According to the statement of facts, [Rehab] Dughmosh was radicalized online in 2014 which is when she swore allegiance to ISIS. On the day of her attack she started her preperations spent organizing and manufacturing homemade weapons—a search of her home after the attack found a total of 36 weapons. Among them were were an assortment of knives and scissors, a child’s shovel converted into a clawed weapon, arrows, straws with screws glued to the tips, and a whole lot of barbecue skewers.

After she had packed all these weapons away and headed out the door of her Scarborough apartment she ran into a familiar face—her estranged husband. The man asked and then checked what she had in the bags, upon seeing the weapons, he took them away from her. But, in sneaky-sneaky twist straight out of a Coen Brothers film, he didn’t know that she had hidden a butchers knife and archery bow underneath her robe—although the latter proved to be kinda useless as her arrows were in her bag.

Not yet deterred, Dughmosh made her way to her local Canadian Tire shortly before five that evening. Once there she perused the store looking for weapons that could help her—like arrows for her lonely bow. However, Dughmosh was thwarted again when an employee told her that they couldn’t just give her a set of arrows in the store and instead would have to give it to the cashier at the front. Dughmosh didn’t have money at the moment, meaning she couldn’t just buy the arrows. So she continued to shop and filled her basket with the best makeshift weapons she could actually get her hands on, like a hammer, a wrench, and a pair of pliers.

With her weapons now stocked, Dughmosh stole a golf club of a shelf and hid in an aisle as she prepped for her attack, putting on an ISIS bandana and unrolling a homemade banner she made for the terror cell with spraypaint. She slung her bow—which remember, didn't have arrows—over her shoulder and headed to the paint section which is where she would start her attack. According to the statement of facts, Dughmosh saw two employees helping some customers and sprung, swinging the club at them while yelling “Allah Ackbar” and “this is for ISIS” repeatedly.

Almost immediately the club was wrestled from her hand by a Canadian Tire employee. Dughmosh then pulled her knife and, again, was thwarted when she was wrestled to the ground and a different employee pried the knife from her. While pinned on the ground Dughmosh was asked by an employee what the fuck she was doing and if she was trying to kill people for ISIS.

"Yes. When you kill us, we will kill you ... When you kill Muslims, you have to pay for it from your blood,” she said.

According to the statement of facts, Dughmosh was bummed that she wasn’t able to hurt anyone in her gambit but was happy she attempted an attack. No one was seriously hurt but one of the employees did walk away with some bruises and a bite mark after Dughmosh chomped on him.

Could God step in and prevent it? Yes. But He doesn't. Why? Because man needs to see the consequence of sin and straying from Gods path to be willing to turn away from it. People need an understanding of how adverse sin is to never want to do it again. But that doesn't mean that God doesn't grieve. Remember these are His children we're talking about. His heart burns for them every second. Most people think that He just sits back nd watches the world as if it were TV screen. But in truth, He’s with all of us e every minute. He suffers with us. He sent His own Son, spotless and pure, to die a gruesome death so that we might be saved. But one day all suffering will come to an end forever. God has every single life in mind as if each one was his only priority. Justice will be done to every living soul in the end. We cannot understand every aspect of the divine plan of an omniscient, omnipotent God. But we just need to know that He has assured a fair ending to this great controversy. It's not for us to try and fathom everything. That's where faith comes into the picture.

A Florida man has been accused of terrorizing his Iraqi neighbors by breaking into their home before threatening that “Trump will handle it” if he couldn’t get them to leave the neighborhood, authorities said.

David Allen Boileau, 58, was arrested in Holiday on Tuesday following an incident the day before in which Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco said he threw nails and screws into the family’s driveway on Pinehurst Drive in an attempt to flatten the tires of a relative’s car, the Tampa Bay Times reports.

“The US needs to rid the country of all of them,” Boileau said during the incident, according to a Pasco County Sheriff’s Office arrest report. “He also stated we’ll get rid of them one way or another.”

Boileau, who had just recently moved into the neighborhood, took his alleged dislike of Middle Easterners to new depths on Tuesday when a neighbor told deputies he saw him approach the family’s home and yell into the windows.

The neighbor then spotted Boileau walk out the family’s front door before the neighbor started recording video of the incident and called authorities.

Boileau later admitted to a responding deputy that he went into the family’s home via an unlocked door before walking out and rifling through their mailbox. The Iraqi family, which includes four young children, was not home at the time, but when the female homeowner returned she told deputies a wallet containing credit cards, gift cards and other valuables was stolen from the residence, according to the report.

Boileau denied taking anything from the family, who had lived at the address without incident for the last three years and didn’t have any prior interactions with Boileau, the report states.

“David uttered several statements of his dislike for people of Middle Eastern descent prior to being read his Miranda Warning and after being read his Miranda Warning as well,” according to the report. “The defendant made statements of the US needing to get rid of people with Middle Eastern descent and they don’t belong here. He also stated if he doesn’t get rid of them, Trump will handle it.”

"Well, maybe the King James isn't so important. It's OK if the dykes come in and the homos come in. We're gonna have a little rock and roll. Let's get more buses, you know, and less hard preaching. No more soul-winning; that doesn't work." Yeah, the guy's probably not even saved. For if a man not know how to rule his own house, how should he take care of the church of God?

You know, the hair standards in I Corinthians chapter 11; it says a man ought to have short hair, and a woman ought to have long hair. That's God's standard. You tell that to somebody, "Oh, you're being hateful." Well, I'm just telling you what God said. I'm just telling you what God said. And you shouldn't hate me for saying it, but unfortunately, the world doesn't understand that. We in here are without excuse. We in here are without excuse. Honestly, if there were a man in here that understood these principles and he had his hair down to his butt, I'd say, "Dude, why are you living in sin?" If there was a woman in here that said, "Well, I can do whatever... all my friends, they chopped it up to here [gesturing to the top of his head], and they made it this purple-silverish color. The clothing! You know, the Bible says that your thigh is your nakedness. The Bible also says your chest is your nakedness. The Bible's teaching that from your neck to your knee should be covered up, and only shared with your husband or wife. That goes for men too. Men, you shouldn't be swimming with your shirt off. Ladies, you need to cover your nakedness. That's God's commandment. Don't break his commandment! That's the way it oughta be. "Well, that's old-fashioned". Hey, amen! Yeah it is! It's a sin to show it off; it doesn't belong to anybody else but your husband. And men, it's the same way. Don't wear shorts that show your thigh. That's wicked. That's not right with God.

Look here in Deuteronomy 22. Look at verse number 5. "The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God." Do you hear what that says? Listen, I bring this up for a reason, because I grew up IFB, and I rarely heard this verse. I grew up IFB, seeing families that grew up conservative, and the ladies dress like ladies, and the men dress like gentlemen, and then, they got tired of church, and they fell out of church, and they started dressing like the world. And they didn't know this verse. Their principle, their foundation, was not on the word of God. We're reading this verse because we're gonna have a foundation based on the word of God. God says here that if a man comes walking in in a skirt, that's an abomination. "What are you wearing? That's disgusting!" "Well, what about the Irish?" Let's not talk about that. Let's not go... what the kilts and all, I mean there was some bad things there anyway. Go to Titus chapter 2. But he says, "A woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man." "Are you telling me that my wife needs to wear skirts all the time?" No, I'm not. God is! God is! God says a woman oughta dress like a woman, and she ought to be a lady. And if she has a problem in her heart with that, that is rebellion against God's commandment. "Boy, that's so old-fashioned; you're not gonna get people around here." Well, I'm not trying to get people. I'm trying to lay a foundation that will last forever. And it's not pretty sometimes. Dresses and skirts on ladies please God. God wants the gender roles to be separated. God wants it to be distinguishable what a lady is and what a man is. He wants it to be clear. He came to bring division for our own good, and we don't get that some time. He's commanded men to work. In I Timothy 5, he says, "But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel." Worse than an infidel! Dad, if you sit at home, and you don't work, and you send mom off, you're a bum! You're a deadbeat! Your worse than an infidel! You act worse than the heathen! You're breaking God's law! He's not happy with that. The flipside of the coin, here in Titus chapter 2. Titus chapter 2. Look at verse number 4: "That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children," verse 5, "To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good," listen to this, "obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed." Mom, if you're rebellious, you might as well cuss at the Bible, because God said for you to obey your husband. God said, "Mom, you should stay home and take care of the kids. Dad, you need to go to work." That's his perfect plan. Dad, don't act like an infidel. Mom, don't make the word of God blasphemed by being disobedient.

Him and just about every other 20-something these days. When did we stop being parents and start being "buddies" to our kids? This has all been carefully planned by the powers that be.

If I were you, I would do the exact opposite of what this sinful world is pushing. REPENT, and ACKNOWLEDGE that you are a filthy sinner in God's eyes. BELIEVE that Jesus Christ came to die in YOUR PLACE, and shed His precious blood for you so you wouldn't have to go to Hell. RECEIVE God's love gift of eternal life. Then you will be born again and go to Heaven when you die.

Nothing else matters but what you do with Jesus, friend. I strongly suggest you believe on Him for salvation. If not, you WILL end up in the Lake of Fire, forever.

Now obviously, in this society we live in today, this would never happen, right? America, this isn’t happening. You can’t take your child up to the government and say, “Look, this guy won’t listen to us, hearken to us.”

But here’s the thing. When man fails to execute God’s judgment, do you think God’s just gonna let that go? God will repay. When man fails to put someone to death, God will take care of it. And if you’re a stubborn and rebellious child, you better be careful every single step you take…

I don’t know many people who manifest the courage and faith this woman has done, although I think it’s a matter of standing up and being strong or go through life being a victim, weak and defeated; this is an option that is simply antithetical to what I know of Moira’s spirit. Both her parents were gay, and quite notorious for it. She suffered terrible abuses from both of them, and now has joined the growing ranks of Children of Gays who are speaking out in prophet voices to tell all the rest of us that, despite the gay-controlled rhetoric, homosexuality is bad for children. What can the straight spouses of gay parents do to protect their children?

I have been asked to respond to this question, and I admit I am at a loss. This question is not about Spouse A being right and Spouse B being wrong. It is about humanity splitting itself in two, usually for completely stupid reasons, and the devastation it wreaks upon the children.

When a spouse, usually a wife, discovers she is married to a man who has decided to pursue a gay lifestyle, she is already enduring her own heartbreak, shock, and betrayal.

Not only will her children be enduring the likely destruction of their home life, but they will be asked to endure a culture shock which will force them to confront adult questions that no child should be forced to endure.

It is bad enough to know your parent has left your other parent for an ordinary relationship. When your parent abandons his former faith, his wedding vows, and his cultural norms and values, the child is in a position of having to choose, which amounts to choosing one’s left hand or one’s right hand.

Socially, children will generally choose the path which minimizes the negative repercussions. It is understandable both to want to avoid conflict and to want to continue to be a “fan” of the straying parent.

Watching the heartbreak of the abandoned parent is awful, but cannot silence questions about the whole situation. If Mom was abandoned, thinks the child, did she do something wrong? After all, our parents are both right, they have to be, or the entire world is split in two.

Most likely the children will feel forced to choose, even if this choice has nothing whatsoever to do with either objective reality or with their own interest. Male children may choose to side with the father, because it is emotional suicide to reject the primary male figure in their lives, even if he is tarnished beyond belief.

In my own family, my brother chose my father over my mother, which in some ways made sense, because he was kinder and less cruel. In other ways, it made no sense at all, because he brought home a long succession of teen and preteen boys for sex, and he endlessly pressured my brother to have sex with them—and with him.

I also chose my father in some ways, because he was less cruel than my mother. But ultimately, I chose neither one, because neither one chose me.

We learn how to be people from our parents. When our parents choose sexual folly over keeping the home together, children learn that sex is more important than people, and much more important than we are. If our father rejects our mother, we learn that women are unimportant and can be abandoned on a sexual whim. If our mother rejects our father, we learn that men are disposable.

Most catastrophically, if our father decides to “become a woman,” it can provoke terrible anguish in the children. For both girls and boys, their father is literally gone, and “replaced” with a human who is doing disgraceful things for reasons which make no sense to a child. In a boy, it can cause them to fear that their own masculinity can be lost at any moment, and that they might inadvertently be turned into a woman. In a girl, it can make them conclude that no man will ever want them, because if their own father abandoned their mother and turned into a female, it must be because they have failed. Deep down, that failure will always be present, even if unspoken.

In my own family, where my father did not actually choose to “become a woman,” he absolutely refused masculine and feminine gender roles, which left me feeling like I was a nothing, neither male nor female. I was “less than” any boy, because he preferred boys for sex and denigrated girls for “wanting relationships.” If I was a girl. i was “one of them,” those foul creatures rejected by my father. Of course, my attempts to masquerade as a boy were never enough. I became adept at fencing, but any kind of fighting was too stereotypically masculine for my father, so again I had failed.

When a father leaves, either physically leaving the family, or by abandoning his gender for his sexual whims, the sun falls out of the sky for the children. Their very existence as males and females is called into question. Also, the mother is devastated by her own perceived failure and deep, deep grief.

If there is a custody battle, the children are figuratively torn in half for reasons that will never make sense. The wife is likely to be devalued even more in a divorce from a gay man than in an ordinary divorce, partly because of the legal climate, and partly because she will blame herself for failing so deeply as a woman that her man abandoned manhood and straight love altogether rather than remaining with her.

The children will naturally fear being abandoned by a gay spouse in their own future.

The original question was this: is there anything an abandoned wife of a gay man can do to protect her children? The answer is no, and a qualified yes.

We cannot stop the pain. We cannot stop the grief or the feelings of abandonment. We cannot stop the nightmare or the moral outrage. We cannot even stop the gay parent from allowing his new “friends” from terrorizing, molesting, or even raping the children.

In such a situation, what hope can I give?

We can stay aware that our children are hurt, and that their hurt must be handled as more important than our own. It is important as much as possible, to not allow them to see our grief in all of its fullness, not to allow them to think we are forcing them to take sides. Their relationship with their father is about learning their place in the universe, not about us.

What we must do is to remain a safe place. We have to be the one they can express their doubts and fears to. If they have to defend their father, they will be silencing their own agony to do so. This means we must be Switzerland, not taking any side but theirs. If their father commits a bad act, we must listen attentively, and respond from the perspective of helping them, not persecuting their father.

Even if their father is the worst villain imaginable, they will never abandon him. I know this, because my own father is a serial rapist of children, and I am the one who put him in prison for molesting an eleven year old boy in front of me.

I cannot abandon my father, even though he blamed me for his imprisonment, and he most certainly abandoned me. If that is my position as an adult, how likely is it that a child will be able to abandon a father for much smaller crimes?

We abandon our own hearts. We do not abandon our parents. All we can do is teach our children to pay attention to their own discomfort and encourage them to protect themselves against anything which feels wrong. We can also teach them to speak up firmly, even when they are afraid.

In a way, it feels like I am trying to explain to a fish how to be comfortable while being eaten by a shark. My advice might reduce the pain slightly, but we did not cause the injury, and we cannot prevent the pain altogether.

Let them see that you are not rejecting yourselves, nor will you reject them, even if they side with their father. It hurts, it is appalling, but it is unavoidable. Any boy around eight or nine is going to detach from Mother to a large degree and seek out his father as his primary role model. If his father is a horrible role model, telling him that will not alter his need for his father at all.

What you can do is to make sure your sons have better male role models in their lives, whether sports coaches, teachers who will mentor them properly, or relatives they have cause to admire. I did mention not telling them that you are doing this, yes? Just do it, and do not say why. The last thing they need to hear is that you are rejecting their father, because any rejection of him will feel internally like a rejection of them, no matter what you intend it to be.

My own sons identify strongly with their football coaches, thank God.

Above all, let your children know through your own conduct that being normally male and female is good and right, and that they have the right to be themselves, even if some people might want them to change into something else.

I wish I had more comfort to offer you.

New Year, Resolutions?

January 1, 2019. Another year, and the push to make new resolutions for a “New Year, New You” for the coming twelve months, mixed with the jokes about broken resolutions and the unending cycle of same.

For us as Catholics, the year begins with Mass – not for a new year, but to honor the power of the Incarnation through the fiat of Mary, in a grand Solemnity. I cantored for a local Mass last night, and played at the chapel for another, this morning. This is a very good way to begin.

We are in a grave time of crisis, and we have important choices to make. Our culture is running mad. Children are being exploited as sex objects, even applauded for being transgender or a drag queen on national television, for all our children to see and to think should be imitated or looked up to. Local libraries and bookstores are promoting reading hours with drag queens — again, to influence our children and to lure them into a false glamour, to rob them of their innocence.

There is an increasing push to criminalize reparative therapy: the gay lobby insists, very loudly, that it is impossible to change one’s gender preference and that reparative therapy is abuse of a criminal degree — while they insist that one can overcome biology to change one’s own gender.

Public schools are promoting these ideologies, and even taking children to begin the process of “transitioning” — without parental consent. Parents who oppose these manipulations of their children are being charged with criminal acts and losing their children to the State.

It’s being reported than nearly 14,010,000 babies were aborted in the past year.

The hallmarks of paganism are human sacrifice and sexual depravity.

More and more, Christians and those who hold traditional moral and social values are being scorned, persecuted, punished in the public square.

And even our beloved Church, which is supposed to be the safeguard of all things holy, and the example of sanctity in the world, is embroiled in one controversy and crisis after another — as princes of the Church protect one another from accountability for grave misdeeds, and promote individuals who defy Church teaching in order to promote deviance in the name of “love” and “acceptance.”

We can’t even take our own pontiff seriously, any more, for whatever words he might utter about homosexuals being kept from the priesthood, he promotes and protects the apologists for the homosexual lifestyle and punishes those who actually hold faithful to the Magisterium.

So, in this coming year, I propose that we must be resolved:

1. to make an oblation, an offering, of our lives to God.
to live faithfully to Christ, even in isolation, even in defiance of the tsunami of atheism and insanity that is pouring in on us.

2. to know our Faith better, day by day, through diligent study of the Scriptures and works of the Magisterium (beginning, in conjunction with the Scriptures, the Catechism)

3. to foster a greater love for Christ, through an increase in prayer and devotional time, so that the whole of our life might be a continual, unceasing prayer and praise

4. to practice the Works of Mercy – which includes the often-uncomfortable Works of rebuking sinners and instructing the ignorant
to guard our minds and hearts against the influence of the Evil One

5. to do all in our power to protect our homes and families from evil influence
for those who are married to pray together as a couple, and those with children to incorporate the family rosary and prayer in your daily routine

6. for those who are not married to find prayer partners with whom you will unite in prayer and service, holding one another up to God and to accountability

7. to serve faithfully in the Church Militant in that sphere of life to which we are called, and in which we daily live.

Frankly, I think our culture has gone past the point of no return. I don’t believe we can recover the innocence and purity of past generations. I believe we are now on a Search And Rescue mission.

Let us do our very best.

Might Govmint Someday Delete the Bible and other Christian documents from all Devices?

The other day I was sitting in a booth at the local McDonalds, soaking in the ambiance while I took an occasional small bite of my sausage biscuit, and sips from my large diet coke. It was an early morning like most of my early mornings. I'd gotten up at Oh Dark Thirty and drove to the Big Dipper Ice Arena where I proceeded to jog indoors in little ovals for 35 minutes while listening to a Christian fiction audio-book. Why 35 minutes? Research and testing determined that I would lose my marbles if I didn't stop at 35 minutes... running in little ovals is pretty boring, after all. 'Peers I got side tracked from what I wanted to share in this thread.

While sitting at McDonalds, eating and reading from an e-book, sometimes wondering what kind of lives the folks behind the counter lead... They're always nice to me. One of them calls me biscuit on account of that's what she prepares when she sees me come through the door. They used to all know my name because they would ask for it when they took my order. Then they switched to numbers... now I'm just Biscuit...

Without warning a thought popped in to my mind... I have several copies of the Bible on my smart phone and it occurred to me that it would be very easy for the govmint, after they abolish the Bible because it is supposedly full of hate speech, to delete without permission all copies of Bibles and other Christian writings that are on our phones and tablets and computers. I pondered that thought for a while and concluded that e-copies of the Bible will become quite vulnerable as we approach the end of this era, and will certainly be in grave danger during the Tribulation years.

I've got oodles of hard copies of the Bible at home but have pretty much switched entirely over to e-reading the Good Book. After it occurred to me that it would be quite easy, technologically speaking, for a govmint authority to simply delete the Bible from devices, I next wondered how e-copies might be protected somewhat. I guess having copies in .pdf format where you could change the name of the file to Aunt Bertha Recipe Book or some other such thing to throw off the hounds might help protect the file from big brother.

Seriously, until now it hadn't occurred to me how vulnerable e-books could possibly become. It would be a simple matter to search out and delete whatever books have been banned from devices, servers, etc. Given that mankind is going over more and more to e-books and books in audio format, hard copies will become increasingly unavailable to people... meaning after the church is gone the Word of God may become hard to come by for brave new Believers during Tribulation.

Additionally, the antichrist could conceivably replace Bible files with altered ones that when studied would lead people to believe he truly has come to save the world... How confusing and difficult those last years will be.

And to correct you, true christianity isn't a "religion", because religion is man made. Ours is a relationship with the Creator of all things. A spiritual family of God brought about by His grace and power. Very different from all the other religions in the world. Very unique.

It is that simple. The Creator of all (heavens, the earth, and all that is in them) only has the right to determine the boundaries of His creation, the created doesn't have that right. Sin is anything in "rebellion" against the Creator's order and instructions. Jesus is the Creator (read the book of John chapter one, in the New Testament of the bible). So anything against this is anti-christ.

Very simple, even a child could understand it.

People with a really strong, permanent marriage put the power of Jesus Christ as the third individual involved. Sex outside the marriage is adultery, and God gave us the order, not to punish us, but to protect us. Sex outside the marriage might seem exciting and satisfying in the heat of the moment, but deep inside the minds of the participants, distance and distrust grows over time. Follow God's laws, people. My husband doesn’t notice; he doesn’t even really know me (a busy, commanding, visionary that I am happy to help). But I am sure he is enjoying the benefits, all this help without complaint. What is to complain about? I am being led by the Spirit.

I used to think “What about my needs?” “Don’t I at least get to talk to you once in a while since you are my husband, instead of just taking orders?” “What about a little affection or romance?” But he just doesn’t have the time. One night after a very exhausting day I was praying and realized this is God’s will for my life: that I be a help meet to this man. But instead of feeling the burden of something I didn’t want, I realized God knows best. This realization that to finish in me this work that He started, for me to do and be all He created me to be. I had to live this life and be “deprived” (that’s the world talking) of a friendly romantic relationship with my husband. It may always be a master/servant kind of marriage, but Praise be to the Lord, because I don’t care anymore. I am free and now when I tell my children to be happy, and when I say “OK” to my husband, “OK, baby, whatever you say. I love you,” I am saying it with a happy face. I think my husband is the most handsome wonderful man alive and someday he may think something good about me, but if not, Praise be to GOD, because I am free. I could never believe in the Love of God really, that God’s love is so good, had I not learned the lessons you taught me from Romans. Thank you for making it free. God bless you.

Command Men have less tolerance, so they will often walk off and leave their clamoring wife before she has a chance to realize that she is even close to losing her marriage. By the time she realizes that there is a serious problem, she is already a divorced mother seeking help in how to raise her children alone. A woman can fight until she is blue in the face, yet the Command Man will not yield. Yielding would be against his personhood. He is not as intimate or vulnerable as are other men in sharing his personal feelings or vocation with his wife. He seems to be sufficient unto himself. It is awful being shut out. A woman married to a Command Man has to earn her place in his heart by proving that she will stand by her man, faithful, loyal, and obedient. When she has won his confidence, he will treasure her to the extreme.

Jesus Christ did exist. He is a historical person proven not just by the Bible, but by documents dating back to that time. Also, it has been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that he was crucified and died.

What people debate is whether or not he rose again from the dead or whether His disciples came in the night and stole His body. To this, I can answer that He did indeed rise from the dead. It would have been entirely impossible for the disciples to steal the body because Jesus was buried in a rock hewn tomb that was covered by a gigantic boulder. Roman soldiers were placed on guard at the tomb. The boulder would have been impossible to move without significant effort and a great deal of noise. Even the heaviest sleepers would have woken up by the racket. Also, many people purport to have seen him after he rose from the dead. His burial shroud lay as if he had just lay in it. It was not disturbed by any normal movement, but completely flat as if someone had just completely vanished from underneath it. It could not have been done except by miraculous means.

The next proof of Jesus’ divinity lies in the well documented miraculous healings that have been worked through the centuries. Medical science has failed to come up with an explanation for the miracles at Lourdes and other places in which people have purportedly seen the Blessed Virgin Mary, Christ's mother.

We resist the redemptive work of Christ because it is an uncomfortable reminder of our need for repentance and living according to God's laws. It is easier to not believe in the saving work of Christ than to admit that there is something larger than ourselves that we are being held accountable to. To know that there is a God who judges our deeds is a truly humbling experience. It is much, much easier to think of ourselves as “ little gods”. However, we must acknowledge ourselves as creatures created by God and redeemed out of love.

Let us not be so proud that we think ourselves to be “gods” of our own destiny and that there is no God or No One who loved us so much that He paid the price for our many offenses against His sovereignty. If we humble ourselves in prayer and ask for faith, it will not be denied us.

“For God so loved the world that he sent His only begotten son so that whoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

Now, assuming he was the Son of God and Savior, why would anyone refuse his freely offered gift of salvation? (I agree, it was a GREAT sacrifice!!)

I don’t know. Stupidity? Selfishness? Refusal to yield control of one’s life? Desire to live a life of sin?

The fruits of the Spirit are: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control. Not saying that people who aren’t Christians don’t have some of these, but they don’t have ALL of them at the same time.

I understand that some of the greatest Darwinists today actually have admitted privately that they can’t believe in a Creator because then they can’t live the kind of life they want to, chasing girls (yes, they were all men), alcohol and other drugs, etc. They would have to answer to God on Judgment Day. This was unacceptable! So they refuse to believe.

Well, I have news for them - come the End, they’ll believe, but it will be too late to change anything. God has given them LOTS of evidence of his existence and they refuse to listen. So they will pay the price. But they can blame no one else! And it’s eternally sad for them. (sniff sniff)

South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster had a request regarding faith-based foster care providers from an Obama administration regulation make an exception for groups in the Palmetto State.

The regulation initially said that faith-based foster and adoption groups could not discriminate against families who wanted to adopt but did not adhere to the agency's beliefs and still accept federal money to fund their operations. Those beliefs could mean that families of different religions or sexual orientations could be denied a chance to foster or adopt children if they went against private organization's beliefs.

In a statement released Wednesday, the ruling made by the Administration for Children and Families at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has granted the governor’s request. It says, in part:

The governor of South Carolina, Henry McMaster, asked ACF to grant the state an exception, highlighting discrimination against faith-based organizations arising from the December 2016 grants regulation, which became effective in January 2017. It is a well-established process under HHS regulations that states can request an exception. HHS's grants regulation establishes that any grantee can seek an exception (or deviation) from particular grant requirements, and sets forth a process for seeking such exceptions. "We have approved South Carolina's request to protect religious freedom and preserve high-quality foster care placement options for children," said Lynn Johnson, assistant secretary for ACF. "Faith-based organizations that provide foster care services not only perform a great service for their communities, they are exercising a legally-protected right to practice their faith through good works. Our federal agency should not – and, under the laws adopted by Congress, cannot – drive faith-motivated foster care providers out of the business of serving children without a compelling government interest, especially now that child welfare systems are stretched thin as a result of the opioid epidemic.


Gov. McMaster joined the fight against this policy when a Greenville faith-based center, Miracle Hill Ministries, whose requirement for Christians-only became a contested issue.

"I will never stop fighting for your religious freedom. The generous foster families at Miracle Hill Ministries make sacrifices to protect our vulnerable children, but the government cannot force them to sacrifice their faith. Will you stand with us?" McMaster wrote in February 2018.

In considering the request of the state of South Carolina, ACF consulted with department subject-matter experts including the Office for Civil Rights (OCR), to which HHS has delegated the responsibility to ensure compliance among its programs and its grantees with the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA). "This decision preserves all of the foster care agencies currently available for children in South Carolina by ensuring faith-based organizations can continue to serve this vulnerable population. It protects minors who are in need of as many options as possible for being placed in loving foster families," said Johnson. "The government should not be in the business of forcing foster care providers to close their doors because of their faith. Religious freedom is a fundamental human right." As before, all qualified persons interested in becoming certified foster care providers will continue to have multiple avenues for doing so within the state. Additionally, as a condition of the relief HHS provided the state of South Carolina, subrecipients of grant funds will continue to refer any potential foster care families not accepted into subrecipients' program to other placement agencies or to the state. "By granting this request to South Carolina, HHS is putting foster care capacity needs ahead of burdensome regulations that are in conflict with the law," said Johnson.


In response, the ACLU tweeted: "The Governor of South Carolina asked @HHSGov for permission to discriminate against prospective adoptive and foster families based on their religious beliefs — and HHS just granted it. Children who are waiting for loving and supportive homes deserve better than this."

Terry Schilling, executive director at American Principles Project, released the following statement applauding HHS for approving the exception for South Carolina faith-based foster care providers and urging further progress toward dismantling the discriminatory Obama-era regulation:

"Just nine days prior to President Trump's inauguration, the Obama administration implemented a discriminatory regulation that made it the policy of the federal government to viciously discriminate against faith-based foster care providers.

"Today, HHS took an important first step toward reversing that shameful policy by providing the state of South Carolina with an official exception to the regulation, allowing these charities the ability to continue serving poor children who desperately need homes without having to violate key tenets of their faith. HHS also made it clear that the position of the Trump administration is that the Obama-era regulation is in direct conflict with the law.

"We applaud HHS for their effort to protect faith-based foster care providers, and we urge HHS and the Trump administration to continue their efforts to undo this discriminatory regulation in order to preserve the freedom of these providers to continue their important work."

Politics of the Alexandria Library

The Scripture informs us that one of the sons of Japhet, the son of Noah, was called Javan Gen. 10:2. He was the founder of the Greek nation. Greece in ancient time was known to have descended from Javan. It was Phillip of Macedonia who united the scattering Greek states. He was assassinated in 336 BC'S and consequently, his son, Alexander, ascended the throne and eventually became the star general of the world. In 332 BC during his campaign in North Africa, he founded the city of Alexandria.9 For over a thousand years, Alexandria remained the capital of Egypt.10 It was one of the most prosperous cities of the ancient world. Its prosperity included learning. Alexandria harboured the largest library in antiquity." Alexandrian library might have harboured information such that could have frustrated the birth of evolutionism. There was some wealth of information stacked in that library that could have answered some puzzling questions, especially issues that relate to creation and religion.

The great library preserved more than 700,000 books of antiquity. Goodasave reports that there were two "royal libraries" that boasted of those collections: one was named Serapeum containing 300,000 volumes, while the other, Bruchion, housed 400,000 volumes.'2 The library had quite a lot to offer the ancient world as observed by Goodasave:

The Alexandrian Library was also a research institute and a university that had full facilities teaching mathematics, science, literature, philosophy and medicine. There was an astronomical observatory, a chemical laboratory, a botanical and zoological garden and500-bed hospital with a huge surgical theatre for operations and dissection.

History informs us that this wealth of knowledge was destroyed. The library was established by Ptolemy I Soler. After him, his son, Ptolemy II Philadelphus assembled more books to beef up the collections.14 Unfortunately, the Alexandrian Library with all its custody of ancient and rare history, was destroyed. The destruction was politically motivated. The dragon, in history, was successful in using politics to suppress truth. Truth can be suppressed but not destroyed.

In 47 BC, during Julius Caesars campaign against the followers of Emperor Pompey, the fire that was set to destroy the Egyptian warships spread through the library. About 40,000 books were destroyed in that fire outbreak. Emperor Lucius Domitius, in AD 272 ordered the burning of the Library. In AD 391, Emperor Theodosius also burned the Library. Finally, it was destroyed by militant Muslims in AD 640 under the Caliph Umarl.

The systematic destruction of the Alexandrian Library is an indication that there must have been some invaluable documents that could have substantiated truth as revealed in the Holy Scriptures. Such truth as the creation of the world and the Biblical deluge; and the division in languages that encouraged the post-deluge race to scatter over the face of the earth, must have attracted the wrath of the dragon. The truth of the matter is that the Renaissance of the 13th century AD, was not really the birth of learning. Men and women of antiquity believed in the divinity, although the dragon corrupted their understanding of God's real nature.

Unconsccrated politicians became powerful tools in the hand of Satan. Julius Caesar was a pagan. The civil war between him and emperor Pompey's loyalists led to the burning of over 40,000 books in the Library. Emperor Lucius Domitius was an idol worshipper, a tool in the hand of evil spirits. He burned the library in AD 272; likewise, Emperor Theodosius I—a pagan king. In AD 391, he ordered for the destruction of the library. What the dragon could not accomplish through religious manipulations, he employed the political powers of the state. In the name of religion in AD 640, the caliph Umar I led militant Muslims to wipe out from Alexandria whatever had been spared of the library. Thousands of years of scholarship were thus buried in the dust bin of history through political and religious maneuverings.

The Word of God, the Holy Scripture, is also one of the books of antiquity reaching the present generation. At about 1500 BC, Moses wrote the Pentateuch (the five books of Moses). The power of God protected and preserved the scriptures. The discovery of the Dead Sea scrolls of the scriptures has demonstrated the protective care of God over the holy scrolls. The scrolls were located at Qumran in a monastic ruin probably belonging to the Essenes sect.

Notwithstanding the efforts made by the dragon to frustrate some knowledge harboured by the Alexandrian library, the Word of God remains intact, protected by holy angels. There were other attempts made by the dragon, through political instigations, to monitor and frustrate the first advent of the Messiah.
