She was baptized the next day and then she became one of the best evangelists in our church, started carrying around her Bible telling all of her friends about Jesus and she started dating boys.

She stops getting attractive at 20, and maintains those looks (if she didn't have any children) for possibly 5 years. And then a gradual decline happens after age 25. Each passing year, she grows attractive to fewer men, until she's in her 50s and basically sexually invisible to nearly all men save perhaps the one who committed to her in the heyday of her youth and attractiveness (the husband she married 25 years earlier). The husband will have "wife goggles" for her because her younger self will have been imprinted on his mind. He will never have trouble seeing the younger woman. However, other men will only see the aging near menopausal woman.

This is why its important for women to make use of their sexual capital and marry early.

The price that women pay for not being burdened with being the ones who have to initiate relationships/make the first move etc is that later on a woman's physical quality degrades such that no one really desires them physically.

Women have an instinctive understanding of all this, which is why they're always limiting the subset of men who they would date to the subset of men who could POSSIBLY find them attractive. For instance, a 42 year old woman will consider dating men in their 40s and 50s, but she won't consider dating men in their 20s or 30s. That's because she knows that for those younger men, she would be competing against late teenagers and women in their 20s and 30s. So she rationalizes her (reasonable) calculation as being a consequence of desiring someone with equivalent/similar life experiences/maturity etc when the reality is that she's simply setting her sights on what she can get.

However, if they wish to enter through their mother’s birth canal (a southern border of its own, you might say), we can not only refuse them, but suck their brains out of their skulls and incinerate them for fuel.

Perhaps we should think of babies as ‘birth immigrants’ and then they’d be protected from murder with the same fervor that we protect born children from being put on a bus and brought back to their families in their home countries.

Illegal immigration is another issue where those who generally advocate for the most sinister and diabolical institutions known to man all of a sudden become ‘compassionate’ and ‘empathetic.’ But this compassion and empathy is just a mask they wear to cover up the fact that, in truth, their hearts are numb to human suffering, which is why they feel nothing as millions of dead children pile up beneath their feet.

Personally, I do feel great compassion for these kids, but the law can’t be put to the side for them. Besides, maybe they’re better off elsewhere. We don’t exactly treat children with humanity and respect in this country.

I have an idea: let’s concentrate on granting human rights to our own kids before we worry about granting citizenship to kids across the globe.

This morning at the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva, Saudi Arabia tried three times to stop the Center for Inquiry (CFI) from delivering a statement criticizing the country for its human rights violations.

Our statement, delivered by volunteer representative Josephine Macintosh, condemned Saudi Arabia's restrictions on freedom of religion, belief, and expression, highlighting the cases of jailed rights activists Raif Badawi and Waleed Abu al-Khair. We also raised the obvious tension between Saudi Arabia's human rights practices and its membership on the UN Human Rights Council.

Saudi Arabia interrupted Macintosh three separate times to complain that her statement was "unacceptable" and "completely outside" the parameters of debate.

Ultimately, however, the Saudi efforts were denied. Four member states — Canada, France, Ireland, and the United States -- spoke out in support of Center for Inquiry's right to deliver the statement. Even more to the point, UN Human Rights Council Vice President Katerina Sequensova responded that "speakers are expected to raise issues or comment on human rights situations that require the Council's attention, including a human rights situation at a country level." She informed Saudi Arabia that it should use the mechanism which allows the country the right to reply.

Unsurprisingly, Saudi Arabia did not use its right of reply — which suggests it was interested only in intimidating CFI from calling attention to the cases of Badawi and al-Khair, and noting the hypocrisy of Saudi Arabia being a member of the UN Human Rights Council while denying basic human rights to its citizens.

A child can figure it out by looking around him at the order and beauty of Nature. Our precedent for atheism is not only based on Psalm 14:1 but upon common sense.

Although it may be hard for you to see, my words are motivated only by love, and from a deep concern for where you spend eternity. The greatest favor anyone can ever do for an atheist is to pop his little bubble of delusion and bring him or her back to reality.
