Quote# 14564

Ah, the "altruist" seems so heartfelt.

But without the blood of Jesus, we are nothing, spirits headed headlong into hell, never seeing the darkness, the eternal darkness that waits for our sinful souls.

This is the worldly philanthropist outlook, people who think that by some certain work we'll enter heaven. Perhaps helping loved ones, or others, giving, etc. that that will satisfy our condition. But the fact remains that we are more than our bodies, and something will happen to our spirits when we die.

I'm laughing at the remarks about the Old Testament not applying anymore; ridiculous. The prophecies of old fulfill right before our very eyes, but the scales hide the truth from some. The Old Testament law is just as true today as yesterday; our God never changes.

I'm amused at the reference to Job; probably the oldest book of the Bible, that it is referred to as in "the middle", but Job is so real today, it seems like the lessons learned must have been cut out for just this generation!

As for "the good life being one inspired by love and knowledge"; I would only say 'tis true friend; but something's missing. Virtually every person ever born has affection for family, and pursues worldly knowledge. In that case, even Hitler had this form of "love" and "knowledge".

The search for God's Love and knowledge will eventually lead one to the Truth, the Way, the Life; that is Jesus. No search for Love or knowledge is complete without God's Son.

We cannot know true Love, nor Wisdom, without Jesus in our hearts.

Quote# 14569

I had an encounter with a demon about 8 years ago. I stayed in a Motel room when I was living in sin with my girlfriend. I came in the door after midnight after work. My girlfriend was drunk as usual and told me that she had been entertaining a lost soul. I did not believe in such things so I just went to bed. I felt eeire, so I went in the other room to sleep. While I was trying to go to sleep, I got scared, so I prayed to Jesus for a safe sleep. I then had a complete peace that came over me. Then I heard my girlfriend praying to God to bring peace to this lost soul. Then I got a vision of this demon. It was not a lost soul! It was black and had fangs and claws. It was growing because of her lack of faith in God's judgement. She thought that she could pray this being into Heaven. As she was praying, I saw this horrible thing hovering over her. It was feeding off of her lack of belief. She believed in God and Jesus, but she had some false Catholic teachings. I warned her to stop, but she got mad at me and continued to pray. I knew that this Beings name was the Deceiver. He was deceiving her! I fell to sleep and by the next morning, I had to rush her to the ER! They told me that her vitals were dropping and that she was dying. I prayed with her in the room, but she did not accept or believe my prayers and my theology. I could not blame her since I was not living the life. She then asked for a Priest, but there was none around, so they sent a Chaplin. She prayed the exact same prayer that I did and my girlfriend trusted her, so she was completely delivered and she was released just a couple hours later!

Yes Yoga and all that stuff is of the occult because they teach eastern meditation and opens you up to all kinds yucky spirits. Tai Chi a formof martial arts is too. To be honest I do no think the physical exercises are the issue but the spiritual aspect of meditation and hynoptic emptying of the mind while practicing them. It is best torun from any place or church that has a hint of any of this. I think very few christians are even aware how much the occult and gnosticism has infiltrated churches.

Length
Breadth
Height
Time

I heavily guess that there is a 7th dimension... why?

Cause God does things in 7's.

Top Ten Signs you're a dumbass atheist:

10. You vigorously deny the existence of God, yet you frequently blame him for everything that is wrong in modern society.
9. You repeatedly insist that man did not, in fact, evolve from an ape. Apes and men both evolved from another species who did not resemble Curious George in any way.
8. You criticize Christians who don't know their Bible, yet you have never opened any of Darwin's texts.
7. While all created evidence and reasoning point to a Creator and absolute truth, you prefer to hide behind relativism and a theory of evolution which does not, in fact, describe the creation of the universe at all.
6. You can't seem to understand the fundamental differences between fundamental Muslims and fundamental Christians (hint: strap-on TNT)
5. You willingly attribute all historical atrocities in Europe to a demographic that contained approximately 100% of Europeans during the period in question.
4. You also like to ignore the beneficial discoveries of the aforementioned demographic.
3. You don't realize that a closed system can be defined however the observer wants, so you throw out technological phrases to try to ignore the implications of thermodynamics.
2. You accuse Christians of being hateful and you hope that they DIAF.
1. Your biggest complaint is that these typically hopeful and caring people want to share the greatest single thing in their life with you. You're like an idiot who wipes with winning lottery tickets. Clap. Clap.

Clap.

This is why they ought to be sterilized.

With Christianity, it is hit and mostly misses. The few and far in-between hits keep the deluded believing, unknowing this is not any "miracle" but only the power of the mind. The end objective is atheism. The atheist believes in nothing and disregards anything "supernatural" or of the occult. He/she is a sitting duck just waiting to be manipulated by those who possess occult knowledge and power.

Sadly, Steve Irwin wasn’t a creationist. He mentioned evolution and the concept of millions of years many times in his television programs. For example, he once told Larry King on CNN’s Larry King Live cable program that crocodiles had been around for 200 million years, and if you weren’t careful they would kill you"
[...]
What does the death of Steve Irwin mean for us? It’s a reminder that we all need to repent of our sin so that we can be saved for eternity—because we all face death. As a witnessing opportunity at this time, point more of your friends/relatives to AiG’s website for answers to this important question—one that affects everyone’s eternity.

Quote# 14591

The gov't can endorse religion, it can't force religion. You say, well if its tax payer dollars buying the bibles, then the gov't is endorsing the religion, true, but perfectly ok. Think of this.

A. If a gov't builds, or repairs a road that leads to a church, did they endorse the church? The church did benefit from the gov't funding that was used on the road. How is that different then buying bibles?

B. If a church uses the post office to send letters to people, is our post office, which is a gov't service endorsing them? You could say no, they are paying to send their own letters. The truth however is that the post office if funded by tax dollars, even if you pay for your stamp, you are really just paying a tax based on consumption. Not that terribly different then a sales tax.

Most people would think those above examples are perfectly fine. They really aren't any different. The road doesn't make anyone go to the church, but it might improve turnout nontheless. Handing out bibles doesn't make anyone a christian, or make them go to church either.

think you better ask the Doctor on this board, WayTruthLife. I am sure he will confirm that a homosexual lifestyle is unhealthy even if it is monogamous. Introducing sperm to the colon puts a foreign body into the blood stream that attacks the immune system. That's why homosexuals always look unhealty. This condition is not to be confused with AIDS.

Your opinion as a homosexual is worthless. You are engaging in criminal, abnormal and sociopathic behaviour and have no credibility. You need to be institutionalized in a facility for the criminally insane.

Quote# 14494

About a week ago I was taken into what I believe was a level of hell. It was a nasty area, not too disturbing, but nasty to look at. It was kind of like a corral that has years of stomped on excrement in it. Most of it was dried up and it was all lumpy. As I was walking through this area I realized that my little dog was beside me and then he wasn't. I turned to see where he was and saw him urinating on the head of a skeleton that was partially protruding from the ground. As the dog was doing this the skeleton started to move a little. It was becoming aware and all I could do was look. I immediately "KNEW" that the giants of ancient times are rising again. That is the message I was given to post here. Time is shorter than we think it is if this is happening now, which is the information I was given, that they ARE rising now, not that they will be rising soon.

As I awakened from this vision every part of my being "KNEW" that the giants of ancient times are rising. This giant skeleton in this dream was probably about 15 times bigger than what is average now. On further retrospection of this vision I marvelled that I was not surprised of what I saw, nor was I afraid, neither was the dog.

This vision is not up for debate, as it was perfectly clear in its message.

Isa 19:19-20 explains where and when Jesus will return again. This is my theory, even though I pray daily - "Please Lord Jesus, tell me where and when will you return?" But God will not answer because of Satan's pychic power to read minds of all Christians and atheists. That's why the bible symbolic prophecies are not literal, otherwise Satan will know when to hide and avoid Jesus from destroying his human disguise and sent him back to hell.

On the surface I would love homosexuality to be OUTLAWED. Personally I GREATLY dislike homosexuality, I dislike even more the way its become accepted now. I even further dislike the way the gay crowd constantly push themselves on society, they aren't exactly the quietest bunch, in particular the way they challenge marriage, etc. I have often thought in my own little head - "where are the terrorists when you need them":. I know thats not a very deeply thought through statement but its the gut feeling I have towards homosexuality. I wouldn't weep much over a terrorist attack on a Mardi Gras or on some other major homosexual convention or something.
