That all sounds well and good. But what incentive do 2nd and 3rd worlders have to reduce birthing rates when they can outbreed the first worlders and take over by sheer numbers and exploitation of the former judeo-christian rooted moral compass of first world nations?

Statistically speaking you're right. Despite homosexuals accounting for a very small percentage of the population they are responsible for nearly all child rapes. Basic math says that all homosexuals would have to be child molesters to account for the number of rapes and molestations they commit.

It's well known that homosexuals disproportionately molest children. Although I can't be bothered to look up the exact stats boys are sexually abused at a similar rate as girls despite homosexual men only being around 1.5% of the population at most. However, I believe that all child molesters are homosexual, even the ones that molest girls. Let me explain why.

When a boy enters puberty he goes through mild changes. His voice deepens, his shoulders widen, and he grows denser body hair. The changes in a girl however are drastic!

The most noticeable is the development of breasts, something essential to heterosexual attraction. She develops curves, the hips widen, the thighs thicken. She becomes a woman and looks nothing like the child she was before. These are called "secondary sex characteristics". It's practically a metamorphosis, these changes make the woman completely unlike the child she was before and it's specifically these differences that a straight man are interested in.

A girl's body holds no appeal to straight men; but what kind of man would be interested in someone with a flat chest and no hips or thighs? You guessed it, a homosexual man. Obviously the men that molest boys are homosexual but the men that abuse girls are simply closeted homosexuals that target girls so they can lie to themselves and say they're straight. Despite the fact that a busty and curvy body holds no appeal to them they're too ashamed to admit they're homosexual.

If there are any scientists on this site I would recommend looking into this.

You see why I'm the scientist here and not you lot. Your ok with the nasty snap-back but find it impossible to talk seriously, honestly, and caringly over a topic that has everyone of our best interests at heart.

We have established that a party of people project a hysterical tension...'The air was electric.'

We have established that this is an inner electric property expressed by our nervous tension.

And we have detected that this inner electric property is at the root of many of our illnesses...

The individual living cell is the only force within us that can generate this electric property, in its purest form, because it works using certain electric properties needed to explain its replicating existence.

The ganging up of many people to ridicule and besmirch a valid line of reasoning is reminiscent of the bunching together of rogue cells to form a tumor and this is also a point contained within my research...a knowledge all gathered from the accurate Christian teaching of Jesus Christ and carries the hall-mark of a Biblical expression known as the antiChrist.

Is it okay for children to have sex? Why or why not?

I do not care who, how old, what gender, what ethnicity, what sexuality, or what zodiac sign you are. Anyone may be allowed to have sex with whomever they want to as long as All Individuals involved:
a) Consent to any and all actions they partake in
b) Know what they are doing
c) Understand what they are doing
d) Know the consequences of such actions

Yes, it is possible for children to meet all the above requirements. Yes, it is possible for adults to meet all the above requirements.
Yes, it is possible for children to not meet one, multiple, or all of the above requirements. Yes, it is possible for adults to not meet one, multiple, or all of the above requirements.

I also always suggest(even though it is not required for having okay, consensual sex) the 3C Rule. It will lead to a fun, comfortable, and free time.
Cleanliness, Consent, Compassion
Cleanliness- know and understand consequences of STIs, STDs, etc…; Understand and know about contraceptives and protection and how to use them!
Consent-Do not rape anyone. Also, keep within the comfort zones of participating parties.
Compassion- It would really help if all individuals actually wanted to be partaking in the sexual activities. They may consent…but are they actually into it? wanting it?

What do you think about a 14-year-old girl and a 24-year-old guy having a "thing"?

I've known him literally my whole life. He remembers the day I was born. We never had anything when we were younger though because when he was 18 I was only 8. I use to play games and listen to music all the time with him. I even went to his high school graduation. We just re-connected about 4 months ago. He's in the army and he's also an MMA fighter. He's coming back to our home state next week. And we plan on hanging out.

(Danielle morssison)

Youve known him for a long time. I would say “ follow your heart”

There will be a lot of negativity. No one except you knows how you feel or what you desire BUT everyone and their dog will make it their business to tell you how bad this idea of yours is. Do what you think is right and what works for you. They will also give you their own experiences and stories of how the “young girl” gets taken advantage of and how inappropriate it is for an older guy to be interested in someone as young as you. Well, Well, just tell them that this is how we are wired and that nature knows best what is right and what is wrong. This is instinctive and happens when we hit puberty. You obviously are attracted to this guy. There is a reason for this. You are not exactly throwing yourself at him. You just want to see how things work out between you and him because you have grown up together and you trust your judgement and feelings towards him. Great!! You have had time to think and you want to put that exercise to work. I wish you the best. Please do not let all the negativity distract you. Do not let all this garbage about mental and physical maturity affect you. People will also talk about brain development and readiness for relationships. Well, in that case most people who are married should not have got married. You will know many older girls and guys who are mentally so immature even though they are adults. But, society let them get married because of this artificial age rubbish. Then 50 to 60% of the married population get divorced. Please don’t get dissuaded by those arguments that are brought to you.

My only advice to you would be to make sure not to get into alcohol or drugs and make sure you take precautions against pregnancy and STDs. Make sure he proves to you that he is free from STDs. If that means medical testing the so be it. Dont have sex if he wont get tested. Also, make sure he is honest and you can trust him. He needs to be a gentleman and not get you into any kind of mess.

I have a much older boyfriend and it is fun. I was younger than you when I started and it has been an awesome experience. I am still with him.

[ on a 13 yr old dating a 24 yr old ]

Hey sweetie …

First off, waiting 3 plus years is ridiculous advice.

Second, forget about that west whatever it is effect. That alleged research has been sharply criticized and other real research contradicts it.

Third, the age of consent varies from state to state, and the army can't do a thing if you are abiding by your state law,

Fourth, your brain development isn't what any of these people are concerned about. They just want you to wait until you are married, because God hates fornicators and so do they.

Fifth, if you don't want to wait at all, you can marry him in 28 states. That leaves 22 that you can't marry in, but the odds are in your favor that the state you are in allows it.

The fact that you can marry and have all the sex you want legally either means God will magical mature your brain the instant you are legally married … or as I said above, they really don't give a fuck about your brain development, because in those states a 60 year old man can marry a 6 year old girl and have sex.

Seriously, it's all about pleasing God.

Lastly, my personal opinion is this is just another fake thread.

Christians can't stop pounding their ignorant anti fornication propaganda.

I say this because I can't believe that you wouldn't know how Quorans would react.

Quote# 140069

I am a conservative. I believe everyone in society does best when government takes a light touch. I believe in low taxes, less regulation, the rule of law, national sovereignty, strong borders, individual liberty, personal responsibility, meritocracy, tolerance to people’s differences, and traditional family values.
I am also a transsexual woman. But those on the left regard me as a Judas. And they do so because I don’t fit conveniently into their insatiable and pathological need to stereotype everyone. To them, the very notion that a trans woman – because we are “different” and a “minority group” – could be anything other than a Mao-quoting, Che-Guevara-T-shirt-wearing, red-flag-waving socialist is sacrilegious. They call me a traitor. A house tranny. Or, more crudely, a fascist.

And so, coming out as a conservative was an entirely more tumultuous affair for me than coming out as trans. If only there were a chapter in Dale Carnegie’s seminal “How to Win Friends and Influence People” that offered helpful advice on such matters. Two factors, more than any others, that chiseled and honed my conservative worldview were growing up in a post-communist country and taking personal responsibility for making the best of being born in the wrong body.

My childhood was awash with my family’s forlorn recollections about the hardships they endured under communism in Poland: the chronic scarcity of food, medicine and other basic necessities; outright hostility to basic liberties. And if we didn’t like it, too bad: they killed anyone who tried to leave. But throughout Poland’s 44-year communist ordeal, my family stood firm: my great-grandfather was imprisoned twice for distributing pro-capitalism pamphlets and for listening to Radio Free Europe. This instilled in me a powerful respect for the twin virtues of free people and free enterprise.

Even in the earliest years of my childhood, I knew that I was different. Unlike the boys in the neighbourhood who enjoyed roughhousing and kicking around footballs, I spent my time dreaming of one day having a child of my own to nurture and rear. My family thought it was a phase. But it wasn’t. I had what we now know as gender dysphoria: I was a girl born in the wrong body. And I could no more choose to not be a boy than a gay person could choose to be straight. I desperately wished to be normal. But to me, becoming “normal” meant becoming physically female.

My mum and I moved to Denmark when I was nine. By the time I was an adult, the Danish healthcare system provided gender reassignment surgery funded by the taxpayer. But as with all socialised healthcare systems, they rationed access to treatment with interminably long waiting times. I would have had no choice over the surgeon eventually assigned to me or the surgical techniques they would use. Because of my sense of personal responsibility and non-reliance on the state that my family had instilled in me, I felt uncomfortable with the idea that strangers should be forced to pay for my surgery.

So I took matters into my own hands. I found a part-time job while in high school and worked at weekends to earn as much as I could to pay for private surgery. I set myself a savings goal. It required financial sacrifices on my and my mum’s part. But by the time I was 18, I had scrimped and saved enough; after exhaustive research, I chose the surgeon I wanted.

And, then, the day of my surgery arrived. I went into hospital a girl trapped in a male body. I emerged a woman, liberated. I felt resounding joy at finally being made whole. But I also felt immense pride that I had accomplished it by myself. Not just a woman. A self-made woman.

So, whenever I hear self-entitled, Labour-voting millennials shouting “we deserve this”, “you owe us”, “tax the rich”, I can’t help but raise an eyebrow. Because no one deserves anything simply by virtue of being alive. If I could accomplish what I did without reliance on the state, then everybody else is perfectly capable of funding and achieving their life goals too.

One thing that particularly whips up the frothy and indignant ire of some of those on the left is my view that members of the LGBT community are not well-served by any form of special treatment or protection, such as quotas or anti-discrimination and hate-speech legislation. Frankly, such measures are patronising and insulting. No thanks. None of that for me.

I want to succeed – and take pride in my success – because I work hard and exercise good judgment. Not because of a law that requires organisations to hire and promote a certain number of LGBT people, irrespective of merit. If an organisation doesn’t want to associate with me because I’m a transgender woman, well that’s their loss and not mine. I’d much rather focus my energy on working with companies and groups who value me for what I can do and not for who I am. But forcing them by law to associate with me is only going to make them resent trans people, not embrace us. Government can lead by example. But it can’t legislate intolerance away.

Similarly, hate speech laws have the pernicious effect of making others constantly walk on eggshells around trans people, lest they inadvertently say something that could be construed as “offensive”. This makes me – and other trans people in the workplace – a potentially hazardous lawsuit waiting to happen. And that discourages the employment of trans people even further. If someone wants to say ugly things to me because of who I am, then I have every opportunity to try to disabuse them of their narrow-minded views or simply walk away. No harm, no foul. A law that criminalises what they say because of who I am just makes me out to be a helpless victim. And I am nobody’s helpless victim. All I ask for is the same treatment under the law as everyone else. Nothing more. Nothing less.

The irony, of course, is that whereas the Labour party – and its groovy, self-righteous, champagne socialist acolytes – like to tout themselves as tolerant, inclusive and champions of minority rights, it is actually the Conservative party that has pioneered time and time again in terms of providing equality of opportunity and rewarding merit for all. Universal suffrage, full decriminalisation of homosexual acts over the age of consent, and same-sex marriage were all ushered into law under Conservative governments. The Conservative party has had two female prime ministers, one Jewish-born prime minister, two ethnic minority holders of a great office of state, and two female leaders of the Scottish Conservatives. The Labour party has had none. Ever.

Meanwhile, Jeremy Corbyn’s Labour party seems intent on reminding us again and again through its appalling record on anti-Semitism that it is “For the Many, Not the Jew”. Labour MPs even attend gender-segregated party rallies and meetings. And while the number of black and ethnic minority members of the government and shadow cabinet should be more proportionate to society at large, one cannot help but wonder – given her litany of car crash interviews and her apparent struggle with basic arithmetic – whether the shadow home secretary is in her role because she is fit for purpose or because of her appearance.

Very clearly, when it comes to matters of equality and inclusion, the Conservative party walks the walk, while the Labour party just talks and talks and talks. And so, if I were a betting woman, my money would be firmly on the Conservative party to have the first ever transsexual MP. Or – who knows – perhaps, one day, the UK’s first ever transsexual prime minister.

I have been so discouraged by Harvest Baptist Church on Guam, because I needed them but they didn't need me, and I gave my heart, money and soul away to others at the church in God's love for the year I was there in 2014, and I was excited to share THE TRUTH of the free Gospel of grace (they teach Lordship Salvation) and the Word of God (they use the Satanic Easy-To-Read Version) with everyone I could; consequently, I was called “a cult” (along with Dr. Jack Hyles over the King James Bible debate) and forced out of my HBC church family, abandoned by Harvest and when I tried in loneliness and desperation to go back in 2017, I was cold-heartedly told by the senior and associate pastors to “go elsewhere”!

Well, I have nowhere else to go and don't go to church anymore, but that's on them! I know what loneliness feels like. I know what rejection by my Christian peers feels like! My wife divorced me in 2006 and I have lived along for 12 years. I was hoping to find a Christian wife at Harvest, but they couldn't care less about me, nor what happens to me.

Kindly, there was a man named Ben Fieldhouse who once attended Harvest Baptist Church. He had some marriage problems, which you can read online. Ben was a member of Harvest. When his marriage problems turned legal, he went and commit suicide in 2010. They didn't find his bodily remains until 2 years later in 2012, on the cliffline at Ritidian Point on Guam. My heart goes out to Ben. He was only 49 years old; I am now 51. Ben was 5' 6"; I am 5' 7". Ben was 140 pounds; I am 150 pounds. Ben loved walking; I love walking. Ben was Caucasian; I am Caucasian. I cannot help wonder if Ben felt unloved by Harvest Baptist Church like I do. I mean, he was a member of their church family; but in his darkest hour of life he went and killed himself. Was there not one person at HBC that he could reach out to for help? I guess not, just like me. I'm just a nobody to Harvest's pastors and staff, just a troublemaker, a nuisance, a sinner that should just disappear like Ben.

You know, the ministry is about loving and helping people, not salaries and growing the church. I once heard the senior pastor say they are interested in obeying, not growing. That's sounds good, but if he really meant what he said, then he would care about his hurting Christian brother, and not set me at nought.

Shining-Scribe: I've tried to not argue with you. I've tried to not question your beliefs.
"I myself believe all sinners should be put in jail rather than executed, so that they have a chance to repent. I believe sinners should be put in jail and put to do labor. But, I understand if sometimes circumstances do not allow for such lenience."
I'm sorry, but I can't stay silent on something like this. What do you mean by "all sinners"? My mother divorced her first husband because he was abusive, then lived with my stepfather for eight years before they married. Should my parents have been put behind bars? Should my family have been forced apart because of "sin"? Should my best friend, who's not even a legal adult, be locked up and forced to do labor against her will simply because she's gay?
I'm sorry, but I think this is wrong. Do you really believe people should be imprisoned and enslaved just because they do things your religion doesn't agree with? I don't think that's love. I think that's imposing your will on others.
I don't want to hold any resentment against you. I will still read and enjoy your work. But I believe that, if you really want people to live long happy lives, the idea of punishing them because they aren't like you is extremely contradictory to that.
I hope I said my words in as civilized and polite a manner as possible.

natsumihanaki20: I never meant for them to be enslaved. I meant that criminals instead of lying in prison cells without doing anything, they should do work for the welfare of the population residing in their country. Work is the medicine for the soul, it keeps one from having evil thoughts and ennui. Actually, there's nothing wrong or evil in putting in jail individuals who commit high crimes against humanity and the order of the universe, such as gays, adulterers, murderers, those who commit incest, thieves, zoophiles, and other kind of bad people. Not all sinners should be sent in jail, not because sinning should not be punished, but because some sins cannot be proven and are subjective. For example, one might say that a man who does not give charity to the poor is being greedy, but perhaps he simply believes in rewarding only those who work. One cannot jail a man for lying in his private time, but if he lies at a university or in his job to costumers (in other words fraud); he should be jailed. Justice is righteousness, and punishing the evil is just. If imposing the will of the highest God and justice on people is considered evil, then; jailing those who commit murder is evil. Though, you are free to disagree, and I don't resent you for disagreeing with me. Though, hatred is sinful and evil, I won't hold it against you for hating me. It's understandable. If after reading this you no longer desire to be friends with me, I understand, and I won't recent you for it. Some people are burned by the sun's golden rays, whilst other rejoice in its warmth.

Shining-Scribe: I don't hate you, for it's clear you don't speak with malice. I may not agree with what you're saying, because I still believe being gay isn't a high crime against humanity. That's why I got so defensive, because somebody I deeply care about is gay, and the idea of her being punished for that just doesn't feel right. Mother always taught me that "God" is whatever the mind interprets he/she/it as, and that's how I ultimately view God. I won't deny that work can have positive effects, and honestly you have a good point. People in prison certainly shouldn't be pampered, but we're hitting a wall in terms of who we think should be behind bars. I don't think gays are bad people, and I hope someday you'll realize that too. If you want to pray for me, go right ahead; either way, I said I don't resent you, because I don't want to fall into the same trap I've fallen into before. Too often have I flown off the handle because of someone else's viewpoint. Even if I think yours is a tad extreme, yelling and swearing like I've done before would accomplish nothing.

natsumihanaki20: God is not what the mind fancies since that would mean He's a delusion. God left us writings, sent us prophets, and even sent us Jesus Christ so that we may know Him, so that the truth may be revealed to us there he reveals to us. I don't resent you for having a different viewpoint, or for being agnostic. I resent your beliefs as I see them as evil, but I don't resent you. You are free to disagree, and I won't hold it against your for doing so. I'm extremely blunt, so I may say offensive things without meaning any harm. I'm glad that we could terminate this peacefully, and I thank you for it. I'll pray for you, for the Highest God to show Himself to you, and for Him to preserve you. By the way, I'm sorry for my terrible English. I think I need to read more documents in English, so that I may not lose it.

"A victim should not have to be accountable.'

If a grown woman goes to bar dressed like a ***, tells a man she wants to go back to his place, has a few drinks while kissing on him and then decides she doesn't want to have sex and he FORCES himself on her.... she was raped. She is also guilty of putting herself into a stupid position in the first place. She should take some accountability for that. She is still a victim, but that doesn't excuse her of lack of some part in the event.

If my 13 year old daughter finds herself alone with a 20 year old man I expect her to take a little accountability for not removing herself from the situation as soon as she feels uncomfortable. If at no point she becomes uncomfortable with the sexual nature of the encounter... is she still ONLY a victim?

I hope your nicer to your daughter when she comes home and says she was raped/molested. I really do.

And I really hope that you are little more outraged at your daughter when she sneaks out with her adult boyfriend to go smoke dope and have sex at his apartment.

But in my state, if my mother had found out and wanted him prosecuted, it wouldn't have mattered if I testified that I begged him to sleep with me. He would have been prosecuted, and potentially been put on the registry.

At 14 I may not have been mature enough to be having sex, but I wanted to, and I don't think the guy I slept with should spend the rest of his life being labeled a violent sex offender for having sex with a willing participant."

xactly. Can a 13/14 year old 'technically' consent? I don't think they are truly in the right frame of mind to make a totally educated decision. I know that I have loaded my 13 year old with enough sexual education that she could teach a class on it, but I don't trust her yet to make the decision for herself. I think she needs more time. But if she was to actively engage a man who is 19/20 years old and she convinces him that she does want to have sex than I don't think it makes the man a sexual predator like so many on this list seem to think is an automatic assumption.

I'm telling you that you are wrong. I know from personal experience that young girls can play an active role in encouraging a man to make a poor decision.

"And throwing out the "dressing like ****s" issue. Really?

Have you even been in a junior high recently? I have. Several times. Did you miss the part where I HAVE A 13 YEAR OLD? I have SEEN 12 year old girls wearing black eyeliner and wearing high heel sandals. I have SEEN 13 year old girls wearing mini skirts and having their bras showing under their spaghetti strap tank tops. I have SEEN girls who wear shorts so short that when they bend over their panties are showing. I have SEEN girls who wear rips in their jeans that go from crotch to knee. What the hell is wrong with their parents that they think this is OK? Why is the school not sending them home? I was at the track the other day and I WATCHED as a young boy was fondling a girls breasts UNDER her shirt IN PUBLIC! And you seriously think that these girls aren't wanting at the very least to be seen as sexually mature? You need a stiff dose of reality.

"I hate when women automatically give the offender the benefit of doubt. And instead assume that maybe the girl wanted it and is somehow to be held 50/50 responsible'

And I hate it when people automatically assume that the girl didn't. If they aren't trying to be sexual creatures, why are so many of them dressing like slvts?

Because we have a baby daughter, I had to ask his wife about it. She played it down as if it was a misunderstanding, but basically he raped a 13 year old girl when he was almost 20. I'm sorry but to me, I do not see any misunderstanding, especially because it wasn't deemed statutory, she did NOT consent. Also, he spent a few years in prison. am very uncomfortable with him now, and will never leave our child with them even though they have 2 daughters. I personally feel like we've been lied to this whole friendship (sex offenders are supposed to tell you they are registered and why) and feel that if we didn't find out from the registry, we would have never found out. They just had their second daughter (his wife's first) so our daughters will be within a few weeks of each other in age, but I do not want to leave her there, EVER, which I won't.

(Trewmommy)
I would say if I was already friends with the person and liked hanging out with them then that would not change,
As far as your friend, It could very well be a misunderstanding of some kind. You never know. He was still rather young and she could have been messing with him and either got mad and told her parents or her parents found out. If she was like 8,9,10 or younger then I would be more worried, but at 13 you just never know, esp these days.

(Boots)
Although you say that he was not charged with statutory rape -- that doesn't mean that the sex wasn't actually consensual. The girl was 13. Her parents could have found out that she had sex with your husbands friend and they may have flipped out. She could have lied to avoid the consequences and said that she had no part in it. I'm not saying that's what happened, but situations like that happen all the time. A guy I graduated high school with is in jail right now because he had consensual sex with a 14 year old. He is 26 years old. She didn't claim he raped her, but he is still serving time in jail. IMO it's still disgusting, but it doesn't mean he's a rapist. Excuse me if I missed something and you are 100% positive that he raped the girl.

Ages 20 and 13 aren't nearly as far apart as they sound. I would expect a 20 year old man and a 13 year old girl to both be immature at those ages. Either could have lied about their age, I know several girls who look significantly older then they are. I'm also still young enough (22) to remember what I was like at 13.n gereral. If the girl had been younger perhaps 9 or 10 I would agree with your fears for his children but at the age of 13 the girl is really a teenager and her body would reflect that. So even if he did rape a girl who was 13 doesn't have to mean he would attack children.

(Aditch)

I'm not sure I understand your extreme reaction to his presence around your baby. What is the link between him assaulting a teenager to sexually touching your infant? I get that you are unnerved and you want to put up guardrails on the relationship. You may even feel that it is better to cut ties all together. Completely normal reactions. But I think it is important to weigh your response with all the potentials. No, a 13 year old girl can't consent. But unless you know for sure that she didn't play an active role than you can't really deem him a violent sexual predator. My 13 year old has girls in her class who wear more make up than me and wear daisy dukes with heels. My daughter has told me that she knows a girl who is sexually active with her boyfriend. She also has another friend who is 5'8" and weighs 175 pounds. These are not 'children'. They are full on menstruating budding women.

Is evolution pseudoscience?

The Skeptic’s Dictionary contains an entry on ‘pseudoscience’ that includes ten characteristic fallacies of pseudoscientific theories. The list’s compiler clearly did not have evolution in mind, as the very first group the article identifies as pseudoscientific is ‘creationists’. Ironically, evolution has almost every characteristic on this list. Let’s look at how evolution exhibits the fallacies listed by these self-proclaimed skeptics, with just one example of each.

1. Some pseudoscientific theories are based upon an authoritative text rather than observation or empirical investigation.

In almost every debate about origins, the first argument given by the evolutionists is an appeal to authority. The National Academy of Sciences flatly asserts, ‘While the mechanisms of evolution are still under investigation, scientists universally accept that the cosmos, our planet, and life evolved and continue to evolve.’ [our emphasis]

We are supposed to respect these scientists because science has proven so powerful. But the people who preach evolution didn’t discover gravity or pasteurization or semiconductors. They just call themselves by the same name, ‘scientist’.

2. Some pseudoscientific theories explain what non-believers cannot even observe.

The web site of the US Department of Energy admits that no one has observed evolution happen in nature or the laboratory, but explains, ‘As for the fact that we haven’t made evolving life in the laboratory yet, I think that you’re expecting too much of your species. Let’s say, as a first guess, that it took blind Nature a billion years to make evolving life on earth. … How much faster do you want us to go? Even if you give us an advantage of a factor of a MILLION in speed, it would still take us a thousand years to catch up … ’.

So it is totally unrealistic to expect to actually observe evolution, even under artificially accelerated conditions.

Richard Dawkins, Professor of Zoology, Oxford University, said, ‘Evolution has been observed. It’s just that it has not been observed while it’s happening.’

3. Some can’t be tested because they are consistent with every imaginable state of affairs in the empirical world.

The next is essentially the same:

4. … [or] are so vague and malleable that anything relevant can be shoehorned to fit the theory.

Evolutionists are always ready with a story to explain any observed trait of a species. Why do some birds, like peacocks and birds of paradise, have beautiful and elaborate tails? Evolutionists explain, ‘If a peacock can … find food and evade predators while dragging around a bigger and more conspicuous tail than his rivals do’ this demonstrates that he is particularly strong and capable, and thus makes a better mate. So evolution selects females that prefer males with the most elaborate tails.

But the same article also says, ‘it’s hard to figure what possible advantage these eye-catching but burdensome appendages offer … in the grim business of survival.’ If peacocks had small, streamlined tails, evolutionist would surely be explaining that an efficient tail gives an advantage in the struggle for survival (in escaping from predators, for example).

Evolution is just as good at ‘predicting’ things that never happened as it is at predicting things that actually did happen. A theory that can explain anything, predicts nothing and proves nothing.

5. Some theories have been empirically tested and rather than being confirmed they seem either to have been falsified or to require numerous ad hoc hypotheses to sustain them.

Evolutionists are forced to admit that the fossil evidence for their theory is slim to non-existent. For example, almost all major groups of creatures appear in the fossil record with no evolutionary past. ‘Something quite bizarre happened at the end of the Precambrian Era. Rocks from that time show evidence of an astounding variety of multicelled and hard-shelled life forms that seemingly appeared all at once. Scientists have long pondered the causes of this sudden appearance of new life forms, known as the Cambrian explosion.’

So the evolutionists offer ad hoc hypotheses to explain the lack of evidence. One popular theory is ‘punctuated equilibrium’, which says that sometimes evolution happens so fast that there are too few ‘intermediate’ generations for any to have much chance of being fossilized.

We cannot see evolution happening today because it goes so slowly, and we cannot see evidence of it in the past because it happened too quickly!

6. Some pseudoscientific theories rely on ancient myths and legends…

Okay, one that doesn’t particularly describe evolution, although evolutionary notions can be traced back to ancient pagan Greek philosophers such as Empedocles (c. 490–430 BC)

7. Some pseudoscientific theories are supported mainly by selective use of anecdotes, intuition, and examples of confirming instances.

Evolutionists try to find animals that fit into their ‘evolutionary tree’. In the classic ‘horse story’, they arrange a group of animals with similar body shapes in order by size and say it shows the evolution of the horse. But is this actual ancestry or just a contrived arrangement? Except for the supposed ‘first horse’, which it probably isn’t, far from being an example of evolution, the fossils show the wide variation within a created kind. As the biologist Heribert-Nilsson said, ‘The family tree of the horse is beautiful and continuous only in the textbooks’.

Most of the creatures that would have had to exist if evolution were true have never been found, and some creatures have been found that don’t fit in the evolutionary tree at all, like the platypus. But evolutionists seize on a few creatures that sort of look like they might be halfway between a badger and a horse, or between a reptile and a bird. These rare apparent fits ‘prove’ evolution as much as occasional good guesses by a psychic ‘prove’ that he can read your mind.

8. Some pseudoscientific theories confuse metaphysical claims with empirical claims.

Some evolutionists insist that evolution has no metaphysical implications. ‘Evolution does not have moral consequences, and does not make cosmic purpose impossible.’

But others make dogmatic metaphysical applications. The American Academy for the Advancement of Science website includes a whole section on ‘Science, Ethics, and Religion’, with statements like, ‘Evolution is the creation myth of our age. By telling us our origins it shapes our views of what we are. … In calling it a myth I am not saying that it is a false story. I mean that it has great symbolic power, which is independent of its truth. Is the word religion appropriate to it? This depends on the sense in which we understand that very elastic word. I have chosen it deliberately.’

Richard Dawkins said that ‘Darwin made it possible to be an intellectually fulfilled atheist’.

9. Some pseudoscientific theories … contradict known scientific laws and use ad hoc hypotheses to explain their belief.

A pro-evolution web site states, ‘Until the 19th century, it was commonly believed that life frequently arose from non-life under certain circumstances, a process known as “spontaneous generation”. This belief was due to the common observation that maggots or mould appeared to arise spontaneously when organic matter was left exposed. It was later discovered that under all these circumstances commonly observed, life only arises from life. … No life has ever been observed to arise from dead matter.’

But evolutionists dismiss the fact that their theory requires the violation of this well-established law of science. ‘Did [Pasteur] prove that no life can ever come from non-living things? No, he didn’t, and this is because you cannot disprove something like that experimentally … ’.

The fact that all the experimental evidence of the past 200 years contradicts their theory is irrelevant, because they speculate that it’s possible that there is some experiment that no one has yet tried where it might work.

10. Pseudoscientists claim to base their theories on empirical evidence, and they may even use some scientific methods, though often their understanding of a controlled experiment is inadequate.

Evolutionists claim that their theory is science, but the National Center for Science Education, which is an anti-creationist lobbying group, admits that there’s a problem: ‘The failure of many students to understand and accept the fact of evolution is often a consequence of the naïve views they hold of the nature of science … . According to this naïve view, the key to the unique success of science at producing true knowledge is “The Scientific Method”, which, on the standard account, involves formulating hypotheses, making predictions, and then going into the laboratory to perform the crucial experiment. … In contrast, the work of many evolutionary biologists involves the reconstruction of the past. The methods they use do not conform to the standard view of “The Scientific Method”.’

So if you can’t actually prove your theory using the scientific method, which actually uses controlled experiment, as distinct from plausible story telling, simply declare that only ‘naïve’ people think that the scientific method has anything to do with ‘science’.

Thus, of the ten characteristics of pseudoscience listed in the Skeptic’s Dictionary, evolution meets nine. Few other pseudosciences—astrology, astral projection, alien abduction, crystal power, or whatever—would meet so many.

Expanding Universe – Scientific Truth of Quran

As was just recently discovered in 1920’s by Russian scientists, Alexander Friedmann & Belgian Scientiest, Georges Lemaitre, we all know now that our universe is expanding day by day at high accelerate rate. The speed of expansion increases day by day in all directions. This means the originate of all this must have started from a single point (all galaxies, stars, planets, etc were once joined together), which is very dense and infinitely small. Then, theory was named as “Big Bang”. In 1929, this theory was later proven by Edwin Hubble (American Astronomer) by his discovery in measuring distances between galaxies that are moving apart all the time.

The Quran already talked about this single point (join together) around 1400 years ago. How can a man named Muhammad knew this that time (because there was primitive astronomy), while discovery was just recently in 20th century ? And who was he addressing to in this Book of Quran ? Of course, the Quran addresses this to the scientists and astronomers, such as Edwin Hubble, Alexander Friedmann, Georges Lemaitre, and all today scientists around the world, including you.

Edwin Hubble was raised as a Christian, though he grew up believing in a control system that was led mostly by “destiny”. As time continued on, Hubble furthered himself from the belief of religion, and did not continue mentioning religion or the ability of a higher power, despite the Big Bang Theory and the Expanding Theory. Both the Big Bang and Expanding theories collided with atheist views that the universe had always existed.

That sounds too weak. If my kid became gay I would lock them into the closet, no food, no water etc until they learn how to behave. Originally solitary confinement proved very effective against fags in mental hospitals but thanks to the liberals you can't do that anymore so you have to take matters into your own hands.

lilium-orientalis: Here’s a hot take

I’m well aware that pedophilia and any sort of romantic/sexual interaction with a minor is hanous and completely devoid of any sort of good, but I can’t get behind these “if I saw a pedophile I’d shoot them without question” or “all pedophiles should drop dead now.” To me it’s saying that God’s grace is not powerful enough to change these people. It’s saying that the blood of Christ was not powerful enough to cleanse certain sins and it’s untrue. Our wish should not be for pedophiles to die, our wish should be that they receive help and completely abandon their life style to follow Christ instead.

actual-kittens-against-ddlg: Exactly. I have seen several instances of pedophiles changing. Completely different people after deliverance and turning to Christ.

A prominent LGBT rights activist from Uganda has renounced her homosexuality and is now calling the lifestyle sinful.

Val Kalende, a Ugandan national granted asylum in Canada in 2015 after her country passed its Anti-Homosexuality Act the year before, declared in late July that she’s no longer lesbian and will, in fact, soon be married, according to The Christian Post.

In 2012 and 2014, Kalende authored columns for The Huffington Post, arguing against the country’s anti-gay legislation. In one of the columns, she even wrote, “The church in Africa has become a safety net for homophobia mainly because it is safer to bash gays with the Bible than it is to bash gays with politics.”

She also once served as a fellow at OutRight Action International, formerly known as the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission.

But now, Kalende says she’s been “saved.”

Kalende explained in an interview with the Daily Monitor that her transition away from homosexuality happened roughly one year ago. She waited to make a public profession because she “wanted to take time to do the important work on myself” before speaking out.

When she first came out, Kalende told the news outlet, her parents abandoned her. In her words, she “became an orphan.”

“I became rebellious,” she said. “We always wondered why the world forced us to become girls who do not love men. Right now, I have no peace of mind. I sometimes break down and cry wondering why am like this.”

In an introspective Facebook post published earlier this month, Kalende wondered how she, raised by Christian parents, walked away from her convictions and lived in a lifestyle opposed to her faith for so long.

“I wrestled with this question for many years. I didn’t have answers. My rebellion had separated me from God,” she wrote. “Oftentimes, I read my Bible — particularly Scripture on homosexuality and marriage — but my heart was hardened.”

It wasn’t until Kalende changed her “approach” to God that she began to see her own perspective change. She wrote:

My approach should have been: “Lord, I don’t have answers but I trust and believe your Word. Your intention is not to harm me or prevent me from enjoying life. Your intention is to preserve me; and to give me not the life of my choice but the life I deserve according to your love. Help me to obey your purpose for my life.”

Kalende’s complete turnaround garnered the attention of some Christian activists in the United States.
In a statement to The Christian Post, Mat Staver, founder of the religious freedom law firm Liberty Counsel, descried Kalende as “an incredible example that Jesus Christ can change the heart of even those who have acted adamantly against him.”

“Ms. Kalende’s testimony,” he continued, “is like Saul’s conversion from persecuting Christians to then giving his heart and life to God and becoming Paul. Despite those who want to deny reality, people can and do change.”
