It is using modern engineering logic plus scientific insight to make Jesus' teaching 21st century. We know that electric energy requires a generating force and we know that all the behaviour, both thought and physical activity, in life, burns electric energy...and because there is common understanding between these things and what Jesus tells us we can deduce that our spiritual/electric nature is the same substance generated from an indestructible source...providing we keep our replicating body cells in good order...or under repair when in bad order.

Which ever way you turn we need the accurate teaching of Jesus Christ...as he alone taught it.

You are stuck on that old evolution thing which gives us no clues what-so-ever to how the human being sprung from the loins of a monkey. Better to believe what the Holy Bible says, that Almighty God made us and made us fit for the the environment that had already supported life but had become void with darkness on the face of the watery deep. Then we can say that every expression we make is a spiritual/electric expression and this is what guides us...but Jesus Christ, who is far more advanced than us, guides us best.

Your refusal to accept that we are living in an electric/spiritual universe where all the laws of physics have at their root electric/spiritual laws means you will have difficulty with anything I say. The fact that any religion exists at all is testimony that people suspect they have an electric/spiritual nature and try to express it in many different ways...but...the laws of physics that unify all the electric spiritual fundamental laws leads us to just one conclusion...the accurate teaching of Jesus Christ is the accurate teaching.

Quote# 121648

GOD not only says that all souls are HIS, but in Numbers 16:22 Moses and Aaron said HE is “the GOD of the spirits of ALL flesh.” In Jeremiah 32:27 GOD says, “I am the LORD, the GOD of ALL flesh.” GOD, in Jeremiah 1:5, told Jeremiah, “Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee.”

How could anyone have the audacity to destroy the soul, the spirit, and the flesh of any human baby that GOD knew before they were formed in the belly, let alone before they came out of the womb, even in the case of rape?

The real law is the law of GOD.1 Let us see what the law of GOD says.

“If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they shall both of them die [physically and Spiritually], both the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shalt thou put away evil from Israel. If a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed [engaged] unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her; Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour’s wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you. But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her [rapes her], and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die: But unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing; there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbour, and slayeth him, even so is this matter: For he found her in the field, and the betrothed damsel cried [cried for help because she didn’t want to be raped], and there was none to save her [from being raped]. If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her [rapes her], and they be found; Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel’s father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away [divorce her] all his days” (Deuteronomy 22:22-29).

When I first saw this law I thought, “How could a woman want to marry any man that raped her?” Then immediately, my mind went back to that day forty-eight years ago in a lawyer’s office in Beverly Hills where I first became acquainted with GOD. HE commanded me to tell the people in that office that JESUS CHRIST was coming back to earth again. GOD’S SPIRIT was upon me with such power, and I began reasoning with HIM, saying, “LORD, I’ll tell them tomorrow. I’ll call them on the phone. I’ll send them cables, telegrams, but don’t make me tell them now.” The office was filled with an entourage of my people and other people from the movie industry. I thought they would have me committed to an insane asylum if I did what HE was telling me to say and do. So GOD started pulling my spirit, my soul, in and out of my body, and let me know that if I didn’t say what HE was telling me to say, I would die right then and there. There wouldn’t be anything I could do to stop HIM from killing me. At the same time, I was feeling how powerful and intelligent HE is, and knew that no one could stop HIM from doing whatever HE wanted to do. Before this happened to me, I never believed in GOD or JESUS. I was considered the best advertising agent in any kind of business including show business. From that day forth, I quit being an advertising agent and began seeking the LORD. I have no problem believing anything that GOD said or says.

Time for some takedowns:

[121: He very explicitly stated that people should not be free to practice their religion. He never mentioned removing special protection for religious practices that violate human rights.]

The people and groups and followers of them I mentioned certainly don't deserve to practice their religion. I've said it myself--the scariest people in any video of Steven Anderson's sermons isn't Pastor Steve, it's the congregation cheering and shouting "Amen!" at his statements.

[Mister Spak: Do you realize that makes you like the Wahabi?]

I'm right, and they're wrong. That's the difference. Basic philosophy--the ends justify the means. Very little can be done in the name of justice that leads to justice that is actually wrong.

[Doubting Thomas: Here's the major problem, TTT, if you legislate freedom of religion away, then the government is going to be in charge of your religious beliefs.]

Sounds good to me. Ideas like the French Cult of Reason or the Soviet concept (sadly never put in place) of God-Building sound like an ideal state religion.

[Anon-e-moose: And it's precisely because of their homophobia that DOMA was declared unconstitutional, Prop.8 was repealed, culminating in the 26th June SCOTUS decision. Thus fundies don't have a legal leg to stand on, re. LGBT people, any more.

And it's precisely because of their fundieness.

No WBC here in the UK. Section 5 of the Public Order Act may have something to do with that. And - in both 2012 London & more recently in 2016 Rio - why didn't the devout Muslim Mo Farah, after winning the 5,000 & 10,000 Metres in both Olympics, parade round the stadium with an IS flag...?
]

But you took away their freedom. Since western society has such a huge basis in "no tolerance for intolerance", as evidenced by prohibitions on hate speech, etc., it's incredible that people haven't taken it to it's logical conclusion and started intolerated the hives of it like the individuals mentioned above.

[Psycho Tits (1): That's really dumb, TTT, and I'll tell you why in simple, blunt terms: When you fuck with fundamental freedoms such as religion (or speech or assembly, both of which are so tightly allied with freedom of conscience that to attack one is to attack all three) then that fuckery of yours WILL--count on this -- find its way back to you and it will devour your freedom along with the freedoms of the people you hate.]

[Psycho Tits (2): For fuck's sake, NeoMatrix - freedom of religion shouldn't - and really can't (ask the Soviets) - be "legislated away" at all. And if there ever comes a time when religion is 'too weak to resist,' why would you hit a minority - religious believers - with punitive actions when they pose no threat?]

It worked to a pretty big degree. The Russian Church was brought to its knees. The biggest flaw was not constructing a new religion to replace it. Religion is a great brainwashing tool, but it is true that many religious people have their actions checked and modified by their beliefs. Hence a system like the Russian God-Building would encourage positive beliefs even if the majority of people never thought of it.

[Salami: The problem with removing freedom of religion is that it eliminates the protections keeping minority religious groups from being systemically oppressed. Imagine if some fundie turned the repeal on Muslims or Jews, deciding that they aren't worthy of being tolerated anymore and passing laws that keep them from having a good quality of life. Or outlawed sane Christians and only tolerated the most intolerant of views. I don't think anybody here would like that very much, but it could very well be possible if the government doesn't go out of its way to set limits on actions against religions.]

That's why you don't define the action itself as evil. If I shoot a guy trying to a rape a woman, that would be pretty good, obviously different than if I shot the woman and thanked the rapist for cornering her. Persecuting Jews (besides some Jews like the Haredi) or whatever sane Muslims are out there (I know they exist) is therefore different than persecuting religious nuts. Even if the same techniques are being used.

[SpukiKitty: Haredis, Barabbans, Wahabbis, Hindutva, Saffrons....They're ALL THE SAME....Evil authoritarian jerks who use religion as a tool of Fascist control rather than a path of spiritual growth and humanitarian love. Screw them and send them to Inferno for a long (but finite) period of Pineapple-Butt purgatorial punishment purification!

The folks who want to ban religion/spiritual faith completely (like NeoMatrix) are just as stupid. Are you willing to ban my egalitarian, pro-freedom, pro-gender-equality, pro-LGBTAQ, pro-democracy, pro-sexuality NeoPaganism, too?

Look! Spiritual faith HELPS many people cope with life. It has helped me! You may say "It's a crutch" but I say, "Some people NEED crutches. Crutches are not evil!"

I believe that life continues after death. I see that as absolute truth! The spiritual is REAL & PLAUSIBLE to ME!

I respect an Atheist's right NOT to believe! I am all for an Atheist's right to be fully welcomed and respected in society! I feel that when Religion & Government mix, BOTH become perverted into something horrible! Religion is only bad when it gets Frummy and is combined with Government. Keep it out of Government and reject the Frums and Faith is great.

Anti-Theists, while well-meaning, are misguided and they're just as irritating as the Religious nuts! They're Frums on behalf of Atheism. Should they take over the government they would be just as bad as the Religionists!
]

Ugh, American progressivism. Trump only exists because they spend all their time race baiting and engaging in identity politics instead of focusing on the issues.

The idea is phase religion out sooner or later--let it rot. But there are ideas for those who need religion as a crutch--Cult of Reason, God-Building, other such ideas. I've praised the Soviet anti-religious campaign before (the Russian church had spent centuries asking for it), but Lenin's emphasis on atheism (in opposition to worship of man) was pretty stupid, and they should've taken the church infrastructure and turned it to the worship of humanity. I'm not an atheist nor an anti-theist (I can't hate something that doesn't exist)--if there was position I would be, it would be the worship of humanity's possibility. But I suppose I have a bit of crusader spirit and am willing to unleash it on the injust in the best way I can--through words.

[Hasan Prishtina: Constitution of the People's Socialist Republic of Albania 1976, Article 55 banned religious freedom, just as Time to Turn wants. Ask the Albanian people how that legislated haters away and everything was peace and light thereafter. Ask them also why they got rid of this article the moment they could and why they hate authoritarian socialists.]

Now a few generations under that, what might happen? Seems like an interesting possibility. Lots of good ol' Abrahamic religions in Albania...

Wayne Allyn Root, a Donald Trump admirer who often claims to be in frequent contact with the GOP candidate has led campaign rallies for him in Nevada, said yesterday that people who receive federal benefits such as Medicaid, welfare and food stamps should lose their right to vote, as should women who use “free contraception” under the Affordable Care Act.

Root’s plan would cut a large swath of Americans from the voter rolls: Roughly one in five Americans benefit from means-tested benefit programs, while 67 percent of women with private health insurance use copay-free contraception through the Affordable Care Act (which, by the way, is paid for by insurance companies, not by the federal government).

Root told Virginia radio host Rob Schilling yesterday that much of the energy behind Trump’s campaign, as he discusses in his new book “Angry White Male,” is that the country is “evenly divided between the makers and the takers,” so “the middle class is basically paying, paying, paying and the poor get everything free, and it’s a disaster.”

Root said that he had recently seen a map on the internet showing that if only “taxpayers” had been allowed to vote, the 2012 election would have been “a Republican sweep.”

“So if the people who payed the taxes were the only ones allowed to vote, we’d have landslide victories,” he said, “but you’re allowing people to vote. This explains everything! People with conflict of interest shouldn’t be allowed to vote. If you collect welfare, you have no right to vote. The day you get off welfare, you get your voting rights back. The reality is, why are you allowed to have this conflict of interest that you vote for the politician who wants to keep your welfare checks coming and your food stamps and your aid to dependent children and your free health care and your Medicaid, your Medicare and your Social Security and everything else?”

Root quickly amended his statement to say that receiving Social Security and Medicare shouldn’t disqualify someone from voting, but “in general most of the things I just rattled off should preclude you from voting.”

“Social Security should not, Medicare should not, because you paid into the system,” he said. “But all the other stuff, all the other goodies, free Obama phones, free contraception, you know what, you can get them but you shouldn’t be allowed to vote, it’s a conflict of interest. Take that away, we’d win every single election in this country.”

On Monday (Aug 1, 2016), commission chairman Carrol Mitchem, who had previously announced he wouldn’t “bow to minorities” and that he “ain’t gonna have no new religion or pray to Allah” at board meetings, held true to his word and walked out on the first person to address the North Carolina government meeting with a Muslim prayer, the Lincoln Times-News reports.

The issue of prayer at the meetings had generated months of controversy, the station reported. The issue came up after nearby Rowan County was ordered by a federal judge to stop opening public meetings with sectarian prayer because it violated the Constitution.

Previously, Mitchem had vowed to keep Christian-only prayers at the meetings.

“I don’t believe we need to be bowing to the minorities,” Mitchem had told WBTV. “The U.S. and the Constitution were founded on Christianity. This is what the majority of people believe in, and it’s what I’m standing up for.”

“I don’t need no Arab or Muslim or whoever telling me what to do or us here in the county what to do about praying. If they don’t like it, stay the hell away,” Mitchem had responded. “We’re fighting Muslims every day. I’m not saying they’re all bad. They believe in a different God than I do. If that’s what they want to do, that’s fine. But, they don’t need to be telling us, as Christians, what we need to be doing. They don’t need to be rubbing our faces in it.”

By the end of the meeting, all prayer was banned at board meetings and will be replaced with a moment of silence. Commissioner Alex Patton initiated the motion which was easily voted into effect.

Quote# 121635

In the Old Testament of the Bible, the number one sin Israel kept committing was turning away from God after the demon gods of the other folks around them. One of those who was particularly singled out by God as a most hated was the worship of Baal-Molech.

Part of worshiping Molech involved wild sexual orgies that inevitably led to a large number of unwanted pregnancies. Every year the worshipers of Molech would take the children born from the prior year's sexual activities, and offer these babies as human sacrifices in order to incur the blessings, favor and conveniences offered by their god (see image below).

Sound familiar? Molech is still worshiped by many people today. Instead of doing it publicly, people take a private trip to see Molech's priests. They see these priests in places called abortion clinics. And they offer the child created from their sexual acts as an offering to the same demon, in the hopes of having a more prosperous life... without the baby of course. We simply call this modern day ritual an abortion.

It's not about making a choice: it's about a CHILD! It's not just another form of contraception or birth control: it's RITUAL CHILD SACRIFICE!

This applies to both men and women equally by the way. After all: women aren't out there having abortions all alone. Most of the time there's a guy dropping her off and picking her up from the abortion clinic. Fellas, when you encourage a woman to sacrifice the baby you've created together, in the name of convenience, you enter into her sins right along with her. And both of you invite the wrath and judgment of God into your lives.

Do you not know that God will JUDGE those who commit abortion? And let's not mince words here: if you've ever seen a sonogram before or listened to a baby's heartbeat on the monitor, you know that's not some insignificant blob or meaningless tissue. That's a living human baby. And it's a terrible and horrendous thing to kill that baby.

You can also miss me with all those outlandish hypotheticals like: 'What if the woman was raped or she's about to die and only an abortion can save her'? Less than 1% of all abortions have anything to do with saving the mother's life: and over 94% are done primarily due to the convenience of having the option to do so.

Let's not kid ourselves: we all know that the overwhelming majority of abortions happen because those women involved don't want the responsibility that comes from their illicit sexual sins. Fornication breeds unwanted pregnancies. Unwanted pregnancies lead to abortions. And abortion in the eyes of God is pure MURDER. Now do you see why fornication is such a terrible sin? It leads to bigger and even greater sins. Not to mention the shame it leaves many women stuck with after the fact.

Over 20 million black babies alone have been aborted since Roe vs Wade was overturned in the United States. 20 million! Let that number sink in deep. Because those are the voices of the millions of babies that cried out to the Lord God Almighty as their mothers and fathers had them violently disposed of: for the sake of convenience.

This ritual goes on every day as people carelessly toss His Word to the side and attempt to cover up their sins, ending in a trip to the abortion clinic.

And it ticks Him off beyond our ability to comprehend.

If you've ever participated in an abortion in any way, there is deep forgiveness available in Jesus Christ. But you have to repent. Not just for the abortion itself: but also for the activities and sinful lifestyle that led up to the abortion in the first place.

You can't make excuses for why you did it. If you do, that's not called repentance: that's called being proud. God resists the proud and gives grace to the meek. *James 4:6

Abortion is the type of sin one should definitely be meek about, and honestly seek God's forgiveness and soul cleansing power.

No more excuses! Get it right with God today, before God's judgment finds you first. And trust me: it's coming! Be not deceived, God is not mocked. Whatever a person sows, that's what they shall reap. It's time to remove this shameful sin from among us once and for all, and seek God with all of our hearts for grace and divine mercy.

This is a hard article and a difficult topic to discuss. Strong feelings, whether pro or against abortion always get stirred, based on one's political leanings. But we must put aside our political indoctrination and see this from God's perspective. We cannot call ourselves sons and daughters of God with this type of sin still attached to us.

Many of you who are reading this are guilty of having had abortions before - some of you have had many. And deep in your heart you know it was wrong. Some of you suffer mental and emotional torment, and have even dreamed about the child that you threw away. Abortion hurts God more than we could ever know. But God is awesome and loving beyond compare. He stands ready and willing to forgive us, even of heinous crimes such as infanticide; which is what abortion is. All we have to do is ask Him to, sincerely from our hearts. And go and sin no more. Don't allow Satan to harden your heart today. For God will certainly judge us severely unless we repent.

Over the past few weeks in South Carolina, there have been multiple (confirmed) incidents of demonic-looking clowns trying to lure children into the woods. And now there are sightings in North Carolina (Piedmont Triad, North Carolina and Winston-Salem, North Carolina).

However, these "horror clowns" sightings have been increasing since 2014.

Saints, the Devil, his demons, and the people that worship evil no longer need to hide. They are coming out in full force.

They no longer hide in the shadows, they are in your face with it.

They mock you and your Christianity. Why? Because so many Christians love sinning. And sin is the legal right for the Devil to attack you.

The world laughs at Christians; and calls us idiots. Especially when you do things like claim you are 'Stepping on the Devil's head (in your stiletto heels).'

Sightings of Satanists trying to lure children into the woods will most likely increase.

Just like there have been an increasing number of children going missing since the 70's (And as of 2015, there were 460,699 missing children entries with the NCMEC).

Church now is the time to live right. Or else...

And remember, "Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour." (1 Peter 5:8)

It's time out for all this 'church gospel' about how much money someone is making; time out for mocking and glorying in another Pastor's downfall (or their sicknesses).

It's time to be useful, or else the Devil is going to consume you. Doesn't matter if you 'call' yourself a Christian. All sinners get consumed by the Devil. That's a biblical principle.

Quote# 121633

Dangerous is the view that allows us to consider life as lesser, simply based on age. Fetuses will progress down the natural life stages to become full grown humans, that is without a doubt, and you cannot argue that it is not such. That being said, how can you convince yourself, let alone me, that such a being, that is by definition human, is not human, that is subhuman? This line of thinking leads me to one potential end, and this would be an inevitable one as well. Since I have a highly superior intelligence, as told to me by my school after taking tests, then those with lesser intelligences, are therefore lesser in inherent value as well. Which of course means they are substandard. If I consider them different than me, then those that I do consider the same as me, namely those that have a similarly high intelligence, are having resources taken away from us. As this now becomes an Us Vs Them situation, my rational thinking realizes that we need to limit the resources available to these 'undesirables', perhaps even exterminate them. Now I have come to the logical conclusion that since they are not the same as me, and can't articulate, rationalize, or overall have the same thought processes as me, they should be extinguished. Do you not see how this idea is not inherently dangerous? If we are allowed to classify a human being as inferior and subhuman by one trait that they have, then it will be used in other, unforseeable ways, that are in fact to our detriment. I could give many notable examples of this in history, but I doubt you will be swayed by logic or reasoning.?

Separation of church and state is doggerel from a letter by Jefferson and has no more the force of law than the inane scribblings of a Jew British subject from the 19th century

A prominent anti-vaxxer physician could lose his medical license after recommending a 2-year-old patient skip immunizations.

The Medical Board of California accused Dr. Bob Sears, a Capistrano Beach pediatrician, of “gross negligence” after writing a letter in 2014 excusing the toddler from future vaccinations after the child’s mother complained about an adverse reaction to immunizations, reported the OC Register.

Report Advertisement
State officials said Sears, who is nationally known as “Dr. Bob” to his followers, failed to obtain a detailed medical history and other evidence about the boy’s prior reactions to vaccinations before making his recommendation.

The boy’s mother said his bowels and bladder “shut down” for 24 hours after he received vaccination shots at 2 months old, and she claimed he was limp for the same period after his 3-month shots and acted abnormally for a week.

Sears also failed to keep his letter excusing the boy from future vaccinations with his other medical records, the board found.

The doctor’s recommendation put the child and anyone he met in the future at risk of preventable and communicable disease, the board found.

If he’s found negligent by the medical board, Sears could be publicly reprimanded or even lost his license to practice medicine.

Sears is the best-selling author of “The Vaccine Book,” which outlines an alternative immunization schedule to what’s recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

He’s an outspoken critic of California’s new law that forbids parents from opting out of vaccine requirements for public school unless they obtain a medical waiver from a physician.

Sears said skipping vaccinations is bad for public health, but he advises parents that doing so is probably safe enough for individual children.

An Ohio judge sentenced a “delusional” former youth pastor to 10 years in prison for sexually abusing a teenage member of the church where he served as a volunteer.

Brian Mitchell pleaded guilty Thursday to four counts of sexual battery, and a Cuyahoga County judge rejected his attorney’s recommendation for house arrest but did not impose the maximum 20-year prison term, reported the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Report Advertisement
The 31-year-old Mitchell, a father of three children under age 8, began sending text messages to the victim, then 16 years old, that quickly turned to complaints about his marriage.

The girl, who told the judge in a letter that she had sought spiritual guidance from Mitchell, said she was afraid to ask the volunteer to stop sending the texts because he was a respected and powerful member of Columbia Road Baptist Church in North Olmsted.

Church leaders heard from a congregant about the texts, which stopped for awhile, but Mitchell eventually resumed his messages and then kissed her after driving the girl home in August 2015.

The next time he drove her home, she said, he began sexually abusing her, and the abuse continued for another month.

“I did not give him permission,” the girl told the court in her letter. “I clearly said ‘no, didn’t want to.’ I felt like he tricked me.”

The girl became lost interest in school, sports and work, and she was too depressed to get out of bed.

She told the court she still suffered from nightmares and other symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder.

Church leaders spoke to Mitchell the day after learning of the sex abuse in November and then reported the case to police.

The girl’s mother testified during the sentencing hearing that church leaders also told the family not to come back to church until her daughter had apologized to Mitchell’s wife.

The family stopped going to the church, and Mitchell’s attorney said he had not heard that until the hearing.

The defense attorney, Ian Friedman, said Mitchell had been caught up in “an adrenaline- and lust-filled situation” after whirlwind of secret text and social media messages, but the judge sternly lectured the former church volunteer.

“Your delusional excuse — that there were emotions and love involved — is troubling,” said Judge Patrick Corrigan. “That’s extremely delusional.”

We were so excited! My wife Deborah and I were going to hear my Bible college Greek professor preach on the Resurrection at a local church. He said Mark 16 would be his only text. I was sure of what he would say. But I was so wrong.

Instead, this text critic told us about some “very significant omissions” in “the oldest manuscript,” Codex Sinaiticus. He claimed that, originally, Mark 16 only had 8 verses. He guessed that the last 12 verses were added later, because someone simply misunderstood the abrupt ending to the Gospel.

In verse 8, the King James and most Bibles say the women left the tomb afraid —which seems a strange way to end the Gospel. But he claimed “afraid” could also mean “in awe.” So the women left the tomb “in awe” —end of story. He wouldn’t read verses 9-20, because, they weren’t in the “oldest and best” Greek Codices (big books) Sinaiticus or Vaticanus. So Jesus never appeared to anyone, nor even rose from the dead, according to this “text critic’s” gospel of Mark.

My wife Deborah and I left that church on Resurrection Day —with no bodily resurrection!

Our professor taught, like most text critics, that Mark was the first Gospel written. But all history shows the order as Matthew, Mark, Luke, John. Then text critics say that Mark was written by someone else, after Mark died. So none of the Gospels or New Testament books were written by eyewitnesses. But the books themselves say they are (Acts 4:20; 2 Cor. 15:4-8; 2 Peter 1:16-18; 1 John 1:1-4).

If you trust text critics, the original gospel had no bodily resurrection! That’s because their favorite two manuscripts out of 620 —Sinaiticus and Vaticanus— are missing the last 12 verses of Mark. But why trust them? Are they really “oldest and best”? Few text critics have even seen more than a page or two. They just trusted their professors— and doubted the consistent witness of history.

But things are changing. Now we can see high-quality photos of Vaticanus and Sinaiticus online. And we can ask the simple questions people should have asked over 150 years ago. Why would critics disregard the evidence of 5,700 other manuscripts? What made these two so good and reliable?

Since December 2015 I have asked basic questions. They are revealing startling answers. You can see them yourself at youtube.com/c/chicktracts or chick.com/bible. Look for the playlist called “Something Funny About Sinaiticus.”

History proves that Satan couldn’t destroy the Bible. So he decided to use scholars who claim they can “fix” the Bible. And they do it with manuscripts that have no history. They just magically appeared: Vaticanus in 1475; and Sinaiticus in 1844. Suddenly everyone was supposed to change the Bible to match them. And they don’t even agree with each other in thousands of places!

To this day, no one has even done chemical tests to figure out the age and makeup of the parchment and ink of Sinaiticus. They’ve exposed other counterfeits that way. But they refuse to check Sinaiticus.

We already have a trustworthy Bible. The Hebrew Old Testament was passed down through the tribe of Levi, carefully copied. Later synagogues followed those practices. Then from the 500s to 1000 AD, the Masoretes continued carefully copying. The Masoretic Old Testament Text is reliable.

The New Testament was passed down in Greek by faithful believers. They continued to be carefully copied, despite persecution, exile and death. Though handwritten, they are amazingly consistent. When published, the result was the Protestant Reformation which produced the King James Bible, God’s preserved words, carefully and accurately translated into classic, enduring English. You can rely on every word of it, including Mark 16:9-20.

Is there a Death-bed Window into Eternity?

There have always been stories of death-bed agony or ecstasy in the last moments of life. So, when the tract, Kitty in the Window, portrayed a gruesome death scene of a face frozen in horror, one soul winner wrote to Chick Publications with her own story.
She was a pastor’s wife and told how a mother and children received Christ and began attending their church. The husband was violently opposed to the gospel and ordered the pastor off his property. Eventually he prevented his family from attending church.

Later, the family called the pastor to come visit the man who was seriously ill in the hospital, hoping his heart might have been softened. But it wasn’t! He again ordered the pastor away.

As it appeared that the man would surely die, the pastor’s wife called the family to see if she might be more accepted by the man. They agreed to try. She relates what happened:

“The family said yes since he was so sick and probably wouldn’t be mean to me. But when I got there —I watched him die. It was the most awful and frightening thing I had ever seen. He sat up in the bed with his eyes wide open and mouth gaping. His arms flung in the air and he said, “Help me!” The machines then began to buzz, nurses came, and his family was screaming together, ‘He went to hell! Oh, God, he went to hell.’ The nurses closed the man’s eyes and put his hands down to a normal position. As long as I live I will never forget that death.”

Someone has reasoned that modern medicine has changed this so that we rarely see this today. Most people die in hospitals where they are carefully monitored and given sedatives in the last hours, dulling the senses and “allowing a peaceful death.”

But this may be denying us strong evidence of the reality of the hereafter. One Chick Publications staff member, who grew up in Mexico, said that such portrayals of distress, or bliss if they are believers, are common where she lived.

One research file obtained on the internet listed hundreds of deathbed stories, posted at http://www.cuttingedge.org/shaw/. The book is old but the experiences are timeless and descriptions highly detailed. Some are even of famous “infidels.”

Other accounts are of famous believers who displayed great joy at being welcomed by angels or deceased family members.

Part of our witness as believers is to remind people of the long view. Life does not stop at the grave as evolutionist and humanists would have us believe. Satan’s answer to these death-bed experiences is hallucinations of the expiring mind, but man cannot escape the spirit within that whispers otherwise.

And when we hand someone a gospel tract that speaks to that vacuum in the soul, some will respond to Christ’s gift. Unfortunately, we have no way of knowing who will respond and who will reject the message. That’s the reason Jesus used the parable of the sower to show the need to spread the gospel seed widely.

Over the centuries, gospel tracts have played a major part in preparing people for revival. Never has there been a more desperate need for revival, than now. More and more missionaries are discovering that if they saturate a community with Chick tracts, they often get sufficient response to start a congregation. One missionary couple has started four churches this way.

Chick Publications has thousands of testimonies on file witnessing to the power of gospel tracts containing the word of God delivered inside an engaging story.

We will all die.

One little tract can be used by the Holy Spirit to turn agony into bliss at that time.

btw idc what you think about the DPRK, but if it weren’t for their nuclear program the US would have launched another genocidal war by now or would be soon, and such a war with the DPRK would be an absolute bloodbath, with the counterinsurgency potentially making Iraq’s look tiny

like the DPRK is much better prepared for a US invasion than Iraq was and they have been for a while, that ‘hehe their stuff all from the 50s ;P’ bullshit would be proven wrong pretty goddamn quickly in such a scenario lmao (they have a very decent level of modernization and a very large focus on coastal and aerial defense, defensive focus is much greater than offensive)

oh and pleaase cut out that ‘their defiance of sanctions is only hurting their own people uwu’ bullshit, the west would be doing the same shit regardless of their missile tests and so on because their entire strategy surrounding such states is to basically deprive the people of resources in an attempt to try and drive them to revolt, so they can eventually put a compliant government into power
they’ll carry out those sanctions regardless of what the DPRK or any other targeted states do

Students protesting concealed carry at the University of Texas Austin say that they feel targeted after a filmmaker produced a video that showed the violent murder of someone who looked like one of the activists.

Ana Lopez told Texas Standard that she helped organize the “Cocks Not Glocks” protest, which distributed dildos to make a point about gun violence.

Following the protest, Lopez said that one video response created by Brett Sanders made her fear for her personal safety.

In the video, a woman who Lopez said was meant to look like her is seen in her apartment with a sign from the gun safety group Moms Demand Action. The video includes news footage that shows the names and faces of real-life protesters.

During the video, a black man with his face covered by a bandana breaks into the student’s apartment. The student picks up a large dildo and points it at the man, who shoots the woman in the head, splattering blood against the wall. After calling the dead woman a “bitch,” the black man steals a television and flees.

“I started seeing images of my friends and colleagues and … footage from news coverage of this event,” Lopez recalled. “I didn’t want to watch the whole thing so I fast-forwarded it, and I saw the girl who looks like me getting shot in the head … It was terrifying.”

Lopez noted that the actress who was murdered in the film had the same hairstyle and “was wearing the same shirt that I wore for the protest.”

Sanders, who is described as an anarcho-libertarian and is best known for paying a $220 parking ticket with pennies, said the film was a “direct rebuttal to the lunacy that I saw happening down there in Austin.”

“I thought it was a very dangerous idea to do that – to announce to the world that you are unarmed, and you are going to be an easy target and an easy victim to some of the crazy criminals out there,” he explained. “It was just meant to be a girl that was part of their protest.”

Sanders also defended the use of a black man as the murderer.

“He just happened to be in my friend circle – and statistically, African-Americans are more prone to create violent crimes,” Sanders opined. “It does play into the stereotype, whether we like it or not. He was willing to play the part.”

A pro-gun activist with the group Students for Concealed Carry told The Dallas Morning News that Sanders’ video was “reprehensible.”

(Cishet means straight, Ace means Asexual)

I already said this once but: Saying a cishet ace is lgbt is like saying a tomato is a fruit. Yes, you can eat it but that doesn’t make it a fruit!!

(are you aware that tomato is a fucking fruit)

You wouldn’t put a tomato in a fruit salad or a smoothie, though, because the tomato’s flavor would oppress the other flavors! Tomatoes have vegetable-passing privilege!!

[On a SpaceX rocket blowing up]

I don't live far from Cape Canaveral but I didn't hear any boom from the explosion this morning. This was a Facebook satellite that got destroyed. I know Facebook can be used to spread the glory of God, but it can also be used as a tool by satan. It wouldn't surprise me if this was divine intervention for this rocket to blow up.
