposed by a small, centralized group that happened to seize the relevant power, it will collapse and fade away once the group's power ceases to be relevant. As it so often does, economic and technological changes have eroded the power of the gatekeeper's, which is why we can watch the collapse of Nightshade Books and anticipate the coming closure of other publishers and imprints which are infested with the ideological cancer.

SF/F's left-wing gatekeepers made the same error that the ABCNNBCBS cabal made when instead of simply reporting the nation's news, it attempted to turn itself into the propaganda wing of the Democratic Party. But there will be no singular Fox News prison-raping its competitors in the case of SF/F, instead, there will be Glenn Reynold's army of a thousand Davids, with successful independent authors like Larry Correia and Marko Kloos demonstrating to every other writer deemed politically incorrect and/or unpublishable by the gatekeepers that the gates have been torn down. In the popular feminist fiction A Handmaids Tale by Margaret Atwood a totalitarian regime takes over America and subjugates women. Women are put into classes and the “Handmaides” have the duty of bearing children for the “Wives”.

The book depicts a dystopian nightmare. Women devalued as humans and used soley for their reproductive abilities.

How ironic then that the feminist nightmare is coming true at the hands of the feminist movement itself. Thanks to their efforts in divorcing sex from love, marriage, and procreation..and thanks to their championing gay rights…the devaluing of the feminine is nearly complete.

Mike Aki and his husband, a Massachusetts couple, confronted this question. The couple planned on having two children. But their two surrogate mothers in India each became pregnant with twins.

At 12 weeks into the pregnancies, Mr. Aki and his husband decided to abort two of the fetuses, one from each woman. It was a very painful call to make, Mr. Aki says. “You start thinking to yourself, ‘Oh, my god, am I killing this child?'”

He didn’t think of his decision as an abortion, but as a “reduction,” he says. “You’re reducing the pregnancies to make sure you have a greater chance of healthy children,” Mr. Aki says. “If you’re going to bring a child into this world, you have an obligation to take care of that child to the best of your abilities.”

Of course, the first and foremost tragedy of this situation is the innocent lives they dispose of and rationalize with verbal acrobatics. “We prefer to call it a reduction”.

But notice as well that these two men never even consider the impact on the women they are asking to abort. While nurturing a child and giving it away is a trauma in itself…at least birthing it is entirely natural and relatively safe. Abortion, however, is not natural or all that safe..it can lead to many physical complications and has been known to result in PTSD. There is also evidence to suggest that selective reduction of multiples may lead to psychological problems in the surviving children….but they don’t seem to care about that either.

If the idea of using an impoverished woman to carry your designer baby and forcing her to abort the “extras” is repulsive to you then maybe you actually value women’s humanity and not just their reproductive organs. And it would also mean you aren’t very feminist. Go figure.

The leftists ignore the rules, they shouldn’t be surprised when the laws they pass are ignored by their opponents (see Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy and all the heavily armed and armored militiamen that came to his defense. The Fed SWAT was forced to stand down. There will be more of this as Pax Americana declines.)

ASUNCION, Paraguay (AP) -- An indigenous woman has been burned alive in Paraguay after being accused of witchcraft.

Officials said Wednesday that members of the Mbya Guarani community tied 45-year-old Adolfina Ocampos to a wooden pole and shot arrows at her before they burned her alive.

Ocampos was sentenced to death last week by the community's chief in Tahehyi, a village some 180 miles (290 kilometers) north of the capital, Asuncion.

Local prosecutor Fany Aguilera has charged nine men in the village with first-degree murder, and they have already acknowledged killing the woman.

A report by the UN Refugee Agency estimates that thousands of people worldwide are accused of being witches every year. The UN says they are often abused, cast out of their families and communities and sometimes killed.
