Quote# 131207

Christian radio host Janet Mefferd lamented the fact that a California state bill aimed at criminalizing discrimination against LGBTQ seniors living in long-term living facilities did not include a religious exemption for Christians, who “are not to bear false witness” by using a transgender person’s preferred pronouns.

On yesterday’s episode of Janet Mefferd Live, Mefferd discussed an article published by The Daily Signal that claimed that the California bill violated the First Amendment rights of doctors and staff working with aging LGBTQ patients. Mefferd also claimed that the bill was offensive to Christians.

“When you consider that we are not to bear false witness as Christians, we cannot call people by the opposite pronoun that they really are,” Mefferd said. “We can’t. It’s lying. It’s engaging in a fiction that is dishonest, and the government cannot compel you to lie.”

“The fact that they will make no religious exemptions shows the fury with which they view us,” Mefferd continued. “And that’s really not an overstatement, by the way.”

Quote# 131206

If you want to fight Trumpism and the alt-right, work for social cohesion. Trump tapped into Americans' yearning for social cohesion, the functional communities so many older people remember.

Multiculturalism destroys community cohesion. Real people feel the real loss of social support. By all measures, American communities are not supporting their members as they once did.

Maybe we need to spend some time thinking about what we are protesting about, not just the protest methods. As a lifelong feminist, I did not participate in the Women's March. I read the manifesto, and it was a women-led march for multiculturalism. The concerns of older white women were not mentioned -- imagine a manifesto that does not mention preserving Social Security and Medicare for older American women!

Since I'm a feminist, not a multiculturalist, I did not march. I don't respect cultures that don't respect women.

I don't know the answers for how people fight for their rights while not destroying the community they want to be a full part of. All I can say these days is that I feel politically homeless. Pushed away from the left, but certainly not a member of the right.

Quote# 131204

Your mistaken assumption is that politics matters. It doesn’t. Politics is a lagging indicator of the state of a society. Muslim societies are currently corrupt and this corruption is what allowed women’s suffrage.

What matters is religion. By the time the West gave women the vote, its core religion, Protestantism, was already dead. So the West was already doomed and politics was just part of the process of the demise of the West. Islam today is similar to medieval Christianity which was a weak but sustainable religion. And more importantly, Islam has the potential for a Reformation.

You have to visit a mosque to fully appreciate how different Islam is from modern Western culture. This can’t be seen in politics. To me it is clear that Islam is the only viable option, and I fully support my local mosque. And I couldn’t care less about politics.

Quote# 131196

Amos Moses:
there is much "science" that is false .... not everything labeled as science is science ......... and just because a scientist says something does not make it science ................ and YES much of science YOU ACCEPT is FAITH .... because the truth is .... you have never confirmed any of what you have read as science ..... you JUST ACCEPT as a matter of FAITH that it is true .......... and you express that FAITH more than any christian .... what is faulty is what you put YOUR FAITH in .......... other men .........
FYI ..... God CREATED science .... and if science does not comport to His truth .... then it is a lie and false science ............

Bruce Wang:
No, God didn't create science. Of course your faith teaches you that but what nonsense. Science is science, it has no need of deities, real or imagined.
And when science IS wrong - which it is GLAD to be, since it just gets supplanted with better data and methodology - it is science itself that proves it so. Not religion.
There is nothing about my belief in science that is faith. Faith is something I don't have, nor would I ever turn to it for anything. When something is proven to be true with tests and so forth, then I believe it.

Amos Moses:
"Of course your faith teaches you that but what nonsense. Science is science, it has no need of deities, real or imagined."
you would not have any science without God who created a stable universe for it to be used in ....... without a stable universe there is not consistent results that could be obtained for any science .......... science is ONLY methodology .... it is neither right or wrong nor does it have any means of determining those things ........... so your statements are in error ..... and all you have about science is FAITH ............

Bruce Wang:
Science des not require God. Simply ask one of the millions of atheist scientists. Science is far more than methodology, we have cures to diseases because of science that God never gave us. We did that with science.

Amos Moses:
science does not exist outside of God .......... and God gave us science to do what you claim He did not ......... "atheist scientists" .... oxymoron and contradiction in terms ...........

Bruce Wang:
I assure you atheist scientists exist, and can effortlessly provide you with many examples.

Amos Moses:
yeah ... but still an oxymoron and a contradiction in terms ... there is no science, true science, outside of God .... and to exclude God from the evidence is only ERROR .... now they might STUMBLE into the correct science from time to time .... but their results are suspect as they exclude part of the evidence .... excluding evidence leads to error ..... and that evidence they exclude is God ......

Bruce Wang:
It isn't an oxymoron. "Jumbo shrimp" is an oxymoron. "Same difference" is an oxymoron. But a scientist who doesn't believe in a God makes complete sense. And they aren't ANGRY at God either, as people like you often claim. They just don't think there is a God there, they have several other ways to propose the nature of the world.

Amos Moses:
nope .... a "scientist" who ignores the EVIDENCE .... is NOT a scientist ..... and an "A-theist scientist" IGNORES THE EVIDENCE of God ...... and his observations are in error ..... and because he IGNORES THE EVIDENCE ...... he is NOT A SCIENTIST ....... and that does NOT make any sense to call him what he is not ............

Quote# 131199

I will answer this from an Old Testament perspective which quite far from modern Christianity. The plagues of Egypt in the book of Exodus were simply terrorism. Depending on whether or not you read it literally, this was terrorism by God or by Moses in the name of God. Either way, terrorism is clearly endorsed, as I believe it should be when it is the most effective tool against an evil empire.
Today modern Western culture is pure evil, as evil as any culture cursed by God in the Old Testament. It deserves to be completely wiped out. Terrorism against the West would be justified if it was effective. My main criticism against modern terrorism is that it really isn't effective unless it is associated with clear obtainable goals, and that isn't the case with the terrorism we see today. I don't care about about those who die since they are members of an evil culture. I just think the terrorism is pointless and the energy would be better spent building up positive religious movements.

(Grandiose trolling of German Neonazi at press conference)

Uwe Faust: "My name is Uwe Faust from the party The Party (Translator's note: founded by a satirical magazine). I'd like to ask Mister Best a question. Mister Best, according to Federal Building Code, Section 126, every owner is obliged to label his parcel with the number assigned by the municipality, Now, I've noticed, shockingly, that many house numbers in Völklingen are marked in Arabic numerals.

What would you like to do against this creeping foreign domination?"

(audience roars with laughter)

NPD (Nazi) Mayorship candidate Otfried Best: "Just wait until I am Lord Mayor, Mister Faust! I will change that. Well, we'll put normal numerals in place!"

@Original German:

Those who have been impacted by Hurricane Harvey in Texas and Louisiana are only beginning to see the way the flood waters have destroyed their homes. Many families tried to ride it out, only to be rescued when the rising waters forced them onto their roof. Thousands escaped with only their lives and the clothes on their backs, losing everything they own.

But according to Secretary of State Rolando Pablos (R-TX), they don’t need any help. As Patheos reported, they just need a little more Jesus.

Quebec’s Minister of International Relations Christine St-Pierre called Pablos to express her sorrow and condolences on behalf of the people of the Canadian province. She also offered equipment and manpower.

Pablos turned it down. Instead he asked for “prayers from the people of Quebec,” the minister relayed.

Understandably, the neighbor to the north was shocked.

“It was a conversation about how devastating the situation is and we want to express our support to the people of Texas,” she told CBC News in an interview.

Quote# 131190

What even is this idea of multiculturalism that is permeating the culture of the West in these recent times? It is everywhere we look. All the countries of the West are subjected to this insidious idea that their existing cultures and traditions are somehow lacking and boring. There is this arrogant idea that Western countries need to be multicultural.

Accepting.

Tolerant.

And worse of all…

Diverse.

No True Scotsman Award

Quote# 131189

Fox News host Eric Bolling’s monologue Thursday on “The Specialists” advised his fellow “deplorables” to ignore the polls showing that President Donald Trump’s favorability is falling, and instead, look to the crowds at his rallies.

“If you listen to the media,” he said, “all they seem to want to do is repeatedly cry ‘Russia Russia Russia.’ They even claim Trump’s approval rating is tanking because of Russia.”

“But something isn’t adding up again,” Bolling added.

“Take a look at scenes from President Trump Wednesday night in Ohio,” he continued. “Just look at those crowds. Listen to them for a a second. I’m gonna double down on a call I made over a year ago.

“Watch the people, not the polls,” he said.

“This president is popular with the people, not the New York crowd or the L.A. crowd, and certainly not the mainstream media, maybe not some people on this set,” he said, referring to his co-hosts and guests, “but real people. Middle American people. People who care about their families’ bottom lines, their wages, and whether or not they can buy their kids back-to-school supplies and maybe a new outfit for the first day of class.

“That’s what matters to America, the real America,” he said. “They really don’t give a damn about Russia, period.”

Bolling went on to criticize an editorial by The Washington Post, decrying Trump’s address to the Boy Scouts of America.

“Seriously, WashPo? Now you have a problem with the Boy Scouts?” he said.

“Ya just don’t get it,” he mocked, “media and liberals. America loves a president who addresses the Boy Scouts. And to my fellow deplorables, stop listening to the fake news media, the propaganda news media, watch the people, not the polls.

“Trust me, you’ll get called names, you’ll get ridiculed, you’ll be made fun of, and in the end you’ll be right — and the emphasis is on right.”

A recent Reuters poll found that Trump’s favorability had fallen to 35 percent of Americans, a historically low level for a new president.

The problem with your position is that we all live together in one country. When this abomination was legalized, it in effect made the practice of the Christian faith persecutable. I can no longer in good conscience avoid endorsing homosexuality and keep my job.

Whether I rent halls, sell billboard ads, design wedding dresses, do photography, bake custom cakes, make t-shirts. . . you name it. I have to endorse homosexual behavior or I am out of work, fined, and I suppose if I don’t pay the fine I am in prison.

"Well, I'll tell you what. I'm going to predict that if it [President Trump's impeachment] happens...there's going to be a civil war in the United States of America. That Christians will finally come out of the shadows...because we are going to be shut up--permanently--if we're not careful. God says faith without works is dead. We have to do things, God has been standing with me, and I don't know about you, it's time for preachers like you [Bakker's guest], you've been doing it, to stand up and shout out!"

Breischeidplatz: Islam gets scrapped as the reason for the murder

Even if the memorials aren't official, were changing and if it were always other people who brought something to it, the procedure here is a symbol for the behavior of this clearly disturbed societal majority on the subject of Islam and its followers. Disguise, conceal, repress - so that we can live better, so that we don't get suspect of being a "Nazi".

The deaths? For them candles get lit, half-hearted monuments get erected, so that we can feel ourselves better and if we don't announce the reason for the act, we're also on the secure side.

Islam is a bloodthirsty monster, its followers and grueling murderers willing tools. The cowards and the better humans of our society are also guilty, because their behavior makes it easy for this hate and death cult to continue. This is why some AfD politicians and almost everyone, who isn't very left-wing, but rather often can only be recognised as a conservative, quicker on the ball as to what is the true reason for these uncountable deaths, persecutions and damages.

The Islam is the root of all this evil and everyone who doesn't only not oppose it, but also defends this murder ideology isn't any better. They wash their hands in the blood that the Islam shed and even say that it's sublime. They stretch when the Muslims are doing it over others and shame with it the memory of the deaths caused by Islam.
