Don't miss the beautiful picture of the Gospel in these verses. Before Christ, we were caught in all kinds of sins that would keep us out of the Kingdom of God. But we have been washed, sanctified, and justified! We are not the same! We have been forever changed by the precious blood of the Lamb of God. In contrast, World Vision teaches that we can enter the Kingdom of God without being washed, sanctified, and justified, settling on a gospel that literally sends people to Hell.

Consequently, World Vision is no longer a Christian organization. It seems clear that Christian people should support Christian organizations over non-Christian organizations that do the same work. For contrast, let's examine this statement by Samaritan's Purse President Franklin Graham:

I was shocked today to hear of World Vision’s decision to hire employees in same-sex marriages. The Bible is clear that marriage is between a man and a woman. My dear friend, Bob Pierce, the founder of World Vision and Samaritan’s Purse, would be heartbroken. He was an evangelist who believed in the inspired Word of God. World Vision maintains that their decision is based on unifying the church – which I find offensive – as if supporting sin and sinful behavior can unite the church. From the Old Testament to the New Testament, the Scriptures consistently teach that marriage is between a man and woman and any other marriage relationship is sin.

The call to help the poor is an important one, and we must take seriously the biblical commands to do so. However, there is no reason to partner with the workers of darkness. The Bible is very clear on this point. In II Chronicles 20, The LORD sent a prophet to rebuke Jehoshaphat (king of Judah) for joining with Ahaziah (wicked king of Israel) to build ships. That's it. And if God cares about our associations when we partner with someone to build ships, how much more does God care about our associations when we do His work in His Name? This is what the Holy Spirit says:

Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever? What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God. (II Corinthians 6)

For Conscientious Christians, the Boycott of World Vision starts today. We must not allow World Vision to proclaim a false gospel with our money. We must not support World Vision over Christian charities. We must not fellowship with darkness. We must not allow Christian Love to be mutilated, and Christian Compassion to be shipwrecked.

If World Vision wants to send people to Hell in the name of humanitarianism, they can do it on someone else's dime.

Sunnie Kahle has short hair and a huge heart, and as far as her grandparents are concerned, she is a completely normal little girl.

"She cries every morning to get on the bus, she cries when she comes home because she wants to go back to Timberlake Christian with her friends," said Doris Thompson.

Doris and Carroll Thompson are Sunnie's grandparents. They adopted and raised the little girl and took her out of Timberlake Christian School when they received a letter from the school's K-8 Principal.

"You're probably aware that Timberlake Christian School is a religious, Bible believing institution providing education in a distinctly Christian environment," read Doris from a part of the letter.

The letter goes on to say that students have been confused about whether Sunnie is a boy or girl and specifies that administrators can refuse enrollment for condoning sexual immorality, practicing a homosexual lifestyle or alternative gender identity.

The letter goes on to reference specific Bible verses that affirm these beliefs.

The letter reads in part, "We believe that unless Sunnie as well as her family clearly understand that God has made her female and her dress and behavior need to follow suit with her God-ordained identity, that TCS is not the best place for her future education."

"How do you label a child, eight years old, or discriminate against an eight year old child? It just don't happen" said Carroll Thompson.

"Sunnie says, 'I'm a girl, I know I'm a girl' and she said then you know, you're acting like and looking, and wanting to look and act like a boy" said Doris.

An administrator from Timberlake Christian, said the problem with Sunnie goes "far beyond her hair length" and that the little girl is a good student, but that "things disturbed the classroom environment."

The astrophysicist and host of Fox’s “Cosmos” said recently that using the Bible as a scientific source was problematic, because no one had ever scientifically proven a theory based on scripture.

Comfort said last week on his online “Comfort Zone” program that Tyson wasn’t qualified to make that determination because he’s not a theologian.

“You know, the word ‘science,’ it’s kind of a magical word,” Comfort said. “‘I believe in science.’ It just means knowledge, that’s all it means. There’s different areas of science, different areas of knowledge. When you say the Bible is not a science book, you’re saying it’s not a knowledge book? It tells us how God created the Earth!”

Knowledge, of course, is not quite all that defines science, which is characterized by systematic methods of observation in pursuit of new understanding.

But Comfort insisted the Bible was a science book because it described the origins of the universe.

“It gives us the basis for all creation, and it passes the scientific method,” he said. “It’s observable – Genesis – and testable. Evolution is not. You can’t observe something 60 million years old, but you can observe what Genesis says.”

For example, Comfort argued, the Book of Genesis mentions that animals reproduce other animals like themselves, and that can be observed on the fossil record.

“The Bible isn’t written as a science book, but it has scientific facts in it that can be relied upon, unchanging scientific facts,” he said. “It’s God’s word.”

Comfort’s guest, creationist fundraiser Alan Pearson, said Tyson’s comments revealed a flaw in scientific thinking.

“This is a reboot of the PBS series in the ‘70s with Carl Sagan, who said the cosmos is all that ever was and all that ever will be, which is ironic, because that is not a statement that can be proven in fact,” said Pearson, who directs fundraising for Comfort’s ministry. “That is a faith-based statement, if you will. So it’s kind of ironic, this whole thing being rebooted as it is.”

Comfort agreed that Tyson, like Sagan, seems like a nice fellow.

“Horrible statements come from nice guys,” Comfort said. “I mean, he’s just downgraded the word of God as just, you can’t trust it, [but] you can throw yourself blindfolded without reserve into the promises of God. You can trust the Bible. It’s God’s word.”

As a man of God and an Evangelical Christian believer, CHAMP's faith "compels me to support Biblical traditional family values". The gubernatorial candidate opposed what he called, " ungodly legislation drafted by demonic terrorist extremists own agenda", that refuse to follow the Biblical or constitution guide lines. - Do you go out alone to lunch or after work for drinks with members of the opposite sex?

- Do you enjoy harmless (by your definition) flirtation with someone of the opposite sex at a cocktail party?

- Do you believe that getting emotionally excited by flirting with someone of the opposite sex is helpful to your marriage? Do you think it helps educate you as to what you need more of from your spouse? Do you tell yourself that the juice you get from flirting brings more vitality to your marriage?

- Do you spend as long buying the "right gift" for a colleague of the opposite sex as you do for your own spouse?

- Do you share intimate issues about yourself or marriage with a member of the opposite sex?

If you're doing any of these things, you're being emotionally unfaithful to your spouse. You have only so much energy. If you're spending it with coworkers or outside the home and then getting home and feeling too tired to spend any more on your spouse, that's emotional infidelity. You're effectively relocating vital marital energy into the hands of others. Forget about where it might end up. Even if you never touch this other person, you have still used that person to relate to, and in doing so, you relate away from your spouse.

You may be shaking your head and disagreeing. But I've spent years helping couples pool their energies toward each other, and it has changed their marriage immediately. Stop all of these outside relationships and bring all your emotional and sexual energy home to your spouse, and you, too, will change your marriage immediately.

If the speed of light was decaying, it would turn the standard model of the cosmos on its head. If decay could be proven, practically everything science thinks they know about the origins of the universe would be wrong. Things like; the perceived age of the universe, intergalactic distances, the weak and strong forces, electron energies, and such. I tend to think the universe is winding down and that includes the speed of light.

I have a working hypothesis that all living things are devolving, genetics material is being lost, DNA is not as robust as it once was, and destructive genetic defects are on the rise. A reduction in light speed could possibly account for this because it would alter the electron force in every atom and thus degrade the very building block of life.

Finally, let us say again, thank God for the death of Fred W. Phelps, Sr. We at WBC are not hypocrites after the fashion of Pope Francis, and we are consistent in our message and in our actions. Thank God for the other 150,000 or so deaths on Wednesday, thank God for the deaths that have happened since, and thank God for all His workings in the earth. Blessed be the name fo the Lord.

This generation is horribly caught in the soul-damning sin of worshiping the dead, and we have told you repeatedly over the years about the gravity of this sin. We partake in no such idolatry to serve as an example of how to properly conduct yourselves in these matters. Compare what you see from WBC at this time compared to what you do every time someone dies. You see no pep rally “celebrating the life of the departed”, you don’t see us putting forth some public show of grief and tears. No funerals, no wakes, no tributes, no scholarship funds, no public memorials or candlelight vigils. Just moving forward with our job – preaching to you, and using every opportunity we can to do so. Why? Because as we have repeatedly told you, this is not about any one of us. This is about the message we bring from your Maker, God.

This is a door of utterance (Rev. 3:8) that God opened for us to speak, and so speak we do. Dying time is truth time, and so we preach truth to you regardless of who has died. Your vitriolic bilge is of no concern to us, and we indeed rejoice in it since every article written, every tweet tweeted, every talking head spouting off about this death puts forth this one blessed theological maxim – God Hates Fags. You cannot dictate to us what our response to this matter is, and we will not be swayed by your overwhelming hatred and vulgarity. We will not be swayed by your faux sympathy and fake concern. We will stay on message. That’s what God’s servants do.

The world-wide saturation of these words in this last week is a blessed testimony to the WBC that we are His people and these are His words. Whether you will hear them or whether you will forbear and resist them is not our matter to resolve. That is between you and God.

What I know is that this "James" decided to make public a private letter, while providing only his side of this story. Conveniently for James, this makes his father look like a very bad man, a real homophobe just like that intolerant Cathy character.

"James" has a need to pit the whole world against his father with this one-sided tale of woe.

Therefore, I don't trust this "James". He comes off as a manipulative, deceptive drama queen.

I have had it with the current administration actions. As a result I called or mailed all my liberal "friends" and relatives and informed them that I blame them and they are no longer welcome in my home. Since I am the major source of money for many in my family this is a real problem for some of them. I told them to go see obama not me. I have also stopped all charitable donations and now send that to Conservative political organization (not necessarily the RNC since more republicans are liberal).

I am PISSED. If you are a liberal I have no use for you. I want a real war between real Conservatives and liberal and I have taken my first shot!

People I don't even know are relating a graham cracker with family values. Even when I know it doesn't exist in reality. I bet the majority of homosexuals don't even eat graham crackers. I bet the activists will encourage the gay community to support Nabisco by buying their products. And soon, graham crackers will become more commonly seen in the cracks of their couch cushions.

Grass Smokin' Tyson is a laugh. He be high on himself and thinks of himself as God. While he touts his new 'religion', he simply mirrors the old religion. Starting with the Big Bang (Creation), Tyson squats on a calendar to illustrate time and starts with Creation and how planets were formed then stars came to life (Let There Be Light) and the relatively sudden appearance of life, then man (Garden of Eden) then he expounds on the end of life (Noah), and re-birth of life.
