Quote# 114480

I grew up on the Northside of Chicago, and our baseball team was the Chicago Cubs. Harry Caray (1914-1998) was a famous radio and TV broadcaster for the Chicago Cubs baseball team for many years. Mr. Caray was renowned for his exuberant saying, “Holy Cow!” Although such casual misuse of the Biblical term “holy” may not seem disrespectful to many people, it most certainly is to God. We ought never make light of the holy things of God. To curse in the Lord's name identifies one's self with the wicked world and Satan.

Such misuse of the word “holy” was also featured in the script of the 1970's Batman series, with Robin continually making such exclamations as: “Holy %$#@* Batman!” Never in the history of America have so many people misused and abused spiritual terms, and taking God's name in vain, as they do today. Any mention of the word “holy” should only be reserved for that which is Biblically holy; such as, the Holy Spirit or the Holy Bible. It is evil to call a cow “holy,” or God forbid, calling dung “holy,” which is popular in Hollywood films (i.e., “holy sh*t”). It couldn't be more obvious that such a wicked term originated with God-haters!

It is more than coincidental that even your Atheists curse in God's name, especially when they get angry. If you don't believe the Bible for the Bible's sake, then believe it for the self-incriminating nature of man. At the climax of pain, anger, joy, or pleasure... God's name is often taken in vain by the sinful world. A common expression heard today is... "Oh my God!" This is sinful when used is passive speech. The name of God is holy and we should be careful to show great respect.

You really are dumber than a box of rocks and have NO UNDERSTANDING of our Constitution and Constitutional law. NONE!!! This is why homosexuality is still a mental disorder. The constitution does not give the federal government the power to define marriage. Republicans (and Democrats) gave the federal government the power to define marriage with DOMA. The Supreme Court has since ruled that the federal government does not have that power and invalidated DOMA because that power is not given to the federal government by the constitution. It is reserved for the states. That is the law. You cannot have it both ways. Stop being so ignorant of our Constitutional process!!!! You have absolutely no clue!!!

State Law trumps Federal Law in this case, it is therefore a VALID conclusion that the Federal Courts cannot invalidate a State Law that defines something that is a state’s issue. Regardless of how bad you want it or how loud your scream that it is unfair. You want your cake and eat it too? Get an Amendment to the federal constitution that defines marriage in America as anything you like. Barring that, expect to lose the argument in a court of law unless you can pack the court with liberal justices that would prefer to shove their ideology down the American throat than interpret the constitution.

It's called judicial tyranny!!! And that's exactly what the SCOTUS did when they ruled that the 14th amendment provides for sodomy marriage. It is a LIE!!!

Stop being so ignorant!!!! You have NO idea what you are talking about!!! NONE!

Let me state this in a way Liberals can understand: The 10th Amendment gives powers to the States and to the People that are not specified in the Constitution – not to the Federal Government. In Section 1 of the 14th Amendment, you have "due process of law", as you also supposedly have in all 50 states. Now, CA Proposition 8 and the Amendments to the 36 State Constitutions and DOMA were ALL ! due process of law. The law of the land is legislated by the People or the States - not the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court is supposed to only rule extant Laws either Constitutional or not. Ruling as such does not nullify the laws; it only provides a ruling concerning the laws in existence.

Furthermore, the 11th Amendment to the Constitution forbids citizens from suing other citizens across state lines. The Supreme Court violated the 10th and 11th amemdment, and twisted the 14th amendment to include those that choose to act (homosexuals are not born that way, identical twins with different sexual orientations prove this scientifically so).

Since State Constitutions are sovereign documents in and of themselves, and since the U.S. Constitution says that citizens cannot bring suit from different states to the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court has presumed authority where it has no authority.

Quote# 114473

In the name of Allah, the All Merciful, the Very Merciful.

The Very High All Said: “It is He who expelled the ones who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture from their homes at the first gathering. You did not think they would leave, and they thought that their fortresses would protect them from Allah ; but [the decree of] Allah came upon them from where they had not expected, and He cast terror into their hearts [so] they destroyed their houses by their [own] hands and the hands of the believers. So take warning, O people of vision.” Surah 59 verse 2.

In a blessed attack for which Allah facilitated the causes for success, a faithful group of the soldiers of the Caliphate, may Allah dignify it and make it victorious, launched out, targeting the capital of prostitution and obscenity, the carrier of the banner of the Cross in Europe, Paris… Youths who divorced the world and went to their enemy seeking to be killed in the cause of Allah, in support of His religion and His Prophet, Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him, and his charges, and to put the nose of His enemies in the ground. So they were honest with Allah, we consider them thusly, and Allah conquered through their hands and cast in the hearts of the Crusaders horror in the middle of their land, where eight brothers wrapped in explosive belts and armed with machine rifles, targeted sites that were accurately chosen in the heart of the capital of France, including the Stade de France during the match between the Crusader German and French teams, where the fool of France, Francois Hollande, was present.

[They also targeted] the Bataclan Conference Center, where hundreds of apostates had gathered in a profligate prostitution party, and other areas in the 10th and 11th and 18th [arrondissements] and in a coordinated fashion. So Paris shook under their feet, and its streets were tight upon them, and the result of the attacks was the death of no less than 100 Crusaders and the wounding of more than those, and unto Allah is all praise and gratitude.

Allah had granted our brothers their wish and gave them what they loved, for they detonated their belts in the gatherings of the disbelievers after running out of ammunition, we ask Allah to accept them among the martyrs and make us follow them.

Let France and those who walk in its path know that they will remain on the top of the list of targets of the Islamic State, and that the smell of death will never leave their noses as long as they lead the convoy of the Crusader campaign, and dare to curse our Prophet, Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him, and are proud of fighting Islam in France and striking the Muslims in the land of the Caliphate with their planes, which did not help them at all in the streets of Paris and its rotten alleys. This attack is the first of the storm and a warning to those who wish to learn.

Allah is the greatest.

“And to Allah belongs [all] honor, and to His Messenger, and to the believers, but the hypocrites do not know.” Surah 63 verse 8

Quote# 114472

One of the stupidest games atheists play is pretending that God can be proven or unproven by human logic. How ridiculous is it to take creatures who know as little about their own world as we do and set them up as all-wise? The assumption that all reality can be revealed through logical musings is in itself utterly illogical. The history books are filled with humans making absurd assumptions about their own anatomy, the world, and the universe because they thought their logical arguments were the epitome of proof. Well, suppose your mother starts coughing up blood, wheezing, complaining of chest pains, and losing a lot of weight. We could form a very logical argument that she has advanced lung cancer, because these are the symptoms of it. If human reasoning is the ultimate proof of reality, then we should start pumping her full of chemo and surgically removing portions of her lungs. Why bother with x-rays and CT scans? Once we’ve built a logical argument, we need no further proof. And yet would you agree to have some doctor slice open your chest simply based on a collection of symptoms? Certainly not, because those symptoms could be caused by many other things as well. In the same way, Christians can weave together impressive arguments for why God must be, or they can stutter and stammer and end up thoroughly stumped by your clever comebacks, but so what? Are you going to let the quality of someone else’s debating skills determine who you pray to? If God is real, do you really think He’s going to let you off the hook because you never found a Christian who could argue as well as you can? Debate and human reasoning have nothing to do with it. God isn’t some theory cooked up by Socrates, He’s a living Being who says that if you keep defying Him, He might suddenly decide that He’s done with your attitude and kill you off. Then you’ll end up in Hell with more proof of God’s existence than you ever wanted and no way to reconcile with Him. Is that your idea of a victory?

The reason we don’t get into long debates with atheists is that we’re simply not invested. Unlike some Christians, we don’t have a burning need to see your soul end up on the right side of eternity. The God we know says He’s perfectly fine with you roasting in Hell. He’s God—we’re not going to criticize His preferences. Since He’s fine with you defying Him your whole life, so are we. We know as well as you do that these little fits you work yourself into are just a game. If you were really serious about finding God, you would seek Him directly. But the truth is that most of you have already met God, and you found Him to be Someone who you heartily disapprove of. Fine. If you want to pretend that God thinks you’re a higher authority than He is, what can we say? Have fun in Hell.

[Have I been raped?

I was in this guy's bedroom - we'd fooled around once before, but nothing serious. I didn't feel like sex, so I pretended to be asleep. He started to undress me and I froze as I realised he was entering me from behind. Was I raped? I have threatened legal action but he claims he only wanted to make the night special. I feel sick. What should I do?]

Did you tell him to get off you? Did you even say 'No!'? If you resisted and he carried on 'making the night special', then you've every right to go to the law and you should, to protect other women from his attention. However, the law is there to see both sides. When you say that you didn't 'feel like sex', it suggests you are sexually experienced, even though you had not slept with this man before. And so I (and probably the law) have to ask, what were you, a knowing young woman, doing lying on his bed, if you did not expect him to take it as an invitation? Unless he drugged you or you were desperately ill, you are responsible for yourself. If you cannot say, hand-on-heart, you have absolutely no responsibility for this unfortunate event, I'm afraid the best thing you can do, is learn from it. If a woman goes alone to a man's room and lies down on his bed, it will not generally be seen as an innocent act. Let the lesson remain: you're worth more than this - never let it happen again.

Note: Luke 18:22 in the KJV reads 'sell all that thou hast...' but Donna prefers the Matthew 19:21 '...sell that thou hast' version

Note that Jesus didn’t tell him to go and sell ALL that he had. Christ never ordered anyone to give up all earthly possessions as the price for following Him. The disciples voluntarily left everything they had to be His disciples, but they were quite poor to begin with. It wasn’t much of a financial sacrifice for them; besides, all their needs were met while they were with Him.

Not to put to finer a point on it, but of course being an atheist makes you stupid. It can’t not make you stupid if you try to take it seriously and not just half ass it the way the new atheist clowns do. Atheism implies a certain metaphysics about the world, this is unavoidable as the atheist cannot consistently hold to a metaphysics that logically concludes their is a creator.

As a result, with the thin and sub-standard metaphysics they are forced to embrace, they are forced to constantly deny things about that cannot fit and cannot exist.

The usual one they start denying is morality but when followed consistently, you need to deny, knowledge, mind, consciousness, reason, logic and ultimately even the idea of composite objects. Why they choose this part to nihilistic madness rather than embrace a generic theism (Deism cannot provide the metaphysical foundation either) is beyond me, but they do.

Quote# 114450

New items can indeed be cursed! Satan knows full well when something evil is made. So does God. It doesn’t matter how it was created. What matters is what it was created for. New items that have been created to use in the worshiping of false gods is one of the biggest areas where something new could still be cursed. For example, new Christmas lights sitting on the store shelf waiting to be sold, are still cursed, for it was made to celebrate the winter solstice. It is the same with chocolate Easter bunnies, a four leaf clover good luck charm, or even a wreath. If it is sold to be come a part of a pagan ritual, then it is very cursed, even before it is bought by someone. Even if it simply has pagan history associated with it, it is cursed, even if you would not be using it as such. (Take for example, a rabbits foot good luck charm. Even if you simply like the look of it, and do not think of it as a good luck charm, it is still cursed because of its history of being a good luck talisman to others in the past.) Demons do not differentiate between what an item is and what you deem it to be. If they recognize it as being at all pagan, then they will look upon it as being a neon sign that welcomes them.

Also, be aware, an item is usually owned immediately by someone. Who owns the machine that created it? Who owns the supplies needed to make it? Who owns the land upon which it was found or made? Do not think that just because it sits upon a shelf in a store waiting to be sold to someone, that it does not already belong to someone. Indeed, some of the most cursed items our family has come across, has been from items made by the unbelieving owner of a small shop. If that small shop owner is for example a Wiccan, a Satanist, a Hindu, a native American Indian, (pick any false religion,) or even an atheist, their items that they are selling are cursed. Somehow the sin of their pagan worship practices (or the sin of their unbelief,) rubs off onto the items that they sell. For some reason we have not found this to be as strong in the big box stores. Most of the everyday items, for example, that are sold in Walmart, we have not found to be cursed.

The media's portrayal of Taylor Swift as a Christian is a big farce! Her younger brother is a student at the University of Notre Dame, a Catholic research university. Catholicism is a Satanic cult! Although rumors circulate on the internet of Swift's Christian background, Taylor herself refuses to acknowledge that she is a Christian.

Pastor Jerry Falwell (1933-2007) once said that we don't have to lift the sewer cap to know what's in the sewer. He's correct! But the reason I expose things such as this horrible video by Taylor Swift is because the media have painted a rosy picture of Miss Swift as a good innocent girl compared to bad girl Miley Cyrus. The truth is that they're all “Pawns In The Game” of the Illuminati's agenda to destroy America's youth, turning them into Communist sympathizers, liberals and sex-perverted Satanists. Parents need to speak out and denounce the immoral, Satanic, ungodly music and videos of Taylor Swift. Truly, we are living in the “perilous times” of the Last Days as foretold in 2nd Timothy 3:1-5 in the New Testament.

Quote# 114445

Strong trust cannot be anchored on feelings and sensual feedback—it must be anchored solely on God’s Character. It must become so anchored on Him that it can persist in the face of contrary sensual feedback. Strong trust knows that God is present even when emotions are screaming that He is far away. Strong trust does not rely on senses to define reality—it relies solely on God. The only way to develop this kind of trust is to go through “dry spells”—periods when we experience no warm fuzzies in our relationship with God. To survive such a period, our trust must find a better foundation to cling to, for the sensual foundation it was leaning on has crumbled beneath it. Once trust re-anchors onto God’s good Character, it is in a position to grow much stronger. But to really attain more strength, it must now be put through a period of countering emotional feedback—times when it is bombarded with sensual “evidence” that God is the opposite of everything He says He is. By intentionally doing things that will cause us to feel deeply betrayed by Him, God forces us to really scrutinize the foundation of our trust. We must decide if we are going to believe the things He says about Himself—that He is good, that He is faithful, that He is for us, etc.—or if we are going to throw out everything He said because our sensual experience of Him isn’t lining up.

To reach deeper levels of intimacy with God, we have to let go of this need for our experience of Him to always feel like a logical match to the things He says about Himself. God is good, but there are many times when He will behave in ways that seem very evil to us. God is trustworthy, but there are many times when He will do things that we don’t understand. Our trust in Him must become strong enough to allow room for Him to behave in ways that seem illogical and contradictory without us immediately questioning His entire Character. God is far too huge and complex to be understood by our limited minds.

God wants you to become confident in His great love for you. He says that you are His priceless treasure, that He cares immensely about your suffering, and that all the misery He’s put you through so far is about preparing you to experience His best. Where you’re at now, all of this sounds pretty meaningless, yet it is true nonetheless. How do we emotionally connect with truths that sound too good to be true? By practicing those truths; by rehearsing them over and over again until they finally sink in.

[Bolding mine - Italics in original]

Tom Wyke, of the Associated Press, has an August 8, 2015 article with the title above — discussing why, to some degree, the Islamic State has had strategic success on the battlefield. At least part of that success, he argues, can be attributed to the 100 or so former members of Saddam Hussein’s military and intelligence services are sprinkled in key positions throughout Islamic State Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi’s militant Islamic terrorist organization. Indeed, al-Baghdadi’s Deputy. Abu Muslim al-Turkmani — was a former Army Major in Saddam’s Army. These former officers, Mr. Wyke writes, “give the Islamic State the organization, discipline, and the strategic guidance it needed [and needs], to build the military strategies which have led to the gains the militant jihadi group to their gains in Syria and Iraq.”
“While attending an Iraqi Army Artillery School nearly 20 years ago, Ali Orman remembers one Major well. An Islamic hard-liner, he once chided Orman for wearing an Iraqi flag pin into the bathroom — because it included ‘God is great.’ It is forbidden by religion to bring the name of the Almighty into a defiled place like this,’ Orman recalled being told by Maj. Taha Taher al-Ani. Orman didn’t see al-Ani again until years later, in 2003. The Americans had invaded Iraq; and, were storming toward Baghdad. Saddam Hussein’s fall was imminent. At a sprawling base north of the capital, al-Ani was directing the loading of weapons, ammunition, and ordnance into trucks to spirit away. al-Ani took those weapons with him when he joined Tawhid wa’l-Jihad, a forerunner of al-Qaeda’s branch in Iraq,” Mr. Wyke writes.
“Now. al-Ani is a Commander in the Islamic State, said Orman, who rose to become a Major General in the Iraqi Army; and, now commands its 5th Division fighting the Islamic State. Orman kept track of his former comrade through Iraqi’s tribal networks and intelligence gathered by the government’s main counter terrorism service — of which he is a member. They have been put in charge of intelligence-gathering, spying on the Iraqi forces, as well as maintaining and upgrading weapons; and, trying to develop a chemical-weapons program.”

Quote# 114439

Is Capital Punishment Biblical?

God did design capital punishment. No question about it. People say, “Does the Bible teach capital punishment?” Well, of course: it teaches it all over the place

If you read through the Old Testament law, you’ll find there was capital punishment required for many sins. For example, sex sins required capital punishment.

You know something interesting? In those periods of time in the Mosaic era, do you know who the executioner was when there was a sex crime or when there was a murder or when there was a dishonor to the parents or when there was a kidnapping or any of these crimes that were capital offenses?

The agent of vengeance who carried out the death penalty was the able-bodied male most nearly related to the victim. You know what that did? Boy, that really made society conscience of it! —

We say today, “Capital punishment isn’t a deterrent.” Of course not! Nobody’s involved in it. It happens somewhere in the corner somewhere, in a private little corner with nobody there, when nobody knows, and we don’t understand the agony of it. In 99% of the cases there is no agony of it!

But then it was very public. It was a family matter. It was right out there and people lived with the consequences of facing what sin brought and what crime brought, and believe me, it came as a deterrent.

There were three methods in the Old Testament: stoning, with the sword, burning. Stoning was used for those morally guilty, the swords were used for those who committed murder, and some even were burned.

There was an interesting incident there in Leviticus 20:14:

"And if a man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you."

Sexual sin there…burned with fire.

“And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the whore, she profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire.” Leviticus 21:9

Does the Bible teach capital punishment? Yes. And I believe that if it was still done in a biblical fashion today, we’d have a lot less crime than we have now.
