“Armor of Light” – One Sided Propaganda about Misguided Preacher by Pro-Abortion Producer

This post is part of a larger conversation on the subject of Christians and guns at Patheos around the new documentary, The Armor of Light. For more responses to the film, click here.

The above still is from a new movie called “Armor of Light” about a pro-life pastor Rob Schenck who is now a crusader against the so-called “gun culture” in America.

This post in Raw Story calls out my mom, because Schenck uses her as a great example of how Christians should NOT be:

The documentary, “The Armor of Light,” asks whether it’s possible to be both pro-gun and pro-life, according to the website Addicting Info. The film follows Rob Schenck, “an Evangelical minister trying to find the courage to preach about the growing toll of gun violence in America.”

In one scene, Sarah Palin tells a cheering National Rifle Association crowd not to waste ammunition on a warning shot.

In the clip, Palin warns about efforts to “strip away our Second Amendment rights.”

“When pastors, preachers, bible teachers, ignore these questions, it creates a vacuum,” Schenck says in a voice over. “And other voices fill that vacuum.”

At this point Palin goes into a disturbing tirade about shooting first and asking questions later.

“Speaking of which, Joe Biden, remember this, telling women before an assault just to fire a warning shot,” Palin tells the crowd. “Just aim up in the air, that was his directive…Gals, you know that nowadays, ammo is expensive. Don’t waste a bullet on a warning shot.”

The movie is nothing more than liberal propaganda camouflaged as “thoughtful commentary.” The pastor says he caters to the conservatives and Tea Party activists as the camera pans over some photos of the pastor with famous conservatives – including what looks like the Pastor Saeed prayer vigil with Ted Cruz and one of my mom and dad with (apparently) the pastor and perhaps his wife. It looks like it was taken in Alaska. (I asked Mom about it – she doesn’t remember taking that photo and doesn’t remember meeting them.)

You would think — based on the noise around the film — that this film includes some courageous spiritual and moral guidance on guns. Though the pastor says repeatedly that he isn’t trying to have a “political conversation” but a theological one, he never, ever, ever looks to the Bible (which DOES speak to this issue).

Instead, he only looks to politicians and political issues. He says not to get your spiritual counsel from Fox News or the NRA, but from “trusted spiritual authorities.”

What about the Bible as a primary source?

It speaks to the weapon issue, though he conveniently skips the Bible passages that talk about being armed and protecting one’s family. The pastor says he doesn’t want to be labeled as a “liberal,” though he spouts leftist talking points from the first moments of the movie.

The movie goes back and forth between the pastor’s “courageous” and “risk-taking” advocacy against the 2nd amendment and the tragedy that occurred when Michael Dunn shot a black child named Jordan Davis over the volume of music coming from his vehicle. This, of course, is horrible. Our hearts and prayers should go out to the family affected – demolished – by those bullets. (The killer was convicted and is in jail.)

Jordan’s mom Lucy becomes a spokesperson against the Florida “Stand Your Ground” laws, saying that it’s the “will of the Lord” to change that policy. She gets a message from God that people need to see God’s face and repent from the gun culture. “We’ve replaced God with our guns as our protector.”

“Wow. That’s a bold, courageous thing to say,” the pastor says.

“Jesus never advocated violence, ever,” she says.

“I assumed we all thought that way,” he says.

Jordan’s mom isn’t pro-life, but she decides it’s okay to work with someone who’s pro-life like Rob Schenk.

Here’s my question. Since the number of deaths per year by gun users is dwarfed by the number of people killed through abortions, where’s the moment in the movie when he turns to Lucy and challenges HER beliefs that allow babies to get killed? Oh, that’s right — because it’s produce by a pro-abortion activist.

The Pastor keeps asking the most inane question “Can Christians be pro-life and pro-guns?” Maybe he thinks that the swelling emotional music behind the words somehow make them more “important.”

In speaking of the Holocaust, he said, “this is what happens when good people do nothing.”

But how did the “good people” stop those “bad people?” By wearing hipster glasses, making movies, and “having tough dialogues?”

His version of “courage” and “risk-taking” are pretty sheltered.

He must not know the importance of guns to my family, and many other families just like us.

We use those guns to FILL OUR FREEZER. To “live off the land” if you want to call it that. We use those guns to PROTECT ourselves, like many, many other people. Gun’s aren’t used strictly for violence like people want to paint them to be. I carry and I know by carrying its keeping my kids and my household a whole lot safer from creeps like we unfortunately face everyday.

This pastor must have had a pretty sheltered life not needing, or knowing the importance of guns in many American homes.

When a more liberal African American church goer said that God doesn’t call us to be “warriors,” and he says he tends to agree with them more than his conservative Christian counterparts.

It must be nice to sit back in your pew and let others defend you.

But it just sounds cheap and cowardly to me. I think Christians have a DUTY to carry and protect the innocent.

If you want to know what the Bible REALLY says about topics like this, buy my Mom’s new devotional instead of watching this new film:

Nowadays every 2nd person is a useful idiot worshipping some form of an ideology that just takes his money and laughs at him for buying into their BS. That and apologists who are prepared to eat $hit and claim its chocolate; mostly those that force you to get married and become a part of this useless, doomed system and die old and unwanted.

I am a man going his own way (I refuse to use a label MGTOW because now it has been butchered by sellouts) because I dont want to become a cuckold loser with an empty wallet and a destroyed life alongside b#stard kids that aint even mine. Every girl now is a cheater and would take a decent guy and simply destroy him and cheat on him with a worthless bum. I dont want to be emasculated like that so I am not interested in girls; for a logical reason.

Yet you get those, mostly family that I would also stab in their beds (my family are also huge pr!cks) that ask you "when are you going to get married?" and they force you and they say "but leaving a legacy" and other cliches we heard a bajillion times before. FOR WHAT?!
I dont want to leave anything on this planet, I dont need anything from it; I just want everyone to F#ck off!
Its not rocket surgery!

Useful idiots scream about how something is necessary and something is important but only to fill an agenda, but you get pressured as well into filling it.
"get a hobby" meaning line the pockets of some pr#ck who instead of working decided to become a snake oil salesman, put on a fancy suit and hang some s#it on his wall and charge for "teaching" you stupid crap that is useless to the highest degree. everyone signs up for something because its the IN thing, wasting their time and money; OK fine but dont force it!

Worst are those apologists, the coprophiliacs (s#it eaters basically) who are so whipped that they defend the most worthless and entitled leeches who are also the biggest turbo c#nts this side of a reality show; those defending "mothers"

Mothers, especially Western women, are all vile b#tches who only emasculate their sons and guilt trip them into being subservient slaves, yelling at them for no reason, mistreatment and abuse galore. They never cared and never will yet expect the son to always "understand" while the b#tch never understood him. They make a scene for the sake of it and in the end, she is always the victim.
She starts s#it, she acts like a c@nt yet she is still the victim and the son is still at fault. go effin figure.
Yet, you have some mang1na f$gs who crawl on their knees crying "oh thank you mom" thanks for what?! emasculating you into a p&ssy whipped b#tch

[Amendment Ba.2 to "A socialist response to the actions of the “Islamic State” and Western intervention in Iraq," Left Unity Conference, 15-16November 2014]

Criticisms of the call for the Caliphate must be countered by knowledge and understanding. Painting it as inseparable from violence or empire building is a false association that lacks historical, political and intellectual credibility. The Caliphate represents an alternative political vision that is gathering support amongst Muslims across the Muslim world because, for its adherents, like Hizb ut-Tahrir, it stands for replacing the brutal regimes in which they live with a political system based on Islam that sets up an accountable executive, an organised judiciary, representative consultation, the rule of law and citizenship; such a state could only be a stabilising force for the region and the European Left has to acknowledge and accept the
widespread call for a Caliphate among Muslims as valid and an authentic expression of their emancipatory, anti-imperialist aspirations. The call for the Caliphate, however vague and malleable the concept is, reflects a strong internationalism among Muslims, reinforced and reproduced for hundreds of millions each year by the Haj (Pilgrimage to Mecca), which breaks down and demotes any attachments to nation states of origin.

[...]

That the IS has committed atrocities but that these are not on a different moral plane to ther atrocities committed over recent years in the region; they emerge out of it and the brutalised context resulting from imperialism and the struggle against it.

[...]

That in wishing to establish a Caliphate, IS is directly challenging the Versailles settlement following the First World War that constitutes the framework of national states with in-built religious and ethnic differences, for facilitating imperialist domination of Oil sources, and this, not humanitarian concerns, is why imperialism has moved against it.

[...]

To show solidarity with the people of the Middle East by supporting the end of the structure of the divided nation states imposed by the Versailles settlement and their replacement by a Caliphate type polity in which diversity and autonomy are protected and nurtured and the mass of people can effectively control executive authority.

You talk about "lukewarm disciples" but you see nothing wrong with the fact she is a WOMAN pastor?! Please show me in the Bible where God says it's ok for a woman to be a pastor! You won't find it anywhere, but in 1Corinthians 14:34-35 and 1Timothy 2:11-12 it says women are to remain SILENT in the church and have no authority over men! I guess that would make this pastor a "lukewarm disciple" and anyone else who clearly overlooks and dismisses her cherry picking. As she said above, there are no grey areas when it comes to God's word!

I’m getting kind of tired of being manipulated by “pink.”

It’s the signature color of Planned Parenthood, one more sham to deceive women into feeling cuddly and protected as they seek services at a human slaughterhouse.

Big Abortion wants to attract you with the fluffy pink of their banners and T-shirts, to reassure you about your safety, to evoke in you a loving response to the little girl colors of innocence, childhood and goodness.

But the blood of unborn babies is not pink. It’s red. God help us, it’s red.

Thank the Lord, there’s another kind of blood that can cover these sins for women who want forgiveness and restoration, and that’s the blood of Jesus Christ. He will forgive even the repentant abortionist.

But it’s not just Planned Parenthood that’s weaponizing pink propaganda to mislead women. There’s the breast cancer “awareness” industry, or as some might call it, Big Breast.

And October is “Breast Cancer Awareness Month.” So get ready to be conned.

But I guess he is smarter than all the mini-Marvin's working for CERN who have been working on this Hadron Collider and don't know what their plan is but for supposedly intelligent people to be messing with stuff like this... sticking some metal tube into the earth to try and release demons or let the aliens come or who knows what but will most likely end up blowing up our own planet with it instead....

Justice for All

In general, Christians don’t expect non-believers to live according to biblical morals, and they want all American citizens to have their rights protected. There are some extremists in every group, but Christians do not want to impose their morals on others. However, neither do they want what they consider to be immorality imposed on them. The recent Supreme Court decision on same-sex marriage did just that, even though its most serious violation of America was about much more. It was an unconstitutional decision, and if allowed to stand, brings into question whether we are still a Constitutional Republic, or a nation of laws.

The Constitution is clear that any authority not specifically given to the Federal Government is reserved to the states and the people. Nowhere is the Federal Government given authority to impose such a social agenda. Many Americans seem to assume that because the Federal Government is bigger, it has authority over the states. The opposite is actually true if we are still basing our government on the Constitution. The states have authority over the Federal Government in everything that is not specifically mentioned in the Constitution as being given to the Federal Government. Any other authority it takes does not have legal legitimacy.

Thomas Jefferson’s loudest and most vehement warnings were about “judicial tyranny,” which he warned would become exactly like what the Supreme Court, and many of the Federal Courts, are now imposing on America. These rulings are unlawful and unconstitutional. The justices that blatantly violated their oath to defend the Constitution by voting for something like this should be impeached.

California’s vote for Proposition Eight in 2008 was the constitutional way to handle such issues—by the states and by the people. A state does have the right to have same-sex marriage or not. The State of California, and the people, decided how they wanted this issue settled in their state. They voted not to have same-sex marriage. A single Federal Court judge, who was himself exposed as being a practicing homosexual at the time of his decision, overturned the will of millions of people and the State of California. That is what Jefferson called “judicial tyranny.” It is unlawful and unconstitutional.

This judge should have certainly been impeached for such a violation of the Constitution, but no one did a thing because we do not have leaders who keep their oath of office. Those who did nothing should be impeached as well for not obeying their oath to defend the Constitution from enemies both foreign and domestic.

So should the President and his previous Attorney General be impeached for saying that they would not enforce laws they did not agree with because they took an oath to uphold the laws of the land? Absolutely. Their brazen contempt for the Constitution and the laws that were lawfully passed by Congress and signed by a President was a blatant violation of their oath of office, and so they should have been removed from office.

Not to defend the laws and the Constitution only releases further lawlessness in the land. So, those who did nothing in the face of this are just as guilty. If the President does not have to obey laws he does not agree with, why should anyone else?

So what can we do? It is up to the people, the ultimate authority, to impeach those who violate their oaths of office, to remove them from office, and indict those who have so betrayed their country.

I am exercising my God-given freedom, by publishing this desperately needed article about the Godless and heathen public school system. There is no evil today like the Communist, humanistic, sexually immoral public school system. I detest the public school system! It is destructive to the faith of children!

Perhaps you are asking, "What is so wrong with the public school system? In a word, EVERYTHING! Perhaps a better question is: What is right about the public school system? The truth is intolerant my friend. 1 + 1 = 2. Now you can ignorantly claim that 1 + 1 = 3; but you'd be wrong (and probably a product of the public school system). Children are robbed of faith in God in public schools. Instead, children are taught that they evolved from "stardust" which somehow formed into a planet, and then life just happened. Children are taught that humans are animals. If this is true, then bestiality is acceptable, right? This is what the evolutionists teach is it not?

Quote# 113826

The whole ‘Movember’ thing is cute and all, but can we stop and be real about it for a second? Movember is a movement to celebrate North American guys not practicing basic facial hygiene for a month in order to raise money towards saving a group of extremely privileged people—themselves.

Yes, if Movember was to raise money for people in third-world countries, for illiterate people, or homeless people, or for anything but what it is—which is privileged guys pretending they have it as hard as people with real problems—then it might come close to approaching something vaguely resembling worthwhile.

As far as I can tell though, the whole thing is just a really well-disguised tantrum that guys are content to throw to make it seem like prostate cancer research is as important as research towards curing women’s cancers, or, say, getting food and clean water to starving people.

Let me be clear—I don’t want anyone to get cancer. I don’t think a man getting cancer is less tragic than a woman getting cancer. I think it’s valid to want to raise money towards curing anything that’s killing human beings, and I appreciate the fact that the Movember movement is educating men with the intent to save lives.

But I’m realistic. Charity is often a bit of a zero sum game. People give a little money to one charity, and what’s the result? They have a bit less money left over to give to others, and, perhaps worse, they feel good about their good deed—good enough that they don’t have to feel guilty about not donating anywhere else.

The Movember people brag that their cause, fuelled by the Internet and well-meaning well-to-do people, has raised $176 million worldwide so far. Unfortunately, that’s $176 million taken away from more pressing issues in the world than prostate cancer, largely, I imagine, from individual donors, rather than governments or corporations.

It might not be much on the global charity scale, but ask yourself what that money could do to make a difference somewhere where people dying is a day-in, day-out matter of getting food and water or vaccines, rather than having a latex-gloved finger inserted gently into their rectum once a year.

Furthermore, it’s worth mentioning that, as far as cancers go, prostate cancer is not much of a cancer.

It’s slow acting, and it has relatively low death rates. Men diagnosed with prostate cancer are more likely to die from something else than they are from prostate cancer.

It also affects North American men way more than anywhere else in the world, largely due to living and eating habits. Men in Detroit get prostate cancer at about 100 times the rate of men in Hanoi. One hundred times. That’s not even close. Prostate cancer is a first-world problem.

Instead of not shaving, these Mo-Bros, if they were really concerned about the actual prostate issue, should consider exercising more and eating less red meat.

Perhaps Movember has become so popular because of the way we’re treating it—like it’s a cute little initiative worth supporting, like a child with a lemonade stand. It doesn’t feel serious, because, let’s face it, it isn’t when compared to other problems.

Men, by and large, are doing okay for themselves. They’re still out-earning women by significant amounts. Cancer doesn’t exist in a vacuum—it affects the whole of a person’s life. Disease aside, the richer a person is, the better their chances are, especially in countries where your cash inflow influences the quality of your care.

Men—or any privileged group—will have an inherent advantage when it comes to beating cancer and landing on their feet than more disadvantaged people.

So this November, let’s not keep patting the Mo-Bros on the head and tolerating this childish self-involvement-fest disguised as selflessness and the propagation online and in the media of the inherent importance of North American men and their problems.

Guys—keep shaving. Educate yourselves. Get checked. Be a man about it—don’t act like you’re hard-done-by.

There are a lot of people in the world who would trade your slight risk of prostate cancer for their serious risk of being raped, being killed, starving to death, or dying of preventable diseases. Prostate cancer is a hallmark of privilege. Deal with it.

And for everyone, if you’re going to donate money somewhere this month—and I encourage you to—look around for a cause more worthy, that’ll help some group that needs it more. I assure you, you won’t have trouble finding one.

Quote# 113820

The theory of evolution, which is taught as a fact in our public school textbooks, tax-supported parks, museums, and public television programs, is actually not a harmless theory but a dangerous religious belief. People need to learn the truth in order to expose evolutionism as being largely responsible for molding the thinking of hosts of people like Adolph Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Pol Pot of the Khmer in Cambodia, Margaret Sanger, and Karl Marx, who have caused untold suffering in our world. Evolution as it is being taught is dangerous for several reasons. At stake is the credibility of Jesus. He said the creation of Adam was "the beginning" (Matthew 19:4). Evolution and creation represent worldviews that are polar opposites – one of them is wrong! Also at stake are the morals of our children, because if evolution is true, there are no moral absolutes and only the strongest have a right to survive. If evolution is true, abortion, euthanasia, pornography, genocide, homosexuality, adultery, incest, etc., are all permissible.

Evolution is positively anti-science. Science deals with things that are testable, observable, and demonstrable and evolution has none of those qualities. To call evolution "science" is to confuse fairy tales with facts. True, evolution has been mixed with science for the last thirty years, but that does not mean that it is the same as science. Beer is often advertised during sporting events but the two subjects have no logical connection, and evolution has no more to do with science than beer has to do with sports.

Real science, not evolution, should be taught in the science classes. Teaching the religion of evolutionism is a waste of valuable class time and textbook space. Evolution is a theory, not a fact, regarding the origin of living things. It has never been proven, as such, it remains a theory.

Government should not sponsor religion. It take just a much faith to believe in evolution as it does to believe in intelligent design. Teaching the theory of evolution as fact in tax-supported schools violates the establishment clause of the First Amendment. Why should all taxpayers support one religion over all others in our schools? Efforts must be made on all fronts to inform people that evolution is only a religion and that tax-supported institutions should not teach it as fact.

Facts About Evolution

FACT 1: Evolution is a theory, not a fact, regarding the origin of living things.

FACT 2: Evolution has never been proven, as such, it remains a theory.

FACT 3: It take just a much faith to believe in evolution as it does to believe in intelligent design.

Do Creationists fight against science?

This question is amusing since all major branches of science were started by creationists. There has never been one advancement in any field of science that the evolution theory has helped. The evolution theory is useless. I don't know of any creationists who fights against science. Most creationists that I know love science and only fight against evolution. You may be confusing the evolution theory with science. Some think the two go together. This is a common mistake due to the intense evolution propaganda campaign of the last 50 years. There has never been any evidence that any kind of plant or animal has ever been able to create itself or produce any other kind of plant or animal. We have seen thousands of changes within the created kinds but that is not evolution. Please don't accuse me of being against science. I am only against the false teaching of evolution as science.

Jonathan Greenblatt's terribly misplaced outrage demonstrates a self-destructive ignorance of the frequency of firearm confiscation as a prelude to totalitarian rule. From early on in the ascension of the Nazis to total power, private gun ownership by Jews was prohibited and existing weapons were confiscated. As you can read at the link below, gun registries were used to identify Jewish gun owners and confiscate their weapons. Mr Greenblatt, your hyperbolic rhetoric should now turn to correctly reporting this issue. The Nazis considered it crucial to disarm the Jews. Why? Because armed citizens represent a much more difficult target to suppress or exterminate. Switzerland's armed neutrality, where every citizen performs National Service and is issued their own personal rifle, updated regularly as technology allows, has led to many a tyrant having second thoughts about attacking it. Make no mistake, attacking Ben Carson for musing about what would have happened if Jews had seen the writing on the wall and armed themselves, is absurd and unfair. I wish that my extended family, all of whom were murdered by the Nazis, had lived in a state of armed readiness instead of total defencelessness.

What will happen to the trillions of dollars of Big Pharma investment for creating cancerous cells in Humanity and milking the insurance companies?

So you see, the Global Controllers are worried sick about Star Seeds. The peculiarities of Jake and Jan (their families asked that their real names not be used) were apparent from an early age.

As a toddler, Jan sometimes spoke using her own language. Instead of "cookie," she would say "cookah" and refused to call a sandwich anything but a "phonic." Odder still, she didn’t begin speaking until she was three years old.

For Jake’s part, he had trouble grasping the concept that he was not in charge. "He has to be told," Jake’s mother says. "He doesn’t think he needs permission." Spence noticed a similar idiosyncrasy in her granddaughter. "You have to coax her to do her homework," she says.

At first glance, they look like perfectly ordinary first-graders scribbling feverishly on the blackboard, but there is something striking about the boy’s deep blue eyes that suggests a maturity well beyond his years.

Jake’s in advanced classes and already reading at a third-grade level. Jan is the quiet one, but has a presence that immediately draws attention. Her predilection is toward art, though at the moment she is choosing to write math equations on the board, erasing them as soon as she’s completed each of her computations.

Jake’s mother is a teacher at this Baytown-area school, and worries that he may be ostracized by his peers if word ever gets out about his special gifts. "He questions everything because he wants to know," she says as her son draws a picture of a lollipop tree. "The questions he asks are not even age-appropriate."

These children tend to know things without ever being taught or told. Jake’s companion Jan "can use a compound bow very well," says the girl’s grandmother, Jill Spence. "She can shoot a BB gun; she goes fishing." It just came naturally to her, Spence says. She can’t explain it.

They go by many names, such as Star Kids, Indigos or Crystalline Children. Whatever they’re called, believers say this group of prodigies started appearing about 30 years ago and may now make up as much as 90 percent of the population under ten. They also exhibit strange side effects, like a higher resistance to pollutants but an increased sensitivity to sugar and food additives.

These are babies born with an inherent knowledge of art, language and spirituality, possessing an impressive wealth of wisdom. Some will even go so far as to say these kids are not only prime candidates for the gifted and talented program, but the next step in human evolution.

Parents and those who study these children have been asking themselves why here? Why now? Theories about their origins range from spirits entering from other planes and dimensions to chosen ones delivered from heaven. Some even suggest aliens have been abducting and manipulating the DNA of these children and their parents to prepare us for when they make their presence known.

The one thing all these groups do agree on is that the kids are out there, and they’re coming to teach us a lesson.

What are the main reasons why God wants the USA to be a strong Christian nation? Here are ten truths to teach in our government and in every church, school and homeschool. (This is an exserpt from Pastor Steven Andrew’s book “Making A Strong Christian Nation“.) Why God Wants the USA a Strong Christian Nation

1. God Expects Nations to Follow Him
God says to make the LORD our God (Psalm 33:12).

2. God Wants a Tabernacle in Our Nation
The Holy Spirit seeks to dwell in each heart as a tabernacle across our nation (1 Corinthinas 3:16, Leviticus 26:11).

3. God Wants Fellowship with the USA
God’s ultimate intention for our nation is that we are His people (Psalm 33:12, Leviticus 26:12).

4. God Seeks to Fill our Nation With Himself
Jesus is the Head of the church and He wants His body (church) to fill the USA (Ephesians 1:22, 4:15).

5. Jesus Said: Make Disciples of the USA
One of God’s greatest desires is for whole nations to be His disciples who obey Him (Matthew 28:18-20).

6. Our Nation is to Seek First the Kingdom of God
God tells the USA to “seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness” (Matthew 6:33).

7. The USA Can Only Come to God Through Jesus
God wants to redeem each nation. Jesus is the way to the Father. Jesus’ death forgives our nation’s sins. No nation can come to God except through Jesus (John 14:6).

8. God Desires to Bless the USA
God wants our nation to be blessed. Only a Christian nation has God’s true blessings (Psalm 33:12).

9. Our Christian Nation Glorifies God
“All nations whom You have made shall come and worship before You, O Lord, and shall glorify Your name” (Psalm 89:6).

10. Jesus Came to Give Americans Life
God wants the USA to have life abundantly, being free from sin, Satan and the world (John 10:9-10).

Sweden is Saudi Feminabia, a hive minded (like Reddit) quasi-socialist state with too much 'humanity' in its heart that it's providing humanity to inhumane islamo-fascists, and feminazis.

Rape is normal too, it happens everywhere with some frequency. Men were designed by nature to be able to have sex whenever we want (hence the penis).

Since the "rape" appears to just be fingering and masturbating over, I'd say the punishments are fair. I would hope this girl learned something but I doubt it. I wouldn't be surprised if the people in this thread are more outraged over this incident than the girl who was "raped."

[The charges go beyond "rape". Any current article will give you that info. Read a few and you might find out more as to what transpired.WOW, a girl gets violated and humiliated in more ways than one, and you doubt she wouldn't learn from it? Do you doubt that the boys will learn anything as well?Double WOW - based on your post it's clear that you can't see where the outrage is directed.]

The girl got fingered which is sexual assault but I doubt she internalized any humiliation being drunk and passed out. The boys got JV, and while they'll probably only serve about 6 months to 1 year before getting out, they'll be registered sex offenders for the rest of their lives.

As for this fingering thing, it happens so much to people passed out that I'm sure the boys didn't even know it was illegal. It's certainly misleading to call it rape.

[they got off easy]

If they raped her (penis into vagina), I would agree. But they will be sex offenders for the rest of their lives, their futures are not so bright anymore.

I just came from South Padre and witnessed young kids doing all these things to both men and women passed out from drinking too much. Urinating, stripping and taking photos next to the passed out person, fondling genitalia, tea bagging, etc I doubt any of these spring breakers will go to jail. I doubt the men and women violated feel all that violated in this culture, it's just considered normal. I think a lot of people in this thread are not fully aware what young people do these days.

Yes, agreed. To stop it going round it is best to finally recognise that there is good evidence that Jesus is the Son of God

So “wine” in a Biblical sense is not to be compared to today's distillery-produced alcoholic drinks. Jesus did not turn the water into intoxicating wine at the marriage feast (His first miracle), lest He be responsible for people getting drunk. “Wine” in the Holy Bible has over a dozen different meanings, which includes natural fruit juice. Only a beer-loving-fool would dare claim that Jesus was a beer-loving-Savior. Proverbs 20:1 teaches that “WINE IS A MOCKER.” The Lord was no fool. Young people, run from alcohol.

Quote# 113794

Let me be honest with you. This doesn't mean I won't be sad. Are you ready? Everybody that doesn't believe in God goes to hell. You must believe in God, or else you take your weakness with you to hell. It's actually true, as per the definition of God as the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob--- the only God. God sets up definitions for his belief: You must believe in him is one example. And you must. Since when does a god actually set it about that you don't get something for belief? The christian God sets it about that if you don't believe in him, hellfire is your punishment. And this does include agnostics too. The reason is evident: If you do not believe in God, you go to hell. Why be a person who claims an attitude of unbelief? To smite the creator, and intentionally choose to prefer a more just manner of conduct (which is impossible). When you intentionally choose the attitude of smiting the creator, knowing full and well that you will go to hell for your conduct, you are in danger of hell fire. And when you smite him for the last time and intentionally prefer hell fire, knowing full and well that God does not exist, you will actually go to hell.

After all, no God comes along and promises belief to his followers and doesn't promise hell fire for the disbelievers. The main reason I post to this website is to try and convince atheists that they are in danger of hell fire. And the reasons that they have for being believers is interesting. Does crossless believe that he is a signifigant enough atheist to warrent the behaviors I have described as the only ones that are christian, and embraces an attitude of hatred against the creator? If he does, he is in danger of hell fire, and should read this post before he does anything else.

It fills us with shame at the lack of leadership in our American government. We wish Russia were our true ally. What’s wrong with these leaders? Warmongering megalomaniacs rule the world – into its own destruction.
